For this late evening lesson Mrs Burbage own tower patch has been widened and extended to work as an outdoor classroom by the help of the daaarling headmistress Annie. Over the plants, neat rows of desks and chairs have been scattered out two and two together. Up front Mrs Burbage dressed in warm robes under a long red outer coat and a rainbow colored scarf around her neck is sitting on the edge of her desk waiting for her students to arrive.

Whoa whoa whoa, too many people talking to her at once. Anastasia shook her head once, then again, as she tried to absorb the different versions of the same story coming her way. First there was the little Hufflepuff, scooting her way and then mentioning MULTIPLE sightings of this supposed plant.
"Well did anyone see what kind of plant it was?" she mused, her curiosity immediately piqued at mention of a plant. "Is it one from the Professor's garden patch, perhaps? Or some kind of Devil's Snare...?" She needed more description here, people!
She glanced around the circle of faces but as usual, didn't bother to wait for an answer. Instead, the Headmistress clicked over to the tower garden patch, frowning as she also leaned over the side of the tower and saw nothing in particular down below.
"Oooh, the Northern Lights look particularly bright tonight," she did say, showing that she had heard the Gryffindor fingerpainting. Poor child was completely out of it. Annie was sure Marion would never endorse spreading a mess on a piece of paper with one's own appendages. Tsk tsk. Perhaps this situation was more serious than it seemed at first glance. All this talk of hearing Marion squeak, and then seeing her supposedly 'dragged' out of the room by a 'plant'...sounded a bit made up, if you asked her. Were these children really that sleep deprived?
She walked back into the room and frowned in Alexa Cambridge's general direction. "There's no need to shout...." And no need to be seated on the desks either. As far as she and her few magic-detecting spells could tell, nothing particularly Dark had happened here. "But there is a need to evacuate the area. Whoever--- sorry, whatever ---caused Burbage to leave might be of concern to us as well."
So, prefects. "Let's have the Prefects and seventh years usher everyone back to their common rooms, please. The Gryffindor Common Room has been opened and we have a team working on the others as we speak." She nodded firmly, then caught the worried expressions on everyone's faces once again.
"On second thought... let's just all sleep in the Great Hall one more night, shall we? Prefects, seventh years, change of plans. Everyone needs to return to the Great Hall until we can fully check out the Common Rooms for any lingering... issues. I'm sorry your class had to come to abrupt end."
The redhead started making shooing gestures with her hands. The sooner they were out of here, the better. She wanted to find this plant, if it existed, and Marion alive and well too. ASAP preferably.

"Well did anyone see what kind of plant it was?"
Nope, Gideon couldn't say if anyone did but he certainly hadn't. Noises and such were all he could contribute haven't been witness to anything else. He waited as the woman seemed to digest all of what was being said to her before speaking again and giving directions to the 7th years and prefects. The Gryffindor nodded at her words of instruction, happy at least on the inside to hear their common room had been unlocked. And he was about to lead his fellow housemates off when Headmistress Truebridge changed her mind.
Looked like it was at least one more night in the Great Hall for all of them. "Aye Headmistress," he agreed with a nod before moving to gather up his belongings. Gideon avoided the shooing motion of her hands and motioned for the lions to pay attention. "Alright...all Gryffindors," and anyone else for the matter, "Gather up everything and let's head back down to the Great Hall. Anya...." he added for emphasis to the girl who seemed out of it. With that he turned around and lead them out.

Minerva listened to the headmistress and what she wanted the students to do. Was she even listening to them. Minerva had seen the plant way to many times for her liking. She avoided students leaving and walked closer to the headmistress again, "Ma'am, all that has been seen is a vine. It's taking it's vine to move around the school. When it was around my ankle at the hot springs it was just a weird green vine, but it didn't want to let go. I was just lucky and was able to wiggle free." She looked around for Alexa, she was going to need her help to show that she wasn't nuts with this plant. "Alexa and I were at the playground the second time I saw it. We were sitting with Mr. Gibbins pet wombat. The same green vine came into the playground hit me across my face, hit Alexa, then... she struggled to even get the words out her voice shaking..then it wrapped around Millie and drug her away. We went for Mr. Gibbins, but we couldn't find the plant. I don't think it's devils snare because those two times were during the day light." She looked around the class, "Tonight, I didn't get a good look at the plant, but it was the same dragging, the same distressed shrieking that Millie did." She shuddered from the whole ordeal. "I..I'll head to the great hall now, I just wanted you to know everything I know. Professor Newlin and Mr. Gibbins might be able to help since they were the ones that came the day at the playground."

Swinging her feet off the desk this time, Kurumi stood up and reached out for the two nearest students to her - which were Daichi since he had been sitting next to her and Logan who had seemingly attached himself to her since the plant had attacked.
Nodding towards the Headmistress in an unspoken agreement of what was to be done, Kurumi slipped her hand into Logan's and gave it a small squeeze to try and keep him calm. "Stay close until we get to the Great Hall, okay?" she said with a small wink. "You can hold Alec's hand with your other if you want." Did Daichi want to hold hands? He was a fifth year but tended to be a bit timid and a scardy duck cat when it came to such things. In fact... "Everyone should probably stick with their buddy and follow the nearest prefect or seventh year out of the classroom to the Great Hall, please," she said with a forced confidence on her face and in her voice.
It went without saying, but Kurumi had her wand out and at the ready just in case something were to happen. Kurumi cast quick glances at the other student leaders and seventh years before she began to lead her group of students towards the Great Hall.
She had REALLY wanted to go to the common room too....

Okay. Everything would be just fine. Vivi was now sitting with her and most of the people were sitting on the desks like they were told to do. At least they could follow instructions when necessary. There was nothing to worry about.
She turned her attention to a voice that sounded like it was freaking out too. Vickers. Honestly, she expected better from him. She scowled slightly. He wasn't making things any better. "Knock it off Vick! Nothing's coming back and no one's flying off anywhere." The last thing she wanted was to have someone stirring up Pao again after Kurumi had finally gotten him to settle down. Vivi clearly just said that everything would be just fine and she believed her!
Her eyes followed the woman who didn't seem to care at all about the fact that she could've been next. Lex watched her walk over to the tower garden patch before walking back in. That's when she saw the frown. It looked aimed at her...it was meant for her, wasn't it? Well then, if that's the thanks she got for caring then the woman could just go ahead and be the plant's next victim; now wouldn't that teach her a valuable lesson or two?
Lex nearly fell off the desk when she heard the common room was open again. YES! Her candy was saved--whaaaa...one more night in the Great Hall??? But...but...if the plant could get all the way up here then it could get into the Great Hall too!!! Did they want to make them sitting ducks or something?! Her scowl deepened when Gideon gave orders for them to grab their things so they could head down. No.
Immediately she turned to Vivi again."I don't care how many spells either of my prefects know I'm bunking with you in Ravenclaw for tonight." Safety was a serious issue that not every one could be trusted with.
Oh but then Minnie was trying to tell the Headmistress about the wretched plant. This was where she would add her two cents before leaving. "Yeah, it just uses vines or whatever to grab things then pull them away." That was all. Now she could leave with Vivi her partner and NOT with them.

Otherwise I've would have asked Ms Greingoth to lead you back to the dungeons to see Professor Lafay." Sleeping in her class was rude and disrespectful.
"Aurora is the Goddess of Dawn and she renews herself every morning before she zoomes across the sky just before the sun rises to announce its arrival. Without her the sun wouldn’t rise from its hiding place. The sun is always there like you pointed out Laura but the Earth isn’t static it moves on its axis just as we are talking right now. By moving the planet also regulates how much light from the sun we get. When it’s night here it’s because the sun currently isn’t shining on our part of the world."
Marion paused for a moment to gather her thoughts. "Auroras as the lights are also commonly referred to are a natural light display in the sky, that occurs in high latitude region when energy charged particles collide with atoms in the thermosphere. The aurora we see near the north magnetic pole here in Scotland usually has a greenish glow or sometimes a faint red."
Locking down at her watch she clapped her hands and jumped on the spot. "Everyone turn your heads to the right and look up at the sky. We should in only a minute see the lights with our very own eyes."
SPOILER!!: Aurora Borealis green
SPOILER!!: Aurora Borealis red
Marion sat down on her desk and watched in awe as the natural lights display lit up the night sky overhead. It was a breathtaking and amazing sight which she hoped the student’s appreciated just as much as she did. Seeing things with your own eyes she concluded triumphed over just reading about things in a textbook.
Not exactly amused by the thought of seeing some sort of light in the sky, Sierra turned her head and waiting for...whatever was going to happen. A second later, the sky was painted green, and Sierra actually perked up a bit and stared at the newly painted sky. It was...actually sort of cool. Then a moment later, she was looking at a red sky, a bright red sky, and she'd be lying if she said she wasn't impressed.

Wait...they were going to...paint the skies? Couldn't they just look up? It was just...right there! In the sky! What good would a painting do now?! There was really no use complaining. Sierra knew that in the end, she'd be painting with the best of 'em. She started getting out her materials and adjusting herself into a good position to study the sky and create a painting at the same time.

Not wanting to wait one second longer the tendrils attacked.
In a second they wrapped themselves around Burbage's legs and yanked her off her desk, onto the floor, and then dragged her out of the class so quickly that she never quite managed to out a cry for help. All she got out was a loud shriek as she left the room. Pulling the old woman back to where it resided the Umbrella Vinora did not hesitate and gobbled her right up.
Yummy.
Hearing a rustling sound nearby, Sierra glanced over to see a few tendrils of a plant creeping around Burbage's legs. Sierra's eyebrows furrowed inward. What was the professor standing in all the plants for? Sierra shook her hand and turned back to her work.
...but then she heard a thudding sound and looked over to see the professor flipped off her desk and being drug out the class. Sierra grew wide-eyed, scooted backward really quickly, and then stumbled onto her feet. The...the professor! She was...ATTACKED! By...a PLANT!
Sierra stumbled around for a bit, fumbling over a few words she'd been trying to say, but then finally managed to flick her wand out her holster.

Gideon listened to what she had to say and found himself nodding at her ideas and suggestions. For a younger student, she indeed seemed to have the right train of thought in this situation.
"Actually I agree, seeing as we do not know it whatever is the cause is still out there or not." Turning his attention to the rest of the class, Gideon figured he might as well take charge of the situation. Maybe a last hurrah as a student leader.
"Okay class...stay calm. I have sent a patronus to Headmistress Truebridge and hopefully everything will be figured out in no time. For now, just sit tight and do not leave until the headmistress arrives."
There, prefect duties still going on even as the term was winding to a close.
She wasn't sure what she was about to do--call for help, go get help, send somebody for help...something! Gideon had sent his patronus for help, though, so there was nothing on that end for Sierra to do now. She looked around. Somebody really needed to do some crowd control...

Hmmph. Seemed like the prefects needed some crisis training.
"I'm here," she announced, bursting through the door just slightly out of breath. "Here here, here here." She tried not to hang on the doorknob too much as she walked around the perimeter of the room, wand out and ready as she looked for Marion and her supposed professor-knapper.
"Where's Mrs. Burbage???"

Sierra made a sweeping glance around the room, not exactly knowing what she was looking for, but looking even still. She wouldn't admit this to a soul, but she sort of thought she might have a nightmare about having to run for her life from some man-eating plant.
She passed by the Headmistress on her way to gather the students and lead them to the Great Hall. "Headmistress Truebridge? Let me know if you need me to do anything else," she said.
...because she so still needed to redeem herself in this woman's eyes.

"Ohhhh Merlin!" he whispered in his own panicked state. Unless any of them could take to the skies they were effectively trapped like rats.
He turned his head at Vivi saying about keeping their feet off the floor and getting on a desk. He does that quickly but it didn't ease him, nope not one bit. "We have to get off this tower...." he warbles "... because I'm telling you all right now, I cant fly off if that thing comes back here and starts grabbing people again."
Why in the world was Vickers hanging over the edge like he was hoping someone would push him? Vivi eyed the boy and wondered is she needed to bind him to the railing, and she actually had her fingers on her wand when the Headmistress spoke.
She slid off the desk and reached out to grab hold of him by the wrist. "Hear that, Vick? The Head says we're allowed to head back down to the Great Hall, and you'll be back in your own bed tomorrow night." She gave his arm a squeeze before letting go. "Help me round up the stragglers? You can be partners with Lex and I."

So he'd be partnering up with them huh? Well in that case she had one thing to say to him. "No negative talk on the way down; got it?" She didn't want anyone freaking her out and if he tried then he would find himself going down the stairs at a speed faster than what he was accustomed to. Who knew, maybe the plant would be waiting at the bottom to break his fall.
She watched Vivi make her way back over and once her hand was offered Lex latched onto it. Normally this would be seen as a patronizing act but not this time, Nope. This time it could've been the difference between making it back to the Great Hall alive and being hauled off somewhere.
The girl squealed a bit when Vivi agreed to let her stay in the Ravenclaw section with her. Goooood. "Yay! I can keep you warm!" Or she could try to. With her around she wouldn't have to worry about suddenly being wrapped up and taken to wherever Professor Burbage and Millie now were--not that she planned to do much sleeping, oh no, sleeping was for people who didn't mind dying and the last she checked, she didn't fit into that category at all. Not even a little.

Back to the Great Hall? She looked around to see if everyone else was on board with this idea. I guess at least the plant can't get inside...can it? I mean, how long is that thing anyway? She swung her legs down off of the desk and made her way over to follow the rest of the students to their temporary sleeping quarters. But they've gotten into the Gryffindor common room? That's a good sign, isn't it? She hoped it wasn't some sort of trap - whoever locked them out suddenly allowing them to get back in? What if there's something bad in all of the common rooms now? She thought it was a good call to not send the lions rushing into the unknown.
She thought back to her Divination lesson when her arrows had landed on yes after she asked if something worse than the lockout was going to happen next. She swallowed hard and tried to tell herself it was a coincidence that the arrow had been right, and tried to think happy thoughts of her professor being found in an A-OK condition. Somehow the whole thing felt rather...dark. She now agreed, the Great Hall would probably be the best place for everyone until they knew what was happening.

What? IT WAS THERE! The Aurora Borealis! Kat enthusiastically looked up the sky to see the different colors of the lights. It was beautiful. If only she had a camera at hand right now, she would've snapped a shot of this scene. She wanted to show this to her father.
Her father... Kat thought of her father, Jordan Mikhael Hudson, who was probably in bed right now. Sick. The thought of her father made Kat want to go home. She knew her father was slowly fading away from her family... and despite the fact that Kat knew he wasn't her real father, she loved him just like her own. The absence of her biological father had made Kat independent, but always made her go back to Jordan's arms. And Kat wouldn't have been enjoying the scene of the Aurora Borealis if it wasn't for her father.
Kat took a deep breath. Daddy, this is all for you.

A princess who pricked her finger? A smile pursed Marion’s lips as she responded to Alexander. "No, daarling I think you've mixed up Aurora from the Roman myth with the muggle fairy tale 'sleeping beauty'. In the 'sleeping beauty' fairy tale a young woman pricks her finger and falls into a deep asleep that only her truelove can wake her from with a kiss. Aurora from the roman myth is just the goddess of dawn nothing more." She concluded her explanation.
Marion turned from the badger to a claw with a more serious question. She took time to pull on a pair of mittens as formed her answer. Beaming at Ethan she replied "I forgot that I said I was going explain why the lights were named after the goddess Aurora was misleading. Simply put the goddess Aroura reflects the sunlight and thus tell us that the sun is rising and setting. But the northern lights don’t appear in sunlight and thus shouldn’t be named after the goddess."
"The different coloures that the northern lights take on like red and green depends on which height, altitude in the atmosphere the energy particles collide with molecules and atoms. The different coloures of lights are the excess energy that comes out of the collision and is emitted to us through this light display that we see tonight." Marion trailed off to look up at the lights one more.
Marion was about to turn her attention back to the lights in the night sky when she heard Laura’s question. The young badger had a lovely idea. Looking over at her with a smile she commented "I think some artists have probably tried over the years. If you’d like to paint a picture of the lights then by all means do so." Maybe she should ask all of them to paint some pictures of the lights. Hmm.
While she spoke to Laura she overheard how Kurumi took a stab at responding to Logan's question. Marion gave the prefect a thumb's up for the answer which she had nothing to add on to. It was correct and eloquently explained. Looking out over the class she spoke to all of them. "If you have blank parchments then take some time and paint a picture of the northern lights. Right, draw. Wait, PAINT. Kat's creative side of her brain was not working well. But it looked like she can't do anything about it. AND NOW, they're back to the Great Hall. Sighs, again. Not those sleeping bags for peasants. Sighs, just follow the rules and orders.

Oichi looked up and saw the it, the aurora borealis, it was a magnificant site to behold, the vibrant cloud of colors taking over the night sky changing from green to red right before her eyes. She watched in awe and started to draw what she saw.
She never wanted to forget this but was a bit overcome by the beauty to draw all that well. And then all of a sudden she startef to hear her fellow students asking where the professor. She was taken aback and looked around and he was not there. Her mouth dropped hearing some tentacle grabbed her out of nowhere. Wha?
It was not long after before she saw the headmistress arive. Things had gone from amazing to terribly frightening and she was shaking and just wanted to get out of there. She was happy to go back to tje Great Hall with all her classmates like the headmistress ordered cause Oichi knew she was right because it's a lot safer for everyone there where the professors could watch over everyone during this crazy time.

Bliss felt relieved and safer when Headmistress Truebridge arrived and got some sort of order out of everyone. She still felt in shock of what had happened. She knew without a doubt that Professor Burbage was gone, dead. But she didn't say that, not to anyone. It was just a feeling that she had, no one else needed to know about it. Then Headmistress Truebridge asked if anyone had seen what type of plant it was. Bliss bit her lip, for she didn't know the name of it.
"Urmm. Headmistress?" She asked in as strong a voice she could muster up. "I..I think I recognised it. I think I've seen it before." She told the woman and gulp before whispering the last part. "At the opening feast."
There, it was out. She'd said it. She'd had the suspicion right from when she'd seen the plant for the first time earlier. It had the same sort of look to it. Obviously a lot had changed about it, it was scarier now. A lot scarier. But the same feeling that told her than Professor Burbage was dead, told her that that was where she'd seen the deadly plant before.
Bliss gulped and took a step back, unsure whether or not to leave now. The Headmistress might want her to stay now that she had given that little bit of information up. Instead of leaving or staying, she stood out of the way, before someone could talk to her about what she'd said or about moving down to the Great Hall.
SIGH.

Nothing coming back, nobody flying off.... "Dont you know how many famous last words were of those saying things wont happen?" he murmured more to himself than to young Lexa as he allowed Vivi to pull him off the desk. He nodded his head as she repeated the Headmistress' instructions, still extremely wary that they had to exit pretty much through the same door Burbage was dragged out of. But the Headmistress did come in the same way and after a few nervous peek through the doorway and down the stairs to safety he finally agreed they could make a run for it "Right... round up the stragglers.... " but seriously he was tempted to stop by their Common Room just to make sure his stuff was still all there.
No none of that... setting examples and all...
"Alright guys...." he addressed the students in Blue robes "... grab a travel buddy or two and walk quickly out of here. Proceed directly to the Great Hall, do not pass by the Common Room, we dont know whats still in there that caused it to lock up on us in the first place." he said as he hung back, eying each Ravenclaw leaving as he brought up the rear.

Ella had been sitting pretty quietly while the other students handled the job of making decisions and getting help. Truth be told, she was really frightened and she knew if she tried to talk about any of this, she'd probably start to cry or something. Meh. She didn't want to be that girl. Instead she stayed close to Max, shooting him the occasional small smile to let him know she was fine...ish.
The fourteen year old was more than happy to see the Headmistress, even if her comment on the Northern Lights seemed a bit...odd. Really? Sure the lights were pretty but seeing as their Professor had just been old ladynapped, there more important things to handle at the moment. Oh! And they'd gotten into a common room? Ella brightened after hearing this, thinking maybe things weren't as bad as they seemed. Maybe...maybe the Professors would find Burbage too and she'd be okay. Yeah...yeah, she'd be fine.
Making sure she had all of her things, the third year bit her lip and followed the nearest seventh year down to the Great Hall. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad sleeping in there for one more night. At least that way they could have each others' backs.

It is just delivering a message to Professor Bentley right now asking her to come," Kurumi explained. She would have brought up dementors...but now really was not the time.
Like...REALLY not the time.
He supposed he must've meant her patronus. But he didn't know what that was, so... "Yeah, I guess." Delivering a message? "Ohh.." he said, too scared to feel stupid in front of her. He definitely had a lot to learn here at Hogwarts. But count him OUT for the class on first year-eating plants!

Burbage???"

The Headmistress! They were finally safe! Because Pao was confident that, though the seventh years were certainly accomplished, Truebridge would better be able to protect them from any more plant attacks.
Aaaaaand they were going to evacuate the area. HA! he thought, feeling vindicated. Some people Gryffindors had been trying to get them to stay put, one of them even being fairly testy with him about it. But if the Headmistress wanted them out, that was the best plan after all.

No sooner had the instruction to 'buddy up' been given than Pao felt a hand in his own. Alec? No, he was on the other side of... Kurumi! Despite his fear, his little cheeks flushed. "Okay, I will!" Stay close to her? That should be no problem at all. And as for Alec... "Stay close, buddy!" He proffered his hand to the third year.
Ethan glanced down at his hand as Minerva slipped her hand into his and he laced his fingers through hers. Looking back up at her, he nodded solemnly at her words.. she was probably right. If that plant pulled an adult teacher off her desk, was there really a safe spot in the room? Probably not.. though it did make him feel a little better to be holding onto her.
The fifth year looked up hopefully as the Headmistress walked in. Hopefully she could sort things out for them and get some help to Burbage. He felt Minerva's hand leave his as she walked over to her and he headed that way himself. Maybe he could offer something helpful having caught a glimpse of the plant as it pulled the teacher away. But she spoke up and he simply stood by and let her speak.. she had much more personal experience with that plant than he did, so she was more suited to describe it, he thought. And a few more added their thoughts as well.. did the Headmistress not believe them? It certainly seemed that way and Minerva further detailed her experiences. "I caught a glimpse of it as it dragged Professor Burbage away, Headmistress," he offered. "I'm certain there was a vine wrapped around her legs." And he had to agree with Minnie.. if it was the same plant as her experiences, it wasn't devil's snare.. but not too unsimilar. And now the Gryffindor common room was open? That got his hopes up for the Claw CR to open as well.. but maybe one more night in the Great Hall wouldn't be a bad thing..
His eyes snapped to Vickers as he spoke, then he looked at Minnie as students began filing out of the class. "We should go.." he said, taking her hand in his again. He was not letting her out of his sight. Turning his eyes to the exit, Ethan caught a glimpse of a first year Claw climbing off of her desk. He'd have to keep an eye on her too and it didn't look like she had a partner. "Eliza.." he said, inclining his head towards the door and retreating students. "Stick close to us.."

Selina was in utter shock. One minute they were talking about roman mythology and looking at the lights and the next Burbage was dinner. The redhead literally could not think straight. She was rather good at being able to... predict things... but this was something she had not seen. Seriously though, this was horribly random and terrifying. So as the prefects all fumbled around the castle like chickens with their heads cut off, Selina just sat in her seat attempting to process what was going on.
A professor had just been eaten. A very lovely, funny professor had just been eaten. Hogwarts was supposed to be a safe place... WHAT IF BENTLEY WAS NEXT?! HOLY MERLIN SHE WORKED WITH THE PLANTS!
That was when Selina finally stood up and said to no one in particular, more to herself, "What about Bentley?"
....You blink once, and then suddenly everything around you falls into turmoil.
Jake wouldn't blink anymore.
He heard the scream. He saw the professor being dragged off by the flower. He saw everyone around him go crazy... except for one person. Anya. Of course. Frowning, Jake walked over to Anya's desk and tapped her arm. "Anya, get up. Follow Gideon." He motioned to the Prefect. "Unless you want that plant to come back and eat you."
He wouldn't like that. He had a feeling Anya wouldn't either. "So... get up."

"Hmm...?" Anya asked looking up. Why was Gideon talking to her? ...and why was the classroom half empty?
She was TOTALLY in the painting zone, wasn't she?
"... what plant?" she asked. ...yeah. She completely missed something exciting, didn't she? And this time she couldn't even blame it on a crazy lady stealing her time.
"... how did it even get up here?" They were in a TOWER! She then casually grabbed her stuff and her pretty painting.

Eeeh? take him to Professor Lafay if he slept again? Well that was unfair! for her he meant because the woman was certainly not looking good this year, no offence... So hearing those words Daichi lazily decided to do his best in class. Like..painting the sky for whatever reason that would be.
While he was painting, the Slytherin was trying to focus on his *art* when he heard a loud tud coming from somewhere. Thinking it was the Professor again , he was about to whine and say that he was painting when he saw that he had been right about the Professor , but not to the fact that she was being dragged away over the floor by some plant.
Eyes wide, Daichi was fully awake and his mind was on alert mode right now. He heard two people shouting a patronus charm and he looked around to see Gideon and Kurumi next to him waving their wands. Not so long after that Headmistress Meanie entered the room and for a split second he was happy to see her. But then it faded again when he remembered she had slapped Mr.Duckles.
He still followed her instructions of going back to the great hall because he did not want to become plant food. Grabbing his bag , the Slytherin hoisted it over his shoulders and waited until they were going to the Hall.

Merlin's beard, it sounded like the plant really had it out for this Puff! The Headmistress' eyebrows went up up up into her hair the more the girl talked. It seemed there was some truth to her story after all, especially if she had encountered it on numerous occasions... yes, she was going to need to hurry down to the greenhouses STAT to confer with Bentley...
"Thank you dear," she replied in a faint voice as the girl walked away, still troubled to think that a precious plant could be behind the disappearance of one of her favorite people...

It uses vines....? Bunz blinked, still trying to put together in her head WHICH plant this WAS, but nodded to the Gryffindor all the same. Got it, Cambridge.
Should she be taking notes? She hugged her blazer closer to her chest and marched over to the professor's desk, looking for any clues as to Marion's connection with the plant while she waited for the room to empty.

So he was certain, was he? Another witness. Sigh. The Headmistress nodded as the Ravenclaw and the last Slytherin walked out, then quickly jotted down everything everyone had said on one of the parchments lying on Burbage's desk.
Then she, too, exited the room, her eyes wide open for any lingering vines.
