John walked through several benches until he found one that tickled his fancy. He had the Slytherin flag Kennedy had given him, in order to support the snakes. Yes he wasn't happy about it, but his friend had been moping around like a mad man and he just wanted to make his day a lot better.

He sat down as the match was about to begin. This was going to be good! he was very excited as, he was dressed in his favorite superhero Captain America attire.

Go Slytherin?? eh.

Kennedy dragged his feet into the cool air. He didn't feel like being outside, but a certain Gryffindor kept pestering him to get his butt out of his dorm. So he did on one condition...more like two. That they go the Gobstones match and that John cheer for Slytherin.

So, here he was, following John like a lost child until they found suitable seats. Kennedy looked up and noticed the first year from his house. The one that had given him a high five...literally. He looked over at John and then back at the game then back to John. "I wished I had a cookie." He wished he had many stuff.

John sat on the edge of the bench as he placed his elbows on his knees, while resting his hand on his hands. He was concentrating real hard, trying to figure out what exactly was this match or sport about? He had no clue, all he knew was that so far the score was at tie between both houses.

Ken wants a cookie? I must look like the cookie monster, instead of Captain America? John thought to himself as he looked at Kennedy and raised his brows. "I don't have a cookie, bro." he said as he leaned back and pulled out a sugar-free pudding from his pocket and continued trying to figure out what exactly was he looking at?

"Okay what exactly is this?" John asked Kennedy as he was clueless!

Kennedy waited for an answer. He was serious. He was a bit grouchy and he wanted a cookie. Okay, he was acting like a first year, but...whatever. He had a perfectly good excuse somewhere in that brain of his. The Prefect raised an eyebrow. John didn't have a cookie, but he did have pudding. "Can I have the pudding, then?" he asked, eyeing the treat.

His eyes briefly wandered to the match as John asked what this was. "It's Gobstones. It's like that muggle game of marbles, but these spit out putrid liquid at the player who loses a point," he explained. It was a game he was not willing to play.

Not late?

Nope, she was late.

By the time she entered the area, the game had already started. Still though, she'd silently support both teams. Quietly making her way around to one of the benches near the back of the circular structure they were in, Medea sat down, taking note of the few students who came to watch. Eh, she'd make her way more towards the front when there was a break in the game as to not interrupt them.

Time to figure out if she remembered any rules from the games last term.

Ronnie actually didn't really like Gobstones much.

But there wasn't really anything else to do today. And it wasn't like she was going to participate, she was going to watch. Maybe she'd run into a few friends. . .gobstones was pretty popular and most people would probably be down here.

Ronnie plopped down onto a bench, and took out a bag of jellybeans. Ronnie Weasley, always having a bag of jellybeans with her. Merlin, she was obsessed with jellybeans. And all other sweets of course, but jellybeans. . .they were special.

After popping a few in her mouth, Ronnie looked around for any familiar faces. She hadn't come all the way down here just to watch a Gobstones match by herself!

Nigel never watched a Gobstones match before and wanted so see how it was played. To see whether he liked it or not. He saw another boy who was older than him here by himself with jellybeans. Nigel walked over him and introduced himself "Hi I'm Nigel,how are you"

Ronnie looked up as she saw someone walk up. "Oh, hello!" she replied with a smile. "Nice to meet you Nigel, I'm Victoria. But you can call me Ronnie." she said, surprising herself. She had never told anyone her real name before, this was the first time she'd done so. "I'm rather good, how about you?" she asked, patting the spot next to her on the bench so he could sit.

Nigel was listening to her and would never have guessed that her real name was Victoria. But since Nigel did not know her name and nick name is the first place it should not have been surprising. "Hi, Victo , uh i mean Ronnie, this is my first time seeing a Gobstones match how about you" Nigel goes to sit on the bench next to her.

Minerva walked into the viewing area. She wanted to catch the Gryffindor/Ravenclaw game. She noticed she was the first person there which was fine with her. She picked a spot to sit and pulled open her bag. Taking out the book she borrowed from the library that morning she began to read. Since there was no one to talk with and the match hadn't started it was a perfect and quiet place to do some reading.

RAVENCLAW-esome.

YAYYAYYAY.

Blue skipped over to the benchs and plopped down, her head barely visible under her thick cloak. It was cold, okay?!?! One problem was, that she was so wrapped up she was finding it hard to see. HOW WAS SHE GOING TO WATCH RAVENCLAW BEAT THE LIONS IF SHE COULDN'T SEE?!?! Oh it was tragic. So terribly tragic. *mental!sob* Blue wriggled a bit and pulled her whole head through the cloak. YAY. She could see nooooow.

She waved the tiny banner she made, humming, swinging her legs.

What the heeeeeell was Gobstones?

Theodore didn't have a clue but he was bored out of his brains so he thought he'd pop along to watch. It wasn't even a match involving Slytherin!! Oh well... The first year found a seat and pulled out a chocolate frog from his pocket.

Nom nom.

Sigh.

Michelle stepped into the Viewing Area, glad that she wasn't too late for the Gobstones match between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, but happy that she wasn't too early either. She pulled her coat tightly over herself and took a seat. The wind blew against her ears and she shivered. It was going to be fun. She was here to cheer for the Ravenclaw team, and she hoped luck would be in their favour. She smiled and leaned back in her seat.

It's going to be a fun evening.

Minerva looked up from her book and saw that a few students were coming into the area. She smiled always happy other students wanted to cheer on Gobbstones. They all seemed like first years, but that wasn't a bad thing that meant more interest in the sport. "Hello" she said nicely as they all past. She didn't know any of them, but always wanted to be nice and let people know that she was always up for meeting new people.

Chelle grinned as a couple of other students came into the Viewing Area and sat down. So looks like I'm not going to be alone today. She smiled back politely at the Hufflepuff girl who had just said 'hello' to her. "Hey! Having a good time?" she said.

There was BLUUUUUUUUUUUE. Theodore flailed his arms about, "HEY, BLUUUUUUE." He bellowed, spitting parts of his chocolate frog here and there. It was completely necessary that he said hello, though.

And there were two other people, too. Two girls. "Hullo." He said to them both.

But... wait. Was this a GIRLS-EXCLUSIVE event?

Theo looked around, paranoid, then rose to his feet. ZOMG, he was the only boy here. ABANDON SHIP.

Blue smiled shyly at the other girls. "Haaaai."


Okay. So, from what Blue picked up, gobstones was like marbles. Exciting (note the sarcasm). She untied her scarf because it was starting to feel slightly suffocating and that was NOT A FUN TIME. Prolly the most exciting thing that would happen during this event.

Blue turned at the sound of her name, looking for the culprit. How dare they disturb her from her peacefulne- "THEEEEEEOOOOOOOODOOORE." Blue said, her voice slightly muffled because she was still concentrating on trying to untie her scarf. WHY OH WHY HAD SHE TIED IT SO TIGHT? Grr. Blue gave up with an annoyed sigh.

Then she glanced up to see Theodore leaving. WHAT? She didn't wanna be on her own again. "Theeooodore, where are you going?"

Chelle jumped as someone screamed next to her. She turned and saw a Slytherin boy flailing his arms about, spitting contents of his mouth here and there in the process. She grinned at him. "Heya," she said. So there's a LOT of company here.

"Hello to you, too!" Chelle said to the other Ravenclaw. She seemed to be having a slight problem with her scarf. AND she seemed to freak out at the sight of the Slytherin boy. Chelle raised an eyebrow.

What was up with these two blokes?

What was she doing?

Was Blue trying to strangle herself with her scarf? Theodore thought he'd leave her to it.

"This is a GIRL party, isn't it?" No wonder he had never heard of Gobstones before. It wasn't for boys to know about. He walked over to Blue but refused to sit back down. "What is a Gobstone? You can tell me, Blue." He whispered, so that the other two girls wouldn't hear.

Come on. TELL YO BESTIE THE SECRET OF THE CLUB.



Theodore eyed the girl curiously.

Yea, he was onto you. ONTO ALL OF YOU.

These girls were up to something. They were gonna kill him for intruding on their girl party. HE KNEW IT.

Minerva smiled, "Yes I am having a good day, I thought I would do some reading before the match since I was the first to arrive. Have you ever played gobbstones before?" she figured she would see if the girl had any idea what was going on in the game, if not she could always help explain it. There first match went well and she was hoping to see what her competition was going to be like. She laughed a little when she saw the face of the boy realizing he was the only boy so far. She couldn't help but laugh at the first years and their terrified looks when involving the opposite sex. She smiled at the shy girl that said Hello before seeing her talk to the freaked out boy well at least he did talk to girls at some points.

Chelle stared at the boy. He sure was a weird kid. Or was he just acting that way because he was uncomfortable being the only boy among so many girls?
"I'm Chelle, by the way," she said to all three of them. And you guys are strange.

When the Huffleuff girl started laughing, it seemed to ease the tension a bit. Chelle shook her head, answering her. "Nope. I'm a Muggleborn, and I have never heard of Gobstones in my life. I'm just here to cheer Ravenclaw," she said. Then she leaned in closer towards the girl. "By the way, I think we should probably leave these two alone. I have a sneaky feeling that we're ruining their little party," she whispered. Nope, it wasn't as if they had a meeting here. But it sure would make the boy feel a lot better.

"You're a Ravenclaw." Obviously. But Blue felt the need to point it out. "I'm one too." That was obvious too but again Blue felt the need to say it. "I'm Blue." Blue said with a smile to both girls. Twas rude not to introduce herself to everyone, riiiiiight? And Blue was not rude. ...Most of the time.


Okay. One more try.

Blue tried and...and untied her scarf. YAY. Finally. Of course, now her neck was cold. Yes, that was just her luck. But Blue beamed proudly because yes people, this would be in the history books. BECAUSE SHE HAD MANAGED TO UNTIE HER SCARF.

'Cause she was awesome like that.

"Nope. Atleast I don't think so." IF IT WAS SHE HAD JUST GATE CRASHED. Oh gosh. Now, now, don't get paranoid. Darn Theo for getting her all stressed. "Gobstones is like marbles. 'Cept the little ball thingies spit gunk at ye if you miss." Booring, right?

Yup.

Oh, good. So that girl had noticed Chelle was a Ravenclaw. "Yay, we're both Claws!" she exclaimed. That meant they were both cheering the same team? OMG huggie time. "Blue. That's a cool name. I'm Michelle, but as I mentioned earlier, you can call me Chelle," she said, grinning.

Blue finally untied her scarf. As in, she no longer looked like she was trying to strangle herself. Chelle debated in her mind whether she should hoot for her or not. She finally decided against it.

Ah, so that's what gobstones were. "Blimey. That's a cool word to use for something like that, innit?" she said, amused.

SHE WAS STARING AT HIM.



But now she was introducing herself? Sooooo... he guessed she being polite? Oh... Okay. Sheesh, the female species were so up and down. "Hi... erm... I'm Theodore."

She'd gotten her scarf off. WOOOH.

"Why are we the only ones here?" If it was a legit school match, then surely it would be overflowing with students coming to watch. Then again, Gobstones was no Quidditch. OH YEA, Theodore was on a cooler team. He made a face like this when Blue explained what the sport was.

"But... but... that sounds so boring."

For real. Why was he here?

Theodore stared into space.
