After that short stay at the Hospital Wing, Beezus definitely was up to coping with things she had missed during the Feast. She badly wanted to know what new things were built on the grounds but first, she wanted to visit the Ravenclaw dormitory, she'd need to arrange her things first and loitering could be done later.

Beezus pulled her bags, placed it on the her bed, opened it up and started taking out her things. Oh, wait! Where's my bestie? She thought suddenly. Maybe Indy would help her arrange her things? Bleeeeh.

The grounds had been fun. They were so awesome this year. Indy was glad that the duck pond was still there. But she feeling a bit tired now, and was going to head back to to the dorms. Maybe have a little nap. Arrange her bed space. Maybe Beezus would be there. Indy hummed to herself as she wandered into the room. She'd had fun today. And then lessons would be starting tomorrow. And that would be fun. Ooh. Lookie. There was Beezus. "Bestie!" Indy giggled with a big big smile. "You got out of hospital." Which had been good. Indy hadn't seen her since the train ride.

She wandered across, and jumped onto her bed, beaming at her best friend. "I missed you..." She giggled with a smile. Maybe they could arrange their bed spaces together.

She was getting real busy now. From folding her clothes to designating a pile for each, from arranging her books under her small study table to organizing her quills and parchments when all of a sudden, a voice startled her from concentration. Turning, she saw her best friend with a wide smile.

"Where were you?" she asked with a stiff face, trying so hard not to smile or grin. She missed this girl. Even if she can be naive and weird at times, but she was there. Always there, and always ready to lend a hand or ear.

Beezus bit lip, and went back to arraying her things as Indy said that she missed her. "Mmmmhhhhm? Really?" As for now, she was going to play for a bit, she wasn't going to let their first meeting back to become that corny!

Ariana walked into the dormitory, already tired, though she'd barely gotten back to school! She flopped down onto her bed, her eyes closing involuntarily as she sank into the soft mattress. She then opened her eyes quickly, unwilling to let herself fall asleep. She sat up abruptly and gazed around. Just the way she remembered it, scraps of parchment littering the floor and all.

Ariana noticed the presence of the two second- no, now they were third years- in the dormitory as well. She acknowledged them with nods, and said, "Hi Beezus, hi Indy," before she grabbed her notebook- wait, that was her cat. Missy yowled from the uncomfortable squeezing, and struggled until she was put down.

She grabbed her notebook- for real this time- and a quill, and set off writing and sketching, just like usual.

Where was she? Indy shrugged, leaning off her bed, and opening up her trunk. She needed to get her clothes out, and all of her other stuff. And stick those pictures up. "In the grounds." Yup. They were cool. Maybe she'd go back out there after dinner. That would be nice. Beezus could come too. "There's a playground...!" That made Indy so happy. On the top of her trunk she'd laid out all her bed side stuff, and so pulled out her pictures. "It was so cooool." She giggled, as she put little bits of blue tac onto the photo of her and Spike and stuck it up. She so needed to learn the non permanent sticking charm.

"Of course...." She grinned, turning back to stick her tongue out at Beezus. "I had to spend my first night back away from my bestest friend ever. It was so horrible." She tried to do a pout, but just ended up giggling instead. Oh. Ariana was here. Indy smiled at her. "Hiii."

Oh. She already strolled around? Beezus was almost done arranging her things now. Only her undergarments left. Heh. And no, even if she loved Indy she wasn't going to show it to her so she hurriedly closed her trunk and pushed it under her bed.

A playground? N'awww. "I bet you totally enjoyed there." She said, smirking. Well, because Indy was just a bit childish. They were third years now and she can still see her best friend carrying her teddy around. Not that she had any problem with it, in fact she enjoyed it. She was too serious sometimes and the someone like Indy was what she needed to get a hold of herself.

She sat on the bed just in time for Indy to put up a picture of her and her brother. "Hmm...I really like Spike's hair you know," And it was followed by a giggle. Well, she did like Spike a bit. Heh.

That next bit that Indy said..She was just like Erin. Well, she did miss Erin but she's very thankful to have Indy right now. It just warmed her heart and it made her smile, so wide. "I missed you too. Spending the first night is horrible too, but I'm glad that I'm here now." Oh, she wanted to hug this girl!

"I did." Indy nodded with a big smile. It had been so nice out there. She had enjoyed seeing Daichi at the duck pond too. But she wasn't going to tell Beezus that. Then she'd have to talk about how she hadn't really liked that other girl being there. And Indy still didn't really understand that. So she was keepingn quiet about that. Indy would consider telling her best friend when she understood it a bit more. "We'll have to go there together." And play on the swings. That would be fun. And go to the duck pond too. Or just go all over the grounds. Yup. That would work. Indy would like that. She liked the grounds a lot.

"you do?" Indy asked, as she pulled her blanket out of her trunk, and shoved it at the end of the bed. Hopefully the tower wouldn't get too quiet but she was prepared. "It seems messy....you know he keeps his tarantula in there right?" Matilda was nice. But she wouldn't like keeping a spider in her hair. Indy shrugged, and put some more photographs up on her wall.

"Well dont go back there..." Indy mused with a smile, as she watched her best friend. She really didn't want Beezus ending back up in the hospital. So she'd be looking after her too.

Hmmm.. So what else did she miss? The Feast? The new first years and transferees who were sorted? The new features of the Grounds? What else? "We really have to." Yes, she'd be fuddling with her schedule just to make time for Indy and her to stroll the grounds.

"By the way..who did you go to the Grounds today?" Beezus asked her. Because well, Indy wasn't really the type who liked loitering the castle alone.

O____o A spider on Spike's head? "REALLY? That's...awesome." Wow. She didn't know about that. And that was just unbelievable but certainly epic. Hmm..Maybe she should talk to Spike and find out for herself if it was true? She stared at the pictures her best friend kept placing above her bed. Indy was really lucky to have a good family.

"Then you should always remind me to take my medicine." she replied when Indy said she didn't like her being in the Hospital Wing. She didn't like staying there too. It was very creepy.

"Tomorrow after lesosns?" Indy suggested, as she finished putting her photos up on the wall. Perfect. Now she just needed to put her clothes away. She could do that later though. Or just leave it in her trunk. That could work too. She didn't really mind too much. Her mom only told her to put her uniform into the draws. Because then it would not get creased, which was a very good thing. Oh. Beezus was asking her who she had gone with. Well she could hardly lie to her best friend really.

Indy though about it for a few seconds. Then decided that she may as well tell her. "Daichi." She mused with a smile. "We wanted tot make sure the duck pond was still there....it is." She nodded with a bigger smile. "I'm glad." Because the ducks were cool. And Daichi liked the duck pond. so it was all really good. Indy would be going down there a lot more often this term. Totally so she could see Daichi too. hehe.

"Err yeah.....she's called Matilda." Indy was okay with the spider. She did love the thing, but she didn't absolutely hate it either. That was okay though. "I will....you can trust me beste." Indy giggled with a big smile.

Tomorrow after lessons? Hmmm.. Beezus tapped her chin, trying to think if she had something to do the next day. "I think that's a good time. I guess I'm free." Well, she can just go visit Professor Seren before classes starts, or the next day would do. It really didn't need rushing. Professor Bentley was always at her office if not the Greenhouse.

"Daichi?" she repeated. Indy knew that duck maniac? SERIOUSLY? "Oh..that's good to know." She wasn't really fond of the Duck Pond, and Daichi..she was still in not good terms with him. She really should talk about him about that incident the day before last term ended. "Just the two of you?" No, she didn't want to entertain the idea of her best friend going out with that guy. He was dangerous, for Merlin's sake!

Pwew. And the spider even has a name. Beatrice giggled. "I want to meet Matilda." she declared all of a sudden. Sometimes, she gets interested with those kind of creepy things. Snakes, spiders. Pfft.

"You think you're free?" Indy mused with a frown, as she lay down on her bed, turning slightly so that she could still see her friend. What was Beezus doing that made her only think she was free? Indy grinned at her. "What have you been doing to get so busy....we've only been here one day." Indy giggled, grinning at her best friend. Indy was not busy at all. The only committed plans she had were to lessons. Sort of. She still kind of wanted to ditch herbology and go to the playground. But she loved herbology and she loved Professor Bentley. So she was not going to ditch herbology.

"Yup Daichi." Indy nodded with a big smile. She liked her duck loving friend. He was very nice. And she would be seeing him again. Wait. Why did her friend want to know if she had been alone with him. "Not really..." The way the two of have them had been talking they may aswell have been. "There was another girl there too...but i can't remember her name." Yup. She'd been playing that much attention clearly.

....

Beezus wanted to meet Matilda. Indy just stared at her friend, before she giggled a bit. "I shall inform my brother."

"Why of course. I've been signing up for quite a few long term activities. The one on the library, the one on the Magical Creatures Sanctuary, that one on Herbology." Yeah..she was one active little Ravenclaw. And she wanted to join more.
"Not to mention that I still have to visit some of the Professors." Well, because Professors were fun to visit. They were not all strict-y when they were in their offices.

She stood up and slumped on Indy's bed, crossing her legs as she bounces a bit. "Hmmmm....so you're good friends with Daichi?" She was hoping Indy would say no. Please say no. She didn't want Indy near Daichi. That boy might kill her best friend! And another girl? She wondered who that was. But she wasn't going to ask since Indy already said she didn't know the girl.

"Really?" Pweeeew. Now there was something she should get excited about. "Thanks bestie!" And she pinched Indy's cheeks gently. She knew her best friend didn't like her doing that. But she liked getting Indy annoyed so she didn't have a choice.

Marie walked into the room, exhausted. Today had been a really long day. Fun, exciting, but very long. She noticed a couple girls talking and thought, what the hey.

She walked up to them, "Hi I'm Marie Faris."

"Ooooh....I've signed up for those tooo." Indy giggled with a big smile. She was looking forward to this term. There was so much to do. So it was going to be so amazing. "Theres gonna be a book club too...." So that should be cool too. Indy loved reading, so a book club was just going to be the icing on the cake for her third year. She was so looking forward too it. "Why? Can't you just see them in class?" Indy would never understand why her friend liked seeing all of the professors. It was wierd. Indy just talked to them in class. Sometimes she would go see her favorite professor. But she didn't really see that happening this term. Seeing as the professor wasn't here anymore.

Was she good friends with Daichi? Indy thought for a few moment, blushing a little bit. "Yeah..." She nodded with a big smile. "He's awesome." He really was. Indy liked her new friend a lot. She smiled at her friend. "Why? Do you know him?" She mused. It would be nice if her friend did knew her friends. Then they could all hang out together. That would be fun. If Beezus was friends with Daicih, she would so suggest that they go out together and have fun and stuff.

....

Why did her friend have to go and spoil it by pinching her cheeks. Indy pouted, knocking her friends hand away. "I won't ask him if you keep doing that."

"Yes! I did sign up for that one too.." Beezus replied. "And we were going to have a Book Meeting right? Err...tomorrow I think?" Or the next day? She has really got to see the Notice Board and confirm it for herself. She wanted to join, badly. And they say that the new Librarian was nice too, so that made it more exciting.

"So...do you have a book that you'd bring?" Because she did not have one. No one told her that a book of their choice was to be brought at the Start of the Term so she was hoping Indy could lend her one and they can go attend the Meeting together!

Can't see them in class? "Well..bestie, Professors in and out of class are just different. Most of them are too strict during lessons. Besides, I've got to tell personal things to some of them," such as Professor Bentley. Yeap, she really needed to see her favorite Professor!

"Daichi's awesome?" WAS SHE KIDDING? This was bad. So bad. it seemed like Indy liked Daichi. NOOO! "Uhh. yes. i know him. We're.......friends." But they never have talked again since the incident. That made her wonder if they are still friends. Oh well.. And Indy still got annoyed when she pinched her cheeks. "Alright. Stopping." She said with a giggle and placed her hands on her lap.

Haley walked into the dorms, she looked around remembering the familiar scent and look of the dorms. She took in a deep breath and smiled. She felt like she was home at Hogwarts again and it was amazing. She looked around for an empty bed and threw her trunk down in front of it. Haley then proceeded to plop down on her bed and rest.

Presley felt so relieved to be back. She felt that the older she got the more trying her summers were and the more happy she was to be back in a place that she had once called "children-prison" to her father. Having just finished a couple of lessons on the first day Presley went up to her dormitory to get some reading in before Arithmancy. She definitely needed to study for that above all else. She'd never been good at it and that had been a source of frustration in her life, but she was a Black, and she would make it happen.

"We are" Indy nodded with a big smile. She was really looking forward to the book club meeting. She loved reading, and was hoping to get some ideas of waht book she could read, because she didn't only just read her text books. It would be fun, and hopefully lots of students would come, and they would all have fun. Well Indy was sure she would have fun if her best friend was coming. It was nice to have stuff to do with Beezus out side of lessons. It would be fun.

"I do." Indy grinned at her friend. "But you'll find out what is it tomorrow..." She mused with a smirk at her friend. She loved the book that she had picked, but was going to keep it a secret for now. Indy was good at keeping secrets. Kind of. She had wanted to keep the duck pond thing away a secret, but that hadnt really worked too well. But Indy would just pretend that wasn't meant to be a secret.

"He is.....he has a teddy too!" She beamed with a big smile. Anyone who had a teddy had to be awesome. And Indy quite liked Daichi. Although she still wasn't too sure why she had had that weird feeling when she had seen Daichi with another girl. She ignored that though. She shouldn't have been thinking about Daichi when she was with his bestie. "goood..." She smiled as her friend said she would stop. "It hurts."

Heh. She was really looking forward to that Book Club Meeting. Then maybe they could lend each other their books? That would be awesome. Though, she still needed to find a book for her. Maybe her Aunt had propped a few inside her trunk before she left? OIh, she hoped so.

Beezus raised an eyebrow. Why did she have to wait until tomorrow to see the book? Was it a kind that would only open up on an appropriate date? "I don't really get it. Why tomorrow? You can just show me now." Seriously? Why was she keeping her book a secret to her? Her? The best friend? Whyyyyy? Did Indy not trust her?

Now, she was eyeing her. She sounded TOO enthusiastic talking about Daichi. TOO lively, like she was really happy that Daichi and her got to stroll at the grounds together. "I thought he just had a duck? Now he's also got a teddy?" Pfffttt..They didn't need teddy bears anymore. They were already third year and Merlin! Daichi was a fourth year. They were old enough not to play with those kind of toys.

But heck, she wasn't going to let Indy hear that. Little Hutchinson might kill her.

Okay. She really was stopping now. She was getting hungry too. Hmmm, wonder what their dinner was going to be.

Haley noticed the girl that had just walked in. Haley was bored and had nothing to do currently. So she simply smiled at her as she walked in and said "Hello". She then noticed the girl was going to study and didn't want to disturb her so Haley continued to lay on her bed and do nothing.

Presley looked up in surprise at hearing an unfamiliar voice greet her. She didn't recognize the girl, but smiled anyway. "Hello." She wondered if the girl was new, but supposed she shouldn't ask, just in case she wasn't. It might be rude. She would simply have to ask around and find out in other ways. "I'm Presley," There, she was being good and introducing herself first. "Good to be back, isn't it?" Presley asked, making a split-second decision to find out whether the girl had been going here for years.

Haha. Beezus didn't get it. That just made Indy giggled lots. They might have been ravenclaws, but it was obvious that maybe Beezus wasn't that clever. Hehe. Well. Not on this anyway. Indy giggled a bit more, grinning at her best friend. "Because it is a secret!" She nodded with a big smile. It wsa a big big secret. And she wasn't going to be telling anyone about it till they got to the book club. It was partly because she hoped that nobody would have the same book as her, because that really would be a little embarrassing.

"You'll find out tomorrow" She grinned at her. Yup. So Indy was being a bit mean, because she really could not be nice all the time. So. Maybe she would be working on her meanness a little. Hehe. Not to her best friend all the time. Because that would be a bit too mean. And she loved her best friend, so she didn't really want to be mean all the time.

"noo....it's his duck..." Indy just called all plush toys teddys really. Indy loved her teddy. She had lots more at home, but this year had just brought Pink Ted with her. She knew it was a bit babyish to have teddys, which was part of the reason why she had left the rest at home. Pink Ted was special to her though, so he did come along with her. He was staying in her dorm most of the time, but he was here. And that was all that mattered.

"Why is it a secret?" She sneered, pouting. Why, her best friend was hiding secrets from her. "Why are you hiding a secret from me? I don't....hide anything from you." Well...a few. But if Indy would ask, then she would tell her without leaving out anything. Or, maybe she would. It really depends.

As of now, she was just going to pressure Indiana. Maybe she'd give up and tell her?

And speaking of which, she really has to squish out from her best friend all about Daichi. "I thought you said it was a teddy? But it's a duck?" She asked with a confused face. Meh, the perks of being obsessed with ducks. She can just remember how Daichi's duck had caused all the trouble last term. Thankfully, it was the last day of the term and the Professors didn't really minded the torment they have done.

"Oh..and what else did you guys do?" Beezus inquired. Curiosity was a talent and she was planning to use it productively.

Charley slumped on her bed, lying down flat on her back, glaring up at the ceiling. She was in one of her moods. One of her bad moods. She often had very pathetic reasons for these moods- and in this case, it was the third year boy who had laughed at her when she dropped her books. Well she had gotten back at him. Immediately exploding in a frenzy of every curse she knew, she had quickly picked up her books, and ran straight up to the dormitery. She was tired- as well as angry.

How dare he laugh at her? Was it because she was a girl? Because she was small? Because she was new? Or simply because she had been victim to a moment's misfortune? She didn't care. He had paid dearly for it, and she smirked as she thought about the sound of his exclamation of surprise, and then the heavy thud as he fell back against the wall behind him. She stroked her wand, then tucked it under her pillow. She sat up on her bed, her long black hair tumbling down her back, dark eyes darting around the room, daring anyone to approach her.
