Ahhhh perfect! She was back in the common room! Aurora collapsed into one of the sofas in front of the huge green fire and smiled happily to herself. She had missed how comfortable these sofas were... not that her sofas at home were anything but plush and comfy, but they weren't quite the same. Aurora loved the common room for some reason... She chuckled slightly as Sebastian appeared - apparently from the girls dorms where he was probably sleeping on her bed - and jumped into her lap, curling up and purring loudly. She began to scratch the fluffy white cat behind the ears and sank even further into the sofa, already anticipating how much fun she was going to have this year.

At least they didn't have to dragged their suitcases to the common rooms. With backpack hanging on one shoulder, the blonde made his way into the Slytherin common room after being pointed by one of the old students. The common room looked a lot better than Hades expected. The best part was the windows. Their common room was under the lake, thus they can always see what was under the lake. Perhaps he might even see a fully grown grindylow someday.

At the sofa, he saw a girl with fiery red hair scratching her cat. Throwing his bag on the sofa across her, Hades settled down next to his bag. "What's it's name?" enquired the boy gently. He always loved cats. Better cats than owls, like how he preferred Neil over that bloody Panda.

"HELLOOOO SLYTHERINS!" Selena exclaimed, beaming at all and whoever may passed by. Yes, she had a SHINY badge this term and all and was it already getting to her head? Psht. No. She didn't even have a shiny crown to prove she was going to rule the universe yet so she was simply going to have to DEAL wasn't she? Ah, it definitely felt so much better to be here back in Hogwarts as opposed to being stuck in an empty estate. There was always Diagon Alley but... it soon lost excitement and all after the first week or two. her cruppy, Clarke, was fast asleep after eating so much at the feast and Kent was still stuck to her head. Well, just being balanced. Selena was quite alright with that as she flopped onto a couch - the never-ending one.

Hades was surprised by the sudden exclamation, but he was more surprised to see a sparkly badge with a capital "P" on it. She can't be! :whaa: "I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" called out the transferee with both hands raised as if he was surrendering. Did she find out that he dropped those stink pellets under the Ravenclaw's chair? She couldn't have...

Raven just entered the common room after she visited the lake. She heard someone exclaimed loudly. Oh the tiny girl with a shiny badges.

WAIT, THE SHINY BADGE? SHE IS A PREFECT? :whaa: how could a tiny girl became a prefect? But she hoped the little prefect could bring them to get the triple threepeat, and she looked nicer than Evelyn.

"You're a new prefect, eh?" asked her doubt. "Eng.. Congratulations." said Raven

Ahh the common room, the best, so awesome, always a great spot to read at, and hopefully no one would interrupt.

She looked at all the lovely people who were there, Selena, Raven, girl and boy... WAIT BACK UP!!! Is that an awesometastic shiney badge saying P on Selena? IT IS! "Sel your prefect!!! Why was I not told this!!" Katie said as she hugged her friend, she had missed Selena, she hadn't seen her in, forever? yup that sounded about right."CONGRATS! WE MUST HAVE A PARTY!" Katie smiled letting go of her friend.

She looked at the others, "Hey Raven and people I don't know, I'm Katelyn" She waved and smiled brightly, she was way to happy to be back in the common room, but not only was she in the common room she was meeting new people! Yay!

Aurora glanced up as someone sat down opposite her and spoke. "Sebastian." she said, and the fluffy white cat glanced up at his name. Meeooooow.
"I'm Aurora." she said as Sebastian jumped off her lap and started to play with the boy's shoelaces. "And he likes shoelaces." she added, grinning.

A smile on Hades' lips as the cat jumped off to play with his shoelaces. He scratched the under the cat's chin, causing it to pur. "I'm Hades. Hades Vaughn," as in Hades the God of War. Of course, he wasn't a fan of wars because he preferred peace.

"I've a cat too. Neil. Pity I didn't bring him along," because he already had Panda. Next term, he was going to leave the bloody bird and bring the cat instead. No more large rodents for the owl! Then, another girl came in screaming at the prefect. They seemed to know each other. "Nice meeting you, Katelyn. I'm Hades," the boy made another self-introduction.

"Hey Katelyn." she greeted the girl and smiled. She almost forgot that she was also the Slytherin, because she just met her at the lake, talking about the practice for Quidditch tryouts.

"Doing some fun, huh?" she asked. Then Raven noticed to the only boy in the common room, he didn't looked familiar, but he was too older to be a firsties. Maybe he was a transfer student?

"I've never saw you before." she started the conversation to the boy. "Are you new here?" she asked again.

Selena was alarmed and even jumped a little as she heard a boy claim he didn't do anything. What didnt he do? The pygmy puff on her head shivered, rolled over and fell onto the couch. Selena then placed her cruppy gingerly on the leather seat, careful to not wake the creature up. "I didn't say you did anything," she said, smirking slightly. But now she did. "Whatchu do?" Sel asked, pulling out a sugar quill and biting down on it.

Selena could HEAR the doubt in the girl's voice. She was the new prefect. Obviously. She had a shiny badge and all that stuff. Well, really all she had was the shiny badge. "Yepperroo, that would be me," Selena said, beaming at her. Prefect Z! Woot. Pure epicalness and all that. "Thank you!" she added. Because it was the NiCE thing to do as an amazing leader.

But... "Who are you?"

Selena was crushed as Katie hugged her and Clarke immedoately woke up, unhappy and in search of someone's shoes to chew on. Selena just started to giggle hugging Katie back. "I didn't see you this summer," Selena replied, still smiling from ear to ear. Party? "Will there be food?" Selena wouldn't be satisfied if there was no food at said party.

With girls started to swarm into the common room, Hades thought where had the boys been to while having the lovely red velvet cupcake his mother baked earlier this morning. It wasn't as warm and fluffy, but it should do it. He looked as he was musing, but it was just an act to avoid another girl. He knew way too many girls already! Unfortunately, it didn't work since there was a girl addressing.

She looked very young. Hades bet she was between eleven to thirteen years of age. "Mhm," he replied at the same time chewing the cupcake. "Fourth year transferee, Hades Vaughn," answered he fully after swallowing the tiny bite of cupcake he took.

Eh... She didn't know what he did? Crikes! That meant he got it wrong. Now what should he do? A lie, yes. A good white lie. "A kid, maybe a firstie tripped over my legs when I was stretching. I apologised, but he still ran off crying," that should do it. There wasn't a need to cover too extreme.

Eliza made her way to the Common Room. The Slytherin Common Room to be precise. Even more precise HER Common Room. The Common Room she would have for the next seven years. It was beautiful, there was a huge fireplace and a general greeny glow about the room. Everywhere you looked there was the Slytherin emblem, one of Eliza's favourite symbols in the world. She felt at home, after all the decor didn't differ too much from her own home. For a moment that excitement flashed through her face, that she was at Hogwarts, that she was in Slytherin and that she was a witch. This was going to be so awesome. She let the moment pass and arranged her face into her signature, elegant, nonchalant, I-am-the-best kind of smile and settled herself on a long sofa.

Tahnee stepped into the common room with a look of awe on her face. Wow. She was really here. Her brother had told her stories from his time at Hogwarts and now she was actually there! She couldn't believe her eyes. The common room looked even better than Daniel had made it sound. She could see fish swim by the windows and the crackling fireplace made the room seem even nicer.

Coming in closer, she noticed a girl who looked about her age- but much more confident- sitting on one of the cushy looking sofas. Tahnee walked closer and sank into a couch across from the girl. Hi, she said, smiling widely at the girl. It was hard to contain her excitement of being at Hogwarts!

Yeah. She was the prefect. At first Raven thought that she was the first year who found the prefect badge. Then, Raven introduced to her who she was.

"I'm Raven Charlotte, 2nd year already." and taller than you. she just wonder how can she became a prefect, because Raven rarely saw her in class.

Oh, he was the transferee student. Raven rarely met any transferee students in her first year.

"Well, Welcome to Hogwarts." said her. "I'm Raven, second year." she continued, she didn't know whether Hades noticed her, because he was very busy with his fluffly red velvet cake.

Ariana Stormed into the Common room, she wasn't in the moods for talking or looking for any friends, first day back & she was already upset. she instead headed straight for the girls dorm room.

Eliza was still a bit absorbed in her own thoughts when they were interrupted. Eliza looked up to see another girl, probably of her age, who had tanned skin and light brown hair down to her shoulders. She was pretty. Eliza wouldn't always admit it but she was vain. She loved her appearance; she was tall and slim and had pale skin, (nearly but not quite) waist length silvery-blonde hair and bright sapphire eyes. In fact, she'd always liked to think of herself as a fine specimen, especially her being a pureblood. She was always slightly intimidated when she saw people who were just as, if not prettier than her. Not that she'd ever admit that, mostly not even in her head. "Hi" she replied, then added "I'm Eliza, you are?" It wasn't till afterwards that she realized it sounded a bit sharp, but she couldn't help it, that was how her family was.

"Cool name." said Aurora, grinning. "Like the Greek god guy?" or was it Roman..? Eh, one of them. She glanced at Sebastian - self-proclaimed god of shoelaces. "He'll love you forever now." she said. Yeah, 'Bastian was a very friendly kitty.

Woo! More cats! "Why didn't you bring him?" she asked, pulling her knees up to her chest and tucking her feet under her robes. "Sebastian could do with a few friends of his own kind." Not that she had a problem with his friendliness: she just felt bad that there weren't many other cats in the Slytherin common room for him to play with...

Zhenya had just come out of the dorms when she saw two things. First something very shiny, and secondly, her friend Raven.

"Oh, congratulations on becoming prefect! she said. "I'm Zhenya And I'm a second year!"she said.

Zhenya walked up to where Raven was, "hey Raven! How are you?" she asked.

Tahnee was a bit taken aback by the girl's snappy response, but she decided she wasn't going to let it ruin her good mood; she decided to ignore it. Smiling, she stuck out her hand across the table between their two couches. I'm Tahnee! Nice to meet you, Eliza! Are you a first year? Eliza was very pretty. She looked like the type of girl you saw in the fashion magazines. Tahnee smoothed down her hair self-consciously as the girl's long silvery blonde hair fell in ripples down her back as she moved. Like something out of a shampoo commercial, Tahnee thought to herself.

Eliza leant out to shake her hand and then lay back on the sofa. "Nice to meet you too" she said in a considerably nicer tone. Don';t you want to make friends? Be nice! Eliza's head told her. "Oh, yes, I'm a first year too. Aren't you happy you got Slytherin?" she asked. Eliza was. It was pretty much all she'd ever wanted for the first eleven years of her life.

Tahnee relaxed as the girl's tone got gentler. Yes! I was so excited, because my brother was a Slytherin too, and he's told me all these stories about how great it is to be a Slytherin. My mom and dad were both Slytherin as well! So I guess you could say we're a legacy, whatever that means, she said with a giggle. She lay back in the comfy pillows and pulled her legs underneath her, settling in. These couches were a lot more comfortable then she had thought when she first saw them!

"Yeah, my whole family has been in Slytherin, so I really wanted to be. Besides they would kind of kill me if I wasn't." She replied. The sofa was comfy, as it was pretty empty she streched her legs out and laid back, getting comfier. "So your brother was a Slytherin?" she asked.

Hannah finally made it to the common room. She thought it looked great, but of course it should she was standing in the common room of the snakes. It was nicely decorated as any common room should be. She wondered what the other common rooms like like. She thought of Hufflepuff and dasies suddenlt came to her mind. She smirked to herself and noticed a familiar voice. She turned her head and noticed Eliza who she had met at the feast. "Hey there....finally made it huh? I didn't think the feast was ever going to end."

"Yeah, me too, food was good though" she smiled. "The Common Room is cool isn't it? I wonder what the others look like?" she thought aloud as she watched a mermaid swim past the window. That was slightly..... scary. Though being under the lake was cool, it made the room glow green.
