This was odd! No one there? WHAT? Oh Merlin they were playing jokes on her or somthing the common room was empty!?!?! She lay back on her favourite chair and blinked that was... odd... she put her feet up looked around again and started reading she had to enjoy the peace.. as it lasted!

Nate walked into the common room ahead of Pam and Jez, headed straight for the couch. There was, strangely, only one other person in there. Huh. At least she wasn't occupying the couch that Nate so often had claimed the previous term.

As he approached the couch, something new caught Nate's eye. "Is that zebra skin?" he said to himself, approaching the stripy pelt. Now there was no other choice: he had to check. So, Nate being Nate, he went up and felt it. It definitely had the stripes, but it felt more plush than a skin. "Sort of," he conceded. I guess it's technically a blanket, yes, but it looks like zebra skin... he told himself as he sat down right atop the black and white distraction.

Nate gave a smile and a "Hello!" to the other person in the room as he reclined, in wait of Pam and Jez. They had to talk about Nate's fainting spell at the feast. Meanwhile, it was just wait. They'd be up soon enough.

EMMM? WHAT THE HECK WAS HE DOING O_________________o Zebra skin? What the heck? What zebra skin? It was called a blanket!!! ''I sincerly doubt that,'' she replied like it was normel, that was being quite nice considering he was talking about zebra skin, she flicked through the book again, then closed it! NO, She really needed an answer on Zebra skin boy! ''So eh why do you ask?'' and care...

''Haii,'' Wait he was the boy that fainted at the Ravie table! Was it a habbit of his then? So much for drama free year at Hogwarts huh? She decided to keep that one to himself since it wasn't one to disscuss! Especially if he didn't want to talk about it and that would be a normel answer wouldn't... Then again after that

One part of Jez was screaming for sleep, even though she'd had enough of that on the train, but a bigger part was dying to know why Nate had fainted, and exactly how she could prevent it from happening again. So when she saw him on a couch in the common room, she replotted her course to the dorms and went to sit down in a armchair beside him. "Hey," she said, smiling. "You know, we'll have to put a sign up on this couch. 'Reserved for Nathaniel Stone'." She folded her legs into the chair and rested her head on the arms, looking at Nate. "So, I still haven't gotten full details about that fainting episode. Care to fill me in?" She felt very guilty that she hadn't been there for him ...

"Jez! You look wiped out," Nate started. Jez did look seriously tired, almost like she had already been fighting or something. "You haven't been to the Room of Requirement already, have you?" he asked, slightly concerned. She should've learned from that time that she nearly got mauled by a copy of herself: don't go without Nate. Whatever, Jez will be Jez. he thought. Shifting over onto his stomach so his face was closer to Jez's. He had to explain his fainting, after all.

"Well, I'm suspicious. I mean, when someone faints they don't usually feel better when they wake up. More often they feel worse. So what could have caused me to black out?" he asked. Way to start off an explanation with a question, Nate...

Harvey entered the common room.. and it felt like he had never left.. sure he was missing not having that one person here with him.. but she was allowed to be on her own in her own common room for a while.. no need to suffocate her with his presence.. as he looked around the room he saw a few recognisable faces from last year.. Jez, Nate, and Luna "Hey guys.. good to see you all back.." he said to all of them.. he hadnt seen them over the summer.. but had heard rumours so was not going to ask in case they were true..

LuLu looked down at her book again and started reading.. AGAIN! LuLu looked up MORE people atleast Harvey wasn't being awkward... Like the other fellow! That's what she got for enjoying peace wasn't it but she didn't mind having a chat or two she deserved it.... Right? ''Hey,'' she smiled and looked down at her book again before closing it ''Have a good summer,'' anything would be better than hers...

Laura walked into the common room. WOW!!!!This was the ravenclaw common room.It was simply beautiful!!!! She looked around dreamily and went and sat on one of the sofas.

It was then that she saw Harvey. She waved a hi and gave him a friendly smile.

Jez smiled tiredly. "You know me too well. Don't worry, I didn't try to kill myself this time." She knew he was worried that she'd end up doing just that out of plain recklessness, but she couldn't help going to that room. It was like a Summoning Charm was pulling her to it or something.
Jez titled her head to one side, observing Nate thoughtfully. "Do you remember what happened before you fainted?" she asked. "Did it feel like something was invading your mind, pushing you away? Because that could be a sign of Legilimency, or even that you're being possessed. Long-range Legilimency is extremely difficult, though, the person would have to be relatively near you for it to be that successful ..." She trailed off. "But that doesn't explain the whole 'feeling good' part," she muttered. She'd never heard of that being a side effect to being possessed or the subject of Legilimency. Actually she'd heard of victims of the former throwing up after their ordeal. So why was Nate's case different?

Alex entered the Ravenclaw common room. "Wow", she thought to herself. The room was very impressive. She was going to enjoy spending time here. There were a few other students in the room, but the were clearly not first years. They appeared to be in deep conversation and she was reluctant to interrupt.

Alex gave a very shy "hi" to all and sat down at one of the tables. She was feeling rather awkward so she decided to do what made her most comfortable, read. She took out one of her school books and got started. Hopefully, Melanie and Silvia would come soon.

Harvey smiled as Luna said hi.. so he went over to her.. "Hey Luna.. oh! yeah.. as was to be expected.. this being the wizarding world and stuff" he said as he thought about him looking for Minnie all over Diagon Alley with no luck "but yeah it was good in the end.." as he remembered the day they found her and the wonderful moments they spent afterwards and knew there were more to come.. "How about yours?" he asked.. nothing much to tell about his so.. might as well know others summers even though he didnt want to in case it was hurtful like his was in the beginning..



Harvey looked around as he heard more people come and saw Laura "Hey Laura.. welcome home!" he said to her chuckling.. well it was their home for the next 6 or 7 years.. and he didnt mind one bit..

Oh! This girl was new here too.Laura could tell that from her shy 'hi'. She approached her and took a seat next to her. She said 'Hi I'm Laura..second year..joined this year'



Well yeah..this was going to be her home for the next 6 years. She hoped the saying 'home is made of hearts' would come true..'Well yeah..Hogwarts is gonna be my home for the next 6 years and I don't mind that at all..since I love it here!!!,' she said.

To the other two girls whom harvey was talking to she said 'Hiya..I'm Laura..second year..'

Harvey smiled at Laura.. "Well thats good Laura.. and I can tell you that you have only just got started here.. wait for the classes to start and stuff.. everyone hanging outside.. oh you will love it even more." he said smiling as he recalled his first year here.. dramatic but he wouldnt change the ending for the world.. it was the ending he had been hoping would happen and now that it had happened he was happy.. he watched as Laura introduced herself to Luna..

Laura smiled. 'I'm sure about that, Harvs...'. Needless to say, laura was enjoying Hogwarts.

As was to be expected? Since when did harvey use words like that???? Weird ''Great, i'm glad all fixed it self,'' If he was doing it she could give it a shot! HOW about mine the question she was dreading ''WELL... I wasn't supposed to go to Hogwarts this year I was supposed to go somewhere else because I live with my grandparents now and they don't like Hogwarts anymore but I didn't want to then I went to Greece and all was well,'' she said this all very quickly so she breathed, basically she wasn't going to Hogwarts and she was and then she went to Greece to finish it off! All very conffusing but she wanted this done with since she DID NOT like summer... ''Anyways how're you,''



''Haii,'' she turned to the girl Harvey was talking to... second year? Awwch.. she smiled at her! She was defently knew she knew all the second years.. to look at anyways not always to talk to ''I'm LuLu and you are?,''

Harvey smiled.. wait did she just call him Harvs? yes she did.. so he had another friend who called him Harvs.. eh... who was he to complain "So what did you think of your first feast at Hogwarts? One of many!" he smiled.. there were going to be some new Claws soon just like Laura to meet.. it would weird but nice to be welcoming Claws to Hogwarts



Harvey listened as he always did "Well I am glad you returned.." he said smiling "Well I am good.. feels good to be back here.. I hope you are well and good too" he said to her.. he didnt like friends of his being anything less than that..

Vlimia had climbed the long spiral staircase up to the Common Room, and was a little out of breath when she arrived. At least she would get good exercise here, but she had a lot of questions. Maybe a prefect or even an older student was there to help her? Oh well. Vlim sat down on a cushy chair near the fireplace, finding her copy of Hogwarts, A History. Vlimia opened it to where her green bookmark had saved her place. She began to read the chapter on Ravenclaw house, and got very interested in the diadem. There wasn't very much about the diadem in the book, probably because it was written before the Wizarding War. She could hopefully ask the History of Magic teacher about it when lessons started.

Oh my gosh! The Common Room. Erin was awesometastically baaaaack!

Erin was truthfully back to her real home. Hogwarts and Ravenclaw. All the negative aura from her summer was now slowly fading and all the positive ones, Erin should absorb them all. Welcome back.

Pam sighed as she walked in. She lagged behind the others after the feast. She was too tired to keep up. But she wasn't a first year. She could easily find her way. Yet, all she could remember is ending up in front of the Gryffindor dorm doors. Maybe the staircases moved without her knowing. "H-hey guys. Sorry I'm late. I ended up in the Gryffindor tower." she was so confused as to how. She sat down, more like collapsed, on the couch. She handy slept in a couple days and it was starting to catch up to her. "Jez, you said something about Legimicy at the feast. Does that count dreams?"

Violet skipped merrily into the common room. The question that was posed to her which blocked her way in was fairly easy as was any other question asked to her, but now it was time to meet some new friends in her new year. Hello, everyone, she called out to everyone. I'm Violet and it's nice to meet you all! It's going to an exciting yearViolet beamed at all of them with a brilliant smile.

Elise grinned, almost tripping over the floor on her way in. She was giddy with happiness. Ladedadedadeda. She would sing, if she could. Unfortunately, Elise's singing was more of croaking. Her talents lay with the violin, sketchpad and her wand. And plants. But not brooms.

The riddle! It was surprisingly easy. Maybe the knocker was being nice for her first day back. Oh, well!

"Hi, everyone!" she beamed.

Looking around the common room, she round Erin at one of the armchairs. Noticing her friend seemingly in a good mood, Elise sat down in an armchair opposite her and pulled the pencil from its messy bun, her sketchpad resting on her knees. Then, she began sketching Erin.

Home again. Presley was so excited to be home. She flopped down into her favourite chair, and just took a moment to revel in the familiarity of it. Sure, the summer had been great. But she was glad to be back. She glanced around at the room slowly filling up with fellow Ravenclaws and friends, but made no move to talk to any of them. She would be delighted if somebody spoke to her, but she was just so contented at this moment that she didn't want to move. She was also secretly waiting for the prefects to bring in the new firsties so that she could see thier reactions to the cozy place they called the common room.

Erin smiled at Elise as she saw her enter the common room. Everyone was in their best mood. They're back!

"So, how's the food El? Have you thought a name for the Baby Elf?" She badly thought for that one. A Muggle name wouldn't do since elves have weird names. Nimma, Quirly, Peeps, weren't those weird ones? Thinking so hard, "How about Lulu?" Erin looked at Lulu talking to other people, Jezabel's group. She hoped, the girl didn't hear her.

"What'cha doing?" asked Erin looking at Elise's sketchpad. Was she making a sketch of Erin?

Elise looked up from her sketchpad to see Presley. She remembered her. Presley'd helped her try to get over her mom. And it was working... slowly. Turning to face her, she grinned.

"Hi, Presley," she smiled, turning the page of the sketchbook. "Had a nice summer?"


"The food was great!" she beamed. "The house elves have outdone themselves, really." And the Baby Elf? Well, El had thought of one. It sounded strange enough. But this was Erin's. "What about LuLu?" Oh, the Baby Elf. "Err... Isn't that a little too human-like?"

Weird name. "How's Wonkle sound to you?" she asked, without looking up from her sketchpad. Completing the last few strokes of her face, El turned the book for Erin to see.

"It's supposed to be you, but I haven't done the hair yet," Elise beamed. Twirling her pencil around her thumb, she hoped it wasn't bad. She thought it was good. El had practiced on random people on buses. And if those turned out okay, this would.
