After a long, crazy day, Logan made his way to the boy's dorm, rubbing his eyes. He was just ready to sleep. He yawned and slipped into his bed, and felt his kitten, Peeta, jump onto the bed. "Hey, Peeta." he muttered, and began stroking the kittens fur. He then slowly drifted off to sleep. . .

Maxwell walked into his Dorm Room and sat on His bed Indian style, watching the door and waiting for Jordan to come into the room.

Jordan wandered into the Boys Dormitory, looking at Maxwell he said, "Hey, you wanted to talk to me didn't you?"

Maxwell was happy his anxious waiting was over, He had to tell someone and Jordan was His best guy friend, so who else should he tell right? "Ok, yesterday in the Library. I was reading near the stain glass windows like i always do and i met this girl, She was amazing! Her name is Violet and she's a Ravenclaw, Ariana kind of ruined our conversation, and i accidently sent Ariana to the hospital wing." Maxwell said thinking of how he'd pushed her off his chair in a joking matter of course. "My next stop is to go see Ariana but, that's not part of my story. I'm meeting Violet in the topiary garden later today. Aren't You dating a Ravenclaw girl?" Maxwell asked.

Jordan looked at Maxwell tiredly, "You met this Violet girl and hit it off?" he asked, so he'd gotten over Josephine then... Wait what did he say, "You sent Ariana to the hospital wing? How?" he asked incredulously, "No, I'm dating Faina Malfoy, she's a Slytherin." he smiled, thinking about Fai.

"Yes, we sort of hit it off, very quickly. Well, i was sitting in an arm chair and she decided to be funny, or rude...or maybe both who knows? and laid across me so i played along and pushed her off and i think she hurt her arm i'm not sure." Maxwell said making another mental note to go check on her. "You're dating a Slytherin?...How's that working out?" Maxwell said in a sarcastic, joking manner which he knew Jordan would understand.

Adam flopped down onto his bed, or rather kinda just ran up to it an jumped on his bed an landed in the perfect position. Yeah, it was an odd way to get into bed, but it was more interesting than the normal way. He position his pillow more comfortably an just looked up at the ceiling of the poster bed. It was usual of Adam to always be tired each day, but today he was exhausted, an he didn't know why. There was an excuse,though, he was a growing 16 year old boy man, it was natural for him to be tired.

Adam was punkered out and ready to get some REM. Unfortunately he doubted that that was actually going to happen given the letter that he had just received, but he was going to try and think optimistically. Entering into the dormitory and finding his bed, Adam laid down, barely making a sound as he did so. He had been staring at the ceiling above him for quite some time before he realized that his breath was not the only breath being heard in the room. Sitting up slightly Adam spotted the other Adam chilling on his bed, looking as tired as Adam felt.

"You look as tired as I feel," Adam said with a chuckle that wasn't as light as it usually was. "Long day?" After all the dynamic Adam duo had saved a little owl recently, which was definitely something that warranted them being tired.

Adam didn't need to look to his side to know who's voice that was. It sounded like his twin brother. "Tired? More like exhausted." Adam responded in a slow voice. From Nessie an him talking about his prefect duties to talking about...love, to Adam then being rescued by Kurumi from the duck incident he had tried to handle, the day had turned out more than tired, an lastly with the owl. "Some Slytherin was trying to steal a duck.." Maybe he shouldn't say 'steal', persay, Kurumi seemed to know why the snake done what he did.

Adam gave an empathetic little chuckle. "I hear ya, but at least the little owl was alright. I would have been crushed if we couldn't have healed him," Adam said with a little shake of the head. Animals of any kind would always be Adam's soft spot. He was about to let out a little sigh when Adam's comment made him stop. Turning his head to look at Adam, his mouth fell open slightly. "Someone tried to steal a duck? Well...that's uh...well...do you know why they were trying to steal the duck?" Adam asked, not able to stop a chuckle from escaping at the end. After all the whole thing sounded ridiculous. "And I'm sorry I haven't said this yet, but congratulations on making prefect," Adam said with a sleepy smile. "You deserve it."

"Lucky thing you were walking by there.Imagine if you hadn't been there..." Adam shuddered at the thought if his brother hadn't been there an seen the accident. What would've been the owls fate?

"At least, that's what I call it. Seems Kurumi knew why the Slytherin had done that..I don't know what it was about,really. I tried to grab the duck but I couldn't." An she had taken care of the situation. Sure, he didn't exactly know how to respond to a younger student trying to grab a duck, but she took full reigns of the situation.

"Thanks for that." Adam replied gratefully. It had taken him a while, but they hadn't seen each other, even with them living in the same house an dorm, quite ironic really. He remembered when he had talked to Chris a few days before an Adam had shouted in Chris' face, suspecting that they had given the badge to the wrong Adam. "No problem. We all have our life to go on about." He didn't want to bring Adam on about his doubts an suspisciouns, he'd talked about it too much now.

Adam couldn't stop himself from shivering as he tried to imagine him not walking down the corridor or having decided to spend more time in the library or something. "Let's not dwell on it too much...the important thing is that we got there when we did and the little guy is alright."

"Oh," Adam said with a small nod of the head. Kurumi was a tough cookie; well at least she seemed to be based off of everything that Adam had told him and his own experiences with her. "Well that's good that Kurumi was able to get the kid to let go of the duck. That is a bit odd though...I'm surprised Kurumi didn't tell you why the kid took it," Adam said with a little chuckle.

Adam gave a small nod. "Still...I feel crappy that it took me this long into the term to get a chance to say it to you. How do you like being a prefect? Other than having to save ducks from evil Slytherins, how is it all going?" Adam asked, giving his twin a little smile. Something seemed a little off in the boy's demeanor, but Adam didn't want to budge. Perhaps if he lightened the mood a bit his brother would open up.

"I wouldn't want to see some kid have a duck on a leash giving him a walk along the corridors, as if it were his own pet." He wouldn't like the idea of a natural, outdoor animal being tied down like a dog, but the image was a funny one. "I'm not surprised why she didn't tell me an why she didn't even let me attempt to take control of the situation." Adam responded in a gloomy voice, then he slapped his mouth an closed it with his hand. Did he just say that out loud?

"I wouldn't call the kid evil." Adam spoke up from his bed still. "A lot of work. But it's alright I guess. An honor definitely, so far there hasn't been that much, as far as what I've had to witness." Maybe people wouldn't get confused but maybe Adam could be prefect for a day, he did after all have the actual prefect's name, an people might not even realize it. "Hey, you wanna be prefect for a day? As a joke. You have my name an people may not even realize it's the wrong Adam..." He asked with a sly smile.

Adam tried to imagine someone strolling through the grounds with a little duck on a leash, trotting along beside them, quacking at the students that passed by. He couldn't help the formed visual from allowing a small smile to play across his lips. "That would be awful, but kind of amusing if you think about it." Although Adam had a feeling that ducks would not make the best pets. After all they were pretty independent and enjoyed being with the other ducks in their little pack, if that was the right word. At the comment about Kurumi, Adam turned to admire his pal, his eyebrows slightly raised. "I...uh...I thought things had kind of settled between you two?" Adam asked, not in a nosey way but more a concerned way.

At the recommendation of Adam being prefect for a day he couldn't help but chuckle. "I'm sure everyone would find it quite odd if I walked around saying I was the prefect, since I'm sure everyone knows who you are already. Although it might be curious to see how many people would listen to me if I insisted...." Adam trailed off, turning to see his twin sporting a sly little smile on his face. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say that you have something in mind?" Adam asked, raising his one eyebrow slightly.

"I think you hit the spot with that one.Amusing an animal abusive." Good thing Kurumi was on the other side of the house. If she heard them just joking about a duck on a leash she might throw a tantrum on both of them. Adam began to twist an turn the edges of his blanket. "Sort of. We're on speaking terms rather than arguing terms like we were last year. Even if prefecting...No...I can't tell you.." Adam said half stopping himself. He whipped his head to look at his friend, he seemed really intrigued, let's see how Adam would think of his brother's crazy thought. "There's thoughts in my head saying I'm not meant to be prefect."

"Just a random thought. Besides, Bently, Kurumi an Selina would kill me if I would have given it to you. It's not allowed an those girls are sticklers for rules.No..I actually don't have anything in mind." Ironically enough. Maybe Adam should've been prefect ages ago, he seems to be more calm an a lot less involved in drama this year.

Adam nodded slightly, listening carefully to Adam. He was feeling slightly confused but that probably had a lot to do with the fact that Adam was being kind of vague with him. Well...Adam certainly didn't want to be a prying pest if Adam didn't want to talk to him. But before he had a chance to even say "oh" to the Kurumi comment, Adam was telling him he had a sneaking suspicion that he wasn't supposed to be prefect. "Why do you think that?" Adam asked, figuring that the surprise in his voice was coming through clearly. "You're an awesome person to be a prefect! You're cool, level-headed, nice, and just about every other quality that you would associate with a prefect," Adam said with a supportive smile.

Adam chuckled. It would be girls getting in the way of them having a little bit of fun. Although if Adam was trying to keep on good terms with Kurumi perhaps it was best if they didn't do anything to provoke her to change her mind. "Yeah, you're probably right. Besides I feel like if we got caught you'd be dealt a larger blow than me in the punishment department. It would be kind of funny to see how people responded, but ah well...best to not go asking for trouble," Adam said with a little smirk.

Level Headed, nice? Maybe Adam did have a point. Maybe he was looking at the small picture, maybe the picture that only consisted of himself, Kurumi an Selina. The picture that made him doubt every single second of him being a prefect. An when he looked at the whole picture, a few people did seem to come to Adam about their inner problems, an he did keep his calm. "Maybe you're right." He agreed to his brother. "I mean, the only reason why I keep thinking this is because I'm only thinking in the perspective of Kurumi, Selina an I. I'm not thinking about my other friends. An I haven't done no wrong doings within the school."

"A GRAND blow. This could be revoked." He said quietly as he jabbed at the badge on his desk. "Asking for trouble is something a prefect prevents not encourages. Sorry, just let that thought, joke, float away in your mind. Best not to keep it lingering when there can't be a possibility of it."

Adam nodded. "I don't really know all the nitty gritty details between you, Kurumi, and Selina other than the little bit that you told me last year, but I what I can tell you is that I don't think you should let it determine whether you should or shouldn't be a prefect, you know? While they are important people in your life and may seem like they play a large role, their opinion is not the only opinion in the world, and just because you acted a certain way in some circumstance that they may not find appropriate, doesn't mean it makes you unqualified for other situations, you know?" Perhaps Adam was babbling too much and Adam didn't really want to hear all of this. "My apologies if I am being too blunt, but you're an awesome person Adam and you should have some confidence from that fact."

Maxwell returned to his Dorm Room at the very top of Gryffindor Tower, and took a seat on his Four Poster bed and waited for Jordan once again.

Jordan walked into the dorm, with a watchful eye on the door and the window. Team Wolf surely couldn't be watching him now could they? He turned to Maxwell, "Hey, you were looking for me weren't you?" he asked the other boy.

Adam didn't know much about his brothers personal life. But he had a point, Adam was only thinking of the negative traits he'd had with Selina an Kurumi an wasn't thinking about how well rounded he was with his other classmates. "You're right. I'm focusing too much on the two girls." He nodded slowly as Adam kept on going, but he was speaking the truth, which the ginger Prefect needed to hear. "No.No. Maybe it's good being blunt. I was looking at it all the wrong way before you said all this stuff. I was only considering Kurumi an Selina's history with me. I never thought about my other friendships." A small smile crept on Adam's face.

"Thanks,mate. You made me feel a whole lot better about this all." Now it felt like a million pounds had been lifted off his shoulders.

"Yeah, so earlier i was talking with Ariana about sending her to the hospital wing and she flipped out on me and ran off, and when she did she dropped this." Maxwell handed Jordan a paper that read "I don't know what to do? do i tell her i know or just pretend i don't? i figured you could give me an unbiased opinion." Maxwell asked.

"Why exactly did she flip out?" Jordan asked, "I know that Ariana isn't the sanest person alive, but she wouldn't just storm out for no reason would she?" he said, before reading the note.

"Who did she write write this for? It doesn't quite make sense otherwise?" he looked at the other boy. "You can't just approach her and tell her you know, you have to make sure you are okay with eachother..."

"I confronted her about whatever happened over the summer while apologizing for breaking her arm." Maxwell said thinking he could have been more tactful. "I think it was a letter meant for Joseph." Maxwell said thinking of their former bunk-mate. "You're right, i need to make sure she and I are ok."
