MERLIN! Her many, many books the were all around her again some... NEW!!! She was so excited well as excited as a thirteen year old surrounded by books can be! But truth be told she never actully bumped in to anyone from her year in the liabrary and when she said that she meant the other houses not Ravenclaw... She went to the closest shelf and started looking for some nice fat book that she could read through for a few days! To keep her occupied before classes started which hopfully wouldn't be to much longer she smiled to herself and picked out some more, it was totally empty the whole liabrary all to herself first pick on the books YAY!

She kept loading and loading and then put some back and then continued loading it was a very odd sight indeed

Presley skipped into the library, almost dancing really. She carried a huge text book in her arms, and she was delighted to finish reading it in the quiet of the library. But, she would need a new book then, for bedtime reading tonight. She did a running jump-and-slide in her sock-feet down the smooth wood of the library floor, and almost ran smack into Luna. "Lu! I've been looking for you!" She exclaimed, pulling herself upright and looking like a proper child once more. "Checking out new books?" she asked mildly, hoping to get some good input on what to start reading next.

Jessie finally found the library after taking a few wrong turns ere and there. She was delighted to find that it was open, and the many rows upon rows of shelves filled to the brim with books made her heart skip beat. She loved books!

"Come on, guys! Let's find some books worthy of an owl name!" She walked up to the first shelf and grabbed a book to thumb through.

Sophie ran around the corridors the four of them were walking by, opening many doors before they finally found the library. "Oh, yay! That's it!" she said getting in and rushing to the nearest book shelf. She wasn't much of a reader, but she liked looking through books now and then. Especially here at Hogwarts, she felt - and hoped - she could change that and be friends with the books too.

She started getting some books down and looking though them as fast as she could.

Laura had just been following the others if they had gotten lost she would have scream the house down until a Professor was around but as it was they had somehow managed to find the Library, though where to start looking she had no idea, there seemed to be hundereds of books around, suddenly she spotted a section that was closed. "I wonder what is though there, maybe there will be a good book in there." Laura had a feeling she shouldn't go in it but she was sure there would be a good book, now she had to decide. "What do you think?"

Carigan followed Sophie and Jessie into the library and ran up to the first shelf she could get to and pulled down a large stack of books. "Hey, Jessie, I found some muggle fairie stories!" she said excitedly, "perhaps there is something in here?"

Carigan opened the large tome of fairie stories and began to look through the titles: Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Snow White, The Princess and the Frog, Rapunzel...

Jessie looked at the roped off section. She had a bad feeling about it. "I don't know. I mean, it's closed off so I don't think we can go over there. I think there are plenty of books in this HUGE section that isn't roped off!" Jessie spread her arms wide and twirled to point out just how big this library was. It was the biggest she had even been in!

Jessie looked over Carigan's shoulder as she thumbed through a few boos. "Those look interesting! Let me know if you find anything worthy of an owlet!"

Jessie turned back to her own stack of books. It was also written by muggles. Why books written by muggles would be in a wizarding school, she had no idea, but she looked anyways. This stack looked like children's books and was called the Chronicles of Narnia. Well, whatever Narnia was it sounded like a fun place to be! These books even had a few illustrations in them!

"Hey, is your owlet a boy or a girl? It might help to know!" Carigan smiled up at Jessie. Hamlet was on the table full of books and hopped around the books.

Jessie looked up for minute and watched Carigan's raven hop around. "My little owl is a boy! Sorry, I forgot to mention that part!" Jessie blushed a little as she turned back to her books. She was looking at a picture of a mouse named Reepicheep. Reepicheep. Hmmmm. She turned the name over in her mind. She liked the sound of it but decided to keep looking just in case.

Sophie heard Laura's voice and looked at her. She couldn't deny she was really curious too. But maybe it was best if they didn't go in there... yet. She didn't want to get in trouble on her first day at Hogwarts. So she looked down at the book she had in her hands and kept looking for a name.

Sophie heard Carigan's words to Jessie and looked up. She loved muggle fairie stories! She ran to Carigan, leaving all the books she was looking through behind."Ohh! It will be fun to look for names in these books! These are really cool stories!"

Sophie then turned over to see Jessie with the big book called Chronicles of Narnia. She remembered her dad reading those stories to her when she was little, although she couldn't remember much of the stories. The only thing she could remember is that she really liked it! She ran to Jessie.
"Oh! That's a greeeaat book!" she said looking over Jessie's shoulder. She knew that it had many weird and funny names all over those stories.

Laura looked at the other three and smiled, maybe they were right and she didn't want to go and get into trouble on her first day so she decided to look through some of the books when she got to one it made her giggle. "Apparently a guy called his dog cat." Laura wondered what would happen if she did that, though since she had an owl and not a cat well there wasn't a problem there.

Carigan nodded "A boy... hmmm...." she said as Hamlet knocked over a book. She bent down to pick it up and gave a laugh. Hamlet had knocked over a copy of Hamlet. She looked at the page it was open to. "Now cracks a noble heart. Good night sweet prince: And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!; As spoken by Horatio in Hamlet. Act five, scene two." Carigan read aloud. "What about Horatio?" she asked.

She walked into the libary quietly, she went over to the shelves and began looking at the books with curious eyes.

Minerva came into the library and smiled. She was home now. She went down the shelves looking for something to read when she bumped into another student. "Oh I'm sorry I wasn't watching where I was going." she smiled at the girl.

"Really? Any good names here? I've been looking through and found the name Reepicheep. It's the name of a mouse in the story, but I rather like it. What do you think," asked Jessie.

"Hmm...an owl called Cat...doesn't seem right. Anything else?"

"Horatio is an interesting name, too, Carigan. Maybe a bit too grown up for a baby owl!"

Carigan nodded "Yeah, I suppose so... Let me see." Carigan said as she went shuffling through a pile of books until she came across a book called the bad begining by Lemony Snicket. "Hmmmm.... What about Klaus? Or Olaf?" She asked, still thumbing through the book for more possible male names. "Reepicheap is a cool name... Hey I've read that book I think! Wasn't there a bloke named tumnus or something?" Carigan asked. "Or maybe he was a centaur... yeah he was half animal I know that much."

She smiled,"It's okay, I didn't notice I was in the way." She said with a smile.

Jessie flipped through the book she had in her hand. She remembered something about a Mr. Tumnus in there somewhere...AHA! "He was a faun! How...magical! A muggle wrote these?" Jessie turned to the back of the book with a confused look on her face. How could a muggle know so much about magical creatures?

She turned back to the page she was on before looking for Mr. Tumnus. It was the picture of Reepicheep. "You know, I really like the name Reepicheep. It sounds like a noise a baby owl might make!" Jessie giggled, thinking of all the different noises she heard coming from that cage in the past few days. After a few more minutes' thought she exclaimed, "I think I'll keep it! What do you guys think?"

Carigan smiled "Maybe he is just POSING as a muggle." She said with a wink then gave a small giggle. "Reepicheap is a totally cute name! GO FOR IT!" Carigan said punching her fist in the air.

"Yeah, maybe. I mean "CS LEWIS" doesn't sound very...muggle-ish..."

Jessie was just as excited as Carigan. "Reepicheep it is! Let's go back to the dorm and see if he likes it as much as we do!" Jessie scramble to her feet, taking the time to grab the Chronicles of Narnia (to read before classes start, of course!), and helped Carigan to her feet.

Sophie was still behind them as they talked. "I know, right! Dad always suspected that he was a wizard too!" she said excitedly. "And Reepicheep is so cute!!! Yeah, keep it! The owly will LOVE it!" Sophie smiled and they walked out of the library.

Minerva smiled at the girl. "Are you looking for anything special? I spent a lot of time here last term I might be able to help."

She shook her head,"Not really, I just was looking for a book that was unquie to itself that hadn't been read by many." She said quietly.
