SPOILER!!: Teh Head Girl!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
[INDENT]It wasn't terribly hard to get everything set up and ready for the meeting, especially on a Saturday morning which was surprising considering she so wasn't a morning person at all. Sure, the house elves practically kicked all the students out from the kitchens but come on. She and Salander were Head Boy and Girl! Can't kick them out of anywhere! Besides, the elves were the ones that did all the work, so this had got to be the easiest set up she'd ever done.
However, the topics she wanted to cover today were a bit harder to outline so she didn't sound like she was just ranting about them. Poor Salander had gotten stuck listening to her do that already. Walking over and sitting down in one of the seats in the study area, Evelyn eyed the red-headed girl, known as Miss Stubborn to her, and Kimalia who were already there as all the house elves brought down the eating utensils, food, and refreshments, setting them on every table and making everything look rather neat and perfect. Perhaps they had gone a little overboard on the food since it looked like a feast itself, but Evelyn was rather pleased with the outcome. Even if some of the things laid out would get nowhere near her plate.
Each table had a set of cleansilver utensils for the students to use. There would be no dirty silverware or plates at this meeting if Evelyn had anything to say about it. Matching tea sets were also placed on every table for those who preferred tea as their choice of drink. Before long, the tables were covered with a colorful arrangement of food, ranging from sweet to savory. Not to mention the drinks were rather eye catching.
Water jugs were scattered around the tables, filled with pumpkin juice and different flavors of milkshakes to choose from. Plates stacked high with sandwiches from turkey to ham and everything in between seemed to be the most prominant dish at the tables. Stacks of meats and cheeses as well as the more healthy options such as fruits and vegetables were placed conveniently in reach for each seat, while noticeable fondue sets were placed nearby for those who wish to dip their vegetables and fruits in either a cheese or chocolate dip. In the middle of the tables were a large bowl of salad for those that liked to have their leafy greens every now and then, along with a variety of dressings to choose from.
Of course, there were also the sweet dishes laid around here and there that seemed to have a rather Slytherin color theme to them. Green vanilla and chocolate cupcakes were stacked in an interesting spiral on the tables. Hovering plates of green chocolate chip cookies and a variety of other cookies were seen over the mound of food and while most of them were filled with chocolate, the Head Girl had promised to not complain about the chocolate dishes, and looked the other way. Besides, she wanted the students to stick around, and what attracted students to a certain area more than a quidditch match? Chocolate, of course. Don't worry though. Everything was completely edible!
Both Evelyn and Salander were seated at one of the tables already, waiting for the other students to arrive. Although, Evelyn will stare anyone down who decides they can be sneaky and start eating. They will just have to wait until everyone arrived first.
Marilyn entered the Slytherin study area with a glare. Stupid Rafe...If she ever laid eyes on him again, she'd hex him within an inch of his stupid life...
...Food!
Evelyn and Salander had went all out for this meeting, hadn't they? All different types of snack food littered the tables...Did Marilyn spy Chocolate? She looked to Evie and then back at the Chocolate. Had the Head Girl put it there?
With a shrug, she took a seat towards the front where both the Head Boy and Girl sat. The blonde might have still been a little embarrassed about her point loss...but she was still a Seventh Year. And as one, there would be no sitting with Firsties.

Theo had recieved an owl, telling him some sort of slytherin meeting was going on and that he was to come to the Slytherin study tables. So, being a good little boy he did was he was told and here he was. He wasn't sure why he was here so the boy quickly slipped in and took a seat at one of the empty tables. He didn't really know anyone at all yet, he'd met Aimee and Gwen and that Tom boy but that was about it so maybe this would be a good place for him to make some new friends. Plus the invite had said food would be provided and that was ALWAYS a good thing. He just hoped Gwen would be here so he wasn't a total loner.

Sky started humming a song that was stuck in her head to distract herself from feeling bored and hungry. Seriously, what was taking her housemates so long? Didn't they know that you're never supposed to be late for a meeting?
Suddenly, she had the urge to sing the song out loud. "I'll be gone, in a day or twoooo!" she sang out. Ooh, should not have gone for the high note!
Freya made her way towards the Slytherin Study tables where the Slytherin House Meeting being held. She was rather curious what made the Head Girl and Head Boy decided to arrange this meeting maybe because they already lost several house points in the beginning of the term? Yeah that could be it.
When she entered the Slytherin Study Table the sight of food shocked her. Wow! Suddenly she feel very hungry.
Orchid strolled into the room with a smile on her face and a skip in her step, as well as her favorite summer dress on. She sat down in the middle of the room at one of the tables and looked around, eyeing up the pumpkin juice and the milkshakes. It wouldn't hurt to have just one...would it? She thought to herself.

Kimalia had a hard time picturing whether she meant the Ravenclaw's robes or whole body too. Meanwhile, she was definitely getting hungry, and crossed her right leg over her left to distract herself.
Hearing Kimalia's comment about house points caused Sierra to glance over at her fellow third year with an amused smirk. "Try having minus five as your grand total," she said, shrugging the matter off. In light of everything else going on in her life, she'd brushed off the points loss and put it on the backburner. She'd earn them back, though. Somehow.
She hesitated for a few seconds then added, "Look, Kimalia... I should thank for you for...erm, you know. The feast," she said. She nodded a few times and looked down, feeling more comfortable not looking right at the girl. "I just have to ask," she said, again hesitating, "what made you do it? I mean, why me?" Had it been anyone else, Sierra would have automatically assumed they wanted or needed something from her. Kimalia seemed different somehow, though, and it made Sierra curious to find out why she'd stuck her own neck out to save someone else.

Sierra adjusted her position ever-so-slighty as she took a casual glance around the room. Her gaze fell on Lafay, and she let it stay there for a few moments before turning away.

He wouldn't be able to concentrate on anything until he had food in his stomach, his mouth and his hand. Preferrably all three at once.
"You may as well eat it," Sierra said, her gaze turning to Corey. She watched as he inhaled the scent of something as simple as a sandwich. "You've breathed all over it. It's practically territorial now." She laughed lightly, though, in amusement, then surveyed the table for herself.

Salander leaned back in his seat and proudly gazed over the food laid out before them. He has to admit, it was quite a spread. Kitchens may have been closed but the Elves hasnt dropped the ball when fulfilling instructions from Slytherin House.
He nodded his head and smiled in greeting as his housemates started pouring in. Yes come in my pretties....
He stood up respectfully when their Head of House joined them "Greetings Professor" he smiled then paused behind Sierra and a transferee (Corey) this close to inhaling the entire sandwhich plate. "Easy on that kid, all in good time..." he smirked as he placed a gentle hand on the boy's shoulder. Which also makes the Head Boy within easy reach of yanking the plate away if he needed to hehehe.
Yeah thats what crazy is, when its broken you say theres nothing to fix++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++And you pray that everything will be okay, while you're making all the same mistakes
Lana walked towards the study tables, her hair a wavy mess. She did just wake up after all. rubbed her eyes and looked around. She saw the head boy and girl and waved...
FOOOOOD...
She now realized she was starving. Since she saw no one with food she figured they couldn't yet. She looked around again. This time searching for anyone she knew.
ooo.. Desiree and Raven. She smiled and waved.
"Hey guys, I'm starving," she laughed. "Did I miss anything?"

"S'how it should be." He made a mental note that Sierra probably wouldn't eat food he'd breathed on, in case the two of them were ever trapped on a desert island and running out of food (because Corey wouldn't share. He'd hoard it for himself. And eat it. And probably after it was gone, seriously consider eating her. This is how important food was to the growing third year). He shot her a grin though. It was okay. He could maybe manage another few minutes?
.. maybe.
For her benefit he made a show of sniffing at and breathing on other things too. It was clear he had claimed the sandwiches, even if he hadn't yet touched even one.
"You can have my share of the vegetables." He told her. So generous.

Possibly Mr. Head boy might feel Corey practically TREMBLING with the need to eat. A bit like a dog that had been taught to wait, but only while being watched.
What if he slipped and accidentally face planted in the sandwiches hmm? What then?
The boy seriously contemplated it, and his stomach continued to explain how hungry and empty it was.
"Good time is relative." He pointed out. For instance, HIS good time would be now, see?

Raven just noticed that Lana reached the Study Table, then she took a seat next to Desiree
"Nothing, the meeting hasn't started yet." she whispered to Lana.
Holding the parchment which had specifically told her to get to the House study table, Michelle finally found the meeting place.
While approaching the chairs, she noticed their Head of House hawk-eyeing the rest of the students. Quickly slipping into one of the seats, she made herself as small as she possibly can..

After she got that interesting letter by owl, Nora was more curious than ever about this meeting, so she made her way to the common room, and next to the study tables. Figuring out that it hadn't started yet, she nodded with a smile towards professor Lafay, so the woman wouldn't think she was rude.
She also noticed all that food, but she didn't touch anything. Not yet.

Smirking, "Hmph, no but I can definitely say I learned my lesson." Kimalia kept her giggling to a minimum when she saw Professor Lafay nearby, not that she was afraid of her, she just had a feeling that she would be having an eye kept on her throughout the term in case she messed up again. So Kimalia gave a respectable small smile towards the Head of House. Then hearing Sierra's comment made her head turn.

Kimalia kept eye-contact with Sierra as she listened. Why did she bother defending her? That was a simple question. "Well, you helped make sure that I didn't ever end up a mess during Quidditch matches last term." Kimalia breathed a sigh, "and well, my older brother who I look up to, he always encouraged me to help someone when given the chance-" Even though it was considered a puffer thing to do in her father's eyes. Kimalia then shook her head of the reminder of her father's letter out of her head. "Anyway, it was the least I could do for a fellow teammate."

Reason: forgot some things ^_^
The brown eyes scanned the area from a bit farther, trying to see if he knew someone there. Their head of house, Professor Lafay was present too, although not very happy. Did houses hold such... meetings like that at the beginning of every term? If so, that was kind of... lame. Still, it also could have very many things to do with the point losses too. Well, hopefully that was their topic. If he was required to meet new people and chit-chat with them, he would leave.
Offering a formal "Hello,"s at the three authoritative people there, he walked up to the end of the crowd and found himself a corner to observe the meeting.
He wasn't hungry, thank you. This British coffee was the worst, and he didn't drink anything else.
The fourteen year old kept cursing the owl who had caused the gash on his index finger. At first when he had seen the owl heading to him, Kennedy had ran because...well, he thought it was going to attack him --although he wasn't wrong about that. Then when he finally understood the bird had a note for him, Kennedy put it in his pocket, but then the stubborn owl wouldn't leave him...and that's when their small brawl began. At the end it was Kennedy-0 and the Owl-1.
He really hoped the owl had its vaccinations in check.
Stepping into the study table area Kennedy was surprised by it all. This was like...like a fancy dinner Governers held back home. He's never been invited to one, but has overheard it from his classmates. "Nifty," he whispered, still amazed.
FOOD!
It was EVERYWHERE! He could smell it and practically taste it. Gosh, he wanted some, but he guessed they couldn't until the rest of the Slytherin house arrived.
Regulus walked in, still making a lot of racket from the new corridor rules. He took a seat, leaning his head against his hand that was resting upon the study tables. A smirking grin played upon his lips, taking special notice in the yummy food that seemed to tickle his nose. Waiting was not his forte, though it was nice to have a seat and relax for a change. He sat quietly, glancing around at the students, some he knew and others he didn't, yet it was good to just hear others talk for a while, giving his own voice a rest.
Indya shyly shuffled over to the table, her eyes looking at the floor. She still hadn't got used to being around so many people, so many LOUD people. She really didn't want to be here right now but the lure of food and drink was too much.
She sat down and finally saw the spread laid out on the table in front of her.
"WOW!!!" she thought to herself as her mouth watered from all the delicious smells.
Harlow walked into the common room for the meeting. She was a bit shaky on her feet, she had just tried to fly on an actual broom and it scared her half to death.
Her hair was wind blown back behind her head.
She staggered over to the study tables and grabbed the first chair she could see. She must be crazy signing up for Quidditch, but she wanted to play and see what the fuss was about. She waved to Regulus and was tempted to go sit next to him but she didn't trust herself just yet. It took all her mental concentration to stumble from the pitch back to her common room.

Regulus turned, hearing stumbling behind him to see Harlow and her shaky legs. She didn't look very well, almost seeming to be pale in color. He lifted his hand, waving her over to his table.
Selena walked into the common room, tempted by (not the owl) the food. There was...so many... sweets! Immediately she sat down, eyes fixed on the platters of green cupcakes and various delicious foods that were spread out before them. It didn't matter how they looked, they smelled good. So whatever the owl had been talking about, she hoped that the head boy and girl got to the point fast so that they could all eat.
. . . food was good after all.

Isabelle walked around and saw food. Yum. She grabbed a plate and took some chocolate and a small sandwich to snack on for now. She thought it would be best to not overindulge. Smiling she took a seat nearer the front. Isabelle was excited to hear what the head boy and girl would say. Maybe scold the late people?
