The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.

Sierra Greingoth wandered into the Great Hall, a bag tossed over her shoulder full of a variety of different items. Yes. She'd come bearing gifts. Oddly enough, she would actually miss a few of the people leaving this school year. She settled into a seat toward the middle, feeling sort of awkward that no one else had arrived yet.
Oh, well. It wasn't like she cared to surround herself with too many others anyway. Sitting here all alone was the least annoying moment of all the time she'd spent sitting here at this very table. She tossed her bag to her feet, unzipped it, and pulled out the quill-shooting porcupine she'd gotten at the Charms final. It was a useful little creature, if she did say so herself. After all, it did shoot quills at anyone who attempted to steal from her.

VicTORIa Bunbury also wandered into the Great Hall, totally psyched for the end of term feast and curious to see who had won the Quidditch banner making contest thingymabob. She was also way proud of herself for having earned over 600 points ON HER OWN this term. Wow.
Who knew the redhead was so competitive? Heh. Then again, perhaps that was why she had been Sorted into the best house EVER, the only house to have ever won all three major school competitions for two terms in a row.
Feeling pretty smug about all that, Tori sat down at the Slytherin table, unknowingly scooting in next to her favorite person....

Sierra Greengoblin. Ugh. Tori just did NOT have luck at this table, did she? She eyed the other girl with her big bag of STUFF and then her little porcupine on the table.
Well well well. Showing off, was she? TWO could play at that game. Tori reached into her pocket and pulled out Harry, her dung beetle who could carry heavy loads. She held him up to her mouth and whispered something into his ear, sending him scurrying off toward Sierra's bag of STUFF at her feet.
Then Tori flipped her hair over one shoulder and casually made conversation with her archenemy.
"Soooo.......... Greingoth......" she made a point of looking at the porcupine thing. "What does THAT thing do?"

Wandering up to the feast after putting the last of her things in her trunk, TJ peered into the great hall. She wasn't going to cry, nope. Well at least she hoped not. It was just the start of the next part of her life, right? Chewing on her lip, she made her way to the slytherin table and found a seat.
Her hands on her knees as she sat there, she just looked around at the students at her table, the young and old...and probably will not see again, and definitely won't see again here.

And.. the End of Term Feast is coming. Raven really hated this. It meaned that, she will come home soon. Wait, it's not her home now! She will come to Charlotte's mansion, totally definetely NOT her home. She gonna missed Liverpool. She gonna missed her home, her REAL home.
Sitting on the house table alone, she took some food. Mased potatoes, turkey sandwiches, pumpkin juice and some desserts. She waited for Zhenya and Desiree. Where were they?

Desiree walked into the Great Hall for the End of Term Feast admiring the view of the ceiling. She was happy about the feast and all, but she wasn't ready for her first year of Hogwarts to end..
.. She brightened up though when she noticed Raven was already here, "Hey Raven!" she said smiling widely and taking a seat next to her friend. "It's hard to believe huh? Our first year is already over.." she sighed filling her glass with pumpkin juice, and taking a sip. But the year had been amazing, all of her new friends, everything she learned, plus Slytherin had won the House Cup and The Quidditch Cup!
And of course it would be nice to see her family again.. her mum and dad, and hopefully even her sister.. oh and they were going to Zhenya's house! at least for a little. But still, she couldn't wait. Speaking of, where was Zhenya?

When Raven just daydreaming, somebody called her name. "Oh, Hi Des!" she greeted Desiree warm. Not too warm actually. Since she still unhappy with her homecoming to Charlotte's mansion.
"Huh, I didn't realized that another awesome year at Hogwarts had passed. Actually I wasn't too excited for summer." She told Desiree because she knew why Raven was not very excited.
"I'll spend my summer in Charlotte's mansion, I hope I can spend my time in Zhenya's house. By the way, I didn't see her.. maybe for days." She was looking for Zhenya and asked about her to Desiree. Maybe Zhenya still study at common room?

Desiree just nodded, she felt bad because she knew why Raven wasn't looking forward to this summer, she didn't want to go to Charlotte's mansion... "Ya, I'm not too excited for summer either really.. besides going to Zhenya's house of course. I'd rather stay here at Hogwarts the whole time." she added with a small laugh.
But she stopped when Raven said she hadn't seen Zhenya in a few days.. She was suddenly a little worried about her "I haven't really seen her either.. but I mean I'm sure she's fine, probably just had a lot of work to do at the end of the term.." hopefully anyway..
Suddenly she felt something move in her pocket, oh she had almost forgot! She pulled out a little metal mouse which began to scurry around the table. Desiree smiled and looked over at Raven, "This is Indigo, isn't she cute? She came out of that egg for charms. You had an egg didn't you?" she asked curious to see what had come out of hers.

"I just hope our summer project, spend summer in Zhenya's house will be happened." She noticed a silver mouse in Desiree's hand.
"Does it come from the egg? Wow.." Raven took a silver spider from her pocket.
"I got it." she showed it to Desiree. "I didn't look creepy actually. And cool, it also produced the silver web!"

Katie sat down sighing knowing that this was the end of term feast, emphasis on the end.
Though she always knew she would be coming back next year, she really never liked going home, though she loved seeing her mother, but normally she would end up staying at Chase's one night, by force, wish Katie was soo happy 'bout, sarcasm, gotta love it. Katie remembered then that all students came to the feast and were all together, her opportunity to seek out Luke! Unless he didn't come to Hogwarts that year, she then started thinking, maybe he hadn't? Surely nothing bad had happened to him?

Maddie made her way into the Great Hall and over to the house table taking a seat beside a total stranger. She'd only actually met one person during her short time here. And now she was NEVER going to meet any one else here. Because she wasn't returning next term. Next term she would be a fifth year and she had always said she would spend her fifth year at Beauxbatons. So that was what she was going to do.

The end of the year feast was always so.....depressing. Daichi had only been to one before since he was a second year but the feeling of saying goodbye to someone was just not right.
Seated on the bench at the Slytherin table, the second year looked around with a deep sigh. The sigh then came out as a cough and he had to look the other way was he held his hand over his mouth. Why was he sick at the END of the school year? Being sick DURING the school year for a few days would have been better hehe. But noooo he gets to be sick when its the end.

Kurumi made her way to the Slytherin table with her eyes slightly red and puffy after everything that had happened at the Gryffindor table...and there was still many more farewells to be had. She needed to keep what Lexi had said to her in mind though. None of these good byes would be final, they were more like see-you-again-soons.
She had a small bag with her, but one that held many things thanks to her older brothers' charm work. Looking around for certain seventh years and mentally preparing herself for more tears, Kurumi first spotted Daichi looking a little under the weather. Hopefully she would be able to cheer him up.
"Hey, Daichi," she smiled, trying to remove the remaining tears from her cheeks as she plopped down next to him.

After his coughing fit, Daichi thought that maybe eating something would cheer him up. He would have eaten a soup and tried to stomach it but the plates were still empty.
He had been sick since the last quidditch final which he didn't see because he lay in bed and he really hoped it would be over soon. Seeing Kurumi walk over to the Slytherin table, he thought that she was going to say goodbye to the seventh years. You know, being the Prefect and all. But he surprised when she sat down on the bench next to him.
At the same time as she said his name he sneezed loudly. "H-hi~" he tried to say in his normal cheerful voice but it came out hoarse. He cleared his throat and looked at Kurumi. "Why are you eyes red?" he asked, seeing the puffy red eyes. "Are you allergic to somethi--" he couldn't finish as he had to look away and coughed again.

Kurumi jumped back a bit, but not because she was disgusted by his coughing. More she was surprised. Poor Daichi. Where had he gotten this terrible cold from? More importantly, what was in the Slytherin common room that was making its students so sick?! Jonathan had come down with something terrible just before OWLs had begun, but he seemed to have gotten a bit better to take at least three of them. Now here was little Daichi nearly coughing up a lung. This was a bad term for the school nurse to suddenly go missing.
"Oh..um...crying...from saying good bye to people," she replied as she chewed on her bottom lip just a bit. She had business at the Slytherin table as well, but the snakes she needed to see didn't seem to be here at the moment. "I'm...sorry this is late, Daichi. I wanted to give it to you on your actual birthday and there really is no excuse for me not doing so." She reached her full arm down into her small bag, its opening coming up around her elbow, until she felt the small white box she had been looking for and handed it to him. "Happy Birthday."

Crying from saying goodbye? Of course, how could he have been so stupid? He nodded his head in understanding. He didn't know any of the now seventh years so he didn't have this problem now. Yes, he had talked with them once or twice but it wasn't something that he knew them. But he did know how it was like to say goodbye to a friend. His mind traveled back to last year in which he had to say goodbye to the back then Slytherin Prefect , Evan who had been like an older brother to him. Unconciously, he placed his hand in his right robe pocket and touched the piece of paper with Evan's authograph for he was now a famous soccer player , or whatever that was.
Daichi snapped back to earth as he heard his name again. "what?" he asked and blinked a couple of times when Kurumi grabbed a small bag and her arm went in around her elbow. O_o "How is that possible!?" he squeaked, a little louder than he wanted and pointed at the bag and then the big box that came out.
Wide eyed, the Slytherin looked both shocked and curious at the box. He grabbed it and placed it in front of him on the table. Opening it up and seeing the chocolate cake , the boys eyes twinkled. "This is...for me?" he asked and looked from the cake to Kurumi and then back to the cake. Then, he jumped up from the bench and tackled the Prefect in a BIIIIIIIIIIG hug.
"Thank youuuu~" he thanked in a hoarse voice and then pushed her away as another coughing fit came up. "Where's the nurse when you need one?" he mumbled and wiped his hands on his jeans. Yes, eww.
Isabelle sighed as she sat down at the table. This really was the end of the year. It had been such a great year. Still she didn't really have any friends, but it had been for sure a lot more funner than last year. She felt like she belonged more and did more for her house, which won all three again.
Isabelle just looked around staring at all the happy friends and took a bite of food. It tasted delicious, one thing that she would be able to look forward to when she came back.

Kurumi giggled when she saw Daichi's expression. She had been the same when she had first seen the charm performed on her brother's school bag. It had been one of the first bits of magic she had seen in person outside of school and had toppled over backwards when he had pulled not one but three kendo swords out of a bag no larger than the size of her hand. "Undetectable Extension Charm," she explained with a knowing nod. "One of my older brothers performed it for me over the winter break. Really handy charmswork. Afraid I am not really all that close to mastering it myself."
OOOOOOOOOOOOFFF!! Kurumi hadn't expected the boy to leap across the bench and tackle her like that. She managed to brace herself on the table using her right arm, but she still leaned back quite a bit from the momentum of his hug. "Of course it is," she laughed a little short of breath. Why were people always so surprised when she gave them sweets? Although, Daichi's reaction wasn't suspicious at least. That look that was more of a glare was getting old.
And then he starting coughing again and she sort of rubbed his back in a soothing way. "You're welcome," she chirped back. "Afraid she had to leave school." The nurse that is. "You should have something hot to drink. Will be nice on your throat."

João looked around at the door of the Great Hall, trying to adjust to the noise. Yeah, maybe there weren't that many people yet, but still, for someone coming from a peaceful place like the dungeons, it was still much noise. Walking to his table, he sat down, away from the other people because he didn't know them. And frankly, he didn't even bother to meet them. He only wondered the quality of food, and nothing more. Looking ahead, he saw the Ravenclaw Table and sighed to himself. Where was India? He would really like to bid her a summer goodbye...
Flickering his eyes back at his plate, he wondered when they would give the food. Judging by the opening feast, he hadn't eaten much for the lunch, and now he did expect the same quality as well.

"Undetectable Exten whatta charm?" Daichi looked at the bag with still the amazed expression. "I want to learn that too~" he sighed.
As his coughing fit ended for now he felt a hand rubbing his back as though to sooth him. He smiled and had to look away when a small blush covered his cheeks. Luckily , Kurumi changed the subject and he nodded as though nothing had happened. "Do you know why she had to leave?" he asked thinking that she would know.
"...but i don't like hot drinks, when it's summer that is" he whined as he eyed the teapot somewhere on the table. "Do i have toooo?"

She took at bit of food and waited for somebody else to sit down that she could talk to.

"Extension Charm," Kurumi repeated. It was a rather long name for a charm, but it was also rather fitting considering what the spell did. "It undetectably makes things bigger on the inside only. My oldest brother is rather gifted when it comes to Charms, so he performed it for me. Wouldn't teach it to me though." He was rather proud that he could do something that his little sister couldn't. She smiled and looked at the younger snake. "I'd like to learn it as well. Afraid I melted a perfectly good bag trying to figure it out the other day." Yeah...probably best to leave that charm alone for the time being.
Kurumi noticed the blush, but thought that it meant he was feverish and her other hand went to his brow for a moment. Nope, he didn't feel too hot, so that was good. "Afraid I don't," she said with a small sigh. Just like she didn't know what had happened to their Groundskeeper, Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, or Care of Magical Creatures Professor. It had been another term of people going missing.
She laughed again. Merlin Daichi was adorable! Could she...take him home with her? She was sure her brothers would love him too and hopefully wouldn't tease him too much. "What is it with you boys and not wanting to drink tea when you are sick," she sighed, playfully throwing her arms up in the air. "Jonathan was the same when I tried to get him to drink tea too."

As something moving entered his sight from the rear, the Brazilian slowly turned to that way to see who it was... and it was that Daichi boy who nearly got him into trouble.
Hmm... now that he had turned that way, he had to acknowledge the boy. He'd better behave this--
*eye roll*
That was the only acknowledgment he'd get with that childish behaviour.

"Tell your brother that the charm is cool and that he should teach you how to do it so that you can teach me how to do it" Daichi nodded his head as he spoke. Despite being bad at magic, he was still someone who loved to learn.
He then giggled yes giggled at her melting bag theory and scratched the back of his neck. "Well, i would blow it up~" he said without any shame and was a bit startled when Kurumi placed a hand on his forehead. Eeek, had she seen it? or..wait, maybe she thought he had a fever. Well, it wouldn't surprise him but he didn't feel *that* sick.
When she said she didn't know about the nurse he pouted his lips. He was sure that she would have known... "Oh..." was the only thing he could say and then looked up wide eyed when Kurumi mentioned that Jonathan was sick too. "Jonathan is siiick?" he asked, his voice filled with worry as he looked around the table and tried to find him. He totally missed the 'was sick' part and when he didn't see him at the table he looked back at Kurumi. "Poor guy" he muttered.
"Want a piece?" he asked as he cut a piece of her own cake and gave it to her.

Hmm... now that he had turned that way, he had to acknowledge the boy. He'd better behave this--
*eye roll*
That was the only acknowledgment he'd get with that childish behaviour.
The moment they made eye contact, Daichi noticed the eye roll and laughed out loud. It was the first laugh he had in days since his sickness and that annoyed behaviour strangely cheered him up. The chocolate cake more of course... no one could beat a chocolate cake!
Maybe the laugh would have confused him and he wanted to confuse him more. Saying a "excuse me, i'm right back.." to Kurumi he placed a piece of chocolate cake on a plate and went over to where the Slytherin was seated.
"Hey" he said the moment he stood behind him and looked away when he coughed. "Here" Then he placed the plate with the cake in front of him and walked back to his own place.

She'd been debating this moment since the night before. Should she attend the feast or should she stay away? It was true, the term before she had joked and teased the previous seventh years that had tears in their eyes, wondering why they had gotten so worked up over an ending feast. But now that she was the one in their positions, she could see why.
After packing up her final belongings and dragging herself away from the girl's dormitory, making sure she did in fact look her best, Evelyn walked into the great hall and immediately looked around as she usually did when making her way over to the Slytherin table.
It was all scary real world after this. No more Great Hall. No more Slytherin table. No more classes, homework, school library, gobstones, quidditch practice, room of requirement, professors...No more Hogwarts. The Slytherin was so lost in thought, she didn't even realize she had sat down and was now staring blankly at the empty plate in front of her.
