Sierra stormed up from the girls' dormitory with the angry Pygmy Puff in one hand and the Hate Potion in the other. "Shut it," she snapped at it. "I'm returning you to the Potions classroom, and then someone else can deal with you." Though, it would make an excellent Potions partner at the same time. She could brew while the Pygmy Puff involuntarily tested. Heh.

The Pygmy Puff moved from her hand to her shoulder and began to squeal loudly at her. Sierra raised her hand to swat it off but then thought better of it. Returning a dead Pygmy Puff to Lafay was likely not a wise idea. "SHUT.UP!" she yelled at it, but it's angry face looked up at her and then the creature began to squeal loudly again. The more this happened, though, the less angry the Pygmy Puff stayed. Sierra paused and looked over at it, realizing that without anymore drops of Hate Potion, the creature would stop squealing at her and return to normal. With a mischievous smile on her face, she headed out the common room.

Sky found a secluded spot in the common room. She sat down slowly lowered Cookie, her Pygmy Puff to the floor. She had wrestled with herself about this, but it had to be done. "I'm sorry, Cookie," she told her before giving her the potion. Cookie sat there for a few seconds, then started kind of hopping around squeaking loudly. Sky hoped the puff wouldn't hate her after the potion wore off.


A few minutes later…

Sky could tell the potion was wearing off. Cookie wasn't hopping around any more and her squeaking was quieter. Eventually, the potion wore off completely, and Cookie was rubbing against Sky's hand. Sky reached out and petted Cookie who made a strange happy sounding noise. Sky knew then that they were okay, and Cookie was back to her pre-potion state.

"Awwwww!" Taryn cooed, leaning even CLOSER. "But, ew. It's kind of gross that he's eating them.. couldn't he just spit it out?" Not that she wanted to clean up after the Pygmy Puffs, no.

"I wonder if he likes lemon candy." Maybe they wanted to go for a swim in a bowl of ice cream? Hehe.

"No apparently.... not...." Tori tilted her head the other way. "He just really... doesn't like candy... maybe he's a diabetic!puff?"

Maybe! That reminded her... "Hold on a sec, I'll be riiiiiiight back." The girl hopped up from the ground and dashed off to the dormitories, returning a second later with a little corked crystal phial.

"Hate potion." She grinned wickedly. "It's homework, I promise." And she wouldn't test it on VIVIAN either.

Ouch!

That hurt, and not just physically, but his pride. Kennedy ran into the common room right behind the EVIL Puff. He still couldn't believe it. It BIT him...the thing actually bit. After all that caring he had done and stuff, but then again he deserved it for giving it that Hate potion, and it seemed that it was still in effect. The purple Pygmy Puff bounced ahead of him. It was slower now, so Kennedy guessed it was getting tired.

"Come back here, Puff. I know you're tired," he said, taking a seat on one of the couches. He was tired, too. That's what chasing a Pygmy Puff all day did to you. He looked down at his finger and grimaced. It hurt.

Yes, she was tired, but she wouldn't allow the troll boy touch her again. Oh-uh-uh! He was so insensitive to her feelings. How dare he chase around the grounds and then....then when she bit him he DROPPED her. Sure, she started it, but he could have been more gentle.

SHE DEMANDED GENTLENESS!

But, noooo! This boy didn't know anything about that. "Squeak SQUEEEAAK!" Puff didn't even know how that girl he was talking to at the Great Hall was his friend. He was SO annoying. Come back, come back...Like he actually cared for her. More LIES!

LIES!

Elizabeth walked into the common room and saw a girl sitting down with a Pygmy puff that aparently was named Cookie. Elizabeth walked up to the girl and decided to introduce herself,"'Ello my name is Elizabeth. And you are?"

Nina kept on running into the common room before hoping up on top of a couch there. Hiding beneath a pillow she hoped that girl she hated wouldn't find her.

Isabelle followed the puffball into the common room. She looked around. Where was Nina? The pygmy puff wasn't visible to her. Where had she gone? "Nina, oh Nina," Isabelle called out sweetly. "Where are you Nina?"

Nina heard the evil girls voice and poked out from beneath the pillow. Uh oh. That wasn't the wisest decision. Nina thought that the girl saw her. She scrambled quickly back under the pillow. Wanting to stay as far away as possible.

"That's where you are," Isabelle said as she saw the pygmy puff peeking out from underneath a pillow. Isabelle walked quickly over and lifted the pillow up. She grabbed Nina and hurried out of the common room. She was hungry. So, Nina must go through with Isabelle eating dinner. Hopefully the potion would wear off soon.

Raven was sitting at the common room, with her sillypuff in her hand.

"I don't know why so many people keep you as a pet. You are.. useless." said Raven cold.

See? The girl called me useless. HEY! I AM MORE AWESOME THAN YOU!!! SQUEAK!!! SQUEAK~~~ the puff was squeaking again..


"Shut up!!!" she pointed to the puff. Suddenly the pygmy puff bit her finger.


"OUCH!!!"

After spending almost the whole day outside Chelsea was freezing. Walking into the common room she heard the fire crackling a sound she loved. Then she took a seat on the couch closest to the fireplace. Winter was her favorite time of year. Chelsea was in a very good mood today. Talking with Erin really helped. Now it would probably be easier for her to talk with Ryan. Picking up the Daily Prophet she skimmed the headlines. Not much was going on lately well nothing that interested her enough to read it. Looking around the common room she hoped to see one of her friends.

"Homework." Taryn made a face and gestured to her own pile of books, she motioned for the other girl to go ahead with her homework, though she WAS going to keep an eye on Vivian.

Her precious girl was much too fragile for hate.

"Is that all you've got?" Luckyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

"Um nopeeeeee," Tori wracked her brain, trying to think of all her other assignments that had just recently piled up. "I think I have Astronomy, and Divination, and probably Arithmancy too, come to think of it...."

Though she really didn't WANT to think of it. This homework was already late.

"C'mere, Simbaaaaaaaaa," the girl cooed, dropping to her knees and cuddling her pygmy puff in the crook of her arm. She was not gonna like this, she could tell. She gave him a few good nuzzles and a kiss on the top of his head, so that he was vibrating/purring like he always did when he was happiest.

And then she did it. The girl uncorked her little phial and let a few drops of her successfully brewed hate potion trickle into her puff's little mouth. The pink pygmy trembled at first, like he was rejecting the taste of the potion, and then he started SQUEAAAAAAAKING.

"MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKK!"

Katie sat down near the green fire, she loved how the slytherin common room was based on green, green was an awesome color too, so everyone is probably jelaous of how green the room was, and by everyone she means hufflepuff, gryfindor and ravenclaw.

Vixy, her pet cat that looked like a fox followed her to the seat and sat on her lap, as Katie gave her pat Vixy started to pur and relax. Then Katie pulled out her book and started to read, wasn't this fun!

Kennedy looked down at the exhausted Pygmy Puff. When would it stop hating him? He noticed her eyes drooping, a definite sign that it was tired and maybe even ready for a nap, but he didn't dare try to touch her. Oh no, what if it bit him again. He didn't want to risk getting some weird bacteria or something...

...Then the Puff did something so unexpected Kennedy's eyes grew WIDE. It started to cry. The Pygmy Puff was crying and he didn't know what to do.

She was tired and for some reason felt moody. What was going on? WAAAAAAAH! She wanted to sleep. A nap would be good right about now. She looked up at Kennedy with teary eyes and cried even more. WAAAAH! Why wasn't he picking her up.

She wanted up!

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

After done with classes for today Nikolas headed to his comfy common room, not to mention the best one he had a lot to do and it would be good to start doing homeworks right now but...nah he was going to do them tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

He entered into the room and looked at a girl with...a cat, it was a cat right? He wasn't very fond of cats. "Is that a cat?" he pointed at the animal.

Taryn STARED at the pygmy puff, holding Vivian tighter until she squeaked with indignation. "I didn't even know he could make that noise!" WOW. She frowned at the poor little thing. It hardly seemed humane!

"I....I....I didn't either!" Tori frowned as Simba's squeaks grew progressively louder. The puffball started rolling around and around in her hands, biting at her until she dropped him onto the coffee table.

Simba SNAPPED at Bad Missus and rolled around in all her candy, shedding tufts of pink fur, which promptly stuck to all of the candy wrappers, throwing dirty looks at Missus' direction all the while.

"GRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPP!"

He wasn't done yet.

"Hi Desiree, I'm Alexia." she said, smiling to the girl in front of her. "Oh, I see you haven't done your Potions homework yet, anyway that's a cute pygmy puff you got right there!" she said excitedly, she loves those adorable Pygmy puffs.

Kaytee walked into the common room. It was so weird; it seems as if everything in her life has changed so much, but this castle was always the same, a constant in her life. The common room welcomed her in, and her eyes drifted to the fireplace. A younger girl was sitting on a couch.

Well, I guess since I don't know anyone here anymore, I should try to make friends.

"Hi there," Kaytee said quietly. "Do you mind if I sit here with you? Too be honest, I seem to be a little lost lately." She smiled sheepishly.

What an understatement.

Chelsea looked up noticing an older girl. "Hi, no I don't mind" she said. Putting the daily prophet aside "I'm Chelsea Charm" she added introducing herself.

Kaytee smiled. "Thanks. I'm Kaytee," she said, extending a hand. Kaytee nodded to the Prophet. "So, anything new?"

She smiled "Nice to meet you" she said. Chelsea noticed she had been meeting a lot of new people lately. Well after her break up she had no reason to spend every minute with Scott so that was probably one reason. Dating him was a huge mistake
"No, nothing too interesting" she said.

"Nice to meet you, too." Hmm. Maybe this won't be so hard.

Kaytee plopped down beside her. "So, what year are you?"

I'm already talking too much, she thought. Probably scaring the poor girl.

Katie heard a voice, it sounded like the boy was talking to her, she looked up and saw that he was talking to her, he was staring at Vixy. Katie would have rathered been kept in peace reading her book but at least this boy had some brains and knew the difference between a cat and a fox is, or a cat and a goldfish for that matter, "Yes, she's my cat, Vixy" Katie said smiling, "She doesn't bite or scratch, unless you upset her, but other then that, harmless" Katie explained.

"I'm Katelyn Star by the way, fourth year, please call me Katie though" Katie interdouced herself, extending her arm so he could shake her hand, if he wanted to that is, because he might hate germs, like some people are, and that would be cool if he was, she had never met a person like that, but it was very unlikely that he hated the thought of germs, not that she had germs on her hand.

Desiree smiled again at the girl, Alexia, she had never really seen her around before, which was weird. Then she mentioned Puff, as she called him. (she would think of a more creative name later) "Oh I know I'm a little behind.. but he is pretty cute isn't he?" she said stroking the pink little puffball. "That's the problem, I don't want to give it that terrible potion." she didn't know why really, it would wear off.

Victoria flopped down on an arm chair nearest to the fireplace, tired and exhausted from playing outside in the snow. Snow and ice are still on her mittens and jackets, but are melting pretty fast under the warmth of the emerald fire. She does not want to move on single bit, and that's how tired she was. But it's getting really hot under this mess of sweaters and jackets, so Victoria had to take them off. The water from the snow and ice dripped all over the floor and sort of made a tiny puddle.

Great. Now Victoria has to clean it all up. NOT FUN!

With a flick of her wand, the water puddle disappeared immediately, which made Victoria surprised. She did not thought she could make it disappear that fast.

Victoria sat back in the arm chair and pulled out a book for a bit of a light reading. Okay, maybe it doesn't have that much information in it, at least it's fun to read! Unlike those Ravenclaws read when they're bored.
