Man. It was a long day. Jonathan could feel his back cracking as he stretch out. The wind was cold as ice. Yes, it's winter. Jonathan didn't like winter because of the fact that he usually hibernates during that season. He sounds like an animal but it is true. He sleeps A LOT! He can't help it. He just loves to sleep.

Jonathan walked inside the common room after a long walk outside Hogwarts. He sat on his favorite chair. Not that he owns one in particular but he likes to sit on this one particular chair. He tossed his scarf and coat on the side and sat down. He stretched his legs and sighed. Yup, he was sleepy again.

He leaned his back on the comfortable chair and massaged his head.

Victoria was interrupted from her book by a sound of shuffling and moving beside her. She looked away from her textbook for a moment and saw a boy sitting in a chair not far away from hers. Geesh...he makes a lot of noise calming down.

And what is that he's doing? Wha...wha...he's massaging his head? It looks as if he's trying the squash his head. Victoria couldn't help but giggled softly(probably not that soft). She tried to read her book again but she found herself interrupted by funny images of the boy sitting next to her squeezing and squashing his head into different sizes. Heehee...the square one was the funniest...

Did Jonathan hear someone giggle? Jonathan turned his focus on the person inches away from him. A girl. Jonathan glared at her. What's her problem? He wasn't doing anything funny and last time he checked, the common had nothing fun going on, right?! She must be crazy. Yeah. Definitely.

Jonathan didn't want to argue with her or rather tease her for that fact. He doesn't even know who she was in the first place. So why bother right?! Jonathan faced the fire place and scoffed. Yeah, he wanted her to hear that.

After her little talk with Katrina upstairs, Cass excitedly rushed down to the common room, ready to start her day in a positive - maybe, menacing in a way - light. Either way, at least she stopped being a blubbering idiot hours ago.

She descended the stairs and stopped when she saw Jonathan siting by the fire. Well damn him for taking her favorite spot...oh well, it wasn't as if she was going to die without it or whatever.

The blonde then chose a spot away from the fire and on one of the ottomans around the room as she tucked her feet underneath her, brought out a copy of Witch Weekly and waited for Freya or Fee to arrive...She really needed to talk to them.

After wondering around the grounds it seems a very good idea to sit in front of the fire in the Slytherin common room even though their dorm was in the dungeon but it still really warm. Freya was on the way towards her favorite spot when she saw a very familiar blonde hair girl sitting alone. "CASS!" she rushed toward her bestie and hugged her. "I miss you. I haven't seen you in ages."

"Freya!" Cass exclaimed happily as she dropped her magazine and hugged the girl fiercely "Where have you been?!" Seriously, who would want to stay outside at this temperature? It was absolutely freezing outside!!

Then she smiled sheepishly and said "I've missed you too, but I was sick, remember? You might have gotten ill too if I stayed around you guys." She explained with a laugh "But, I'm fine now, don't worry." She even climbed all the way to the observatory this morning, that's how fine she felt.

Victoria raised her eyebrows. Did the boy just looked at her, and ignored her? He did not just do that! Who does he think he is? Carrying that stupid attitude around? Ugh...Victoria hated those people...those think-they're-all-that-people. And is he trying to play cool on her? Well then he has picked the wrong person!

Fine. If this random Slytherin boy in the common room wants to play cool, then playing cool is what he'll get.

Victoria buried herself more deeply into her book...well...at least she's trying. She couldn't help looking at the boy's way to see what he's doing. It's not all easy ignoring someone you want to kick in the shin.

Emily Walked i nwith ht eothers for the first time and was compleatly blown away her breath was taken ..... it was the most amaizingest thing in the worldddd <3

"I've been around. Need some fresh air." More like freeze air than fresh air but she need it more or less.

"Oh yeah. But I'm glad that you're better now because the castle is quieter without you around." Freya told Cass. "And not to mention that I didn't have my bestie to gossip with." she chuckled. "So what's up?"

"Fresh air?" Cass repeated her tone filled with disbelief and surprise "More like frozen air, darling." She said with a chuckle. Seriously, was there any air out there left that wouldn't freeze her insides into a bunch of icicles?

"Well, I'm sure everyone else managed to make up for the noise that I usually make." The blonde sated with a laugh, it was good to have her best friend back, well, one of them at least. Fee was still missing in action. Where could that girl be? "I know! I totally missed you!" She exclaimed, encasing the girl into another fierce hug.

Then she shrugged and frowned when Freya asked what was up with her these days. "Oh, you know. The usual drama." The blonde answered dully as she glared at the direction of the fireplace for a fraction of a second befoe returning her attention to her fellow blonde. Seriously, will drama ever stop following her around?

Maddy giggled at the girl who seemed compleatly blown away by the room. "It's cool isnt it?" Maddy said "especially how were under water".

Freya couldn't help to laugh when Cass mentioned about the frozen air. "Yeah you could say that but I still need it." she shrugged. With all those things going on her life she need something to cool her mind.

"Nah. No one can managed that noise you always making." she joked and laughed along with Cass. "And I you." she told her bestie. "By the way hun, have you seen Fee around?" she asked. It seems this year the three of them rarely see each others.

"But without drama life will be soooo boring." Not a big drama mind you maybe just a little one.

Aurora sauntered into the common room. Sure, that detention had been horrible, but it had given her an excuse for the longest shower in the history of mankind. Her cheeks were rosy and her hair was fluffy and she had that just-out-of-the-shower feeling. And she'd used a lovely lavender soap and it was filling her nostrils as she flopped into a comfy seat near the fire, her new dress floating around her.

And, no delay, Sebastian had followed her down from the dormitories and jumped up onto her knees. The fluffy white kitten had hardly left her alone since she'd got him and was possibly the most caring animal she'd ever come across. Salvatore didn't like him... but then, when did a lizard ever like a cat anyway?

As Kennedy entered the common room the first thing his green eyes did was look for Aurora. He knew she had detention and wanted to make sure she was okay. The stories he heard about Lafay weren't that nice. Plus, he didn't know what wizards detention would be like since there was magic allowed.

As he scanned the room be spotted a red head that was undoubtedly Aurora's. He went and sat next to her, catching the smell of lavender. "Hey," he said with a smile. "How was detention?" She seemed fine to him.

"To cool your head?" Cass guessed as she eyed the girl knowingly. You did not become best friends with someone for four years and not know their little quirks "Why did something happen?"

Then she laughed and said "I guess, I'm just too destructive to copy." But of course, a lot of other students were as chaotic as her...even more. "I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing." Then she shook her head regretfully as her large hazel eyes raked the common room, lingering on the entrance or the dormitory stairs, hoping that a certain glitter Slytherin would walk out from them. "Nope. I haven't seen her since..well, I'm not sure when I last saw her." Come to think of it, Christopher was also asking about her...and well, she simply assumed that she was with Hugo. "Maybe she's with Hugo?" She suggested with a shrug, seriously, that excuse could only be used so many times before you doubt it yourself.

"Yes, but it's getting rather tiring, don't you think?" The young blonde asekd with a tired smile as she sank into the plush sofa "I mean, I've been dealing with stuff like this, can't I get a break?"

Then she huffed and asked tersely "Do you know what's going on with me right now?" Not waiting for an answer, she plowed on "Jonathan, dumped me for Kurumi." She stated as a frown formed on her face "Don't get me wrong, their happiness means a lot to me, and I absolutely adore Kurumi...but couldn't he have the decency to tell me? After all, he had been...wooing me since summer, and the fact that I was sick and didn't talk to people much wasn't a reason! He could have approached me now, but no. Not a word." She said breathlessly as her eyebrows furrowed together in frustration "and to make matters worse, everywhere I go, they're there! Mind you, I'm not stalking them." She rolled her eyes before continuing "It's absolutely mad!"

Then she took a deep breath as she worked to calm herself down. "Sure, drama can add spice to life, but not this time." Seriously, she could handle a lot of things, but not being dumped for another when you've been strung along. It reminded her too much of her parents.

Angelina saw a girl walk into the common room with an amazed face looking around everywhere. She smiled and walked over to her to say, "Nice huh?"

Aurora was looking at the little white ball of fur in her lap, tickling his belly, when someone sat next to her. Oh... her eyes lit up as she caught sight of Kennedy. "Hello." she said, smiling. She hadn't really seen him properly since Christmas and well... she had wanted to.

Oh, detention... Aurora pulled a face and shrugged. "It was horrible!" she said, a little scowl on her face. "She made us sit in glass boxes and then covered us in the stuff they put in stink bombs." she explained, shivering a little at the thought.

But she didn't want to talk about that... she wanted to talk about Christmas. They'd been avoiding the subject for ages now and it was making her nervous. What if he didn't... What if she had... what if... Argh! It was making her stomach flutter just thinking about it. And it didn't help that it tied itself in knots every time she saw him...

"Well, beside that I can't play quidditch this term because of my leg injury and there's a possibility that my parents will get divorce this summer. Nothing else happen." she shrugged.

"Its a good thin. Trust me." She told Cass. "The noise I mean not the destructive thingy." she added. Oh, so Cass hadn't seen Fee around too? Why it seems that term after term they rarely met each others? "Yeah maybe she's with him." Why every times they couldn't find Fee they always come out with that? But that was the only logical answers.

Before the blonde could answer Cass question, her bestie already telling her what's going on in her life this term. Jonathan did WHAT?! Blink. Blink Did she heard her right? Freya could feel her jaws dropped when Cass told her the whole Jonathan and Kurumi thing. "How come he did that to you?!" The nerve of that boy! He was wooing her besties all summer and suddenly dumped her for someone else?! Next time she see him, she'd make sure he will taste a piece of her mind.

"Oh. I'm so sorry hun." The blonde said sincerely as she hugged the girl once more. Honestly, she hadn't really noticed Freya's leg injury. Seriously. She looked absolutely fine. And about her parents, she knew how that felt, but she also knows it would pass "Well, whatever you need, I'm here for you." She said with a reassuring smile, patting at the other blonde on the shoulder comfortingly. Freya was tough. She was going to be ok.

Then she grinned at her and said "Thanks, but I'm trying to be more...quiet this term. More subdued." Then she sighed and rolled her eyes "She's always around Hugo." She said crossly, honestly, she loved that Fee was happy, but why does she always have to be with him? Weren't they important too?

Then she placed two hands in front of her and tried to sooth the girl "Calm down." She said with a light laugh "You're ending up madder than I am!" Then she shrugged, "I'm fine. I mean, if they're happy, who am I to begrudge them of that?" She then looked down on her shoes and said "I just wished he'd let me know...but not like this." This was like her dad all over again...suddenly leaving for something better. Not that it mattered now.

Kennedy scrunched his up his nose. Stink bombs must have very foul things in them, but Aurora didn't stink...not that he was smelling or anything. That would be creepy. "Ew, the good thing is you're out now," he said, giving her a comforting smile.

He looked down at his hands. All day, Kennedy has been trying to come up with a good way to bring up what happened on Christmas. Now was probably the best time to bring it up, but he didn't know how. Or how Aurora would react. What if she didn't like him? What if she only did that because of the mistletoe? Kennedy shook his head, clearing all those questions from his head. The more he thought about it, the more he would coward away from this.

So, he stood up abruptly. "U-Um, wanna go talk somewhere else?" he asked, his cheeks already turning red. He didn't want others to hear them.

Aurora nodded, "Yeah, I had the longest shower ever." she said, shrugging. With lavender and almond stuff... mmmm, such a lovely smell... much more comforting to her tastebuds...

Aurora watched him looking at his hands... was he nervous..? What was he nervous about? About telling her he didn't like her? About telling her he did? Aurora was worrying about this and had stopped stroking Sebastian who saw his chance and leapt on to Kennedy's lap curling up on top of his hands.

And then he stood up, and Sebastian fell on the floor. Aurora spluttered with laughter a little. Then... well, here goes. "Sure, yeah. That'd be good." she said, standing up to join him. "Where did you have in mind?"

It was a very weird cat, but it was better than a pygmy puff. "At least you don't have pygmy puff" he said as he plopped down on the couch "Don't know how you girls can like those puffballs" he shook his head. "Good to know" he nodded, better be careful with the cats.

"Nice to meet you" he shook her hand "I'm Nikolas, fifth year". As far as he remembered he hasn't seen her around "So..." awkward silence "How you've been?" Facepalm.

Kennedy stifled a laugh when Sebastian fell. "Sorry, little dude," he said, petting him.

"U-Um, how about..." Trying not to think what he wanted to talk to her about he continued. "Y-You want to go walk at the pathways?" It was a nice place to talk...talk about things that needed talking. Like pronto.

The little white cat meowed mournfully and wrapped himself around Kennedy's feet. Right. This boy was going to have to love him now. He'd refused the first time and now Sebastian was going to have to force his love upon him. Oh, oh, oh, tickly! Sebastian rolled onto his back and then decided he was bored of Kennedy now and batted his hand away, running to try and clamber up Aurora's leg... then losing interest and playing with Kennedy's shoelaces.

Aurora raised her eyebrows at her kitten. "He's crazy." she said. "Yeah, let's go." She smiled and picked up Sebastian to stop him tripping up Kennedy - the poor boy was nervous enough already (and Aurora needed the fluffy to tickle to distract her from her crazy thoughts.)

Kennedy followed the cat with his eyes and smiled. He should present Puff to him. He wondered how that would go. He nodded his head at Aurora and turned toward the exit.
