On the far side of the dungeons is something that looks a little bit like a muggle bowling alley - minus all the flashing lights. Upon closer inspection you'll see that it is in fact exactly that. The lane is a short narrow one that widens when approaching the ancient pins - nine of which are arranged in a diamond shape on the alley. This isn't an ordinary game of bowling though, as there are NO bowling balls around - just a pile of shrunken heads! The closer you get to the pile of shrunken heads you can hear them jabbering nonsense and laughing. "Tis good fun!" exclaims one of the heads. "Don't be shy! Grab a head and give it a roll!" exclaims another.

"The room of requirement at the seventh floor, right? I've already there. My brother had told me when he was a student here too." said Raven excited. Then she got another strike again.
"So, you often play bowling at there? No doubt that you were expert in bowling."

Desiree watched as her white-haired friend got a strike "Woah Raven, you seem pretty good at this." with a sigh she gave in, she wasn't going to just stand on the sidelines. Picking up a head very slowly, she grimaced.
"Oi Hurry up!" it shouted "Ya come on we don't bite" said another "Speak for yourself" one piped up, overwhelmed by the talking she said somewhat loudly "Quiet!".. I need concentration."
She walked up a look of determination on her face, trying to make it seem like she knew what she was doing. Truth was.. she had never bowled before. She had been watching though, and it couldn't be that hard.. She gave the head a toss and it landed with a thud rolling very slowly down the lane and ending up in the gutter "Nice toss" the head shouted sarcastically. Well she tried.. "I think I'll need a little more practice" she said grinning at Raven.
"Not bad I think. Try again!" Raven then took another silly head.

"Wow, Good Job!" Em said, cheering the young slytherin on. Looking at the head Tori picked up. It was rather dirty looking. "Yeah, be careful with that thing. You might get so disease if it bites you." Although, she was sure the Healer, or Lafay would be able to fix her right up if it did nibble on her.
"Thanks," Tori said proudly, skipping back to grab her next shrunken head. "You know, they're not so bad with the gloves and all." With an evil giggle, she swung her latest one nice and close for Emmaleigh to see. They probably had fewer germs than Hufflepuffs, according to Lexi, but Tori was careful not to say that.
She lined up her next shot and let the head go with wild toss, glancing over her shoulder to see it knock down seven pins. Not bad, not bad. "You gonna try, Em?" she grinned at the younger Hufflepuff. "I'll even letcha borrow my gloves."
They were PINK!

Kelsey decided to throw one time, only. The Quidditch teams of Britain and Ireland are waiting for me, she thought. She rolled the head one time.Yes! She knocked down ten pins! She danced all the way back to the common room.
"Not bad I think. Try again!" Raven then took another silly head.
"HEY GIRL! CHUCK THE HEAD, GIRL! NOW!!"
"Okay, try again." she gave the head to Desiree.

Well she had thought it was pretty bad. Flinching a bit at the shouting head she reluctantly grabbed it. "Okay, Well here goes nothing.." She tried to aim this time and pulled her arm back and then swung it forward and let the ball go. It rolled down the lane and hit 7 PINS! "Yes!" she said a little too loudly, smiling she turned to Raven, handing her a head.
"Your turn, and how about we have a little competition?" she asked with a grin, Desiree always enjoyed some friendly competition even if she knew she was going to lose. "The other girl can join too if she wants, it's Rose right?" she asked turning to the girl. she thought she had heard her say that.. it would be rude not too seeing as she was bowling with Raven. Even if it meant Raven and her didn't stand a chance. (The Gryffindor seemed really good). Smiling a little she introduced herself and held out her hand "I'm Desiree."
Shrunken head bowling. Well, at least it would be a bit more interesting than just using normal heavy balls to knock down the pins. Stephen walked towards the little set thing and looked closely to the set up. "Where's Kat? She would actually dare to play this with me," the monster sighed, inching closer to the heads. Taking one into his hand, he found a free alley and rolled.
Split. Stephen got a split. "No wonder I don't like bowling in general," he chuckled to himself.

This. Was. So. Weird.
Bored in the Common Room, Aimée had decided to venture down to the dungeons. It was a party, and half the school had been talking about it, so she was hopeful that she'd bump into someone she knew. However vaguely. Hey, maybe she'd just bump into someone.
Scanning the room, the blonde began to wander inbetween the people there, and ended up near a bowling lane... of some description. Eyeing the 'balls', she grimaced. "Zat's just.. creepy." She almost shuddered involuntarily as she murmured, but before she did, a voice made her spin around and smile at the person who'd just bowled. "You're not the best, are you?"
What? He'd got a split.

Wiping his hand on his robes, Stephen heard a voice, most likely talking to him. Turning around and smiling, Stephen patted Aimee on the top of her head. "Obviously. But at least your fingers don't get stuck in these, unlike the other ones," he laughed. "It's a miracle you're out of the common room. You're usually up there, reading or being all depressed and it takes days to make you come out into the sunlight," he teased, hoping she'd catch onto the joke.
"Or the library, which I never step foot in. I don't even know what the place looks like,"

Aimée turned slightly, from watching the heads chatting noisily to watching Stephen wipe his hands on his robe. She squirmed a little as he patted her head, and ducked from underneath his hand. "I suppose not," she said, as she began to smooth her blonde curls under her fingers. Why he enjoyed messing up her hair she'd never understand. She didn't like having her hair messed up, it wasn't nice, it made it all messy. "'Ey, I am not depressed," she said a little huffily, but she had caught onto the joke.
At least, she was hoping it was a joke. She didn't want to think of it not being a joke. "You don't? But.. you should go in zer, it's good." She would take him in there one day, she would force him in. Heheh.

"Are you sure? Well, you should get out a lot more instead of being all cooped up," Stephen laughed, placing his arm around her shoulder. He could do that, right? Well, he did anyway. Aimee knew he liked her so there wasn't much hiding to do anyway. "What is so grand about the library? It's just a big pace filled with books," he asked, dragging blondie towards on empty alley. But then again, if he wanted to go for a certain career after Hogwarts, he'd probably have to spend a lot of time in the library.
What a drag.
"Come to think of it, I might have to spend more time there. But before that happens, it's your turn to play bowling," he said, taking a shrunken head and placing it in her hand.

Presley knew full well how terrible she was in Arithmancy. After all, she'd gotten an E. That was horrible, as compared to her other O's. The only grade that wasn't a perfectly formed circle. E's had loose endings, three of them. They were ugly letters. O's were perfect. They were a closed circle, the only perfect shape. Luna did well in Arithmancy? Presley avoided narrowing her eyes. It wasn't Luna's fault that Presley was a failure. But Luna didn't need to rub it in! Presley was getting paraniod. She took a deep breath. If I'd gotten an O, I'd tell her too, even if she'd only gotten an E. It's not bragging. Calmed down, she focused on the next question. The Herbolgy lesson. At this subject, Pres brightened. She loved Herbology. Last year it had been sort of a love-hate. This year, she simply loved it. "I was there. Except with my arm," Presley indicated her cast and sling, "It was more difficult than it should have been. But Sierra helped me a little, so it was way better." Her stupid arm, that prevented her from doing anything.
When Luna laughed, Presley did too. Luna had a catching laugh. "I had a verbal spar wih one. She seemed really intelligent. But the rest? I have no idea what they think they signed up for, but obviously not Hogwarts."
Was she alright?
Is it somthing I said?
She smilied at her ''Everything alright?'' she asked ''Yeah exept the factof the pixies flying EVERYWHERE'' she laughed ''I have a lump of hair missing so I have to tie it up so no one would notice'' she laughed again this year she was more funny and less time for friends which really annoyed her but she still had Pres right? ''Yeah I don't either.... I heard they all signed up for quidditch but... None of them made the team I don't think anyways Gwen says she'd probably die before any of the first years made the team or somthing else I forget...''

Jade walked over to what resembled a bowling alley, knowing that she was quite good at it, she just had to see what it was. And in fact, it resembled some bowling lanes but as she stepped closer, people were throwing shrunken heads down the lanes. Hah, now this sounded like fun. She walked over to one of the empty lanes and grabbed a shrunken head. It started talking and she shook her head. Now she knew she wasn't imagining this. "I wonder if you could push yourself into making all the pins fall down." She said to the shrunken head. The head started talking again and she just ignored it, she wanted to bowl now.
She grabbed the head and swung her arm back, then forward; watching as the head rolled down the lane. However, it only hit one of the pins. What was this?!? She was good at almost every sport related thing she tried. "It must not like me." She muttered to herself, staring at the pins, with her arms crossed; trying to think of a reasonable answer.
