It wasn't a very good secret passageway. It was a horrible one. But, Sarah had still felt the need to explore it.

She ran a hand along the wall as she passed through it. Blegh. She hoped that was just moss...

William had yet again gone around exploring more of the castle. It had been almost two months since he arrived at Hogwarts, and he still only knew most of the upper towers of the castle. He had rarely gone down into the Dungeons. But as he walked down this dank, dark passageway, he was beginning to think he was lost. His footsteps eerily echoed along the rough walls, and he could hear a faint dripping noise from somewhere ahead. There were no torches down this passageway, it seemed, and the farther he went along it, the darker and darker it got. As the first-year almost reached pitch blackness, he pulled out his wand from the depths of the pockets of his robes, and held it above his head.
"Lumos," he muttered, which didn't help for his voice echoed louder than the volume of which he had said the incantation. His wandtip ignited, which gave Will a good five feet radius of light. As he walked a bit further, he began to hear foosteps that didn't match his own. He spun around, and saw no one behind him. Standing still, he could hear the footsteps coming from ahead of him. He rushed forward a bit, and, with the help of his lit wand, discovered the unknown foosteps belonged to a fellow Ravenclaw girl.
"Hello," he said before realizing how frightening it must've been for him to have said that in a dark passageway behind her.

Jez heard voices in the passage in front of her. She frowned. How many people knew about this place? This was a secret passage - emphasis on the secret! "Lumos," she murmured, making light spring to the end of her wand. She saw Sarah, the girl she'd met at the library, and that Ravenclaw boy she'd seen at the feast - she wasn't sure of his name. "Hello," smiled Jez. "Sorry if I interrupted something." Not that that last sentence implied anything ... She inspected the walls carefully. "This is definitely the passage Keegan was talking about ... There it is!" She held her wand light close to the wall to read the words scratched there.

To Jez, or Than, whoever finds this first - don't bother going down there. It's blocked. Disappointing, but whatever, there's more secret passages where this came from! Keegan
Jez took out her quill, and started scratching a note under her older brother's.

Kelsey had decided to take a walk around the dungeons. She heard there was a secret passage somewhere. She saw it,"Wow. Some good passage."She said sarcastically. Suddenly, she saw a girl writing on the wall of the passage."What are you doing?"Kelsey gasped.

Maddy was walking out of the Slytherin common room to visit the headmasters office, and she decided to go down this new passageway, she could not resist exploring! I wonder where it leads she thought.

Alexia was wandering around the castle, which she found really exciting, she loved adventures. while she was still walking around she saw a small passage, she went in to explore it, she took a few steps forward when she saw a girl, which appeared to be a Slytherin too, Alexia went to her and asked "Hi, um I'm just wondering, where does this passage lead?" she asked politely,while looking curiously at the walls

Jez grinned at the Slytherin. "Writing. My brother and I have this thing going. He find the passages, leaves me a note, and then when I find it I leave one under his for my little brother to find when he comes here. Look." She showed the girl her finished message.

Jez smiled at the note, already picturing Than's under it. Knowing him, it'd be something dorky.

Violet had ducked into the secret passage to try to get some privacy to work on changing her hair back to its normal colour. Making it green to match those stupid gloves had seemed a good idea on the spur of the moment, but now she realized that she didn't want to walk around the rest of the day with bright, lime-green hair. Besides, she was tired of shouting in the passageway (what kind of stupid rules were those, anyway?)

Just in case she messed it up, though, she thought she'd try the counterspell away from the other students in the corridor. It didn't matter that the passageway didn't go anywhere, she didn't need much room for this.

Stepping back into the shadows, she took out her wand, tapped her head twice, and said, "In-TAR-is!" Hmm, was it back to its normal dark brown colour? She should have brought a mirror! Anyway, it was too dark back here to tell. She wondered if she could sneak back into her room, or one of the lavatories, and check.

Harlow was walking back to the common room. Her giant poof of hair was bright yellow and she thought the color was caught fetching. Plus she hadn't really mastered the color changing spell to change it back to its original color.

She found herself in a unfamiliar passageway and was confused as to where she was. harlow thought there was only one way to get to the common room. "Is this where the cow jumps over the moon?" she asked looking around at the passageway and scratching her eyebrow.

Nick had been wondering in circles for a couple minutes (the dungeons were dark and confusing in his opinion) when he heard someone they had to have been coming from the direction he had started from, he hoped as he walked towards the voice. " Helloooo?" He called when he finally reached the lit part of the Dungeon it looked familar again and smiled when he said Harlow.

Harlow jumped a foot in the air when someone called out to her, "Great galloping hipporgriffs." she looked around for the culprit, and relaxed when she saw it was Nicky. "You scared me half to death. What are you doing here?" she asked leaning against him for support.

" I was ummm" he thought over what exactly yo say then decided the truth was the best way to go. " I got distracted looking at the portraits and suits of armor the next thing i knew I was in a dark part of the dungeons I never seen before then i heard you and figured you was in the direction I started and I was right i recognize this part of the dungeon."

Harlow scratched a point on her button nose as Nicky explained why he was in this mysterious part of the dungeons. "What is this?" she asked stepping around him and peering into the gloom. "Nox," her wandtip light up. "Want to go see what's back there?" she asked. They would be more brave together,

" I don't know," He said with a shrug " Sure," He said as he lit his own wand as well and started back through the corridor into the direction he had just come from.

Maybe he was not a dungeon dweller yet Josh could very well remember this place since Evelyn took him there before. There had seemed to be no one around at that time so it should have been all deserted and safe this time as well. So, still holding the Slytherin girl's hand, he walked in this not-so-secret-but-dark-and-deserted-as-a-secret-place-should-be corridor, feeling the tensing presence of the potion sample in his pocket.

''This is it, i guess'' he said once he stopped at somewhere in the middle of the dark corridor. Or was he supposed to walk further? No, nope. This was quite enough.

His grip on her hand getting a bit tighter, he took the little vial of Hate Potion out and looked at his girlfriend. There was no need to say a word at this point, he supposed. Or was there? This thing had already started to mess with his mind even before he experienced it.

From the way they were headed, Evelyn knew where they were going. She'd been down here plenty of times whether to be alone with herself or...to be alone with Josh. Hehe. Either way, the thought of taking this potion someplace where it echoes was not so appealing to her.

Slowing down her pace as Josh did, she stopped next to him, glancing back the way they came. This was even nerve-wracking then before. Feeling the two vials of potion in her hand, she suddenly remembered that she forgot to leave one in the potions classroom. Yet with his grip tightening on her hand, the Slytherin girl looked up to Josh...or at least tried to. It was rather dark down here.

This is it?

Nodding somewhat, she made a soft noise of agreement. "This is it." she echoed quietly, holding up one of the potion vials she had for him to take. Yes, this was it.

His eyes were on the potion and his hand held Evelyn's like he never wanted to let her go. Well...he did not want to let her go anyway fearing she might run away after taking this potion and he'd never be able to find her again. Hate or love he wanted her to be with him and never leave...unless of course he would happen to get angry and lose control of his acts while under the effect of this potion.

And yes that was what he feared. Hopefully, he also knew Evelyn was not a defenseless person at all but he would NEVER forgive himself if he even attempted doing something like that. So this was...troubling.

Yet he and they needed to be brave and get over this as quickly as possible so they could go back to loving each other as soon as possible.

''Let's deal with this.'' so he said his tone slowly gaining the confidence back ''I believe...what we have for each other...is stronger than any other kind of potion. We can deal with this.''

For the small moment of silence that issued after she agreed, the sudden question that popped up in her mind was rather distracting. Did Lafay say how long this potion would last? She couldn't remember...

In fact, she didn't want to remember. She knew she'd think about it the entire time and that would just make the time go by slower and slower, no matter how different she'd feel about her boyfriend. Smiling somewhat after hearing Josh speak, she turned her gaze back up to his shadowed face, letting that butterfly feeling linger just a bit before she leaned up and kissed him. He was right. They could deal with this.

Though the kiss only lasted for a moment, she would TRY to keep it in mind while the potion took it's effect. "Alright..." Now or never. "I'm ready."

The moment was approaching making his mind more and more disturbed with the thoughts of possibilities of what he might do under the effect of the potion yet he was, on the other hand, determined to believe that they could deal with this. He believed his love for her could beat any potion that any witch or wizard had created and should create. He just needed to be strong-willed and control his acts or he could maybe hex himself if he happen to fail, if that was possible, of course.

When the word 'hex' has just appeared in his mind, the Gryffindor felt Evelyn's lips on his all of a sudden. Now this was the irony and it was an OBVIOUS SIGN that they could beat this. Feeling all relieved for that moment, he kissed her back while it lasted and once it was over, he leaned his forehead against hers and gently took one of the potions in her hand then handed his to her.

''This is just another challenge we are going to win through.''

And right after those words, he took a step back, uncorked the potion drank it all in once act before his mind could resist it.

While this was no patronus they had to do, she would keep these happy thoughts in her mind; even if she didn't like it. Then the thought that perhaps she wouldn't like it kept bugging her, and she was becoming paranoid even before drinking the potion. That should only happen AFTER the effects have warn off, right?

Taking a deep breath, she took the vial that Josh had, trading it with one of her own. Before she knew it though, he had taken a step away after he spoke and drank the potion. She watched him for a moment, the sinking sensation in the pit of her stomach making itself known in only a few short seconds.

Looking down to the two potions she held, one with her name tag on it and the other being Josh's, she took another breath and uncorked the vial that held Josh's, and drank it...staring at the ceiling of the dungeon passageway as she waited for the effects to take place.

She didn't have to wait long...

Looking around and blinking at the darkness of the passage way, Josh got confused for a moment or so as he felt...nothing change at all. The Slytherin girl had been holding two vials, maybe one happened to have only...some other liquid...and he had taken that? Or maybe she failed to brew the potion correctly...

The moment his gaze caught her sight, however, a weird emotion that he had never felt upon seeing her filled inside his mind and heart and it annoyed him a great deal. Not to mention that it was...painful as well. So well...that made it even more annoying.

...did she ever think she could fail anything anyway? Dark brown eyes getting narrowed at the presence of the she-snake. He remained in silence and just kind of...stared at her while he felt the emotion sink in.

The Pygmy Puff didn't have claws, but it sure had teeth!! Incisors clamped down on MJ's fingers, arm, ear lobe... She tried to beat it off, as she ran down the passageway. But Muffin wasn't done yet. Back on her head, he dived into her scalp, teeth first. MJ screamed in pain and knocked the Puff to the floor.

Muffin made a half-hearted charge at MJ's feet, then stopped, looking around blearily. What was he doing? He looked up at MJ, who was watching him fearfully, her back against the cold, wet stone of the passage wall. Muffin made a couple of unsteady hops towards her. MJ whimpered slightly. This homework was the worst she'd had so far! Her new pet sat on her foot, quite calm now. He looked up at her as if he wanted to be picked up.

With Muffin on her hand, MJ realised that the Potion had worn off now. But wasn't it supposed to last twenty minutes, not five? Maybe it was because she'd made it wrong, or because she'd tested it on a Pygmy Puff, who didn't know the meaning of the word hate. She would try it on her sister, as she'd planned, just to make sure. If it went wrong then too, she'd have to ask the Professor what she could possibly have done. She looked down at Muffin. He hadn't taken his eyes off her. The little green furry thing trembled and whined. MJ tickled him under the chin and made him chirp. "Sorry sweet, Potions homework, don't y'know! I'll try it on Rose later,"

It was then that MJ began to take in her surroundings. Where was she? When her Hate Potion had kicked in on the Puff, she'd just dived down the nearest passageway.

A conversation on the wall between Jez and her older brother... So this was the passageway then. Not very exciting if it didn't go any where!!

Looking down from the ceiling, just as Josh's gaze landed on her, Evelyn frowned momentarily out of confusion. She had not felt any different about him before yet slowly but surely, her frowned turned into a scowl.

Why was she scowling again?

Hmmm, look at the way the shadows lay across his tan skin. It made him look so...unappealing. She stared back at him as the silence grew between them, and after what seemed like an eternity, the Slytherin girl scoffed loudly and started to walk back the way they had come.

Meh.

His eyes got narrowed even more and he felt even more and utterly annoyed when she stared back at him...like that...as if she was looking at the most disgusting thing on earth. Josh was ready to make her be aware of the fact that actually she could be called that if she had happened to voice that thougt yet she was all silent and...

...and...

...she just started to walk away.

What? What was that now? Did not she know that Josh HATED being ignored and he hated being ignored by people he hated even more. Or...she possibly knew and was doing that on purpose.

Rushing forward after her, the Gryffindor caught the she-snake's right wrist and forced her to stop.
