Justin had decided that he would go and check out his room. He wondered what the rooms looked like. As he walked in he took a quick look around and just stood there and took it all in. It was amazing. With a big smile on his face Justin walked over to his trunk and began to unpack his things. Just then his owl, Perseus , began to fuss and he decided to let him out of his cage so he could stretch for a bit.

The first thing he did was come to take Thaddeus to his dormitory. It looked mighty lonely, actually, because he had not seen Damien in there, nor anyone for that matter, but he knew he was bound to come given the fact that his things were in there.

As he made his way back to the Common Room, he noticed something. Two single knocks on the door would alert the boy, that looked like a first year, of his presence, "You know, you can let your owl roam free around the grounds. They're smart, and never get lost," they also hunt for themselves, which works out pretty fine.

Jory yawned as he headed for his dorm. He hoped the second year dorms would be like the first year ones. He reached the dorm and pushed the door open. There was no one else. Jory wondered if Oakey was still downstairs. Tobias, Jory's eagle owl was perched on the window sill ready to go hunting. The owl gave a hoot and flew into the night sky.
Jory yawned again as he rummaged through his trunk looking for his pajamas.

Justin looked at the tall boy and said, " Oh, thanks. I didn't know that. The name's Justin, Justin Wellheart. Pleased to meet you. " As he introduced himself he stuck his hand towards him.

Treyen smiled at the boy, and nodded once, "You can still keep it in the dormitory, really, but they kind of like to be flying around more than one would think," or at least his owl did. Actually, his sister's owl as well, and all the ones he'd seen seemed to be better off while they flew around. Birds weren't meant to be caged, really.

Justin? Oh, good, nice to meet him as well. "I'm Treyen, one of your Prefects," he said, as he shook the boy's hand, "If there's anything at all that you need, questions or whatever, feel free to tell me," he nodded twice.

"Are you liking Hogwarts so far?" because he was a first year, right? Therefore, first time at Hogwarts.

" actually, I find the pace a bit hard to keep up with. yup, I'm a first year. I did make the House team though. " Justin said excitedly. Then he turned to let Persius; his owl out of his cage. " Go on . Have fun, but be safe, Persius." Persius gave Justin brush on the cheek and flew off out through the castle.

Yes. Treyen knew what that was like. He nodded. "It is. My first year went by so fast, I hardly remember a thing of it. But you'll get used to this." The boy will get used to it, yet he was well-aware of how overwhelming being in Hogwarts was. It may take some time.

"Oh, the Quidditch team? Congratulations!" he must be one great player, indeed. Isobel only chose the best.

He watched as the boy allowed his owl to roam free, and then smiled. He was reminded on his own owl, one he should be seeing soon.

" Thanks, I tried for seeker , but she hasn't assigned any positions yet. " Justin said with a yawn. " I'm gonna let Persius hunt for a bit and take a nap. Will he know how to get back in? "

Ooooh, and Seeker? Yeah, Treyen wasn't going to miss playing that position for sure. Hopefully, the one who was chosen to do it will do a good job. Nah, he was sure that the one Isobel would choose will do a great job. So as long as the player didn't get severely injured it was all okay.

"Best of luck, then," he said, with a smile. Really, though, whatever position he got, best of luck.

And Justin was tired. Of course he was. "I'll leave you to rest, then...and, don't worry, he'll find his way." There was a reassuring smile before Treyen started to walk away from the dormitory.

Before Jory went to sleep, he decided to practice the spells in Transfiguration just to be sure he really got the hang of it. He pulled his wand out of his bag and sat crossed leg on his bed.

Jory pictured his hair extremely curly, tapped his head once and said "Fel-in-tas!" . He wasn't surprised to see himself with longish curly hair in a window's surface.
Picturing his original hair, Jory tapped his head twice and said ''Int-ar-is!'' .

Now for the colour. This was the troublesome one for him. But he did eventually get it at the Lake this afternoon. Jory tapped his head once once again, picturing bright orange and said "Ristaris!" He remembered to put extra emphasis on the middle.

Looking at the window again, Jory saw himself with orange hair. Feeling pleased with himself Jory turned his hair back to normal. Now, he felt better about the spells.
