Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Carriwitchet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes.
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby. | |

She saw what he mouthed at her and smiled brightly. "Yes, it is. And Headmaster Tate said something along those lines. Treated me very rudely he did. I was appalled by his behaviour. He is supposed to help enrich our lives, not tear us down like that. That's okay though. Really. I will show him. Perhaps one day I will come back here and take HIS job," she said snottily. HMPH HEADMASTER. "Oh it matters not. Either way I will succeed in whatever I choose to do. I have fought too hard for too long not to make something of myself and he can... well he can kiss my bum."

Scooting closer to Orlando she lay her head on his shoulder and sighed. "I know what you mean about feeling alone sometimes, though. Even surrounded by people I sometimes feel all alone. It's the ones that you want the most that you miss... that makes you feel alone, yeah?"

He was honestly surprised, hearing who had told her down. Headmaster Tate was suppose to HELP the students. Not bring them down. And bringing down Lexi - when she already dealt with too much crap send against her. "You will, definitely, Lex. And yes, he would watch. We all will. Because .. you are like a storm - just waiting to take on the world. I have faith in you .. I know you will do GREAT. No matter what anyone says!"
Yep. Orlando would forever cheer on Lexi. She was one of his best friends. He would never not back her up!
Letting his head lightly lean on hers when she rested hers against his shoulder, Orlando took her hand and intertwined his fingers with hers. "Yeah .. exactly that, Lex. It's a terrible feeling."

It made Lexi a little sad to think that even in adulthood she would have to deal with people who wanted to judge her without really knowing her. Or worse still people that doubted her despite all she had been through and the fact that she was still here moving on. It made no sense. She was a survivor. Always had been. Failure was NOT an option for Lexi Kennedy. Not at all. "That means a lot to me, Orlando. Indeed it does."

"Did you... are you having trouble with Ryden?" she asked softly as she snuggled into his arm a bit. Problems like that -- Lexi had her share of experience with. "Do you want to talk about it?" She wouldn't force him to. Not at all.
Grinning to herself she pulled her wand from its holster. After a moment of concentration she conjured a bunch of gerbera daisies; All shades of pink. Sniffing them once for good measure she then handed them toward Orlando. "Here, flowers always cheer me up a bit. Especially pink ones," she said with a GIGGLE.

Ryden was GONE? Oh no! Lexi instinctively wrapped her arms around Orlando and SQUEEZED. Poor guy. " Oh I am so sorry, Orlando." She had no idea what else she could say, really. Nothing would make it better, either. She could be there to support him, that was all really.
Then she couldn't help but laugh. " It was pink flowers or I could make it snow in here... I opted for the flowers," she joked. " They smell nice, though, yeah?" Teehee.

Selina ran into the Common Room. Her Gryffindor sneakers skirted across the floor of the Common Room as she made a quick stop. She looked a little frantic in her total appearance. Everything she was wearing screamed lioness and her face was painted with Gryffindor warpaint. She was ready to destroy this pep rally! If anyone was the maskot for Gryffindor pride it was the third year lioness currently darting her eyes around the room.
She saw that a lot of the Gryffindor were already in the Common Room aimlessly going about their everyday tasks, but they had a pep rally to go and support.
She jumped up on the couch of the Common Room and whistled really loudly to get everyone's attention, "OI YOU LOT! HEAD DOWN TO THE PITCH FOR THE PEP RALLY!!! WE GOT SOME HOUSE SUPPORT TO SPORT!"
