Sean walked into the classroom. DADA wasn't one of his favorite classes, but he didn't hate it. He just hoped he could get a question right and hit up the professor for some points for Ravenclaw.

Sage walked into the DADA classroom. She was very nervous, she kept double checking her supplies and fiddling with her shirt. She looked for a open desk and found a seat next to a gryffindor who she hadn't met yet...

"Hello! Do you mind if I sit here? My name's Sage. Are you a first year?" Sage asked her.

Well. This was one class Tori was completely unsure about. Hmm. The classroom seemed to have a very deliberate set-up, what with all the semi-circles and the swirly chairs. Verrrrrrrrry interesting.

Tori picked out a chair near the front and sat down, crossing her feet at the ankles. She tugged A Study of Recent Developments in Wizardry out of her bag and started reading, looking up every so often to see if the Professor had arrived yet.

Nope.

Not at all. Take a seat! My name is Sophie! I am a first year. So are you going to try out for Quidditch?

Sigh. "Not really," Tori looked up from her book, closing it with a snap. "It's kinda old stuff. See, the title says Recent, but really it means like within the last 200 years. Is that recent, I ask you? No."

Professor Scabior was a LIAR. "But hi. How are you?"

Ali went alone to another class, when he walked by the professor he said his hello "Hello Professor" he said while looking for a seat.

William hopes Witsy comes to DADA class.

Nathaniel strolled into the room. He was more excited for DADA now than he thought he was before. Noticing the glass desk, he smiled and gave a short laugh. That's actually really cool. he thought, as he found a seat near the front.

Kurumi's head spun around when she heard AV's voice and she offered him a smile...and a giggle. "The Professor isn't here yet," Kurumi said, shaking her head. Unless... "Although...she COULD be here if she cast a Disillusionment spell on herself..."

Now that was something to think about.
Kurumi merely blinked at Josh. "The girls made you?" she asked, cocking an eyebrow. "How could they make you wear heels? Did they put a curse on you or something?" In all the years she had known Josh, no one ever MADE him to do anything - unless he secretly wanted to. "I think you just wanted to prove that you could wear heels."

She stuck out her tongue. Master of Everything and not being able to wear heels? He wouldn't really be the master, right?

"Please tell me you brought another pair of shoes..."

Noticing an empty seat next to a young boy Minerva went over. "Do you mind if I sit here or are you expecting a friend?"

"I'm good." Hateya got out everything she hoped she'd need (i.e. just her wand), and swung her feet back and forth. One day, she'd be tall enough to reach the floor while her back was against the back of a chair. "I went for a walk around the grounds on the walkway railing. A girl from last year showed me how."

After another glance around to make sure the professor wasn't there yet, she asked, "Why are you reading it? If it's boring?"

Amber was ready for class, or at least she thought she was. This was her first class after all and would the magical world really be ready for her?? She smiled at the thought of actually creating magic with her wand, she had learned a few VERY simple spells before starting class today, but nothing she was good at all.

She sighed and took a seat at an empty desk. She pulled out some parchment an extra sharp quill and Wrote.

She wasn't sure if she was suppose to or not, but at least she was ready to take notes.

"There's a walkway railing? Is it up high?" And DANGEROUS? Tori stowed her book away while she talked and took out the same materials Hateya had on her desk: ie her wand and nothing else.

She could have laughed at how the Ravenclaw was looking around the classroom all suspiciously. "I kind of have to. The History of Magic professor himself gave it to me." And maybe, just maybe, a tiny part of Tori might have been interested in the subject and hoping to impress him in class. JUST A TINY PART.

Salander marched into the classroom fuming. Yes, for the first time he was actually attending a class not a happy Slytherin. He had the misfortune of passing by the hourglasses.... and thats all there is to it.

He plopped himself next to Lexi and crossed his arms before him, glaring at nothing in particular. He wished this class would get them to move around because he sure could use something to vent out his..... dissatisfaction.

Then he saw some odd movement at the corner of his eye... was that Josh????? The Slytherin's eyes shifts towards the floor. Blink. This has got to be some odd dream....

-- no he could still feel the throbbing angry pulse banging away on his temples. Definitely not a dream.

And unfortunately didnt put him much in a joking mood.

"It's about three and a half feet. Maybe four in some parts. But it's narrow." And she hadn't even wobbled once as she went. Clearly, an achievement to be proud of.

Hateya was impressed that a professor had specifically given Tori a book, and it showed on her face, until a thought occurred to her and a slight frown replaced it, "Did you want to read it? Or did he tell you you had to?"

Oooh. Now it was Tori's turn to wear an expression of admiration for her friend. "Neato. You'll have to show me after class." She nodded seriously and sighed again at mention of the book.

"Well... a little of both." Hmm, he'd never said she'd HAD to read it, but she DID need to get caught up on wizarding history. "I'm kind of... lacking in wizard history knowledge, so.... and Scabior knows my cousin, apparently..." However they had met. Hmmph.

"Oh." Oh. Hateya always just assumed that everyone knew about wizarding history, even though she herself didn't know all that much either. She was more interested in stuff happening now, and solving her own problems and puzzles, not reading about things that had already been resolved before her grandparents had been potty-trained.

"If you want to read it out loud to me later, you can. We can take turns. It makes it less boring." And they could giggle at all the silly-sounding names.

BAH! Unhappy Salander was NO fun. Ever. Lexi poked her bottom lip out and reached over to patpatpatpat his arm awkwardly. Seeee? No need to be unhappy. The world was FULL of morons... it just so happened that the vast majority attended Hogwarts. Heh.

"Want me to glue them shoes to the floor, babe?" she whispered and jerked her head to Master of Nothing.

First defense class of the year, and Presley had finally learned her lesson, she strolled in and took a seat in the very front row. That meant she could see better what was going on, and learn more efficiently. "Hello, professor!" she said cheerily, as she pulled out her book, parchment and quill. Hey,it never hurt to be ready to take notes. And Presley was always ready to take notes. She uncorked her ink bottle, and began her paper, by titling it.

Reading aloud could make boring things... less boring?

"Sure, I guess I could try that," Tori nodded. "Thanks."

She tapped her feet a little and turned around to look at the door, then back to the front of the classroom, then back to the door again. Satisfied that the professor was not here, Tori leaned in toward her friend.

"So whaddaya think of this professor? Did you SEE her boots at the feast?!" They'd had SPIKES. Tori needed a pair.

Gah! He was caught! "N-No, thanks," he said, his cheeks turning a light shade of red. His hair was much too short for that AND he was too manly to wear ribbons on his hair, even if they were his house colors.

He looked down at his parchment at her compliment and agreed. It was a nifty tree. "Really? It was supposed to be a broccoli," he smirked. Hehe. Weren't they like the same thing except the broccoli was like a mini-tree.
