Emily entered the glass room nervous but excited. She didn't know how she really felt about DADA, but everyone she knew seemed to love it and who was she to disagree?
She looked over to the desk to say good morning to the professor, but it was empty. Huh. Mabye they were running late?
She took a seat near the back and began to take out her things. Hopefully no one would sit next to her so she could sit in her own thoughts.

Girls...

Now Josh had started to think that they were going to be his end. He had always known that behind all the elegancy they each had an evil soul. And this making him walk in high heels, especially into a classroom where everyone could see it, was the ultimate proof of it. Yet, there was no way the boy was going to back away and let the girls win! So, though it was really difficult to walk with those shoes with high heels, not to mention it was kind of painful, Josh was going to prove that he could do it. There was nothing he could not do if he wanted to do it!

At first, he could hardly walk with them...yet later on he, at least, managed to take slow steps and kept walking to the DADA classroom with those careful, slow steps....only to see Cassie and that expression on her face. ''Don't even dare to laugh.'' the Gryffindor said stopping beside her to relax his feet some but even standing motionless with those heels was very annoying and difficult. ''Here. I wore what you wanted.'' the boy indicated the high heel and shorts. ''I won, right? Accept it.''

Eh...they had better walk in the classroom instead of having a convo before the door. ''Let's move. And i say it again; don't laugh!''

Damon entered the classroom, when was the last time he had been here.. must have been just last year but yet again it was time for his regular focus of learning about defense against the dark arts. Damon hoped he would learn a lot this term and just to show courtesy he would show extra attention during this class.

Ashley wandered around for a good while until he found the room, actually finding that he had accidentally stalked some people here. If he'd known where they were going in the first place, maybe he wouldn't have gotten lost trying to not accidentally stalk them. He could have followed properly.
Oh well. He'd made it, and it looked like the right room, so he went on in and took a seat, checking out the room and noting how different it was to the last class he was in. Of course it would be different, but he didn't expect it to seem like it wasn't even in the same building. That was interesting.

Ronnie had come ready to class, well as ready as she could be...she was really upset abotu her dad stil. But she couldn't let that affect her, she stil needed to be at school. Her dad wouldn't want her to not be happy.

She sighed and walked into the class room and put her books down and sat in a desk, looking around to see if she saw anyone who she knew.

Rose skipped into DADA. FINALLY! I get to do DADA! Stupid Lord Borr, this person better be good! Rose thought scornfully. She NEEDED to learn DADA. NEEDED. She took a seat and tooke out her Parchment and quills.

Alyssa walked into the D.A.D.A class and immediately spotted Penny sitting near the front. She quietly made her way and took a seat next to her. This was her favorite class and couldn't wait for the lesson to start.

She took out her textbook, parchment, ink and quill and sat quietly waiting for the Professor to start the class.

Jerrod calmly walked in and looked at all the people who sat there. This is probably the one. He thought. When Jerrod first joined Hogwarts he had been something of a nervous wreck but he had become more calm and cool by the days. This will probably be very fun.. Wonder what we will learn first? He thought and smiled a little.

Cael entered the classroom with barely concealed enthusiasm. He was so looking forward to learning defensive spells and, hopefully, even a little dueling when all was said and done.

Choosing a seat near the front of the classroom, he pulled out his text and a few rolls of crisp parchment, subtly arranging them until his desk was properly organized. Looking around, he hoped one of his friends would join him soon. It wouldn't do to save seats for too long, after all...

Cassie watched as Josh wobbled up the corridor in the heels to the DADA class. She couldn't stop the avalanche of giggles that followed seeing him but she tried to compose herself as he got to her. Oh it was classic and the best and funniest thing she had seen in a very long time. She looked him up and down taking in his appearance. He was mostly uniformed, school shirt house tie..pants...short pants *smirk* and very hot heels. But boy did he have hairy legs."You should consider shaving those things Josh." She smirked again and giggled."Alright I won't laugh...much."

She nodded in agreement with his suggestion and bit her lip to stop herself from giggling too much as she walked into the classroom with him. Without any further hold up Cassie strutted into the classroom ahead of Josh and winked at Marilyn. Oh the professor wasn't here yet...too bad she wouldn't get to see Josh strut his stuff..oh well a tleast everyone else would see.

Cassie plopped into the seat next to Marilyn and watched Josh wobble his way towards the seats.

Ooooh, Defence Against the Dark Arts?

This sounded like fun.

... unless there was some insane professor that had in mind to make them deal with Merlin knows what creatures of the dark. But anyway, all the negative thoughts had to be banished away in the farthest corner in Nora's mind, as she walked cheerfully into the classroom. She took a seat somewhere in the front, so she could have a better look at the curiously white board, that, obviously, had caught her attention.

Thea's eyebrows shot up as she heard a strange sound.. was somebody wearing.. heels??
Head shooting up, her eyes found an older looking boy tottering towards two other girls wearing high heeled shoes. Grinning despite herself, Thea sat up straighter. Snorting slightly, the second year looked down at her blank parchment while her shoulders shook with silent laughter.

Defense Against the Dark Arts. Something quite dumb, by the looks of last term but perhaps this new professor was different. The class equivalent to this in South Africa had certainly been more than ballroom dancing and stretching.

Psht. What a waste of time that had been last term. Of course, Ryden hadn't dreamed of doing it - just the act of reading the homework wasted those precious seconds she could have used elsewhere. Automatically walking towards the back of the classroom, she took a seat without glancing to see the person beside her, and swung round from side to side.

Hey, at least the chairs were fun.

Lexi waved her ickle fingers at Harlow and then went back to twirling her hair. Looking back toward the door she rolled her eyes dramatically as Cassie and Josh came in. How ridiculous! She really hoped the professor came in and... took points from them for SOMETHING. Ugh.

Marilyn seen Cassie coming her way and smirked. Her Hufflepuff friend had THAT look on her face...which could have only meant one thing.

Looking past her, she seen Josh. Short pants...and gorgeous heels. Blinking several times, she looked between Cassie and the unstable Gryffindor trying not to fall on his face...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

She was laughing in her mind, of course. It would have been so terribly rude to laugh in his face...or *cough* in front of him. A few giggles did escape...but she wasn't super woman. It was HARD trying to hold laughter in...

Leaning over, she whispered to Cassie. "Got the camera?"

Jayden walked into the classroom, excited to be there, ready to start learning some defensive spells. "This is gonna be waaay better than charms." Jayden thought to herself smiling. She noticed that Cael had already gotten there, and was saving spots. "Hey there." she said with a smile as she took her seat. "Thanks for saving a spot." She thanked him grinning excitedly, and then proceeded to set up her space with everything she would need for the class.

Jordan walked into the classroom, excited for his first ever DADA class. He saw Cael and took the seat on his immediate right, leaving seats on either side for the others to sit. He leaned over and excitedly said "My mum replied to my owl, I can stay for the holidays if the open invitation still stands!" he grinned.

Arya was excited to be finally attending a defense lesson having none last term thanks to the so-called acting minister. Hopefully this wouldn't be another beginner's lesson. Noting that their was no professor, she took a seat up front and waited for the lesson to begin, eyes wandering aimlessly around the room.

DADA! This was supposed to be one of the best classes at Hogwarts! Katie Black thought as she tried to find a seat to sit down in. This was going to be her favorite class she thought!

Right. DADA. One of the classes Gaby had been looking forward to all summer... this had better be good. She skipped into the classroom and plonked herself down next to Cael, depositing her parchment, quill and textbook on the desk and her oversized, overstuffed bag on the floor beside her. 'Hey there, Cael',' she said brightly, giving her friend a smile. 'And hi Jay!' she added, peering round Cael to smile at the girl on his other side. She also noticed a boy, who looked about their age, but she didn't know him, so no greeting there.

Hmm. She wondered where the professor was. Shouldn't she be in the classroom by now? How was the lesson supposed to start without her? Gaby looked around again, just to double-check, but there were definitely no adults. Well then. She picked up her quill and began to doodle absent-mindedly on the corner of her parchment.

Cassie leaned towards Marilyn too to lessen the gap between them so she could whisper even softer. Clearly she didn't want Josh to hear what else they had planned for him.

"Yeah it's right here." She whispered back and slipped her friend the camera. Hoorah. Seventh year was certainly going to be awesome and so was DADA class.

She reached into her book bag and took out her quill and parchment paper and tried to focus on prepping for DADA class. The giggles would stop coming though but that was to be expected.

Joshua Carter in heels? Epic.

The curly haired, fourteen year old made his way to the DADA classroom. He was looking forward to this lesson because his godfather had told him that it was one of the most important classes he'd have at school. Vigilance Kennedy, don't you forget that. The older man had told him over the summer. So now, the boy couldn't help, but tap his left forearm where his wand holster was making sure that his precious wand was still there.

As he entered, he noticed there was no professor, but he was impressed by the glass desk. Did everyone in the Wizarding world have nifty stuff? He sat in at the front and set his messenger bag beside him. After taking out a parchment and a pencil, Kennedy tapped his forearm again making sure he hadn't dropped his wand on his way in.

Penny had been reading the first chapter of the textbook when she felt rather than heard someone sit down in the seat next to her..

Looking up she saw it was Alyssa, her earlier excitement doubled now her friend was here - this was definitely gonna be a fun class :D
