DADA one The DADA classroom is done in subtle shades of cream and brown. The chairs, set in neat concentric semi-circles, are the revolving, fixed-to-the-floor kind; and there is a fair gap between any two chairs. There is a whiteboard at the front of the classroom and, to its left, a neat little table that looks like it's made of glass. |
DADA!!!!!! WOOOOOOOO! Hehe. Lexi was SUPER stoked about Defense class this term. Even if the professor seemed like a Lafay clone. Meeeeh. No matter... Lexi would enjoy it either way. She was SURE of it. Making her way into the classroom she looked around to see... she was the ONLY person there. WIN. She pranced right over to a desk not too far from the front, but not in the back either. Juuuust right. Making herself comfy she began to twirl a bit of hair around one finger and waited for PEOPLE to mill in. |
Marilyn walked into class, not so much excited about her first DADA lesson...but she'd managed an OWL in the subject and felt she must continue. Finding a seat in the middle, the blonde sat her things down. A headache was coming on, on top of hunger pains... When did I eat last? With a sigh, she crossed her arms...Couldn't they just get this over with? |
DADA was among the subject that Aurora was most looking forward to. She had read a little bit about it and as a muggleborn the idea of having to defend oneself against dark arts sounded intriguing and definitely gave off the notion that not all magic was used in a good way. She headed down to the DADA classroom knowing that in a few minutes the lesson will start. She glanced into the classroom to see chairs set in concentric semi-circles where there were a few students already sitting and waiting. They must have had the same idea as me--wanting to get to DADA nice and early Aurora thought to herself and headed to grab a seat. |
DADA. Was Amy pleased...possibly not, but she was entertained. She did like DADA, even if it was the one where she always ended up getting injured and such. And because of that, she'd dropped the subject half way through the year, and that wasn't just because of the weird stuff they were made to do. Noooo. But this time she was determined to do the lesson. She walked into the classroom, brown hair tied back into a messy fishtale plait, her jumper already a little bit untidy and her tie with it's proud badger, slightly lose. She had an overall slightly dishevled look, but she would roll with that Good morning Prof-, Amy smiled at the desk, and then noticed the professor wasn't there. AWKWARD. And, going slightly red, Amy made her way to a desk and sat down, dropping her bag down on the floor |
Tugging at one of her piggytails [She had kindly asked an older student to correct her completely wonky attempts], Arlo headed from her common room towards the Defense Against the Dark Arts Classroom. Of course, she'd gotten lost twice and ended up asking directions from a face-pulling sixth year. And now she was here, and it seemed like not many [if any] others were yet. Not even the 'fessor was, and they were supposed to lead by examples! And be on time! But Arlo didn't mind, it'd give her time to choose where she actually wanted to sit. A seat not directly near the door, but close enough was one she picked in the end, and as she settled into it, checked her dolly was safely stashed at the bottom on her satchel. Yep. Little Arlie was snug and sleeping. Now, class... EEP. |
She tucked her notebook into her giant all white Gucci messenger bag as she walked to class. She was keen to start DADA. She knew a few jinxs but she wanted to learn the big stuff. Harlow was all smiles as she walked into the classroom. "Ohhh," she breathed as she spotted the glass desk. Now that was cool. She wanted a glass desk! Harlow saw Lexi and she gave her a big eave before finding a seat in the second circle close to the windows. |
Weew, Defence Against the Dark Arts! Hugo had always liked the subject so when he entered the classroom he took a good mood with him, along with his books, wand, and more stuff which honestly need no mentioning. Hugo happily hopped over to his seat and took out his books, waitin' like a Ravenclaw for the lesson to start. |
Alex hesitantly took a step into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, simply because he couldn't remember if this was the right class he was supposed to be in or not. He couldn't remember who taught what with all these new professors running about, and it was doing his head in. However, he noticed most of his classmates and let out a sigh of relief that Glass was clearly teaching in this room and therefore, he was in the right place. He had no idea what to expect because...well, new professor. You never knew what you were getting with these new teachers. So he sat down near the middle of the classroom, pulled out his parchment and prepared for class. |
Sarah walked into feeling less than happy. No, it wasn't because of the class, She hated skirts. Why? Because of all the things you could and couldn't do. Had HAD to sit with your legs crossed, you COULDN'T fly on a broom, or hang upside down, or do a cartwheel... It was TORTURE But she was wearing one anyway, because she refused to lose anymore points for Slytherin. Everyone BETTER be happy, because she was sacrificing her dignity and tomboyish attitude for this. She sat down and crossed her legs. Sheesh. |
First class of DADA. Of course Joćo had to be present there. Thus, getting up quite early to open up his brain, he had even taken a jog on the grounds a little to get off the 'morning' feeling; and now, dressed perfectly, he was at the door of the classroom, scanning inside for a sign of the professor or someone he knew. Well, he couldn't spot any of them... thus, he moved to get the seat at the frontest possible and set down his bag. This was his best subject, and he of course chose the best spot. |
Orchid walked into the classroom of her first Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson and sat down in the very middle of the classroom, smiling as she set her textbook on the desk in front of her. "Good morning Professor." |
Eino made his way to the DADA classroom with his backpack handing from one shoulder and textbook in hand. Inside, there was so sight of the Professor, so he walked towards his usual seat and sat down. There were several new professors this term so Eino didn't know which of them would be the DADA professor, and he hadn't really gone around to introduce himself, so he was completely oblivious. However, he was just happy to have a DADA, since last year all they did were Lord Borr's strange assignments. So far this was much better, even if Lord Borr walked in and told them to sing to each other, it would still be better to just be in a classroom. As he thought, he set up his desk and then waited patiently. |
First days of class were always interesting, even more so with new professors so the first class of defense was something to be doubly curious of.At least it was actually being taught by a real professor and not by Borr the absent-minded and bodied whale of a man.Yes he had been witness to him before even if he had never been in a class of his. Coming up to the door, Gideon stepped into the classroom, pausing off to the side with his bag on his shoulder to take in the room and its occupants so far. Noticing the professor was nowhere to be found, he simply restarted his movements and headed to take a seat at one of the desks in the middle of the circles. |
humming a Disney tune, Thea entered the DADA classroom with her bag swinging from her shoulder. Hoping to be able to get a partner this lesson, she sat near enough to the middle. Resting her bag down, she took out her textbook and wand. Scraping a stray lock behind her ear Thea's eyes flew around the room wuickly. Not many people were there so she'd just have to wait. She began tapping her nails on the desk. It soon went into time with the song she was humming. It entertained her.. but she kept it quiet. |
Annabelle came to the DADA classroom. "Another class, a different year." she said to herself. She didn't see the professor yet, so she took a seat in the front of her class, she took out her quill and started doodling on her parchment. |
Having read the note on the noticeboard in the common room, Daichi made his way over to the first class of DADA. He wondered what it was, he hadn't had a good impression last year with that Lord Borr person... Rolling around? psh! Luckily he had heard over the feast that the subject was something completely different than just rolling around. It was about using magic (duh) and learning to defend yourself whenever needed. This was exactly why Daichi wanted to take this class. He was tired of not knowing how to defend himself. So he walked through the classroom door with a smile on his face .....and it died instantly when he saw Marcelo sitting at the front. Noticing that the Professor wasn't in the room yet, Daichi walked towards one of the chairs as faaaaaaaaar away from Marcelo as possible and waited. |
Arabella-Marie walked into the dada classroom and smiled she loved this lesson and smiled at the professor and said "Good Morning Professor" Arabella-Marie took a seat near the front of class and waited for the lesson to start |
Cassie basically skipped to Defense Against the Dark Arts class swinging her book bag by her side. She didn't enter the classroom just yet because she was waiting for Josh to get there. She had met him with the shoes down the corridor and left him to put them on, but she certainly didn't want him to make his grand entrance without her. She leaned against the door with a smug smirk on her face. Where was he? It didn't take that long to put heels on. |
:claw: Harvey walked into his first DADA class and sat down waiting for the professor to start the lesson :claw: |
Dada finally has the right professor. |
Luna walked into the class room she looked around at all the people that had already arrived but no teacher Hmm? DADA great a new teacher hopfully this year might be a tad better she walked to one of the seats and waited for Proffeser Glass! |
Penny walked into the D.A.D.A class and quickly found a seat near the front, she was quite excited for class to begin..... Immediately upon sitting she took out her textbook, parchment, ink and quill... |
Defense Against the Dark Arts.. Kimalia wondered how this lesson would turn out, the last term they had to do everthing outside of class. She walked in to take her seat until the Professor arrived. |
Yay, DADA! Maddy walked into the class and sat down ,she was so eger to start. :serpent: |
Emily entered the glass room nervous but excited. She didn't know how she really felt about DADA, but everyone she knew seemed to love it and who was she to disagree? She looked over to the desk to say good morning to the professor, but it was empty. Huh. Mabye they were running late? She took a seat near the back and began to take out her things. Hopefully no one would sit next to her so she could sit in her own thoughts. |

Now Josh had started to think that they were going to be his end. He had always known that behind all the elegancy they each had an evil soul. And this making him walk in high heels, especially into a classroom where everyone could see it, was the ultimate proof of it. Yet, there was no way the boy was going to back away and let the girls win! So, though it was really difficult to walk with those shoes with high heels, not to mention it was kind of painful, Josh was going to prove that he could do it. There was nothing he could not do if he wanted to do it! At first, he could hardly walk with them...yet later on he, at least, managed to take slow steps and kept walking to the DADA classroom with those careful, slow steps....only to see Cassie and that expression on her face. ''Don't even dare to laugh.'' the Gryffindor said stopping beside her to relax his feet some but even standing motionless with those heels was very annoying and difficult. ''Here. I wore what you wanted.'' the boy indicated the high heel and shorts. ''I won, right? Accept it.'' Eh...they had better walk in the classroom instead of having a convo before the door. ''Let's move. And i say it again; don't laugh!'' |
Damon entered the classroom, when was the last time he had been here.. must have been just last year but yet again it was time for his regular focus of learning about defense against the dark arts. Damon hoped he would learn a lot this term and just to show courtesy he would show extra attention during this class. |
Ashley wandered around for a good while until he found the room, actually finding that he had accidentally stalked some people here. If he'd known where they were going in the first place, maybe he wouldn't have gotten lost trying to not accidentally stalk them. He could have followed properly. Oh well. He'd made it, and it looked like the right room, so he went on in and took a seat, checking out the room and noting how different it was to the last class he was in. Of course it would be different, but he didn't expect it to seem like it wasn't even in the same building. That was interesting. |
Ronnie had come ready to class, well as ready as she could be...she was really upset abotu her dad stil. But she couldn't let that affect her, she stil needed to be at school. Her dad wouldn't want her to not be happy. She sighed and walked into the class room and put her books down and sat in a desk, looking around to see if she saw anyone who she knew. |
Rose skipped into DADA. FINALLY! I get to do DADA! Stupid Lord Borr, this person better be good! Rose thought scornfully. She NEEDED to learn DADA. NEEDED. She took a seat and tooke out her Parchment and quills. |
Quote:
She took out her textbook, parchment, ink and quill and sat quietly waiting for the Professor to start the class. |
Jerrod calmly walked in and looked at all the people who sat there. This is probably the one. He thought. When Jerrod first joined Hogwarts he had been something of a nervous wreck but he had become more calm and cool by the days. This will probably be very fun.. Wonder what we will learn first? He thought and smiled a little. |
Cael entered the classroom with barely concealed enthusiasm. He was so looking forward to learning defensive spells and, hopefully, even a little dueling when all was said and done. Choosing a seat near the front of the classroom, he pulled out his text and a few rolls of crisp parchment, subtly arranging them until his desk was properly organized. Looking around, he hoped one of his friends would join him soon. It wouldn't do to save seats for too long, after all... |
something for everyone..and Marilyn ;) Quote:
She nodded in agreement with his suggestion and bit her lip to stop herself from giggling too much as she walked into the classroom with him. Without any further hold up Cassie strutted into the classroom ahead of Josh and winked at Marilyn. Oh the professor wasn't here yet...too bad she wouldn't get to see Josh strut his stuff..oh well a tleast everyone else would see. Cassie plopped into the seat next to Marilyn and watched Josh wobble his way towards the seats. |
Ooooh, Defence Against the Dark Arts? This sounded like fun. ... unless there was some insane professor that had in mind to make them deal with Merlin knows what creatures of the dark. But anyway, all the negative thoughts had to be banished away in the farthest corner in Nora's mind, as she walked cheerfully into the classroom. She took a seat somewhere in the front, so she could have a better look at the curiously white board, that, obviously, had caught her attention. |
Thea's eyebrows shot up as she heard a strange sound.. was somebody wearing.. heels?? Head shooting up, her eyes found an older looking boy tottering towards two other girls wearing high heeled shoes. Grinning despite herself, Thea sat up straighter. Snorting slightly, the second year looked down at her blank parchment while her shoulders shook with silent laughter. |
Defense Against the Dark Arts. Something quite dumb, by the looks of last term but perhaps this new professor was different. The class equivalent to this in South Africa had certainly been more than ballroom dancing and stretching. Psht. What a waste of time that had been last term. Of course, Ryden hadn't dreamed of doing it - just the act of reading the homework wasted those precious seconds she could have used elsewhere. Automatically walking towards the back of the classroom, she took a seat without glancing to see the person beside her, and swung round from side to side. Hey, at least the chairs were fun. |
Lexi waved her ickle fingers at Harlow and then went back to twirling her hair. Looking back toward the door she rolled her eyes dramatically as Cassie and Josh came in. How ridiculous! She really hoped the professor came in and... took points from them for SOMETHING. Ugh. |
Quote:
Looking past her, she seen Josh. Short pants...and gorgeous heels. Blinking several times, she looked between Cassie and the unstable Gryffindor trying not to fall on his face... O.o HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! She was laughing in her mind, of course. It would have been so terribly rude to laugh in his face...or *cough* in front of him. A few giggles did escape...but she wasn't super woman. It was HARD trying to hold laughter in... Leaning over, she whispered to Cassie. "Got the camera?" |

Arya was excited to be finally attending a defense lesson having none last term thanks to the so-called acting minister. Hopefully this wouldn't be another beginner's lesson. Noting that their was no professor, she took a seat up front and waited for the lesson to begin, eyes wandering aimlessly around the room. |
DADA! This was supposed to be one of the best classes at Hogwarts! Katie Black thought as she tried to find a seat to sit down in. This was going to be her favorite class she thought! |
Quote:
Hmm. She wondered where the professor was. Shouldn't she be in the classroom by now? How was the lesson supposed to start without her? Gaby looked around again, just to double-check, but there were definitely no adults. Well then. She picked up her quill and began to doodle absent-mindedly on the corner of her parchment. |
Quote:
"Yeah it's right here." She whispered back and slipped her friend the camera. Hoorah. Seventh year was certainly going to be awesome and so was DADA class. She reached into her book bag and took out her quill and parchment paper and tried to focus on prepping for DADA class. The giggles would stop coming though but that was to be expected. Joshua Carter in heels? Epic. |
Josephine entered the class she was skipping from her happiness! DADA was the subject she most wanted to know about! She went to take a seat, waiting for her friends to enter the room too, she had left Maxwell with her brother and Danielle had told her that she would meet her here. She took out her materials and waited for the professor |
The curly haired, fourteen year old made his way to the DADA classroom. He was looking forward to this lesson because his godfather had told him that it was one of the most important classes he'd have at school. Vigilance Kennedy, don't you forget that. The older man had told him over the summer. So now, the boy couldn't help, but tap his left forearm where his wand holster was making sure that his precious wand was still there. As he entered, he noticed there was no professor, but he was impressed by the glass desk. Did everyone in the Wizarding world have nifty stuff? He sat in at the front and set his messenger bag beside him. After taking out a parchment and a pencil, Kennedy tapped his forearm again making sure he hadn't dropped his wand on his way in. |
skye finely managed to find the classroom after a while, she walked to the middle of the room and sat down on the chair and pulled out the things she will need for her lesson. |
Quote:
Looking up she saw it was Alyssa, her earlier excitement doubled now her friend was here - this was definitely gonna be a fun class :D |
As he sauntered on into the classroom, Paulie hooked his thumbs behind the straps of his backpack and looked around at the seats. It was difficult to recognize the people who had their backs to him. His eyes traveled to the professor's desk, but no one was in sight. Huh. Maybe she wouldn't show..? Doubtful. Highly doubtful. Not really having a preference as to where he sat, the fifth year walked a few paces over to a nearby swivel-chair and shrugged his bag onto the ground before taking a seat. |
Quote:
"Hey, Kennedy." she said, taking out her wand and conjuring her favourite green and silver ribbons to tie back her hair. |

Victoria walked into the DADA classroom cautionsly. It's the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, anything could happen! It doesn't hurt to be careful. After entering the unfamiliar classroom, Victoria examined around the place, making notes in her mind of everything in the room. It is quite a curious room. It's DADA, but looks...fancy....seriously...glass tables? At least they look like glass. "Good day professor." greeted Victoria politely, remembering her manners. She slowly took a seat on an empty chair, thinking about what they're going to learn today. |

Seeing Cassie preparing for the lesson, Marilyn stood, moving into the isle. Josh was still making his way through the seats, the wobble more noticeable in his upper body. It was painfully obvious that the heels were killing his feet...The Gryffindor was being a trooper, though...and Marilyn felt compelled to give him some credit. Some... Seeing him step directly into her line of sight...and the cameras, she aimed the lens. *shutter sound* CLICK...FLASH |
Bag slung over her shoulder and hair tied back in a tight pony, Kurumi made her way into the DADA classroom eager to finally have a proper lesson. She missed the days when Headmaster Tate had taught the subject. Now THOSE were really lessons and not some hodgepodge assignment assigned by a man who never stepped foot into the school for the school for the entire term. Still, Kurumi was not too pleased about this new woman's beside manner as had been displayed on the announcement board. Honestly. Didn't even go into what all they should bring or needed. Head hanging a bit, Kurumi walked into the room and heard the clicking of what sounded like heels, and she squeaked loudly. MERLIN! She was late wasn't she? Her head snapped up to see that the heels did not belong to Professor No-Bedside-Manner...but to Josh. "J-J-Josh?!" she stammered as her gaze flicked between his face and the shoes that, well, looked utterly ridiculous on his feet. "W-W-Why?" All thoughts about getting to her seat were now temporarily removed. Josh was in heels... |
Carter followed Kurumi into the classroom. He was glad the Prefect knew where she was going. He hadn't checked his schedule that morning, he just figured he'd follow someone and hope he ended up in class. Mission accomplished. He stopped behind her and blinked at the sight that she was looking at. He snickered. "That's a nice look for you mate." he said with a smirk. Silly Josh. He must have lost a bet to Evelyn or something. |

"Hey, can I sit with you guys?" she asked quickly. At hearing herself talk, sheq quickly the three an icy glare, daring them to laugh at the side affects of her recently acquired cold. "And don't say a thing about my voice...I have the sniffles..." she warned them, her eyebrows raised. Since being sick, she was feeling a lot more generous lately. Hmph. |

Phew. He saw as Aurora's things just appeared...like poof out of thin air. "Hey..." he said, distracted by it all. Now THAT was skills right there. "Cool," he whispered. How come his wand didn't do that, eh? |

Arabella-Marie looked about at her fellow classmates and sighed some of the younger students were chatting and she knew that they could end up losing there house points if the professor was to enter the classroom now |
Pam walked into the classroom, really excited for class to start. This is one of the classes that she was eagerly looking forward to. |
Was Rafe late? He kind of jogged into class and looked around and saw other students filing in. Now, he could breathe. Oh, Defense Against the Dark Arts! Rafe could really care less about the Defense Against part. But, this was Hogwarts...not Durmstrang, so things were definitely different and a bit more strict. Oh well, he couldn't really complain. It was his last term after all. He was curious what the lesson would be about. Hopefully, it would be something interesting. Rafe hated the idea of falling asleep and snoring in the middle of class (it had been known to happen.) He took a seat near the back and could noticed a few familiar faces. |
Tom entered the DADA classroom, glancing at the glass table on his way past but not thinking anything of it other than it was a glass table. He quietly made his way to a vacant chair. Sure, Defence Against the Dark Arts sounded cool in principle, but not when you were two years behind the other third years. If they were asked to 'duel', as Tom had heard it being called, he wouldn't have a leg to stand on. Unless they were allowed to fight like muggles.. But, with a name like Defence Against the Dark Arts it was unlikely. Subdued and somewhat melancholy, he slipped into a chair, not really taking any notice of the shenanigans going on with Josh, Cassie and a pair of heels. He sighed. Hogwarts, so far, was a pretty lonely place. |
Ryan entered the classroom and found a seat to sit on.He thought to himself this class will be fun |

Turning in her seat she waved the boy to join her. Awwww. He looked so DOWN. No need in all that. NONE AT ALL. Lexi was here. Mhm. |

SAMMY WAS PUMPED FOR THIS! OWL Year, that means focus. And concentration. And-ARE THOSE SPINNY CHAIRS?! :whaa: Sammy basically ran to get a chair. She looooooooved spinny chairs. Yeah so much for that focus. Once she had spun around on her chair a couple of times, clinging to her bag so nothing fell out of it, she noticed something. Everyone was talking. But you weren't supposed to talk too much before class. She could remember her first Charms lesson, she got told off at, big time. And the teacher hadn't been too impressed. SO she decided to be a good little one and sit there quietly. Spinning on her spinny chair. Some other things she noticed as she slowly spinned around was that there was a table that looked like it was made of glass, that couldn't be good. SHe slowed down her spinning further now because she had managed to SMARTLY get herself dizzy. Took out her notebook, even though she really wanted it to be a practical lesson, and WAITED. |

Rose was excited for DADA. She walked into the almost full class and looked around for a seat. She hoped that she would sit next to someone friendly. Rose couldn't wait for the lesson to start. She wanted to make small talk with the other students so she could make some friends, but decided aganist it. She didn't want to lose any points for her house. She waited patiently for the class to start. |
SPOILER!!: Josh? As she was walking to the defense against the dark arts classroom, she couldn't help but wonder just how many professors they'd had over the course of seven years. It was like almost every class was cursed, and flying was just naturally cursed 'cause they had Vinny as a their professor. Yet as she made her way into the classroom, Evelyn was far from expecting to see her boyfriend standing their in shorts and...heels. This...this was Josh right? Then again, how could she mistake him for anyone else? "Josh?" What... What was he doing!? She was too surprised to see him there like that, that she completely forgot to hide her Head Girl badge. Heck, she forgot they were in a classroom! Quote:
o____O! Seeing the flash, Evelyn whipped her gaze on over to the owner, narrowing her eyes some. Or a lot. Oh who was she kidding, right now, she was shooting daggers at Marilyn. Was she behind this?! Evelyn could always use another camera. She kept losing hers for the yearbook. |

Nikolas made his way to the DADA classroom, he knew this year he had OWLs and he needed to concentrate very hard in each single class. Which of course was a torture. He entered into the classroom, and looked over the teacher's desk but there was no teacher. Uhh..okay. He raised an eyebrow and continue on to find a seat. The classroom was already with students many, many students. There was some people he had seen around the corridors but he didn't actually knew. Oh well, he sat down in a vacant chair and dropped his bag beside him. The professor was coming right? He was positive about it, but still he had hope she or he would not show up. Hopefully. |

Zhenya spotted two people she recognised. One, a Slytherin, the other, a Ravenclaw. She sat down next to them and said Hello, before getting nervous about their very first DADA lesson. Her brother had refused telling her about any lessons, even though she had been begging him. |
August entered the classroom and walked with his things toward one of the desks near the board, glancing around the classroom curiously. This lesson seemed quite interesting simply because of the name, Defense Against the Dark Arts. It sounded pretty awesome really. Once he found a chair, the third year Gryffindor looked around the room and caught glance of an older boy...in heels. Ummmm? That was something you didn't see every day. |
SPOILER!!: Roselyn Marilyn smirked, giving Evelyn her best apologetic smile. "It's nothing personal, Evie. A bet was made and Josh agreed." Turning, she placed the camera in her bag. She knew it could get hairy, and Marilyn didn't want that to happen. Evelyn was her friend... ...but Josh's mouth had gotten him into this situation. If he didn't think he could do ANYTHING, he wouldn't be stuck in heels right now. |
Quote:
"Hey guys" she said quietly, smiling. Wait a minute this was Professor Glass's classroom, she had heard about her.. oh that's right, she was the one with the spiked heels. Desiree gulped hoping Sarah had just been exagerating.. |
Oh, so they were actually going to have a proper DADA lesson this term? Thank Merlin. Vashti was not happy with the way it had been handled the previous term. It hadn't exactly affected her OWL grade negatively, but that was probably because of all the studying she'd done to make up for it. She much preferred actually having lessons. So she entered the classroom with a smile and was prepared to greet the new professor...who wasn't there. Well, okay then. Vashti simply took a seat and waited for the lesson to begin. |

Heading down to DADA after getting into the swing of lessons, Stella had to admit she was curious about how this one would be. Charms was certainly quick, yet interesting, and she had to wonder if DADA would be the same or if Professor Schirmer was different than the others. She could definitely say she seemed different than the few professors who'd spoken to her during the opening feast, but in the same respect, she wasn't entirely sure who the DADA professor was. She had a suspicion, but it wasn't much more than that. Stepping into the classroom, it seemed her curiosity wasn't about to get appeased quite yet, as while there were quite a few students in the room and having their own little discussions, there was no professor in sight. Interesting, she thought, making her way to an empty desk and taking a seat. She didn't even take anything out of her school bag yet, as there didn't seem to be any directions as to what they'd be using in the lesson. Of course, she had everything she thought would be necessary, and her wand was ready in the wrist holster she'd had for years now. But for now, it seemed they just needed to wait. |
SPOILER!!: Cassie rofl Could he glare at the Hufflepuff girl for giving him that look? Though it was not much of a gentlemanly act, he totally had the right to do it since she and Marilyn made him wear those stupid heels which ruined all his coolness and gave his feet a great deal of pain. Not to mention it was another torture to walk. At least the girl could bewitch them to fit his feet but no...the girls had to make it most difficult for him. Shave....what? Once he heard that, she was kidding that, the boy could not help but glare at the Hufflepuff this time. She would not laugh...much? ''You are already doing the worst.'' Shaving his legs..............eh!! SPOILER!!: Marilyn and Her Camera :D As the Gryffindor boy walked towards the seats to choose a suitable one for himself, probably away from everyone else regarding the current circumstances, he was glad that he was not walking around desks since it was easier to keep his balance holding on them as he moved on. And since he was too busy trying to keep his balance, the lion boy was pretty unaware of the whispered exchange between Cassie and Marilyn. The sudden FLASH though...was impossible to miss. Quickly looking up towards where possibly the sudden light flashed from, Josh's eyes widened when he saw the camera in Marilyn's hands. ''HEEEEEEEEY!!!'' he tried to rush towards her to snatch the camera from her grip yet he lost his balance and tripped on the way. Eh...high heels were not made for running apparently. What were they for anyway? Stupid girls. ''That's NOT fair. You did not mention taking photos. I did NOT agree to that!!'' SPOILER!!: Kurumi and Carter When a very familiar voice spoke his name, Josh tore his gaze away from Marilyn and her camera only to look at...Kurumi. For the first seconds he looked at her, the glare he had been giving to Marilyn might have remained on his face yet when the lioness asked 'Why?' it had completely vanished. ''The girls...made me.'' he said trying not to make a face at the pain. Yes, he was the victim here. ''Those evil, mean girls.'' Totally making use and fun of his good will. Then it took the eighteen year old's attention that someone else was approaching behind Kurumi who was...Carter, no doubt. At first Josh was hoping that he would take his side and help him then....huh? But when he saw the grin on his friend's face, Josh wore a sarcastic 'oh great' expression. ''Would you like to see how they'd look on you? It seemed to me that you do.'' Yeaa...especially if he laughed again, Josh knew what he was going to do. SPOILER!!: Evelyn! Now that was the voice he wanted to hear!!! His girl. His she-snake. His love and his saviour...at this case. Immediately turning his back to face her, the boy knew there was now hope for him. Evelyn could save and protect him from the evilness of those girls!! ''Hun!'' he exclaimed and tried to rush towards her, arms open, yet of course he tripped on the way again. At least there were still desks around so he could hold on one and avoid kissing the floor. When he approached, it was impossible to miss that she was glaring at someone...that someone being Marilyn with the camera.. Yeaa...Evelyn was going to burn that camera!!! Go Evelyn!!! Finally managing to reach where she stood, the Gryffindor clinged on her, trying to maintain his balance. ''They made this!'' |

Mickey strode in hoping to what ever merciful deity up there this class wasn't going to be like charms. God she hated charms. With a burning passion. She slid into a chair hoping when her friends came here that they would actually sit with her this time instead of conviniently leaving her all on her lonesome with some random kid she's never met before. |
YES! Ronnie's most FAVORITE subject in the whole planet! (other than lunch) she found a seat and hoped that maybe one of her friends would sit with her. She began drumming her fingers on the desk. |
Sophie walked in and sat down in a chair next to her friends. She past time by talking with her friends. |

Ariella excitedly made her way into the DADA Classroom. She was beyond excited to actually have a professor who actually showed up for the lessons this year. DADA was one of her favorite classes, after all. Looking around, she saw that Professor Glass wasn't yet in the room. Luckily, she spotted her friend Ronnie sitting alone. "Hey Ronnie!" she said happily, placing her books down on the desk next to her. "Mind if I sit here?" She smiled slightly. Looking around the room, Ariella realized that she had never been in this classroom for an actual lesson. |

Amethyst tried so hard to hold her laughter. "Well, I totally agree with you, Sarah. I'm more of a baggy je---.." She stopped. Never mind. There was a reason she was so shy. There was also a reason why the women at the orphanage treated her like dirt too. She didn't continue and lowered her head. "Y-you still look..nice, Sarah.." |

Jesifur went into her first DADA classroom and found a seat away from the other kids and waited for the teacher. She took out a few books to read and a journal to take some notes in and began to study away. |

Erin walked inside the classroom. She was feeling more nervous than in Charms. Defense Against the Dark Arts is a popular subject but she hadn't heard a word about the professor. If she remembered it right, this professor is one of the new ones of the staff this year. There are quite a few students inside but the professor hasn't arrived yet. She'd been so punctual today. Ravenclaw lost points because of tardiness. She's not going to make it herself. She found an empty seat at the middle of the room. She opened her book and picked her Vinewood wand from her pocket. |
Lysandra headed down the corridor to the first Defense Against the Dark Arts class of the year. The day had started out good. No troubling thought in any part of her mind. When she reached the door, she looked in to see quite a few people there already. She hoped she would see someone she knew, or possibly make a new friend. |

She tilted her head to the side, what was up with Ame? Well, whatever it was, she was determined to figure it out, and then help her friend. That's what buddies do for each other. Yup, yup. :D |
Adam walked into the classroom and it wasn't hard to tell that he was excited. It was time for his favorite subject and honestly he didn't see how it could get any better than that. He headed to one of the open chairs and sat down in it, the chair swiveling slightly as he did so...woah. Adam grabbed hold of the sides of his chair with his hands to hold it still. Well great...the boy could cast several non verbal spells and was preparing to take his O.W.L.s this year and he couldn't even handle a swivel chair. Taking off his back pack he set it down on the ground by his feet, and looked around...perhaps he would spot someone he knew? |
Faven had only gotten lost once, for sure a personal best. She had made sure to be early for this class though, no more being late and losing points for her. Defense Against the Dark Arts....Dark Arts? That sounded frightening! What kind of Dark Arts were in the wizarding world that she would have to "defend" herself from? The nice girls on the train had told her all about Harry Potter and Voldemort. With that scary wizard gone, who was the Dark one now?? Faven sat down in the front, like a good new student, perplexed with this issue. |

She was never good with logic, or puzzles, but she was trying to get her brain to sit still long enough to figure out what was going on. SO. Amethyst liked wearing slightly guy-ish clothes So, what does she do? She stalls. "Too many people in here," she says, smiling kindly, her expression softening, "we'll talk about this after class. Say in the student gardens. It's quieter there." |
