The DADA classroom is done in subtle shades of cream and brown. The chairs, set in neat concentric semi-circles, are the revolving, fixed-to-the-floor kind; and there is a fair gap between any two chairs. There is a whiteboard at the front of the classroom and, to its left, a neat little table that looks like it's made of glass.
Come in and take a seat. Professor Glass is not in the classroom, but she will be here in a few minutes.
OOC: The class has now STARTED. Please don't RP your characters arriving late. If YOU are joining the class just now, pretend that your charrie was there all along. =)

She hurried into the class as she did not want to be late. Thankfully, Professor hadn't yet arrived. She took a seat in the middle rows and sat down. She hated to be on the first bench!

Laurie walked into the DADA classroom not really knowing what to expect. She was a first year so anything was possible from her point of view.
The revolving chairs looked really comfortable and she found an empty one to claim. Checking to make sure she was prepared, she began to feel nervous.

Glass. Weird name. Ellie was being judgmental already. But she had to. This Glass lady was a new professor and they had to start somewhere right? She did the same thing about the new Charms professor. And since Ellie knew nothing about this Professor Glass, she had to start with the woman's name; the only thing she knew.
And personally, the word glass seemed odd for a last name.

Orr nodded, "I was really nervous before Charms but then I got into it. I think that I just have the first day nerves you know." Upon hearing that Zhenya was a pure-blood and didn't have more experience then her, Orr let out a sigh of relief. Well, that was NOT going to happen. For one thing, these particular heels were Cassie's, and her Hufflepuff friend didn't sacrifice shoes...and another, Marilyn wouldn't allow anyone to do that to Josh.
She could pick on him...but not some other Gryffindors. Uh oh...She nudged Cassie, who was sitting beside her. "Let's keep an ear out. I think some stupidly brave Gryffindor might try something..."
