As you enter the Astronomy classroom you'll see that this week the classroom looks like it did in the first lesson. The desks are standing two and two together. Up front Professor Roslund's sturdy desk is there with its usual neat piles of parchments, lesson notes and books. There is one thing out of ordinary on the desk though, something which is hidden under a piece of purple cloth. As per his usual Professor Edvard is sitting and reading the evening Prophet's latest edition, on the edge of his desk.
OCC: The lesson wont start until Monday 14th November at 6 pm GMT. I'm just opening it now to allow you all to arrive. Please remember the rules and don't RP arriving late when the lesson has started. I will update a lesson progression in this post so everyone can follow along and jump in when they can.

Astronomy...this class certainly held its share of surprises, and with that thought, Kourtney peered into the classroom. Hmm, no giant cauldron. Though...there was something being covered with a purple cloth. Looking curiously at it, she stepped into the classroom. "Hello Professor Roslund." She greeted, stepping to one of the desks at the front of the classroom.
She set her bag down and removed a quill and several pieces of parchment. Ready to go!

Beatrice walked up to the Astronomy Tower. She would be attending their third Astronomy Lesson. She was very excited as to what they would be tackling today. The mere thought of comets and meteors excited her.
"Good day Professor!" she said as she passed Professor Roslund on her way to her usual seat at the front. As she sat down, she took out her parchment and began writing random things on it.
Erin walked up towards the Astronomy Tower. She came from the Ravenclaw common room, so it wasn't really an effort to come up early.
The felt like different associating it with the last lesson in here, the Joint Lesson with Professor Bentley. Last time was a successful one and fun with two professors giving marshmallows. Erin hoped to have some snacks again. Hehe.
"Hello, Professor Roslund," greeted Erin with a big smile.

Raven was not in good mood to join any class beside DADA, Charms, and.. Transfiguration. But she thought astronomy was better than herbology, or history of magic. She walked to the astronomy tower and entered the class.
Noticed that Professor Roslund was already there, she greeted him politely.
"Good Evening Professor Roslund."
Then she sat on the corner.

A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
With his school bag hoisted over his shoulders, Daichi made his way up to the Astronomy tower. Even though he had been up here a couple of times now, he still felt out of breath whenever he reached the top.
Being a Slytherin and having to take a class in the top tower was NOT a good combination. Taking a deep breath, Daichi clutched his side and entered the classroom. The room looked the same it had been in their first lesson. He looked around, hoping to see someone he knew but when he didn't he decided to walk to the front.
"Evening , professor Rosland" He said with a small smile at the professor who was reading the newspaper. As a small hufflepuff girl asked him if there was anything interesting in the news, Daichi's eyes went to the strange purple cloth on the table. "What is that , sir?" he asked as his curiousity grew.

Kurumi entered the classroom with her hand covering her mouth to hide the small yawn that had escaped her lips. It had been one of those weeks and all the Gryffindor wanted to do was curl up in her bed with a good book and a nice hot cup of tea. Studies, homework assignments, tutoring Jonathan, dealing with Walnut, prefecting...all that got in the way of her relaxation time - not that that was all such a bad thing really. Kurumi was very happy with her life right now, for perhaps the first time in a looooooong while.
Stretching a bit as she made her way towards her usual seat, Kurumi's eyes immediately took notice of the purple cloth covering something and her shoulders slouched a bit. Please don't tell her that there was a moon rock under there. Kurumi was rather tired of all her classes relating things to the moon especially all the nonsense about the full moon. "Evening, Professor Roslund," Kurumi chirped softly as she set her books out on the table. Her eyes went back to the purple cloth covering something that hopefully wasn't moon related.

Gideon was normally excited for astronomy though this year he had mixed feelings about things. Though he guessed he couldn't be too hard on the professor if he just did or studied things differently then his mum. Either way it was a required class and even if it hadn't been he wouldn't have given up a class he enjoyed just for a few misgivings. So he made his way up the tower to the classroom, entering the tower room once he arrived.
"Good evening Professor Roslund," he greeted with a polite nod before heading over to take a seat near Kurumi. The boy giving her a soft smile and a quiet "Hey."
Selina hated late classes. Honestly, she did not understand why teachers could just not have classes mid-day. Morning was too early, night was too late, mid-day was just right. But teachers always found themselves making Selina wake up or stay up. So she would deal with it and not complain; as much as she wanted to complain she would refrain.
When she waled in the classroom she smiled at the Professor and said, "Evening Professor Roslund." She really hoped she did not fall asleep in this class. There was that one class where they got their too early and had to stay up all night to see a specific thing in the telescope. Selina fell asleep at round about three in the morning.
Then she saw Kurumi and Gideon and she smiled. Okay, maybe a late night class wouldn't be so bad. The newly fourteen year old plopped down beside Gideon and smiled at the pair, "Hello all."
Janice walked into the tower. Since that last combined lesson she feels that it isn't that bad to wake up midnight to search for random planets or stars. They all look beautifull.
"Hello, professor!!" she said while choosing a random seat.
Another last lesson of the term. That was...incredibly scary. That meant OWLs were like...really close. Ellie was FAR from ready for them.
The exams were the only thing on her mind as she entered the classroom. She didn't pay attention to the arrangement of the desks, she didn't notice the mysterious purple cloth, she didn't even realize the Professor was sitting right there.
She just walked to an empty desk. And you know what? She took out some parchment and her quill and ink. She was going to take NOTES this lesson. For once. Really, she couldn't afford not to at this point. Every little bit helped. Especially since she was getting nowhere studying this subject out of her book.

Alyssa walked into the room and saw the Professor in his usual position, reading a newspaper. She smiled. 'He sure loves catching up on the news,'Alyssa thought to herself. So she walked up to him and greeted him, "Good evening, Professor. I'm glad to be back here for another lesson." Then she noticed something on his desk hidden under a purple cloth. 'Hmmm...I wonder what the Professor has hidden under there,'Alyssa thought to herself.

Alex was in a really good mood today. REALLY good. It was such a fantastic day outside, plus he'd gotten ALL of his homework finished last night. He wasn't behind on ANYTHING. That NEVER happened! His hard work was finally starting to pay off and the third year could not have been happier about it.
He walked into Astronomy and looked around, scanning the classroom for an open seat like he usually did. He spotted an open chair next to a red-headed Ravenclaw that he'd seen a few times, but never really talked to. He happily headed over to the desk, plopped down and smiled at her. "Hi!" he exclaimed. Gosh, he was just in such a good mood!

"Good morrow." Eino said with a short wave to the Professor and the nearby classmates as he made his way into the room. There were quite a few people already there, which meant he had arrived a little later than usual, but class hadn't started. What he didn't like was having to squeeze his way through the multitude of students to his usual seat. Class wasn't that full though, so he continued to make his way through the room comfortably.
As he approached his usual seat, he noticed that... it was taken! The seat he usually took, the one next to Ellie, was occupied by a Hufflepuff boy. He knew this because of his robes, but he could not identify the boy because he could not see his face. He suspected it was Treyen, but upon closer examination, Eino discovered that this boy was too short to be Treyen, which could only mean one thing...
Pogrebins had eaten his feet! Eino immeditely checked under his desk, then cautiously brought both of his feet up to the chair and crossed his legs. It was his fault. He had stopped hunting for pogrebins and now they were growing at an alarming rate and eating people! Nervously, he took out parchment, quill, ink, and his textbook, while still keeping an eye out for pogrebins. Constant vigilance!

Gaby skipped into Astronomy and flopped down into a chair in the middle row, saving a seat next to her for Elise. She liked Astronomy, but there was no way she was going to sit at the front. The front row was boor-iiing - you couldn't do anything with a teacher standing right in front of you. It was so restricting.
'Evenin', Professor,' she said happily as she draped her satchel over the back of her chair and put her notebook on the desk. 'Anythin' interestin' in the Prophet?' she added, curious. Her subscription hadn't arrived in the owl post this morning.

Maybelle skipped into the Astronomy classroom, excited and ready to learn about the stars and such. When she walked in, she saw a purple cloth, realizing there must be something hidden underneath it. Dismissing the thought of asking the Professor what was under this mysterious cloth, Maybelle simply smiled and greeted the Professor.
Angelina walked into the Astronomy lesson and pick out a desk to sit at in the middle of the room. Angelina hasn't took any astronomy lesson at all her whole first year, so now she thought she would just start one and see if she liked it. Who knows maybe its her best subject?
Angelina walked over to the desk she spotted when she first walked into class. Sitting down she looked up at the professor and said with a small smile on her face, "Hello Professor." She then sat her bags down on the desk and sat down in her seat ready to start her first Astronomy lesson.

I wish I were a glow worm. A glow worm's never glum. 'Cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum!?
Singing a little song, Destiny skipped her way into the Astronomy classroom with a smile on her face. This was the last time, the last time EVER she would be walking up those millions of steps and she could not be happier. Unless..unless the Astronomy NEWT would be held in the Tower, than her whole happy mood was for nothing.
But, she would worry about that when the time came. For now, she was more concerned about trying to become a glow worm. Perhaps she would go and have a little visit with Professor Magnus.
She doubted the Astronomy Professor would know.
And speaking of him.. "Hello, Professor Rosemundo!" she greeted as she passed, and plopping herself down at a desk, she began humming the glow worm song to herself.

Ellie was so intently focused on going over what she knew of Astronomy already, which really wasn't much, that the happy sounding voice in her ear scared her. Her eyes grew a bit and she flinched at the sound. Turning her head, she saw a boy. A rather unfamiliar boy. Too unfamiliar to be giving a greeting such as that, and the redhead began to wonder if she really knew this kid, but just couldn't remember.
It was an awful feeling, being unsure of recognizing someone. "Hey," she responded. Hopefully, if she wasn't going crazy and in fact didn't know the kid, he'd be the first to introduce himself. She surely wasn't going to make herself look like a fool by introducing herself to a boy who might be under the impression that they already know each other.

Kennedy walked up the astronomy tower, his knees aching a bit. Why did it have to be so high up? When he finally made it, he entered the classroom and made to sit at one of the front desks. "Hello, Professor Roslund," he greeted with a grin. After taking his seat, Kennedy took out his notebook and pencil.
He wondered what was under the purple cloth. Would it relate to the last lesson about the full moon? He had no idea, but hoped it wasn't. He's had enough about the moon to last him a few years.

Sky hurried into the room, excited to see what Professor Roslund had in store for this lesson. "Hello, professor," the first year said, finding herself a seat and putting her backpack in the seat beside her. She noticed a cloth covered something sitting on the professor's desk. Hmm… I wonder what that is?

Ashley made it to the classroom faster than he usually had, because he had decided to challenge himself with running most of the way. He probably would have been even quicker, but halfway there, he'd been caught and told to stop, which was annoying, but probably safer. That was probably also the only reason he didn't arrive half-dead, and instead was just a bit out of breath.
"Hello, professor!" he said with a small nod as he went on to find a seat and drop into it, just sitting still for a while to catch his breath before preparing for the class.
Alyssa then spotted Janice, her Quidditch team mate sitting by herself. So Alyssa walked up to Janice and asked,"Is anyone sitting next to you, Janice? If you don't mind, may I join you?"
As usual, Janice's thoughts were wandering somewhere above the clouds when somebody came up and asked her something. It was Alyssa.
"Oh, yes, sure, erm, yeah..." she said, moving to her right while trying not to make a fool out of herself.
