Oh... oh.. no..

Katrina was lost!

She had managed to lose sight of the two people in red she was following when she paused to watch an older student turn their textbook into a bird. Just.. WOW! O___O

But not so wow now that she had no clue where she was.

She bit her bottom lip for a few moments, tilting her head to the side and scunching up her face as she thought about what to do. Keep going forward?

*nod nod*

So off she trundled along the long corridor looking totally bewildered.

Lexi was skipping off toward... well she didn't KNOW where... she just was. Hehe. Up ahead of her she spotted Katrina! Oh yay!!

Upon getting closer... she noticed she looked bewildered, or scared even. "Katrina, are you alright, lub? You look like you might be lost? Where you need to go? I know every inch of this castle!" she exclaimed in a very chipper voice. Lookit that! Salander had taken the sads right out of her and put the happy back in. Heh.

Oh... thank goodness! A friendly face! A friendly face who belonged to the Lion house. Rawrr. *giggle*

“LEXI!” Kat greeted the older girl with a big bright, albeit relieved, smile. “Oh... I fink I'm a bit lost.” She replied and scratched at her head in a confused manner. “The corridors are all so higgledy-piggledy...” She waved her arms to indicate exactly how higgledy-piggledy they were. “..and I'm not sure where the common room is.” She blinked wide eyed and blankly at the older girl.

“Do you fink you can you show me?”

Lexi let out a little giggle and nodded her head. "Yeah, until you get used to things around here... especially that bloody moving staircase... you can get lost reaaaaal easy. And I would be GLAD to show you to the common room. Stick with me little lion and I will show you the way," she said in a silly voice and then cracked up laughing as she linked her arm through Kat's and started to pull her toward the staircase.

"Other than being lost... how do you like things around here so far? Seen any of the cute boys and such?" she asked with an eyebrow waggle. Teehee.

Katrina's eyes went as wide as saucers as she looked up at the older girl, awestruck by this little bit of passing information. “A moving staircase!?” She exclaimed. “Is that like wot muggles have? Escalators? … only powered by magic?” W.O.W. This place just got more and more amazing!

She smiled warmly and brightly, not really bothered when Lexi linked arms with her. She may have only just met her on the train, but she felt she could trust the older girl. There was no threat.. nothing to be scared of here. “Fank you, Lexi.” She said gratefully.

She nodded her head in a approving manner when asked how she was finding things. “I've not really met many people yet.” She said honestly.. and then then let out a giggle at the girl's next question. “The boys here are much better looking than at my last school.” They seemed to know what spot cream was here.. and a hair brush. She giggled again, clapping her free hand over her mouth.

"I... don't know what an escalator is... but the staircase shifts and will move you to a different corridor than the one you want to be at sometimes. I think it has a mind of it's own sometimes," she said with a giggle.

A shrug slid off of one of the older girl's shoulder and she smiled brightly. "I don't mind helping people. Not one little bit. There is no need to thank me at all," she said lightly. She did like to be appreciated though so it made her feel like she was doing good deeds and such when she helped an underclassmen or a newbie to the school.

"Well I can change that... We could go to the common room and you can meet all sorts of people! You just have to get out there and talk to people." Twas the best advice she could give! She was once a little quiet thing here. Mhm.

Starting to giggle with her new found friend she nodded her head vigorously. "There are some amazingly handsome boys around here. You know... if there are any in particular you would like to meet, I would be more than happy to introduce you if I can," she said with GIGGLES.

Katrina blinked. Lexi didn't know what an escalator was? Oh.. Kat recalled Freddie saying said something about there being witches and wizards who didn't know anything about muggles – Trixie was one of them. It made Kat feel smart about something.. and this happened rarely. She listened to the older girl, eyes getting increasingly larger as she talked of this moving staircase. “Why does it move?” She asked. “Is it cursed wiv dark magic?”

Oh but Katrina's mummeh had taught her manners. She always said please and.. er.. 'fank' you. “I fink I'd be lost wivout you.” She confessed. And she didn't mean in terms of how to get to a destination.

She beamed brightly. Meeting new people would be so GREAT! She giggled musically. BOYS! She nodded her head, blushing a little bit. “I'll let you know.” She replied, reaching up her free hand to feel her hot cheek. “Are you going out wiv that boy I saw you at the feast wiv?”

Jay glanced behind him as he moved up the stairway for the third floor corridor. He didn't think he'd be this far without seeing Cass behind him. Had he been walking that fast so she'd have to chase him or maybe she did get held up by the head boy and was about to get detention. She did throw a shoe at his head after all, serves her right. Well he was going to be able to hide her shoe anywhere he wanted.

He gently rubbed the back of his head as he walked, since it wasn't that serious of a wound it was already starting to scab. He could have cleaned it himself, but he headed for the hospital wing anyways. There was no telling what types of germs was on the bottom of the shoe. The last thing he wanted was for the wound to get infected.

OOOOOh she was mad. That little git was going off with her shoe and she had to take the other foot off and walk bare feet through the castle. She tried not to let her mind wander to what kind of germs she was collecting on the bottom of her foot.

She thought she had lost him on the pathway up from the greenhouse but spotted him just as he got unto the third floor with her shoe in his hand."JAYLON SUMMERS! I want my shoe right NOW!" She demanded.

She whipped her wand out and pointed it at him." I mean it, give it back."

Jaylon stopped and turned when he heard Cass yell out his name, so she had got away from the head boy after all. Awww.... so much for hoping she got in trouble, but seeing how mad she was now, made him smile. "Can't do. If you wanted it you shouldn't have thrown it at me, now its evidence."

His eyebrows arched up when his eyes fell upon her wand as she pointed it at him. Fine, if she really wanted her shoe back that bad, he'll give it to her after some modifications. "I suggest you put that away, don't want to get yourself into more trouble." He pulled out his own wand as he talked, partly to defend himself, but mostly because he had a wicked idea. Instead of pointing it at her, he pointed it at the other shoe she was holding.

"Accio shoe," The spell was so sudden and unexpected that the shoe slipped through her fingers and floated over to him. With both shoes now in his possession he did a simple severing charm and cut both heels off. "Here," he said grinning, as he tossed one and then the other back to Cass. "I made some improvements, now you can't hurt anyone with them anymore."

She was fuming, FUMING!! How could this guy be so, so annoying and infuriating? She was really starting to hate Jaylon Summers. And now he was going to turn her in for hitting him when he was the one who upset her in the first place." Well I wouldn't have thrown it at you if you hadn't made me so bloody mad!"

"And I suggest that you don't tell me what to do, in fact---------WHAT? My shoe!!!!!" NO he did not just take her other shoe, now she had lost both pairs and he took the heels off both of them. That was the last straw with her. He ripped up her letter and now he ruined both of her shoes. She pointed her wand at him."Petrificus Totalus!"

He felt a lot better knowing that she couldn't do cause any harm with her shoes anymore, but that was only one pair. She probably had several more pairs back in the dorm. Maybe he could get someone to take all her shoes as a prank.

Uh ooh.... She was EXTREMELY upset now. "Cass don't you...." Jay started to reply just as the spell hit. Of all spells it had to be a body bind, now he couldn't do anything to retaliate. He stood there as stiff as a statue, his arm slightly raised with his wand between his fingers.

Cassie walked over to Jaylon and circled him, looking him up from head to toe. When she was satisfied that he really was completely frozen, she smirked."I'll be taking this," she said taking his wand from him.

She slipped his wand into her pocket and pulled him down unto his back. Man he was a lot heavier than he looked. She was definitely going to have to find someone to help her hide him somewhere until he learned his lesson, or until she wasn't as angry with him.

"Next time you'll think twice about messing with a girl's shoe or messing with a hufflepuff."

Gosh she needed to get him out of the corridor before a professor came or she would be in very big trouble. She needed her bestie. Pout.

After looking up and down the corridor Cassie dragged Jaylon to the side out of the way, maybe if they were busy enough they wouldn't notice a petrified boy.

Everyday was starting to be deja vu all over again, Chandler would always walk somewhere and then something weird would happen or something would happen to him or someone who he was with. He stopped and didn't move for a while because he had heard Cassie's voice echo near where he was stood. "Cass?!" Did some guy do something to her? BLINK. "Where are you?" The Hufflepuff called out to her again and advanced to where he had thought he heard her voice.

Woah. Why was Jaylon...petrified? O____O

"What in Merlin's beard iz going on 'ere?" The boy folded his arms and looked sternly at her. Heh, he felt Prefectish or professorish and impooooortanttt. xD

Just as Cassie was thinking about dragging Jaylon somewhere else she heard a voice behind her and turned around to see Chandler fixing her with a stern glance. Ooooooooooooh dear.

Well at least it wasn't a professor or anything like that, right? It wasn't like Chandler was going to turn her in. Well she hoped he wouldn't.

She opened her mouth to explain what happened but all that came out was,"He ruined my shoes!"

This was really messed up and he couldn't do anything to stop her. To think he actually thought he could fix things between them, now it was beyond fixing because all he could think about was getting revenge. She had better enjoy this while she could. Since he couldn't do anything, it left him to think of all the things he could do to her in return.

Brynn was ambling down the third floor corridor, in no rush whatsoever. In fact, the girl was quite preoccupied with the irksome manner in which her yellow nail polish kept chipping. Honestly, the lasted no longer than a day or two. Eh, she supposed that's what she deserved, though, for not putting an enchantment on them.

Her brown eyes lifted from her fingertips at the sound of rushed voices. Familiar voices. She immediately noticed Cassie standing there, by a very unconscious-looking Jaylon!, then she even realized that it was Chandler who was in on this too. "Ohmigoshh, what did you guys do to Jaylon?" She hustled over to examine her fellow Gryffindor. Heh. Poor chap.

Cassie's attention was drawn from Chandler when she heard the voice of her bestest bestest bestie. A huge grin spread across her face and for whatever reason she felt less panicked seeing Chandler and Brynn in front of her. Now they could help her stick Jaylon in a broom closet somewhere.

She pointed to her shoes when Brynn inquired about what happened and she reached into her pocket and showed them the pieces of James' letter that was left after Jaylon ripped it to shreds." And did I tell you guys that he cheated? Yeah..he did, he deserves it." She folded her arms and threw a dirty look at Jaylon's petrified body.

"I....I..need to hide him somewhere..."

OH. MY. GAGA.

Well..... actually, Brynn wasn't too terribly stunned that Cassie did something like this. Boys should know better than to mess around with that diva. hahh.

"He cheated on you?" She gave a disgusted eye-roll. Seriously. BOYS. Ughh. She didn't give a moment's hesitation before going over to help her best friend. "What a shame. I thought Jay had been a decent guy," she commented, situating her hands under his armpits so she could try to drag him off to... to.... "The broom closet! That's probably our best bet."

The two of them began lugging the dimwit off towards the closet, but then Brynn sent Mister Montague over thurr a look. What was this boy doing, standing there with his head on his shoulders. "Hey Muscles, get over hereee!"

Cassie beamed at her bestfriend. She knew she could count on her with her life. Well duh, she was more than a friend to her she was her sister, the only one she had ever really cared about.

"Yeah he did, with Lacey of all persons. I'm soooo ticked Bunny, ugh!" She rolled her eyes at the decent guy comment."yeah he fooled me too really, but you know Zach, his friend, had a point you know, but I ignored everything he said." She felt so stupid right now.

She nodded and grabbed Jaylon's leg. What was the boy eating? Cass groaned as her and Brynn attempted to drag Jaylon along to the broom closet. She stopped just as Brynn addressed Chandler."yeah Chan, he's not as light as he looks."

Hmm. Chandler didn't soft his facial features, he just hardened them. Why would ANYONE petrify someone because they ruined their shoes. He would just kick them like he wanted to kick Walnutty for peeing in his. -___- He took a quick look at Jaylon and eyed him up and down. The boy was sure frozen.

WTF? O___O Now BRYNN was here?!

Cassie totally planned this, didn't she? That's what it appeared to look like. "...Brynn?" Chandler had no idea what he was more shocked about, seeing Jaylon like this or seeing Brynn when Jaylon was like this!

And Jaylon CHEATED on her? Now this was more shocking of all three of them. "'E..'e cheated? WHY?!" Wasn't Jaylon a decent guy like Brynn said? Apparently not. "Wait. Wait. Wait. 'Old on a minute, you can't just 'ide 'im somewhere. 'E's a 'uman being do you really zink no one will find 'im and if no one did are you just going to let 'im stay in zere..forever?!" Did the spell even last forever? Chandler had no idea because he was DUMB.

Bunny? Lacey? Zach WHAT?! He chose not to comment.

"Cass! Brynn Don't! You could...we ALL could get into trouble! Just..unfreeze 'im or something. And don't call me Mr Muscles, Brynn. It sounds like zat muggle cleaning solution." And he was NOT a cleaning solution!

"I'm not going to pick 'im up or 'elp you guys. You don't need to do zis."

"Yeah, I thought he had changed," Brynn added, lugging the boy along. OOF. So heavy! She briefly looked up at Chandler when he said her name, but he sorta just trailed off, so she focused her efforts back on Jaylon.

Whaaaat was Chandler doing, standing around asking all these questions about the reasons behind Jay's cheating and how he cheated and all the little details. Now wasn't exactly the time! Then he went all prefect on them both. Merlin's beard, he needed to live a little. "Chill, Chandler!" The alliteration was purely coincidental. "Didn't you hear the part where Jaylon cheated on Cassie? Yeah, I'd definitely say he needs his comeuppance." She glanced down at Jaylon and gave a smile, tacitly saying 'this is what you get, bub!'.. or something along those lines.

Finally they had gotten him into the broom closet. Took 'em long enough! Or maybe it just felt like ages because of the circumstances..

Sigh. The Frenchman sure was afraid of getting into trouble! Quite frankly, Brynn thought Hogwarts was getting way too dull, and there was no way she was missing out on a prank like this. Thank Merlin she stumbled upon them. "Look, it's just the full body-bind curse, okay? It's not that dark magic crap." The way he was acting, he made it seem like they were killing the darn chap. "Besides, it's not like we're gonna leave him like this."

With that, she turned back to her best friend. "I say we tie him up, then take off the spell and leave him locked in the closet. If no one finds him by morning, we'll leave him in the middle of the corridor and some lucky firstie will happen upon him." And BAM. Finito. Well.. then would come the imminent visit to good old Headmaster Tate. Was it warped to say that Brynn had been so bored lately that she partly welcomed the idea of expulsion? Perhaps that was taking her extravagant antics a bit too far.

The girl glanced back at Montague with a grin when she caught his cleaning solution comment. "Don't give me any ideas, Mr. Clean. Next thing you know I'll have you in a tightie white tee and your head will bear resemblance to an egg." Now THAT would only occur if the Huffie decided to nark them out.

Ahem.

Cassie tsked and continued dragging Jaylon along with Brynn. Yeah she thought he had too but boy was she fooled. She couldn't believe that of all the people in the world, she got cheated on, she just didn't understand it. She would have never cheated on him. Thinking about it only infuriated her more.

" I don't know why he cheated on me! Why don't you tell me, he's of your specie after all."

Woaaaaaaah, when did Chandler become Mr.Responsible? Great, when they needed him to break some rules he decided to go good >________> Horrible timing on his part.

She nodded." I agree with the bestie. He totally deserves this Chandler, he brought it on himself and as Brynn said we're not going to leave him like that forever, just long enough for him to think about what he's done."

She grinned at Brynn fully appreciating her having her back like this right now." Thats a lovely idea Miss Pierce. Do you want the honours or should I take it?" She chuckled." Oh it's going to make their day." She snickered. Of course him being discovered would mean them being discovered but it was well worth the punishment if they got caught anyways.

Cassie had already been giggling at Chandler's muggle cleaning solution comment but by the time Brynn added the Mr. Clean bit she was roaring with laughter. Who knew being bad was so much fun. She quickly covered her mouth though, because she didn't want to draw attention to their location.

" You would better cooperate Chandler I don't think she's bluffing and I don't think you'll pull off the bald look too well." She tilted her head and looked at him."Or the tight white T either."

I DID NOT CHEAT!!!!! Well that was what Jaylon wanted to yell, if he could speak. He had thought Chandler would help him by canceling the spell Cass had put on him, but he didn't and when Brynn showed up things got worse. His only hope now was that a Professor would show up or that Chandler would actually be able to talk some sense into them, but with Cass in such a crazy and angry mood, his chances of being unfrozen was very slim.

Honestly, was everyone going to just believe Cass; that he cheated without even letting him explain. This was going to be bad, he no longer cared about getting Cass to believe that he didn't cheat, but if he had to convince everyone, then maybe they should hide him in a closet and leave him there for all eternity.
