What? What was going on???? One minute he was flying around carefree wanting to play and now he was being held down. LEMME GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! He squirmed, making horrible noises and bent his head down hoping to get a finger. Meanie lady.

He shook his little feathers free of dirt and GLARED at her! He was going to poo on her! He ruffled his feathers and flew over her before he POOED IN HER HAIR!!!! Yup that'd teach her. Hmph.

With a gleeful hoot he flew off back toward the post office.

Audrey noticed an owl flying around a girl. Audrey continued to stare blankly as the owl proceeded to excrete a fowl smelling substance on the poor girl's hair! Audrey did not know this girl, but she could tell she would be upset. Being too shy and awkward, Audrey decided to 'secretly' help the girl.
She cast the Disillusionment Charm on herself, which proceded to cause her to feel something wet & very cold running down her back. She crept behind a non-magical bush an whispered "Evanesco" and pointed it at the girl's hair. The white substance disappeared & Audrey crept back to where she had previously been.

Getting back to her Herbology assignment, Audrey checked her cedar boards once more, as she contemplated how to approach harvesting the Blue Lace which had, to her surprise, already started to bloom. 'Here goes nothing' she thought, as she ever so gently cut a handful of the flowering Blue Lace and laid it on the cedar boards to dry. Audrey walked briskly to the warmest but also dark spot she could find. This was next to some Camouflage Caps hiding underneath some dying leaves of a large tree above that made the entire area the foliage covered dark. She laid the cedar boards there and cast "Protego" on the boards. 'Maybe I do have trust issues', Audrey thought. 'Better safe than sorry when it come to schoolwork though'. She nodded proudly at her successful harvest and proceded on t the Camouflage Caps she had just seen.
Knowing how delicate these tiny toadstools are, Audrey decided to use a little more magic. "Accio Camouflage Cap" Instantly three of the toadstool were in her hands. She planted them right next to her Blue Lace's cedar boards, all three in a row. Instead of magis this time, Audrey walked over to the place where she'd seen watering cans. She picked one up and filled it in a spout next to her. She walked back to her plants and gave a generous amount of water to each of them. After placing a protection spell on all three, she decided to name them. The first she named Rowena, after her house's founder. The second Helena, after the founder's daughter, whom Audrey had a particular fondness for. The third she named Miranda, after the author of Goshawk's Guide to Herbology, which she had read previously.

One flower down, only one more to go.

Sure, Destiny knew that her bouquet could have more than two flowers, but after the stupid purple one she had just picked, she didn't want to risk getting another flower that was like that. She really had no idea who she could give the apology flowers to, and since she had already ripped them from the dirt, she had to use them.

Professor Bentley wouldn't be too pleased with a messed up garden.

Heaving an almost frustrated sigh, she began to glance around the garden for her next victim flower, but that search stopped once her eyes landed on Evelyn and that owl. Hehe. It was actually kind of funny, seeing her EX-best friend holding down the owl, but Destiny wasn't in the mood to laugh. And if she did, Evelyn would probably just think she was laughing AT her. She would just not look at her then.

Although, it was really, really difficult with the noises the owl was making. Finally tearing her eyes from the sight once the owl was let go, Destiny spotted a few yellow flowers not too far off and pulling her things along with her, she scooted herself closer. She was just about there when she glanced back over at Evelyn, and what she had seen made her stop in her tracks and eyes widen.

That owl just poo'd on her head. Forget the fact that it had magically disappeared as quickly, there was once poo..on Evelyn's head.

Staaaaaaare.

Eino's first plant of choice for the student gardens was the lovely Asphodel. The gardens were useful for planting useful herbs, but they also had to be appealing. It was a garden, after all, and not a greenhouse. Eino thought the Asphodel would make a lovely addition to the beautiful flowers already in the garden.

He made his way to the gardens with a heavy pot of several Asphodels he wished to replant in the garden's soil. He began by finding a spot, then placing the pot next to him, putting on his dragon hide gloves and digging. He measure the pot's depth, then tried to dig a hole just as deep as that. It took a while because this time he was using his bare hands. He couldn't afford to use the Gouging Spell for this because the space was very small and he was worried he would end up accidentally damaging other flowers' roots. He carefully dug until he reached his goal depth, but measure a second time just to be sure. Then he loosened and removed any additional soil, and gathered all of it in a small pile.

Before removing the plant from its pot, he moistened the soil with some water from a can, but no dung was necessary for the flower. He then carefully dug his hands into the Asphodel pot, loosening the soil and he dug deeper, and then he reached the bottom he carefully pulled the plant out of the pot and placed it in the hole. Using his hands he covered up parts of the hole but left enough space for the Asphodels to breathe. Finally, he watered the plant with the remaining water he had.

There, now the garden had some beautiful Asphodels, in addition to all the other flowers. Plus, these could also be used for potions so it wasn't just to decorate the garden, but that was his main purpose for replanting them there.

...

Just as she was thinking the owl was going to fly away, it did apparently, but...it gave her a parting gift. In. Her. HAIR!

She was hoping SO MUCH that it was a leaf or something from a tree somewhere that fell in her hair, but no. It was too...that was not a leaf. She didn't know what to doooooo! Sitting quite still, mouth open in disbelief and DISGUST, even that didn't give her any ideas with what to do. There was no way she was touching it, and it was just her luck to be horrible with cleaning charms and not remember any.

Glancing down, she spotted her gloves, which did give her an idea. Hastily picking one up, she put it on, but just as she was going to reach up to try and get to disgusting stuff out of her hair, the weight from where it was...disappeared.

Meh?

Touching the spot where she KNEW it landed, Evelyn was a tad surprised to see nothing on her dragon hide glove. Wha?



Looking around, the only person she could see in the student garden besides herself was Destiny, and she was standing closer to her than she was before. Did Destiny vanish the poo? She did know more about cleaning spells than Evelyn did.

Staring right back, Evelyn lowered her hand and...well, she stared back.

Was she going to laugh? Smirk? Anything to show amusement? This was the perfect opportunity to make fun of her, yet Destiny was just standing there and staring. Continuing to stare back without breaking eye contact, she reached down and picked up the second glove, putting that one on her other hand before dumping the rest of the fertilizer on a nearby bare spot of dirt.

Stare.

Then she mixed it all around, as if it were a fruit salad.

Stare.

And then...then she made a little hole in the ground before putting the rest of the tulip seeds, and covering it back up once again.

Stare.

Destiny just couldn't tear her eyes away from Evelyn. She kept glancing between her EX-best friend's face, and the place on her head where the poo landed, back to her face again. It was so disgusting. So disgusting that, if she even wanted to, which she did not, she wouldn't have been able to laugh about it. Who would laugh about that anyway!?

She wouldn't have laughed even if it happened to Raccoon Girl. And she really, really did not like that girl.

Blinking a few times as she realized she was being stared back at, Destiny mentally shrugged before FINALLY turning away from her and going back to those yellow flowers. She began to flip through her text once more, but remembering something, something important, she turned back to face Evelyn.

"They say if bird poo lands on you, it is good luck.."

It didn't make it any less disgusting or even a little bit funny, though.

For this next plant, Eino had to momentarily leave the student garden, and then come back. When he returned, he brought with him a bucket of flesh. It was some sort of animal flesh, but he didn't know what kind. It didn't really matter. He had gotten it from the kitchens and carried it to the student gardens. When he arrived, he looked around for a while, got lost, then finally found what he was looking for, the self-fertilising shrubs, and they looked hungry.

Eino placed the bucket nearby and before feeding it to the shrub he used his wand to slice the flesh into smaller pieces. He then began to eat the plant piece by piece with extreme caution. To further prevent being bitten he also wore his dragon hide gloves. The plants had been looking hungry, so Eino wanted to feed them to prevent them from trying to eat other students' flesh. They really seemed to enjoy it so it was probably succulent and delicious. Eino tried licking a piece of it, then put it in his mouth and began chewing it, but it was too chewy and he couldn't swallow it. He resumed to feed the shrubs and soon after they began, well, fertilizing themselves. It did not smell good. In fact, Eino began feeling nauseous but he couldn't stop now.

He took the time to evenly distribute the fertilizer with a a stick as best as he could. He finished by watering the plants, which only made the fertilizer stink even more. He looked inside the bucket and it was empty. He used his wand to cast the scouring charm and clean it, then packed all of his belonging and left the student gardens.

Ivan walked down to the gardens and looked around. He hadn't been here since.... TJ. Yeah he knew what had happened and how she broke up with him. He wasn't sure why she had but it was probably for the best right now.

Looking at his watch he sighed and found a bench to sit on while he waited for Lexi. Dancing huh...? This should be interesting.

Late. She was ALWAYS late it seemed. SIGHS.

She had left her wireless in her dorm as well, so it looked like she and Ivan would be dancing with no music. It could be done though, so she wasn't really concerned.

She had been smiling a good deal today, but it seemed to have wilted by the time she reached the gardens and Ivan. Putting on a better face she marched right up to him and held her hand out. "Let's dance." Need she say more?

Heh. Dancing made everything better. Yes, indeedy.

Ivan looked up as he heard someone coming. Seeing Lexi he smiled and shook his head. "What no hi? How rude?" he teased before taking her hand and standing up.

"Alright what kind of dance?" He asked as he stretched his neck.

"By the way I'm still mad at you for the record." Mmmhmm he was. Even though it might have actually done a bit of good for a change.

"Slow dance...ballroom... whatever. I just want to dance, really," she said with a smirk. She put one hand on his shoulder and then leaned into him a little bit and sighed.

"Figured you would be... but I really didn't know what was going to happen...and I did warn you, so you can't be TOO mad at me." That was her logic and she would maintain it. Mhm.

Slow dance. Right. He placed one hand on her back and with the other held her hand out with a small smile. Hearing her sigh he frowned slightly, "Are you alright Lex?"

"I'm not too bad at you. Just mad at myself I guess. Neptune wasn't happy when I told her." He sighed himself this time and started leading to no music. "James isn't happy with me. You aren't.... And Neptune doesn't believe I actually do like her. She thinks I'm having her on." Which he WASN'T. But...yeah. Sigh.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She was just moping a bit really... nothing new. No REAL reason for it that she knew. So she just lay her head on his shoulder and moved with him.

"Well I am sure I will hear it from her when she finds me, yeah. I never meant for it to get so out of hand or for you or Neptune to get hurt or angry. You are two of my best friends these days." Two of her only friends really. Heh.

"You really do like her... you wouldn't do that to Jimmy though, would you? I mean... we both know he will never admit that he likes her as much as he does, but... Oh hell. It's not any of my business. I am officially the worst friend ever," she said with a whiny tone.

She hated life right now. "I feel like... Sal is upset with me or something. He won't talk to me about it though, so I dun know. There is something bothering him though and it is making me sad."

Taking the opportunity of not being stared at for a few moments, Evelyn glanced down to her work and quickly tore off her gloves before picking up her wand, and watering the newly planted seeds. Now that she had this done, she could get out of here. The girl was already fighting hard to make sure her face didn't turn red, and the sooner she got out of here, the sooner she could stop fighting that. A nice long shower, regardless if the poo was still there or not, was indeed what she needed right now.

However, as she started gathering her things, Destiny's voice reached her ears, and...she had to stop and look over to the girl. The mere act of her talking annoyed Evelyn nowadays, but there was nothing wrong with what she said. In fact, it sounded like she was actually being nice.

Fiddling with her gloves and one of the plastic bags she had brought out here, Evelyn stared at the book Destiny was holding, frowning. Good luck?

"Who in their right minds were the first to say that?" And why was it some trending thing? Poo landing on someone was a rather awful day for them in her opinion.

Yeah fine. Mmhmm. She seemed it. NOT.

Ivan led her around the garden and smiled as she leaned her head against his shoulder. Hearing her talk about Neptune though his smile faltered. "I do like her and...I'm not sure. You didn't see how he treated her in the Common Room Lex. I think...that she has a right to be happy as well and, well, I think I do too. You're not the worst friend ever. I think that's reserved for Finn personally." He glanced at her and sighed. "Does it bother you that I want to go out with her?"

So there was her problem. He didn't really know what to say about that. "I doubt he's upset with you Lex. Maybe he just needs time to process things?" How should he know but at least he was trying to make her feel better.

She thought about things for a few moments as Ivan led her around the gardens... did it bother her? A little bit. Should it? "No. It doesn't bother me because of ME... it bothers me because of Jim I think. Hell I dunno, Ivan. It bothers me a little bit I think. But I know that it shouldn't and I have no right to say a single word about it."

"I haven't had a moment to properly speak to Jim about anything other than Yeabook stuffs and well, I feel as though Salander is avoiding me... and I just feel rather wretched at the moment," she said in a small voice. "What would he need to process? If he loves me or not? What if he decides he doesn't? What if he leaves me? I HATE being the needy, clingy irl, but I am not sure what I would do if I lost him, too, Ivan. And part of me... the logical part of me is saying I am just being crazy here, but I can't help it."

Sniffles MIGHT have been heard. Dammit, why was she being so emotional today?

Ivan pursed his lips and thought about what Lexi said. "James is a big boy and I'd rather not have you upset with me if I do ask her out. But even if it does I will do it anyway." He was as hard headed as they came when he wanted something. "I know she's your best friend but your mine as well. So doesn't it kind of negate itself?" He said with a smirk trying to ease the mood.

"Lex I think you're thinking too much into it." Was that sniffles he heard? Tilting his head he looked at her and stopped his movement to wrap his arms around her tightly in a hug. "He won't leave you Lex. I think the man would move heaven and earth to see you happy."

"Yeah and think about it like this...having his two best friends in the world do something like this to him... no I won't go on about it. Do what you want, you will anyway. So it doesn't matter does it?" she said with a shake of her head.

She turned her head just enough to wipe her face on Ivan's robes and sniffled some more before she looked up at him with watery eyes... no TEARS. Just allergies or something.

She hugged him back and said, with a wibble, "I think he gets tired of having to make me happy all the time. I think I am too high maintenance for him sometimes. Or most of the time rather."

Ivan looked at Lexi and sighed. "If he wanted to go out with her he would have already Lex." He sighed again and looked out at the garden leaning his head against her slightly. "I don't know what to do Lex, but I really do like her..."

Feeling her wipe her face on his robes he simply shook his head. Always with the robes huh?

"You are a fantastic person. And if he thinks that or gets tired of making you happy well... then he's stupid." He gave her a kiss on her head and smiled. "Think you need to get out of your head a little."

"He's not stupid. And I am not fantastic." Sighs for life.

"Perhaps I do need to get out of my head though...it's just hard sometimes because I really have nothing else to do but think. Think and think and think. I stay in my dorm and think, I sit in the library and think. " You would have thought she was a bloody Ravenclaw the way she overthought everything. FEH.

"Just don't hurt her if you do date her. I will reverse your knee caps and hex your ears right off of your head," she said in a warning tone... not that she needed to worry. Ivan was a fabulous person. One of the best actually. Not that she would ever tell him that.

As soon as she finished speaking, Destiny turned her attention back to the yellow flowers she was sitting in front of. It was probably a stupid thing to do, talking to Evelyn, but whatever hex she was, more than likely, going to throw at her, she did not want to see. No, no. It was better to not see the spell coming. Or something like that; she couldn't remember that muggle saying.

Frowning to herself, awaiting her SUDDEN DEATH, she quickly pulled out a few of the yellow flowers. Hopefully she would get at least partial credit for this Divination homework. Dying and everything, she wouldn't be able to hand it in. She was just about to place the yellow ones with those apology flowers, but hearing Evelyn talk back to her had her forgetting all about them.

Bliiiiink.

Was she really supposed to answer that question, though? Ehh.. "Someone who had a bird poo on them, I guess."

Someone who had...

Stare.

Was she serious?

Narrowing her eyes slightly, after a moment, Evelyn couldn't help but smile. Only slightly though. And she wasn't smiling because for the first time in weeks, they were having a civil conversation either. "Probably just said that so people would stop laughing at them." Probably.

With the seeds planted and watered, Evelyn finally realized that she still had that letter. Looking at the front, she didn't recognize the handwriting, which meant...it wasn't from him. Carefully opening it up, she left the envelope next to her and quickly scanned the bottom to see who this letter was from.

...SERIOUSLY!? He was bugging her at SCHOOL now!?



She would be ignoring that little plea about not tearing this letter up and burning it before she read it. After...she read it...though. Scoffing quietly, she folded it up again without reading it, and put it back in the envelope. Meh, she'll read it later. She was done here, so there was no point in staying.

It was true; Destiny could get confused a little too easily.

And this was one of those times. She really didn't know what Evelyn was doing. One second she was over there narrowing her eyes, and the next she had a smile on her face. But it wasn't one of those demonic 'I'm going to hex you into oblivion' smiles that could be seen on her face every once in a while. She actually didn't know what that one meant.

Returning the smile with a small one of her own, just because she had no idea what else she should do, Destiny turned back to her text book. She had homework to finish! Although, she did stop reading to chuckle at what Evelyn had said. That was probably true. Actually, she was sure it was true. Making something up like that to stop people from laughing at them.

Sounded like something she would do.

Glancing over at her EX-best friend, and noticing that she was busy with a piece of parchment, Destiny turned back to her book, scanning the page for the next flower meaning. There were a lot of yellow flowers as well, but luckily it didn't take too long to see the flowers she picked were wallflowers. Quickly writing down the meaning, she placed all her flowers together and packing up her books, she was just about to make her way out of the garden when she realized what she had written down.



Evelyn was being stared at again.

*Walking into the student gardens with Marie's hand in Matty's was the perfect end to a very confusing day. A day filled with finals was never fun but Marie could make him feel better about anything. Matty himself had Transfiguration, charms, and Muggle Studies in one day. Tomorrow would be Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, and History of Magic. Grrr school and learning.*
"So how did your finals go today?"

Marie looked around the garden amazed at how beautiful it looked. She really should have spent more time out here this year. Oh well, she was here now and she was going to enjoy her time there too.

UGH!

Talk of finals.

"Well you already know how terrible my potions final was." She never wanted to do another final like that one. "It's not really the finals that are getting to me though. It's the blasted O.W.L.'s. I'll be so glad when I'm done with them. What about you, how are your finals and O.W.L.'s. going?" Was he as stressed about them as she was?
