OOC: Before posting in this thread, you must first have been called back by Healer Moretti. To be seen by the Healer, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients first then in the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors.

Upon entering the Hospital Ward and Healing Area, you'll come upon a long hallway that eventually forks into two different directions. You'll want to proceed to the right, the direction that will take you to the Healing Area. Healer Moretti will be waiting for you. It is in the Healing Area that you'll receive the medical attention that will hopefully heal you right away and send you back to classes and your everyday life.

If, however, you aren't able to be healed right away and your character is in a rather serious condition, you will be escorted to the Hospital Ward, where you will receive further medical attention.

OOC: Once your character is seen and tended to, Healer Moretti will deem them "well" and able to return to classes/everyday life. If your character continues to suffer from repeat conditions, it's likely that he or she will be admitted into the Room for Quarantined Patients. If this happens, you will be temporarily placed in the "Quarantined" user group, and your posting in the school will be temporarily limited to the "Quarantined" thread only.

I will lock these threads once a session is finished. When a new session, and a new student is assigned to the room, the thread will be reopened.

Jake knew that this wouldn't take too long to sort out, but he was still bummed about Lafay. He felt betrayed, but he also felt... wrong. But for the life of him he couldn't work out what he'd done wrong.

Was it guilt? Maybe... but he'd never act on it.

Stepping into room two, Jake stayed out of the way of the door in case she were to come in soon, and stood there.

This was... awkward, since the feast and all.

She'd called him Jake.

Lily followed in shortly, waving the boy to a seat on the other side of the room, before she closed the door behind her, "What did you do to your hand, Jake?" Obviously he had hurt it somehow. But how?

Jake did as he was... shown to do(?) and went to sit down, assuming that this was indeed what she was wordlessly telling him to do.

"I, err... something hit it," Jake said simply, looking down at its swollen state.

Well... it was true. Kind of.

"Hmm." Lily turned to her cabinet, sifting through various potions until she pulled out the one she was looking for. She handed it to the boy, "Pain potion." She went through a lot of that stuff in a year.

"May I see it?" She held out her hand.

Jake grit his teeth ever so slightly, but he couldn't feel the pain much anymore, just pure discomfort. He coould FEEL that the bones weren't... right.

"That's good," Jake nodded. Broken fingers weren't bad; as a boy who climbed as a hobby, he had experienced broken fingers before at the mending of them wasn't too bad.

Anyway, yes. Lafay. "I asked if I could compete with her to make potions, to, you know, show her what I learnt and get a chance to ask questions about the subject, and she said that I've done nothing but disobey and disrespect her since she helped me last time. Which isn't true. At all."

And it wasn't. Only at the feast had he shown her the first sign of disrespect.

Jake grit his teeth again and hissed slightly as one of his fingers twinged uncomfortably for a moment.

"She said no, that she didn't care for my grades and expected to see me fail miserably anyway. I just felt... a little abandoned. I used to think so highly of her, then the stupid feast happened and now look. So... I got angry, and I left. And a wall suffered."

Hence the fingers.

And his voice getting more and more uneven. The whole thing upset him.

"This whole thing sucks."

Why did he come back?

Lily nodded, "You know, Jake, I know nothing of your interactions with Professor LaFay, and until tonight, I didn't even know you, I'm afraid the only thing I have to go on is the feast."

It was unfair to base his whole relationship with a Professor on one feast, but it was all she had, "And I must agree, disobedience is rude, and I understand that she did ask you more than once to sit, before directing to me." She continued to mend his fingers as she spoke, it was a bit of a long, delicate process, but, being a school nurse, she'd mended a lot of broken bones.

"As for Mr. Gevrik, I do believe you should have the opportunity to speak with him, in fact, I encourage it. I encourage you to listen to what he has to say, but to keep an open mind, and decide for yourself. A little change could be a good thing." One finger left. "And of course, about Professor LaFay, perhaps if she refuses to help, find one of your classmates, to help you, as I assume, if LaFay won't help herself, she might not wish to help you find a student, either."

The last finger was faster, because it was the smallest. When she finished, she looked up, "Surely you know of a student in your house, who is particularly good with potions?

"The instance earlier tonight is not indicative of all the other times we have spoken. I wanted my answer and I was entitled to get it," Jake insisted, wrenching his sunglasses off his face with his other hand, revealing his bloodshot eyes that he did not raise to meet Moretti's. "And because I did not do as I was told, which I still maintain I was right to do, she treated me like something unpleasant she was scraping from the underside of her shoe."

He left the bit about Gevrik, mainly because he agreed. He would be talking to the man plenty.

"It's not that I need help with potions," Jake explained, holding up his hand and flexing his fingers. "I'm perfectly able... Good, even. I just wanted to show her what I could do... Have an intellectual conversation. But as it is now maybe I just should let myself fail. If I have this issue with professors I will never function in the normal world."

He'll just be a rockstar. They all seemed to be socially awkward.

"Thanks for fixing me up."

Lily shrugged and pushed her seat back again, "I can't change how Professor LaFay treats you, Jake. It's going to be what it is going to be, the woman will do what she wishes, even if it's not particularly fair or nice."

Like the time she set fire to children.

"And don't fail, because then she will think she was right, and I know you're smarter than that." Nodding her head, she glanced at his hand once more. "Be careful for the next day or so, but you'll be fine. Good as new."

Reverse psychology... that was what all of this was. Jake had read about it and now he was SURE he was right.

He knew one thing. Lafay was always going to be a prized cow. He wouldn't waste his time with her, and he WOULD use the potions laboratory, and he WOULD brew what he wanted and he WOULD ask her questions.

Knowing it was a terrible habbit, but not liking the stiffness of his hand, Jake cracked the knuckles on his left hand, and then those on his right.

Like Lafay had done, herself. Merrrr. >.>

With that, Jake pushed his glasses back onto his face and stood. "Thanks again. I'll see you soon... hopefully under non-painful circumstances but I somehow doubt it. So... see you around the time of Quidditch try-outs."

Hehe.

"And good luck." At try-outs AND with LaFay.

Okay, heart to heart was over, meaning Jake could reapply his cool demeanour. He nodded his thanks to Moretti with a hint of a smile touching his lips, and departed with a simple, "Later."

Rafe entered the room after heading down the long hallway. He didn't really know where to go once inside. Should he sit or just stand? He decided to just stand in the middle of the room with his hands behind his back and waited for the nurse to give him further instructions.

Rafe did as she asked and couldn't help but smile. Healer Ashford was quite a looker, but this new nurse could've been part veela. He felt like he was a little bit in a daze, maybe that punch effected his judgment more than he thought. Rafe shook his head and focused on answering her question, "Yes, well...um the lip isn't that bad, it's stopped bleeding, but I was wondering if you have anything for scars?" It was evident he had a few on his face, but they weren't as bad as the ones on his back and chest, which weren't seen.

"Ah, here we are." She held it out to him, "You have to use it twice a day and it may take a few days, depending on the scar itself, but it should make them go away soon enough. Magic is good like that."

Well, it seemed she wasn't fazed by his not so subtle staring. She probably got that a lot anyways, just like the new Charms professor got it from the ladies. Rafe had heard this story before. He was sure it would work on your average scar you're get from a scrape, but how about magically inflicted scars. "Um...what about scars inflicted by..." this was always an awkward subject, "...by werewolves?"

Rafe took the vial. He was hoping for a more definitive answer and he was a little surprised she didn't inquire more about the scars. She might've been prettier than Ashford, but at least Ashford gave him more than a shrug. "Umm...thanks I guess." He stood up and walked out of the room. Rafe had no hope that his scars would ever go away.

Ellie limped down the long hall and took the right turn of the fork. She stepped inside of Room Two of the Hospital with Hyun. She looked around. It smelled... hospitally. She shrugged and waited for the nurse.

Hyun let the girl go in first in de second room.
He felt bad when he looked at her limp towards a chair which he thought was a strange feeling because Hyun had never felt guilty to anyone before. Maybe it was the fact this girl, Ellie, had actually saved him from that stupid tree. Why wasn't she a Gryffiondeor or however you call that house? She obvliously did something very brave ... And stupid..

Taking a seat next to Ellie, Hyun held his left hand to check it out and only now he realised how swollen it looked compared to the other hand. Sighing deeply, Hyung leaned back in his chair and waited for the nurse
