I am hoping you aren't going to be too busy to keep me entertained some." At least some. There was a question in there somewhere.

"So about this remembering you for you good looks?" Now Jacob... Giggle. She put a hand on her hip and LOOKED at him.

"Yeah... last year, 'cause of my year off, I couldn't wait to get back to school through the summer. It was just so looooong..." he shrugged as he sat beside Neptune. "I guess you know what I mean... maybe."

No two situations were ever alike... so... who knew if she knew?

"As for keeping you entertained, I had something to ask you about that..."

Jake trailed off. He'd left it so late to ask, so he was ready for rejection, but now there was something else to address...

"What? Am I not good looking?"

The young man gave a pout, mostly kidding around. Mostly. Hehe.

Dallin scoffed, not able to imagine Satine 'kicking his butt.' Not that he didn't think she could, just that he didn't think she would. "Well, we wouldn't want that, then, would we?" He didn't mention the fact that he didn't have friends that would be around to see it. Anyway.

He nodded once defensively. "I did. And i quite like it, thank you very much. Dal-Logic. As in logic that makes perfect sense because Dallin thought of it." Obviously.

He watched curiously - while trying not to look like he was staring - as Satine's hair and eyes changed. But just as quickly, it was back to normal. Had he imagined it? What was wrong with him? He smiled sadly when she said she'd miss him. "I'll miss you too," And here goes the emotion stuff again... "Of course. You, um, well... you're kinda one of my only friends here." Sure, he'd met a lot of people, but he only had a few friends that he could call good friends. Satine was one of them.

And now... he couldn't help himself. "Did you hair just change colors a minute ago? I could've sworn it went a bit pink..." And if it hadn't... he hoped she wouldn't laugh at him.

Neptune reached up to adjust new felty purple crown. She was torn on whether or not it was a good thing Jake hadn't mentioned it. It either meant he was SO immune to her being queen he hadn't noticed OR ...he didn't like it and was being polite. She was going to assume the former. Giggle. She WAS, after all, the Queen. Prefects SAID so.

"I DO know! Mother wasn't going to EVER let me come back until J..Jim and I... " put on a whole SHOW/presentation about WHY they needed to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry..."... talked her into it." Something like that. Neptune moved swiftly on without even the smallest glance around. All eyes on Jake.


"Mmmm?" Ask her? Okay.... "Is it bad?" Neptune ... did not like the way he was ... pausing or whatever. It must be bad.

Instead of answering whether or not he was good looking, Neptune pulled her knees up under her and leaned over into Jake. She PINCHED his cheek and ruffled his hair - you know, determining whether or not he had The Good Looks. Giggle.

Jake... looked at the crown.

After a small glance, he looked back at Neptune's face again. Hmmmm. "Funny... before I had that summer issue I was always begging to be homeschooled. Unfortunately it wouldn't have worked out seeing as both my parents worked here..."

HmmmmmMMMMm. The way Neptune was like... messing with his hair and face was worrying. Apparently he wasn't goodlooking enough for a straight up answer.

Well... that was certainly bruising to the ego.

It didn't matter though. Jake's next question stole the show and her attention and thoughts in one go. BLINK. "You are?" He hadn't mentioned it? Had... he over heard her telling Lexi she wished she was going on a holiday and he was asking NOW? Frown! Neptune didn't LIKE feeling like an afterthought.

...and bring Randal? WHY? Wouldn't Jake take care of her...? MORE FROWNS.

"Where are you going?" It came out..... more than a little pathetic. She crossed her arms and forgot about the hunt for Good Looks.

Kyle laughed to what Rex had said his astonishment about the wand, "Remember the day we met my wand well....wasn't the right one and backfired on me." She laughed, rubbing her forehead once more. "It was quite a day making friends and nearly blowing the great hall up at the same time." She laughed.

"Anyways Rex I love garlic too but it makes me have really bad breath for well...a long time, and I don't want to smell up to the train ride tomorrow." She laughed running a hand through her hair as she took a bite of the salad infront of her. Yay for healthy salads.

She smiled taking a sip of her drink and sighing hiccuping slightly. Dry food like chicken, and bread sometimes did that to her made her hiccup that is.

HIC the sound could be heard through the entire great hall. HIC

The noise was becoming more and more shrill, she placed her hand on the table as her body shook from the hiccups - they sounded like little dogs barking.

Taking a sip of her water she hoped they would go away but in order to not disturb her entire house she got up and walked off for a minute or so.

"You read me like a book," Stephen laughed as Aimee guessed what he had eaten before the feast. And she was right. He had consumed a bit more than half of his chocolate frogs before arriving here. But Stephen couldn't really help himself. The sweets were just there and in arms reach, so yeah. That was that. "Smart girl, I see. I guess you won't have any problem getting around Italy. And yes, I would love to show you around Terni," Stephen smiled. That would be fun. But maybe he'd have to keep Aimee away from the danger spots he had visited with his brother and Lexi.

"Haha, okay. But I'll try to be safe just for you," he smirked and and gave her a small shrug. No harm in that, right?

Aimée laughed. "Well et es safe to say zat you are ze only one," she said. She couldn't read anyone else like a book, but in all fairness it had been a lucky guess. She would have done it too, but she'd locked all of her sweets away. Saving them for the long train ride in the morning. "Of course I am smart - I am in Ravenclaw, aren't I?" she said with a smirk, looking at the boy from under her eyelashes. As was he: that was what Ravenclaw was about, right? Smart people. "I 'ope I shan't, but I shall owl you if I ever get lost. Ah, so eet es a plan, zen?" It would be fun, she admitted, to see Stephen that summer, have him show her 'round Terni.

"Not just for me - for your friends and your family, no?" It would be weird if it was just for her.. quite really scary.

Eirian wandered over to the Ravenclaw table and sat down, looking for someone who she knew. She expected Amy to be there, but she wasn't... So, instead of looking like a fool, she simply sat down and grabbed a plate. There was nothing she really wanted- hunger didn't make itself known to Eiri very much anymore- so she plucked a roll from its basket and began nomming. With her hair newly dyed black, hipster glasses, and giant sweater, Eirian imagined that no one that she knew would recognize her anyway. But if they did... She'd love the company...

" I remember the wand incident now" Rex told Kyle." It was a quite aa day" Rex said to Kyle." I do not worry about "garlic breath" Rex explained to Kyle laughing.

Sitting again, she laughed, "Yeah it was really funny...I normally don't worry about it - its just a whole train ride with people in a compartment with you...you don't want to kill them with simple chatting." She added laughing as she ate a bite more of her food. It was good.

" It was funny" Rex told Kyle." Yes, chatting in close quarters and everyone would know I have garlic breath" Rex said to Kyle." I will miss this food" Rex smiled.

"Hmm...no doubt it is wonderful, especially Holidays and the beginning and end of term feasts...when they have peppermint patties." Kyle smiled picking a large one out of the bowl infront of her and placing it on her plate. Knocking a fork onto the ground she looked below and saw a niffler? What was that doing down there.

Scooping it up, she sighed. "I'll be right back, I'm going to bring this guy to his owner." She stood and walked towards the Slytherin table.

"Yep just found out!".. she was still buzzing from the high. It was amazing news and it definately impacted on her mood.

Hhhmm that was an interesting question, one which Emily didn't know the answer to.
She scanned the other house tables... it was hard to tell hat was going on. Did anybody else apply for it?
"I'm not sure", she replied to Jimmy.
"It's a posibitility."

Emily looked down at Jimmy, he was always soo... chilled. She would miss that about him.
"Do you have any plans for when you graduate?" she asked.

Emily smiled, "Oh yes, floo would be much much faster."
Emily looked down at the letter in her hand. A huge smile lighting up her face.
"Yep... it's the one." she said waving it in front of him.
"I was accepted into the Youth Auror Training Initiative, so I'll be doing that and working part time at the ministry. Hopefully I'll be a fully fledged Auror in a few years."

"Good," Spike said with a grin. Because as much as he wasn't a fan of writing and didn't have his own owl, he certainly did love to receive post. And interesting post about catching bad guys? Even better!

And a hug? Oh yes! He wasn't quite so sure about the hair ruffle, though truth was it couldn't exactly get any messier. And Matilda was well out the way, so she wouldn't mind. And Emily wasn't crying now, so that was good. Emily was too good to cry.
Spike winked at Finn and Emily. He was only playing, of course. But still, he got his hug, and maybe more would come. He gave them a cheeky grin. One of those, "I'm innocent" kind of ones.

"Loves you?" Spike's nose wrinkled, and he gave Finn a look of mock disgust. Whether it was the thought of love, or Finn, or really what wasn't clear. They probably wouldn't find out either, as then Emily got exciting post.

"Congrats!" Spike said enthusiastically, though was actually fairly clueless as to what Emily was talking about, and more distracted by the latest addition to the table.

"Hey Jimmy!" he greeted with a grin.

Nows, how about some foooood?!

"Yeah, but Ravenclaw is also the good looking people. Though I can't say that for everyone, BUT who am I to judge?" Stephen shrugged and took a small bite of his food. Which had now gone cold considering he was barely touching it. That was the last time he was going to show down on sweets before a special feast of some sort. "Alright, sounds like a plan to me. Hopefully my mom won't make my brother come along or else I might actually want to get lost," Remembering the last time he visited Rome with Leonard, Stephen would definitely want to get lost. Or at least hide away from his brother and go back home by hmself.

"They're used to me putting myself in danger. Why do you think they sent me here too? Because there's always teachers around in case something happens,"

"Nowhere fancy..." Jake shrugged, fiddling with a fork on the table and spinning it slowly. "I've sorted most of the details but there's this one last thing..."

He'd had it decided for a while, and when he'd been avoiding Neptune the final plans had come through... Jake had never mentioned anything about it further than the planning stages because it was acknowledging that he'd be leaving.

But he didn't say this out loud.

"Romania. To get a little bit of experience with dragons... Heath said if you wanted to come he'd pay out for a couple of hotel rooms, but he's not coming or anything. I meant to ask you earlier but..."

Buuuuuuut they hadn't really been talking.

"... and I didn't know if you'd want to." Jake still wasn't sure.

As for now he kind of looked like a kid who'd been caught with his hand in the sweetie tin, and for the moment fiddled with the end of his tie, rolling it around the handle of the fork. Dooooop.

Jake flinched backwards at Neptune's exclamation, and kind of winced. Yeah... probably should have been more gentle about it. "Uh...yes?" he tried, and kind of, leaned back forwards again. She didn't seem to get violent at that. "Not... not too dangerous. Just watching them handling them... maybe helping out with the babies or the old ones or the sick ones..."

He was actually SUPER looking forward to it.

" Well, the holidays are festive but we all go home" Rex told Kyle."End of the term and beggining of the terms feast are really great" Rex said to Kyle." Ok, bring that " bad boy" to the ownwer" Rex laughed.

" Thanks for reminding me about the easy way" Rex told Emily. " I am so happy for you" Rex said to Emily." I am sure you will like the Ministry and training to become an Auror" Rex explained to Emily.

"If I wanted a barbecued boyfriend OR to be barbecued myself I would just ask Lexi to do it! I wouldn't need to go all the way to Romania." Neptune explained in a haughty, but well-meant, manner. She took Jake's face between her palms when he leaned forward, not REALLY needing to "look" for his handsome. It was always there.

But it might not be if some dragon, baby or not, ate his FACE OFF.

"Why do you do dangerous things, Jacob? I don't get it. I wouldn't ever make a good widow."

"But... but... but..."

Jake's bottom lip was close to wibbling but he reigned it in.

"I really love dragons... they're my favourite animals. This is an amazing chance and I figured that you wouldn't worry so much if you came along with me. You wouldn't have to see the dragons or get near them if you didn't want to..." he trailed off.

He was about to add that she didn't HAVE to come, only if she wanted to... but he was so used to saying the wrong thing that saying nothing was the best alternative.

Instead, he looked at Neptune as she held his face. "It won't be as dangerous as Quidditch was."

She didn't want to go see dragons. That was NOT a romantic trip to Greece, FYI. Neptune pulled her hands back into her lap and worried at her own bottom lip. "Quidditch can't, and never will want to, eat you." The same could not be said for dragons. But... if that's what he wanted...

"I have apparation lessons that mother scheduled and I promised my sister I would go to the beach with her Durmstrangers." She had kind of planned on inviting him to that, despite what Ola had thought, but apparently not. "Maybe you could pick me up for a date or something though?" At least?

Ehhhhh?

Summertime sucked.

"I see," Jake nodded, looking away and back to the table, as if urrrrrrging the food to appear. Not that he needed it to... Jake had been down in the kitchens already...

Well he was HUNGRY.

Jake was also annoyed at the way Neptune had said his favourite animal wasn't an animal in her eyes. He KNEW it was her opinion... but he really was intrigued by the creatures. He probably thought of them as equal to humans.

"I probably should have asked you earlier," he added immediately with a smile, so his disappointment never showed. Jake kind of figured Neptune wouldn't have wanted to come along either way.

Beginning to build a small tower out of knives and forks, Jake nodded at what he was hearing. Sister... mother... Durmstrangers... beach... OH. That could work.

"Well, provided you don't run off with any Durmstrangers..." he smiled in a mischevious way. "I'm sure I can do that. Maybe... when I go see my mother, too, you can come visit for a day? She lives on the beach."

Or coast. Whatever. He couldn't remember. Same thing when you got down to it. "Whether you do or don't, I'm definitely gonna take you out one night."

A PROPER date. They hadn't really had one before.
