SPOILER!!: Jacob and Spike Hah! She KNEW he wouldn't go to the Hospital wing. She totally called that one. And Ellie wore a satisfied grin because of it as she watched Jacob get up and leave. After she heard a voice, she turned to see little ol' Spike under a table. Awwwwwwww. Poor kid! "It's fine," Ellie nodded. And he still wasn't sure if he belonged here? Ellie was sure he did, but she didn't offer words of comfort or anything this time. Nah, he'll discover it on his own. He DID make it past the knocker, after all. |

SPOILER!!: Jim+Finny No, Finlay Carmichael - Neptune Bott did not want that tiara. Except for the part where, once Jim had saved the day and kept the entire House from dying of smoke inhalation and/or BURNS, she totally put the tiara in her robe pocket. Quietly, in and among the ruckus and clean up,Neptune got up to head towards her dormitory. She smelled like smoke now and needed a shower and new robes. And to get out of the Common Room. "Just turn the cushions around for now. I'm sure the House Elves will take care of it while we sleep." Neptune proceeded up to her dormitory. |

Well. At least nobody else had tried to start a fire. That was pretty good. Finn glanced at Jimmy, just as the dude who had been on fire like...disappeared. Then reappeared, and then ran off. Well. That was interesting. Maybe he was going to go to the hospital wing...because if he had a burnt butt then Finn assumed that it was not going to be much fun. Hmmm. Should they go to Vindictus. Well...Finlay was going, because one he was lazy, and he had a feeling that their head of house was going to hear about this anyway. It wasn't as if the guy didn't come down to the common room all the time. He turned to Ivory, because well she was prefect, and like he should talk to her right. "Maybe one of us should go...and the other stay?" Just incase someone else decided to make a fire, because that would not be cool. Although it probably would be fun to watch, and he liked being entertained. |
Anyone (: Charisa didn't get lost. She was just exploring the rest of the tower. Yep. And now she nervously approached the eagle knocker at the entrance of the Ravenclaw Common Room. What if it gave her a riddle that she couldn't answer? G-gasp. What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a bed but doesn't sleep, has a head but never weeps? Oh, silly knocker. Charisa got past that one easily. Made it went easy on first years. She entered the common room and looked around for anyone she knew. And failed. Darn. |
Jenga!!! Satine ran up to the dormitory and then quickly came back down to meet Kellen. She coughed a little bit as she entered the CR again...that smell was going to take months to get out. She would have to go find someone who knew a good air freshening smell...maybe she would go visit the Herby professor...surely he had a plant or two that would freshen things up. When she came back down, she was carrying a medium sized plastic blue tub. She hurried over to the table and set the tub down beside it on the floor. Then she cleared off a spot for them to play Muggle games. Satine plopped down beside the tub for a minute and popped the top off of it. Inside were tons of Muggle games. She just loved them. She had Monopoly, Jenga, Twister, Clue, Life, Scrabble, and...well that was all that was on the top level...who knows what else was there. She grabbed the Jenga box and then hopped back up to the table. She set the box in the middle of the table and waited for Kellen to join her. She was so excited! |
SPOILER!!: Jimmy and Ellie Withdrawing back under the table, Spike looked at Killy and Kranky, before putting them back safely into his pocket. He wasn't taking any chances with his pets in this mad house. Who knew what it might do next? He slowly crawled out from his position, a look between distain and worry on his face. He really didn't know what to think now. He looked between the guy who spoke to him and Ellie. "First it won't let me into the Common Room that is meant to be mine, and then when I finally get in here, it's on fire." He puffed out his cheeks, and gave a nervous glance round the room as he slowly stood up. "There better not be any other silly tests...because, I'm already pretty sure I'm not meant to be here." His shoulders slumped. He'd been so excited about exploring the castle, and now his wasn't sure if he could leave this room for fear of not being able to get back in again. "Pfft. Scaring Killy and Kranky for no reason...and probably Matilda too..." He would check on Matilda, but knew that'd be a bad idea in front of Miss Ellie. He did feel a movement in his curls though, so that was a promising sign. "So why don't you belong here?" he asked the older guy softly. Surely he didn't have riddle and fire issues. Not all on his first day, anyway. |

And, in truth, no matter how insane Jacob was off the pitch, he was a pretty amazing Beater on it. "Are Killy and Kranky, okay?" Matilda....she didn't care about. |

He'd been out checking halls the night of the feast, making sure all the first-years were rounded up and heading to their common rooms, but he'd heard about what happened. Some guy's butt had made like a fire crab while he was sitting on the couch. Plus, he'd seen the aftermath. While Satine went to get the game, he set about conjuring several bouquets of flowers to mask the burnt smell. It was a temporary solution, but... at least it made the common room smell a little better. That done, he took a seat at the table and peered into the tub of games Satine brought back with her. There was the nefarious Twister, and a rather monumental one called Life. You could play Life? Was it anything like his sisters when they played house? His attention went back to the Jenga box, "All right, let's play this thing." This strange 'build a tower, take away its supports, and be amazed when it falls down' game. |

"Alright let's do it then...now this won't be as fun as dancing with the suit of armor...but you know." she said teasingly as she opened the box and grabbed a few of the little blocks and started stacking them. "It is an easy game," she said pointing at the picture on the box depicting Muggle screaming and throwing their hands in the air as the blocks fell. "At my house we play it once Muggle style and then my mom charms all the blocks so that they each are a surprise and it makes the game even more adventurous..." well that wasn't the exact word but it worked. |

Sofia entered the common room slightly out of breath; something she would have to get used to. The common room was nothing like she thought it would be. Well, apart from the colour, she thought that the colours would be blue and bronze. It was so large, with the beautiful windows. Crossing the room she gazed out of the window. Pushing her face close to the glass she thought aloud, “I wonder what the view is in the daylight?” She moved back and saw that her breath had made a mark on the cold window. Carefully she drew a smiling face in the mist; that made her smile. She spun round to face the grand room taking in all the bookcases and students there. Her gaze was drawn by a white statue stood in a small niche opposite the door. She moved towards it and read the words etched into what looked like a crown, ”Wit beyond measure is man’s greatest treasure”. Sofia liked that, she suddenly realised that she was looking at a statue of Rowena Ravenclaw. She thought how Rowena stood out a lot being white in a blue and bronze room. She sighed as she flopped down in a nearby chair. Putting her head back seeing for the first time she saw the ceiling. It made her gasp. It looked like it went on forever the ceiling. It was, domed as it was and covered with painted stars (which Sofia thought the carpet mirrored). She tried but couldn’t stifle a yawn indicating to her that she should find her bed. She moved back to the statue, staring at it before making her way up to the dormitories. |
Timothy looked around the crowed of other members of the House of the Raven's Claw. A strange name, but if it inspired loyalty, than it did its job. He did know now, not to practice fighting moves here, so since there wasn't a friend in sight, He began to write another letter home. |
JP sits down on one of the seats in the common room feeling slightly like a stranger in a place that should be his home. He looks around . "It feels like i'm the only one here. I wonder if anyone else is around." |
