Muggle Studies Lesson 2 Once again, upon entering the Muggle Studies classroom you find Professor Zookara sitting at his desk, partly covered by what is on the desk: something rather long, almost human-sized, covered with a black blanket. Nothing to suggest what is under the blanket, though. |
Muggle Studies. Helena was kind of nervous about this class. The same old living-in-a-pureblood-family-and-not-knowing-anything-about-muggles story. The only things she knew were the ones she read about in her textbook. And yes, she read it all. "Hello, professor." She smiled as she walked past professor Zookara, then sat down where she usually sat. The girl stared at a... thing? It was... something, placed on his desk. |
Lexie entered the Muggle Studies classroom quietly. "Good day, Professor," she squeaked. Looking up at the Professor, she realized that her view was partly blocked by an oversized object, wrapped in a black cloth, placed on the desk. She then proceeded to take her seat next to a girl she knew was a fellow first-year. |
Luin walked into the classroom with her bag in tow, heavy with books. She found a seat near the front of the classroom quickly and pulled out her quill and parchment. She then settled down and finally looked at the teacher, about to say hi, "Hel...." she stopped mid-sentence, having finally seen that there was something else there. She frowned, wondering what it was, but decided to say hi anyways, "Umm...Hello Professor" |
Maddie walked into the classroom, books in hand. 'Morning, Professor,' she said with a grin. She liked Muggle Studies, it was generally pretty fun. She sat down at a desk near the front, setting her books and quill down on the table. As she was arranging them into a neat little pile - god, maybe she had OCD or something - she looked up at the Professor's desk. What in Merlin's name was under that sheet? She hoped it wasn't anything weird or creepy... it reminded her of Frankenstein, for some reason. It was pretty much human-sized, afterall. He could have an actual Frankenstein under there! |
Chloe entered the muggle studies classroom at a leisurely pace. As she approached the professors desk she saw a large lanket covering something rather large. As she passed the professor she noticed him smile in a bit of a scary way or aleast thats how she saw it. She turned to the professor and said, "Ha, hello Professor", and then quickly took her seat. She hoped whatever the professor had in store it would not be as freaky as what she was thinking. |
Evelyn needed the break, hence, why she was coming to Muggle Studies class. Needed that break from numbers, history, and transfiguration spells that still hadn't quite gotten the hang of yet. Eh. "Good day, Professor." Could she just start calling him ZooMan? It would make his class so much more interesting to her! However, the black blanket, and the long thing, and the weird look in his eyes just...she didn't want to be there anymore. Break was over. They weren't doing anymore RPC or whatever it was again were they? |
Alex walked into the room, his eyes immediately falling on the large...something hidden under the blanket. He just stared at it for a few moments before taking his seat, smiling at the professor, who looked awfully excited about the lesson. That just made him even MORE curious about what was under there! "Hello professor," he said happily as he grabbed a quill and parchment out of his bag, preparing for the lesson. He was glad that this was Muggle Studies and not Care of Magical Creatures, where something hidden under a big black blanket could probably bite your head off. Whatever was under there, he was sure it was harmless, right? |
After what seemed like HOURS in the kitchen, Destiny finally picked out the best two apples she could find. Or the best two apples she had the house elves find for her. Secretly, though, she hoped they both had worms inside..especially if they were for Professor Zookara to eat. She would love to see the look on his face when he bit into a worm. Hehe. Skipping into the classroom, she stole a glance towards the Professor and the big thing that was on his desk..covered by a sheet. He was up to something, for sure. Especially with that creepy look in his eyes. "Hello, Professor!" She was going to keep her eyes on him, she was. Making her way over to the seat next to Evelyn, Destiny started to dig in her bag and pulling out the apple, she placed it on her friend's desk.. "You forgot one of these. Good thing I remembered." Eh, might want to dust it off and all first.. |
Jaina entered the classroom with a "Good morning professor!" and quickly took her seat. She noted that not everyone had arrived yet so she pulled out her Shakespeare book and continued to read Much Ado About Nothing for the gazillionth time. |
Tossing her apple gently from palm to palm, Ivory made her way into the Muggle Studies classroom with a bounce in her step. Today was going to be a good day, she could feel it. Grinning at the Professor, she waved her apple at him. "Afternoon Professor." And what a good afternoon it was. But then again maybe it was just that she was in a good mood. A good mood she'd been in ever since the previous weekend...her birthday weekend. A whole year older. Smiling at the other students already there, Ivory weaved her way through the desks and sat herself down in an empty seat. |

Holding an apple in one hand, and her bag in the other, Emily walked into class humming to herself. "Good day Professor" she said quietly as she passed and took a seat. Oohh! What was under the sheet? And why had they needed to bring an apple? And did it matter that hers had a bite out of it? |
Kurumi made her way into the classroom and took her usual seat in the front. Perhaps today they were going to discuss the massive collection of rubber ducks in his office? "Good day, Professor," Kurumi smiled as she got out her parchment and quill. |
Nika tossed her delicious looking green apple up and down. She was so tempted to eat it, she was almost drooling just looking at it. Nika walked up to her professor to say a quick 'how do ya do?'. As she walked up to her professor she tossed the apple in the air once more, but this time she wasn't able to catch it. When she picked it up she noticed that she had given it a BIG bruise. "Hi Professor! I'm looking forward to todays lesson." Nika smiled sweetly. Muggle studies was a piece of cake! She lived and grew up with muggles all of her life. She was a muggleborn for Merlin's sake. "Er Professor, is it alright if my apple is a bit bruised?" she said as she glanced down at the big brown spot on her green apple. |
Caroline walked into the Muggle Studies classroom. Apple in hand. She walked passed Zookara. "Good morning, Professor Zookara." She said with a smile. Zookara looked very excited today. She noticed the black blanket over the desk. She eyed it as she continued pass it. She found a seat. She placed the apple in the corner of the desk and waited patiently for class to start. |
Skipping. She hadn't done that for what seemed like years but that was what she was doing now. Skipping down the corridor with a green apple in her hand. She entered the classroom, hoping her mood wasn't going to deflate any time soon. Not even by the black blanket that covered... something. "Good day Professor," she said as she walked past Professor Zookara's desk. Eyeing the object with a hint of curiosity in her eye, Kita walked towards a desk near the front of the classroom and sat down. The smile stayed on her face as she put her apple on the desk, took out her things and looked towards the front again. |
Muggle Studies! Great. It was a lesson she enjoyed, though she didn't always understand it, it was certainly something she was going to have to get used to seeing as she WAS with a Muggleborn. The Slytherin wandered into the lesson, grinning over at Jeremy and making a mental note to ask him something later. "Morning Professor Jer" Yeah her usual greeting because she felt awkward calling him by his first name. She took a seat near the front, not JUST because she enjoyed looking at Zookara's pretty face. Nuh uh, she didn't think him good looking whatsoever. Pfffft.. the Head Girl smiled at him and got herself prepared for the lesson. Interesting. Big blanket. Strange excited look on Jeremy's face. Err... Freddie? O___O |
Legend was excited. Not only had he found his lucky Quill, AND gotten an "O" in his DADA assignment but it was also time for Muggle Studies! Legend slipped into the classroom, a grin apparent on his face. " 'Sup Professor Zoo!" It was obviously gonna be a good day. |
Time for Muggle studies...aka the one class in Hogwarts that should be all about muggles. Ok so it wasn't that bad learning about your fellow humans but Simon knew it had to be becoming annoying to some students...especially Slytherins. For him it was interesting and he stepped into the classroom for the next lesson, an apple in his pocket as per the note on the bottom of the announcement. "Hello professor," he greeted as he passed the man at his desk. The look Zookara was giving was curious but as long as it didn't mean danger for him and his fellow students it didn't worry him...too much. He smiled at his friends as he walked further inside, takinga seat of his own. |
Vashti entered the classroom quietly as usual, smiling politely at the professor until she saw the mysterious object on his desk. She paused briefly, trying to see if she could figure out what it was but to no avail. Hm. Well whatever it was, they were surely going to find out about it soon. "Hello, Professor," she greeted him before continuing to a seat next to Trixie. She greeted her friend with a smile as well before digging through her bag for her notebook and quill. |
Emily entered the Muggle Studies classroom for the second time this term and took her sual seat at the front of the classroom. "Hello Professor", she greeted, before taking out her things. She had with her, her parchment, inkwell and quill, and lastly an apple, a shiny green apple. She didn't really like the red ones. Emily noticed a mysterious object laying on the professors desk... what in the name of Merlin could it be? she thought to herself. No doubt it was going to be an interesting lesson. |

Walking in and headding for his seat " Hiya Prof ,I got care package from home so I got gooddies" tossing him a bag M&M's... some times it is nice to have candy that didnt explode or hop away ,or taste like Ear wax |
Selina walked into the classroom. Her hair was positioned in every which way from her recent awakening. Someone had forgotten to wake her up this morning and when Selina was not woken up she did not get up. Still frazzled and grouchy from her lack of breakfast she adjusted her tie. She smiled at Zookara and said, "Morning sir." With a nod she took her seat and tried to fix her hair... it was not working. |
