With a rather relaxed sigh, Professor Hadley watched as they took their turns again with the stones. Hufflepuffs' stone rolling just a bit closer to the Jack Stone than Gryffindors'. Not that the Lions had a bad shot, but the gold one was just a bit quicker to reach the stone ... which gives them the round. One more round and they've got the match.

However, that doesn't mean it's TOO late for the Lions. They still have a chance. Don't they?

Just when it seemed like Hufflepuffs had the match in the bag, Kurumi and Mia both made a mad throw of their stones onto the pit. "Careful ... you'll..." Oh my.

The stones were rolling. And rolling. It seemed like the energy in both of them was too overwhelming and they were going to roll right off the opposite edge. And then ... NO WAIT! They both bounced against the edge of the pit. And then each other, feeding off the vibrant energies ... But which to reach the Jack Stone first?

GRYFFINDOR!!! Professor Hadley stared in shock. "After a close throw that time, Gryffindor wins their first point of the match!" Of course they still needed six and half more to tie it up.

Expectantly watching for another red stone to come rolling by, instead there was a quick gold one which seemed to bounce along the court to the Jack Stone. It reached the center stone before another could be thrown.

One more and Hufflepuff will take the round and the match. However, one for Gryffindor, and the match continues on . . .

And they're off ... Riley Sinclair releases his red stone at a quick pace, despite this being his first roll ... But he's no novice. The red stone quickly gains speed and then as it is about to touch the Jack Stone, it veers off-course just as a gold stone is released onto the court.

Accelerating fast ... it almost looks like it is going to make it, when another stone - gold and released by the epic!seeker Jake Upstead - makes it way onto the court. And it BUMPS the first gold stone which was of course released by his captain, off course.

"Err ... let's try another one." Hadley blinked, not fully convinced by the way this round was going.

OOC note: Yes, Jake's answer was correct, but as another Hufflepuff answered first and didn't completely answer about the first question, I'm calling it a draw =]. Yes, it was clause 73, but i was looking for that sneaky word, "they breached clause 73 of the statute of secrecy"

Just like she'd seen in the quidditch match her first year as Hogwarts Professor ... and then in the last game Hufflepuff played against Slytherin, Jake Upstead was true to his seeker form. That boy, Hadley had to give credit had some talent and speed, as his gold stone was tossed onto the pit and rolled lightly but rapidly toward the center.

And stopped just before the Jack Stone. One more good nudge and Hufflepuffs got the match in the bag. However, one more by those fierce Lions, and the match ... or the round ... might last forever! Dinner at the Gobstones court anyone?

Centaur: They can be dangerous if threatened but usually they are passive creatures who are very inteligent stargazers.that predict the future but don't take sides on any issues.

Demiguise: An invisible ape is still an ape so it can cause trouble if threatened like any other ape. Even more some cause it can turn invisible. Still, they are just apes. The fact that they can disapear is a rare thing and the fact that their fur is used too create invisibility cloaks has a lot to do with it too.
Merpeople: They feircely defend their their territory if someone invades it but if you leave them alone they will not bother you.

Troll: They may be incredibly stupid creatres. But they are still 12ft tall and are quite violent often unintentionally toward anyone who crosses their path. However if you let them just live their lives far away from society they will not cause trouble for anyone.

Snidgett: high rating because of severe penalties for capturing and owning one due too it's rarity from being killed too near extinction from old style quiddich matches.

The stone ... obviously not used to being flicked, spun wildly up in the air and seemed hover for a brief moment before crashing right on top of the Jack Stone. The pressure - no matter how light the stone was - caused gob to spew from the center Jack Stone and into the poor dear's eyes.

"Oh my! Miss Morets! Are you okay?" Professor Hadley stared, wide-eyed as she rushed toward the girl, barely noticing the fact that Jake rolled his own stone onto the court nearly perfectly, winning the round AND the match for the Rabid Badgers. Looking away from the girl for just a moment ...

Hadley blew her whistle. "Match over. Hufflepuff will face Slytherin in the Championship Match, whereas Gryffindors will take on the Eagles of Ravenclaw to compete for third place. Please shake hands with your opponents before leaving. Good match everyone!"

Now back to Chloe. "Miss Morets. Just ... a quick eye-washing should help." Though she'd never received gob to the eye before, so she wasn't certain. Ugh, injuries weren't supposed to happen like THIS in Gobstones!
