"Hello Professor Descoteaux," Kyle slipped into the class and took a seat on one of the haybales.

"Hello cute kitty." She smiled, waving tot he kitty. Aw, it was adorable she wanted to pet it...she resisted at first, putting her bag next to her she looked around. She smiled, watching Ellie explain the fact the kitten had chosen him. Good point, she thought as she listened to the fire cackle...odd sound she thought shrugging her shoulder.

Emily broke her gaze with the fire and noticed that Mia had taken the seat beside her.
"Hi Mia", she greeted the Hufflepuff, before looking down at her notebook at the blank page.

She hoped class would start soon, the curiosity was killing her. Fire? Forest? Kitten??...
What were they going to learn today?

Kyle then stood, up, smiling streched out and took a quick step over to Professor Descoteaux. "Hi Professor, just wanted to say thank you for un-immobulusing me last class and to say thank would you like a bouncy ball? You can give it to the kitten if you like?" She offered holding out a box filled with balls boucing yarn balls, bouncing rubber balls, bouncing bubble-balls, bouncing balls of all sorts, shapes, and sizes.

She was odd. But she wasn't a fangirl she was obsessed with bouncy-balls at sixteen years old. And making a little adorable kitten happy!

"Nope," Helena said, grinning. "It's fun having a cat, especially a kitten." Well, she never had one, because she always had an owl and she didn't want to risk anything. But a cat was just soooo affectionate and... a MUST-have-at-least-one.

Arya's merry skipping slowed as she neared the edge of the forest. Really, she didn't care to be around it at night. But this was charms class, one of her favorites, and she wasn't going to miss it because of her wariness of the forest at night.

Especially when there was a warm fire to be distracted by, not that she needed it with her large gray hoodie. A bit more skipping and she was sitting near the cute kitty that was on one of the hay bales, a grin on her face. "Hey professor!" Her eyes flicked up distractedly at him before returning to the kitty.

Could she HOLD the kitty??

Her eyes went from the kitty to the sleeves of her hoodie that she was currently fussing with. That griffie of hers sure did have long arms.

Realising that she had been rather rude by not greeting the older girl, Mia threw her a smile. "Hi Emily. How are you doing?" She was thinking the same thing the Ravenclaw was but without knowing it.

When was the class going to start? And what would it be about?

"Evening, Treyen."

Must you look so surly, child?

"Yes," Jared said, a little drily. "I can tell."


"It is so far, Violet," Jared said, smiling faintly at how excited the Hufflepuff seemed to be.

It looked she had noticed the kitten too, though that seemed impossible not to notice now, given the small crowd that had gathered round the little thing. "I suppose it is now," he said, a grin crossing his face at her remark.

Mia did not seem to be in the best of moods. Jared gave her an inquiring glance, before returning her greeting.

"Doing fine, Mia?"

Nothing? Jared grinned. "Charms that defy the senses," he said. More than a hint, that, but she did seem curious.

....

Okay. So he had seen stranger students. "It's fine, Kyle. And I'm sure my kitten will appreciate that." He picked up one of the small balls at random, and rolled it in the kitten's direction.

His kitten?

For now. But let's not tell Ellie that.

"I should hope so, if I'm going to be made to keep one," Jared grinned. He still had his doubts, though.

Serious ones.


"Good evening, Arya."

The kitten looked up from the ball of yarn it held between two paws, at the new arrival. Play?

Kyle nodded, she was sure the kitten would like it as well. "Well, your wecome!" She smiled, and pretty-much skipped back to her haybale stuffing the box of bouncyballs back into her bag,

"Pretty good", she smiled, "And yourself?"
Emily noticed students were still arriving, but hopefully the lesson would start soon.

Oh bugger!!

The Professor had noticed. Mia gave her shoulders a half shrug. "I'm..." What was she?

Not happy that was for sure.

And not exactly sad either.

Whatever it was, Mia knew that now was not the time to be talking about it. "Just feeling a little blah." She gave him an appreciative smile though.


Another shrug of her shoulders. "Okay I guess." She had been better that's for sure. Mia again realised that she was being a bit of a downer so she sat up a little straighter and gave Emily a smile.

"Well this looks as though it's going to be interesting." She said referring to the class.

Harper skipped over to where the group of Charm class goers were gathering and - KITTY! A kittttty!

"D'awww!" but then she stopped her cooing. It was watching them...yes? No? Maybe? Odd. Weird. Bad kitty. Maybe. Maybe not. Oh well.

"Hiya, 'Fesser." she beamed, stopping her skipping right in front of him. Deciding it was kinda odd to just...stop right in front of the professor like a teacher's pet, she took a few steps back and surveyed their surroundings. Geeeez, the forbidden forest? She hadn't even realized how close they were. Her beaming subsided as she watched the trees closely and kept her hand near her pocket where her wand was...just in case.

Kitty wanted to PLAY with her! She just knew it by the way he was looking at her. Or she. The girl couldn't tell.

Peeking over at the professor, she stealthy slid off her hay bale and over to the kitty's, shooting a grin to all those surrounding the kitty as well. And then the kitty got grins as Arya gave it a few loving strokes before tugging playfully at the ball of yarn in its cute little paws.

Very distracting kitty. Very distracting.

It took no time at all for Destiny to find the place where class was going to be held all thanks to the big ole' bonfire. And that bonfire made her immediately think of food and how she should have stopped in the Great Hall to smuggle some things. But, it was too late for all that. She was there and if Professor Despereaux, or whatever his name was, already saw her and she couldn't run back.

WELL..she could. Only she didn't want to get into trouble.

Skipping her way closer, she gave a salute in the Professor's direction. "Hi, Professor!" Yeah. She wasn't going to attempt to say his name.

Glancing around, Destiny found an empty spot to sit at next to Arya the Raccoon Girl and made her way over.

Hehehe.

Violet smiled brightly and then said,"Oh that's so wonderful to hear Professor! I hope it continues for you!" When he talked about the kitten Violet smiled and then said,"That's great for you sir! Have you thought of any possible names for it yet?"

Cedric made his way to this particular area where the Charms lesson would be held... and looks like they were camping! Well, sort of. But bonfires still meant camping, or bonfires, at least, were associated with camping. Cedric liked camping. A lot.

With a broad smile plastered upon his face, Cedric roamed his gaze about in quest for a good place to sit. "Nice setting, Professor!" Cedric smiled at the professor's direction.

And great! He thought he'd just found the perfect place to lodge at. He tottered toward his aim, prey, subject, insert-appropriate-word-here. "Hey Destiny! I'm gonna sit beside you so... I hope you don't mind." Pfft. And there, he plopped down on an empty spot beside the Slytherin girl, and he felt like he had just made the best decision in the world. Well, not really.

Emmy's widened as she approached the professor - was he holding a kitten?
"Hello Professor - is that your kitten? He's beautiful..."
She grinned, watching the little bundle of fluff playing with a ball.
Could she stroke him? She wanted to put him in her pocket and take him home!

"Doing great Sir," Patroclus grinned back to the man, giving him two thumbs up! "You?"

The Lion Prefect really like Professor D, he was ......really cool!

Watching as Evelyn arrived, the LionBoy noted the twinkle in her eye, that was not a reflection of the fire, it was a fire within......that girl was wild when it came to fire!

But hilarious to watch!

Helena grinned. It looked like she was the winner!

Winner... unless he decides to leave the kitten alone... in the dark... by the Forbidden Forest...

Naaah, he wouldn't do that.

Still stroking the kitten, Helena looked at professor Descoteaux. "Do you have any ideas for a name?" Naming your pets is a very important step. And once you give them a name, they are part of your family. Hehe. Buuuut she suddenly wondered if the kitten was a 'he' or a 'she'.

"Don't be such a Debbie Downer about it," Ellie scolded. Yeah, SCOLDED. "Embrace it. But no matter what, don't give it to Saylen." Nod. Saylen was mean to animals. Meannn.

Kurumi arrived at the grounds feeling a bit nervous that they were having class so close to the Forbidden Forest. The last time they had been here for class they had almost been devoured by giant spiders - Kurumi still had nightmares about those eight-legged hair things with pincers. "Good evening, Professor De-----" Kurumi ended up letting out a rather loud squeak when she saw the kitten lying on its back and didn't finish properly greeting the Professor.

Glancing over her shoulder for a brief moment, she wondered if Walnut had sneaked out of the common room with her. Hopefully, if he did, he would get along with the kitten.

Chloe walked do walked down the grounds for what was it, her third charms lesson now. Man did time seem to fly. The ends of the year was certainly drawing closer. THe location of this lesson was going her the idea that this lesson was going to be intense. Right close to the forbidden forrest, what wonders lies for this lesson here was on Chloes mind. As she entered the area of the esson she felt more excited then nervous. She saw the professor and said, "Good day professor", and then took a seat add she waited patiently anticipating what what this lesson may bring.

Luin walked up towards where the professor was, a bit out of breath as she had left a bit late from the library. There were just so many interesting things to read in there. She didn't see the kitten until she started to wave hello, "Hi Professo.....r" she looked down at the kitten, "Awww....." she smiled and then resisted the urge to start petting and playing with the kitten and sat down on one of the hay bales.

This cute little kitty was SO distracting, unfortunately he wasn't distracting enough that she didn't notice Chicken Girl sitting beside her and her new playmate. She paused in her playing with the little kitty to glare at Destiny for daring to sit so close to her, briefly considering getting up and moving to another hay bale. But she didn't move. She went back to playing with the creature. Kitty was on this one so she would sit beside Destiny even if it killed her.

And it probably would.

Cass ran to the grounds as fast as she could. She had spent a lot of time in the common room, thinking if this was for real. If they were really holding class so near the forbidden forest. Last time she checked, this was charms, not DADA.

When she finally reached the spot. She took a moment to catch her breath then smiled at the professor "Good day professor." Then her eyes riveted to the cute little kitty lying beside him and she smiled. She wanted to touch the kitty so badly...CUTE!!

Another class on the grounds at night though at least it was finally getting warmer so one didn't need to be completely bundled up like an eskimo to get to the appropriate location. Dressed with just his robes over his uniform, Simon made it down to the edge of the Forbidden Forest like instructed already seeing a good deal of the students already there. "Good evening Professor," he greeted as he quickly took a seat so the man could begin class whenever he was ready.
