Chris Potter walked up the staircase and into the slightly smelly Owlery. He was havign a bit of trouble locating his owl Lyra amongst all of the other owls perched high in the rafters. His feet stepped on something that made an unpleasent crunching sound that made him wonder whether or not the House-elves made it up here often.
Shrugging away that thought he turned to look towards two Slythering girls who were arguing back and forth. "Hello ladies, maybe you could calm the arguing down a bit, you may startle the other students' owls." he said politely with a small smile.

Yes, Tori was eavesdropping outside of the owlery. Hearing all the fighting between Bradin and Violet and Violet flirting. Time to interrupt. "Hey Violet, you know how you said you didn't flirt with every boy in the school, well your doing it know," she said and turned to Bradin. "Do you have something against blondes? Not all blondes are dumb! But Violet is," then she turned to Chris. "You don't know me. I'm Tori. And do you have to brag that your head boy?"
So what if Tori was eavesdropping? She came up here to see her owl and she heard fighting and she didn't want to just go in and yell at them all until things got interesting.

Rafe hadn't felt very well since the little episode he had by the lake with Marilyn, Carter and Marie. He kind of kept a low profile after that. He didn't want anyone to discover what he was. He was writing his father more often to find out ways to ease the "spells" he was going through. His spectacled owl, Artemis, came swooping down and landed on his arm. "How's it going girl?" he asked as he stroked her wing and she hooted with glee.

She hadn't really spoken to him since that fateful potions lesson back in first year. Giving Diane a pet, she smiled and stepped forward slightly into the light and out of the shadows. "I'm usually not used to people being up here," she explained. I'm thinking it's a case of great minds thinking a like," she grinned. It was true though, great minds did think a like.
