Dylan still held onto his ear. "His beak came in contact with my ear. That I define as a bite." He sighed with relief as the bird vacated his shoulder. This visit was one of the worst ideas in history.

"Well I don't intend to be mean to you if you have him as a defender." Nope never!

"Oh stop being so dramatic, Dylan!" Lexi said with a roll of her eyes. "We can go if you are frightened, you know... but there is no need to be afraid of Wasabi," she said as she fed the owl a few more treats and he flew off to roost with the other birds.

Laughing heartily she turned to leave the owlery and looked back over her shoulder and said, "Hey where we going now?"

Bradin walked up to the owlry and stood at the balcony. He looked out for Snowy flying in. Sure enough, the snowy white owl came flying in with her feather's blowing in the wind. "Hey Snowy. You hungry?" he whispered to the speckled owl. He took out some food and held out his hand for Snowy to eat the food from the palm of his hand. When she was done she sat beside Bradin without moving and allowed him to stroke her soft white feathers.

Violet walked up to the owlry and strutted over to the balcony and saw Bradin. "Hi." she said, she was going to be nice this time but she didn't know if she would always be like that. She saw her owl Daphne fly in Violet payed no attention to her.

Bradin looked at Violet as she approached the balcony. He hoped she wasn't searching for another argument. "Hey" he replied still stroking Snowy's feathers. She was one magnificant owl. So beautiful in every way. Even the way she flew with the wind.

Dylan scoffed, "I am an actor. I am meant to be dramatic." He shook his head at her, and her judging him. "Fine let us leave before I get pecked to death."

"How about heading out to the courtyard and sitting down on a bench, and just chillaxing?" he said, thinking of somewhere to go.

"Yeah whatever, so anyway do you know Cartwright?" she asked him. "Because I need you to get him to date me." she said casually.

"By Cartwright I presume you mean Evan Cartwright. No I'm not doing your dirty work. If you want him to date you get him to do it yourself" replied Bradin kind of harshly. Why would he want to hook a guy up with cruelty when the boy had done nothing wrong to Bradin.

"Oh wow... you are dramatic... how lovely," she said loftily as she started her descent down the stairs out of the owlery.

Lexi wasn't sure that she knew how to relax anymore but she could surely try... "Okay then. That sounds good," she called out over her shoulder.

"It's not dirty work, I've been trying to get him to like me forever. Can you at least ask Jake Upstead to like me?" she said.

Dylan chuckled, "Of course. You should see my rooms. You could tell from that." He followed behind her like a little sheep. A much taller, and older, little sheep.

"Awesome. I have a comic if you want to read that. Might help you to relax. I got an original Iron Man, signed by Stan Lee when I did my internship. It was a thank you present."

Scoffing, Evelyn quickly took a peak at Poof who had finally gotten up onto the fourth stand place, and batting at a particularly light brown colored owl, who looked extremely irritated, the Slytherin turned back to Destiny and shrugged. "She probably just...fell in something." she mumbled, not wanting to believe that her little kitten had been hanging with Sly. Sly better not be teaching her bad behaviors! She was a good kitty!

"I know what a sheep is Destiny." she muttered, crossing her arms and continuing to stare at her kitten bat at the owl. She was so cute, irritating the owl. Trying to block out the fact that Destiny just said that the sheep actually come into her house, the Slytherin took a few steps towards the light brown owl, intending to take Poof away from it since she didn't want to owl to snap at her...

But speaking of owls, she finally noticed the one sitting next to it, looking quite familiar. "No-Name?" she said in surprised, narrowing her eyes at the owl. "Why are you...here..." Well, there was the reason. He had a letter. How long had he been here? With a little 'Hoo', the much now larger black owl held out his leg with the attached letter to it. Hesitantly, she took the letter and not a second later, the owl took off and flew out the window, almost knocking into her head. Jeez. Did anyone in her family like her?

Looking down at the letter however, Evelyn made a quick glance at Destiny, and the others that entered the room, before walking to the other side of the owlery to read the letter.


Lowering the letter, Evelyn stared out the window for a moment as she folded it back up, more or less...a blank expression on her face. That is, until she had to put on a small smile and turn back around to Destiny, her eyes not as light of a hazel as they were before. "So, what now?"

Could spending the summer with Destiny not come at an any better time?

"Yeah." Destiny said laughing at the dirty little cat, "Probably fell into a pile of dirt!" What else could cause a cat to get so dirty? Eyeing the cat up, she laughed again as she was batting at an owl. If owls could glare, little Poof would be getting a hole glared right through her and her dirty fur right now.

"Do you not like sheep then?" she asked, turning her attention back on Evelyn. "They don't bite or anything..except one, but he only bites when you pull.." Her words were cut off as Evelyn mentioned No-Name. Wasn't that her brother's owl now, and what was he doing here? Watching as her friend walked over to the owl, and seeing the letter tied to his leg answered the why he was here question. Only a delivery. He didn't fly away like Travis did..until now, since the owl was quickly out the window .

She didn't follow Evelyn as she went over to read the letter. She figured it was from her parents, and if it was anything like the last letter, Destiny was afraid of the fire that would be coming soon. She walked over to Poof, picking her up so she would leave the owls alone. Owl poo..would definitely be hard to clean out of fur. Glancing towards Evelyn, she saw the letter was folded, and she did not miss the expression or her face. The smile that came afterwards was definitely one of fake, which made Destiny frown. She slowly walked over to her friend, and handed the cat over, "Is everything alright?"

And if it wasn't, they would have to find a way to fix it, that's all.

"Why wouldn't everything be alright?" she asked, tucking away the letter in her back pocket, before taking Poof. No matter how dirty the little kitty was, she was too cute. And Evelyn wanted to cuddle her juuuuust for a moment!

Glancing towards Destiny, Evelyn knew that she had not hid things very well. Especially this year. Everything was just...off. Not right. Not...normal. "Do you want to go do something?" she asked, looking towards the door as if saying 'Please, can we go now?'. Anything. She would do ANYTHING at the moment.

Holding Poof closer, the Slytherin took a hesitant step towards the door, seeing if Destiny would follow, and perhaps suggest something to do. Bug a Professor, poke Mr. Stutters, climb a tree, arts and crafts, egg Lawson... or...egg Lawson...

That sounded pretty fun actually.

Destiny could answer that question a few different ways, but opted for a shrug. It wasn't like Evelyn would lie and say nothing was wrong when something really was, right? They were friends, best friends, and they didn't need to keep secrets. She eyed the parchment once more before Evelyn shoved it in her pockets.

Why, another question that Destiny could answer a few different ways! "Yeah! As long as it doesn't involve any types of studying." That meant no reading, writing, or Arithmancy. Marie had her study enough to last her the rest of her school years. Crazy girl.. She glanced at the doorway when Evelyn did, expecting to see someone there. It must just mean she wanted to leave..like now.

Taking a few steps closer she realized there was something else she didn't want to do. "I don't want to bathe her, either." she pointed to dirty Poof. Giving a cat a bath was a horrible experience, and Destiny still had a few scars to prove it. "What do you have in mind?"

Because Destiny had no ideas.

Ugh. Studying. She had done too much this year and they still had half the school year left. Looking down at Poof for a moment, seeing her eyes pleading Evelyn to let her down, the Slytherin chuckled and put on her the ground before watching her dart off towards the owls again. Eh, well she was asking for it if she got pecked at...

"She's fine in water." she mumbled, crossing her arms and not caring if there was any dirt or anything on her shirt left from Poof. "Just only with baths though. Otherwise she'll freak out." And that was never fun.

Sighing, having to decide what they should do, the Slytherin took a few more steps towards the door. "I don't know. We'll figure something out on the way out." Because the stench was blocking her thought process!!

Poof was definitely a Gryffindor cat with the way she ran over to the owls. If that was Sly, he would have ran out of the owlery, especially if the owls made any noise. Heh, with the noise going on now, the cat wouldn't even enter. Scaredy cat.

"Oh." Poof and Sly were both different. Poof liked water, even just a little, and Sly wouldn't even drink the stuff. Destiny couldn't blame him though, since she didn't like to drink it either. "Well there goes that idea of throwing her in the lake!" she joked, glancing back over at Poof.

Turning back to Evelyn, Destiny smirked. They didn't need to leave the owlery to think of an idea, she already had one! "I know what to do." Waving goodbye to Poof, since the cat had found her way up here, she can surely find her way down, Destiny grabbed Evelyn by the hand again, pulling her out of the owlery. "We need to go to the dorms first!"

They were going to need pillows!

WHAT?!

"I am not throwing my cat in the lake! Do you know what even lives in there?!" Creepy things! That's what! Frowning, Evelyn stared at Destiny for a moment, just to make it clear that not now or ever was her cat going into the lake. Or she was going to find Sly shaved.

Letting out a frustrated breathe, she took a quick glance at Poof before being surprised at being suddenly dragged out the door. GAH! Now she knew what Marie felt like the whole time they were tied together.

EEP! TRIPPING!

And what did they need in the dorms?!

Bradin rolled his eyes. If the boy didn't like her, he didn't like her. "Isn't that the fifth year Hufflepuff who stutters" he replied. Why would he wanna hook the poor boy up with someone who made fun of him because of his stutter?

"Yeah, isn't he cute?" she replied. She totally thought he was.

Bradin took out somemore foor for Snowy to eat. He cocked an eyebrow and began turning his purity ring on his middle finger. "Seriously? You're asking a guy that question? NO I DON'T. One, I've never met the guy. Two, I don't bend that way. And three, why would I think he's cute anyway" he replied.

"Well whatever, I think he's cute, no matter what you say." she replied stubbornly. "Plus, Jake is like the most awesome person ever."

Serching for a barn owl to send to Jasper

Walking into the Owlery, Cody began to look in the rafters for a good school owl to send home to his mum, when he spotted a familiar head of blonde hair. "LISS!" Yay! It was his overly amazing little sister!

Well, how could she not be amazing? She did, afterall, share his blood.

Bradin rolled his eyes. "Remind me again why I need to know about him. I'm not gonna try and hook you up with a guy that I've never even met before" he replied stubbornly.
