There goes Fletcher with his stubborn name thing; And he also criticized her name. Not smart seeing as though he would be a hypocrite.

Rae leaned back against the counter.... This Jack girl had just asked her if Rae was short for something.... Her first thought was to be rude and defensive..... Then she settled on the somewhat truth in a nicer way... "No, not short for anything." She sad plainly as Jack started.... Storming around! Jack was yelling at Fletcher for that name comment he made! HAHAHHA oh this was something great to just relax and witness. What was all this business with names anyways?

Willow entered the kitchens dragging Janet behind her. "Come on Janet!" Willow exclaimed, impatiently. "We've only got about an hour before class, and I'm starved! I mean it. A hippogriff might not even be enough to fill me!" Willow grinned at her glaring friend and patted her flat stomach.

Looking around the huge kitchen, Willow was surprised to witness how busy it actually was. There were elves scampering around busily and even a few rogue students seemed to be having a pretty good time of it. Stepping in front of a lone elf, Willow inquired, "Excuse me Miss/Sir (take your pick) would you be kind enough to slap together a picnic basket for my friend and I? We're starved, but we'd like to eat out in the grounds... Anything'd be fine. Right Janet?" Willow asked, as she pulled her friend forward.

Janet reluctantly came to stand beside Willow. She had a massive amount of respect for the small creatures, but was very ashamed of not knowing how to address them respectfully. This one waiting on them had the Hogwarts skirt uniform on, so she assumed it was a female. Was it an older one, a young one, married or single. "Do they get married and have little little elves?" she wondered. At any rate, she was just at a loss for words, then felt her face redden as she realized she was staring. "Oh, umm, er," she glared at Willow, who was enjoying this way to much, with eyes big and grimmacing as if saying, "Willow, say something to save them from me!" Seeing that she wasn't going to get any help from her mischievous friend, she looked back at the House Elve who was blinking her huge eyes in cutiosity. "OK, um, er"

Willow looked at Janet and laughed. "Hey, Janet..." Willow smirked at her friend, "you said that already!"

Janet smiled at Willow. She couldn't be upset with her. "I will have to think of something to get even with Willow for having so much fun at my expence." she thought. "I'm sorry," she turned her attentions back on the little form looking most bewildered, and smiled at her. "Yes, we are quite hungry, and thirsty also. Plus I think we should get something for Ambrocinius if he decides to show up. Anything that is easy for you to get quickly would be wonderful. Thank you, umm Ma'am? Oh, and could I have this piece of ice please?" And without waiting for an answer, she put her hand in the glass and pulled out a chunk of ice. Before Willow could comprehend what was happening, Janet pulled Willow's t-shirt out at the back of the neck, and slipped the ice down her back.

Jimbo grinned, almost choking on his cookie as he laughed. Would he have to deal with this question every time he met someone new? It was quite funny though. He liked that his name was so...out there that people had to ask about it. Monty did a good job with that. He'd have to thank her later.

"Erm, no. My name is actually Benjamin James, but a friend of mine thought it'd be better if she referred to me as 'Jimbo'." He let himself chuckle a bit more then said, "Obviously, it stuck." So much so that he introduced himself as Jimbo and called himself Jimbo in his head, wrote it on assignments...

As a matter of fact, Benjamin James Farley was starting to sound a little weird for him. If it wasn't for the fact that his parents still called him Benjamin, he'd probably forget his actual name.

Wait a second. He just remembered something. Or, realized it, rather.
Where was Pebbles? Jimbo could have sworn he'd been in his pocket.

Stuffing the remaining pieces of cookie in his mouth, Jimbo fumbled around in his pockets and produced nothing but a few pieces of candy. "Damn!"
Where could he be? He was in his pocket...wasn't he? Urgh. This was BAD. He still hadn't finished training Pebbles and he didn't reply whenever Jimbo called him. Hopefully Pebbles would show up or something. He had to.

Or maybe he was somewhere in the kitchen. Maybe, somehow, he had crawled out of his pocket in search of food. Possibly. Hopefully. He had to look.

So.... Thirsty....

Nicolette walked into the kitchen, looking for a house elf who could maybe help her.

"Ummmm... hello? Can someone help me?"

So... Rae wasn't short for anything, and Jack was still and violent, angry and indigninant as the first time he'd met her. Lovely.

Smirking to himself as he wondered if the Ravenclaw was aware of how cute she was when she got her panties in a bunch, Fletcher had himself another swig of butterbeer and carefully eyed her from head to toe, raising a brow as he finished.

"Well, darlingggg," he drawled in a clearly amused tone, "you don't look particularly masculine. But I bet you would look fantastic in a pink ballerina tatoo, if you don't mind my saying."

He blatantly winked at her and then moved around to sit up on the counter beside his hot, steamy cheese pizza. Mmmmm, the thing was just dripping with grease and yummy goodness as the boy started devouring a slice. Delicious!

Rae didn't know what was going on... She stared at Fletcher as he was... What was he doing? Making fun or flirting? Rae was still sitting on the countertop with her legs dangling off the edge. She took another sip of her butterbeer.... If he was flirting with her... Then Rae shouldn't be here right? Still not knowing what to do or say, she just sat silent until she could make sense of the situation...

Rae looked over and saw a first year practically pleading to the air for a drink, Rae didn't understand why she couldn't get it herself, she wasn't five after all. Still she called her over "Oi! You!" Then she slid one of her extra butterbeers down to the opposite edge of the counter. "There.. Next time just ask an elf, your bound to get better service than asking no one." She had a lot to learn. She needed to learn to be independant and get her own stuff... That's what Rae had to do before she was even that girls age.

Nicolette looked up upon hearing some shouting, surprised to see a girl talking to her and sliding her over something to drink.

"Elves?", she asked. "Never heard of 'em. Thanks a bunch! I'm Nicolette, first year Gryffindor!", she continued, smiling.

Willow was astonished. Never, in her wildest dreams, had she thought that Janet could be so vindictive. Merlin's Beard... didn't she realize how cold that ice was doing to be on her warm back. Willow smiled... slowly... serenely... There was no way that she was going to allow Janet to get away with such a deed.

Prentending to be uneffected, Willow simply smiled at her best friend and said, "Gee, Janet... you could've at least put that ice in a glass with some sweet tea!" Willow squirmed around a little until the ice cube slipped, almost totally melted, down her back and to the floor.

Willow could tell that Janet was disappointed with her rather calm reaction, but refused to say anymore. Willow knew that to retaliate at this time would only get the two of them into a detention. As Janet continued to talk with the small elf, Willow secretly procured a cream pie from the counter and slipped it into her bag. Willow sure hoped that Janet liked chocolate...

Hadn't she heard that name before? "Oh yeahhhh! you're that one girl that made cookies with me and Evelyn right?" She would feel really stupid if she was wrong.... "What are you talking about? Never hearing of elves... They're right in front of you." This girl can see right? and since Rae was almost positive this was the first year that helped Evelyn's 'special' cookies then she saw Rae boss around some elves then.

Travis walked down to the kitchen in his pajamas, he walked in and smiled at the kitchen elves. He sat on the counter and whistled to himself waiting for Scarlett to appear for their late night snack.

Scarlett smiled as she stuffed her pajama pants into her fuzzy boots. She slid her wand inside as well and straightened her shirt. She threw his jacket on and pulled her hair into a cute messy bun. She put a bit of make up on to cover the fact she had been crying all day.

She grinned even more as she walked into the kitchen and saw her now beau on the counter. "Hey cutie." she said sliding her hands into his and looking up at him from the ground. Now they had a height difference of a few feet. She giggled cutely and waited for him to say something. She was so glad they were back together.

Maddie smiled at the elves and sat down in front of the fire. She'd let those other people get their food first, she thought.

Travis looked down and saw Scarlett the smile on his face grew even bigger, he hopped off the counter and stood next to her. "Hello yourself," he said as he stared down at her, he was so glad that they were back together, he had missed her a whole lot.

Violet strutted in the kitchens, and spotted Maddie. "Um hi Maddie what are you doing here?" she asked, she didn't think most people hung out in the kitchens.

Ugh. Violet... great
'Coming to get food' Maddie said shortly

"Same, my mum said it's not healthy for a 13 year old to be 58 pounds. So I'm going to try cake." she replied, walking towards a big chocolate cake.

Maddie tried not to laugh
'It's definitely not healthy' she said 'You should, you know, eat something' she wondered why Violet was being so... nice. she was usually evil, right?

"Yeah, so I heard you're the unlucky girl dating Justin. Honestly, I feel bad for you." she said cutting a slice of cake.

Oh. There it was
'You know, there's no need to be so mean all the time, Violet' Maddie said. 'And I don't appreciate you being rude about my boyfriend'

"I'm not mean anymore, I recently turned good." she said smiling brightly. "I have every right, to be rude about your boyfriend I used to be his girlfriend, but then he cheated on me."

Maddie gave a half laugh at that
'Oh, that's rich' she said 'He wouldn't have cheated on you if you were, you know, a nice person' she said

"Just be quiet." she mumbled, rolling her eyes. "And I AM a nice person."
