He smirked as he reached out and got the tub of chocolate ice cream from where he had left it. It was still cold. He loved how magic could do things like keep ice cream cold. Though he was still a true Muggle at heart.

"So, how have you been? he asked casually as he waited for her to get the ice cream for them both. He loved that his bowl was orange. His favourite colour. w00t!

Fallon took the thing of ice cream from Torin. She looked around for the scoop which was laying nearby. She decided that she was going to scoop it out the Muggle way. She dug the scoop in and grabbing a large amount of ice cream, which she plopped down into Torin's bowl.

"I've been good. I've actually had a chance to draw a lot lately. I even drew a picture of the castle." Fallon was really proud of that drawing. She scooped one more large scoop into Torin's bowl.

She then set the scoop down and handed Torin his bowl. "Here ya go." She then went to filling her bowl. Yummy yummy ice cream. "How've you been?"

He watched as she gave him more ice cream. "I love this stuff. Sugar free is not the same." It was gross and he hated it. It was a disgrace to ice cream and whoever invented it was an idiot.

"You draw? Can I see some of your stuff?" He was curious because he liked seeing people's drawings. He wished that he had that talent. But he was better at cooking and baking. "I remember someone drew me a few Terms ago." That had been an interesting experience for sure.

"I've been good. Busy studying for NEWTs. Deciding what I want to do after Graduation." He nodded as he started to eat.

Fallon wasn't even going to ask why he had eaten sugar-free ice cream in the first place. She finished scooping two large scoops of chocolate ice cream into her bowl. Once she was done, she closed the lid and went back to set by Torin.

Fallon took a bite and mumbled an 'Mhm' to Torin's first question. Once the ice cream had melted in her mouth, she decided to answer Torin before taking another bite. "Of course. Next time we hang out, I'll bring my sketch book. Plus if you like anything, I'm really good at duplicating images so I could get you a copy." She loved giving her friends artwork. She did have one drawing she still needed to give her friends.

Fallon took another big bite of ice cream as Torin explained what he'd been up too. Until he said it, she had completely forgotten that he was going to be graduating. "That sounds...not fun." That was the only way she could think to describe it.

He was relieved that she wasn't going to ask him why he had been eating sugar free ice cream. Because if she had, he might have his bowl taken away, and that would have made him sad all over again.

"That sounds amazing." He would love to have her duplicate her stuff for him so that he could have a copy. She was just amazing because it was a nice thing to do and it made him happy. He liked being happy, it was fun. "And I shall bake you something sometime. Because I'm good at that." And he would start to brag about it if she would let him.

"Studying sucks." And that was that. "It makes me fall asleep." And that was annoying all the while.

Fallon took another bite of ice cream. It was so good and it definately hit the spot.

She smiled at Torin, making sure not to open her mouth, which was still filled with chocolate. Ooo baking! She made sure her ice cream was gone before she talked. "You bake? That's so awesome! I wish I could do that." It would solve a lot of problems when she got hungry.

Fallon nodded in agreeance. "Definately. I still have homework I'm avoiding because I'm not really good at the classes." Herbology for instance.

Yet another person who didn't know that he could bake. It was sorta amusing in a way really. But then he didn't know Fallon as well as he did other people, so she didn't really get to try his stuff. And that was a shame, because he was utterly amazing. "If you want, I can teach you some things," he offered to her. "When I have time of course." Dreaded NEWTs and all that.

But yes, work could be evil sometimes. But he liked school, so it was okay really. "I avoid Potions." Thank goodness he didn't need to take it this Term. "And Herbology just isn't the same without Bunbury." Oh, how he missed her. She was the bast teacher he had ever had. And not just because of the huge crush he used to have on her.

as she enter the kitchen, Kay looked around. Sighing she was happy that no one was there. She quitely walked over to the little table and sat down. Putting her head in her hands she thought about the way things have been going. *why was it so hard to be here this year?* she thought shaking her head. Stairing at the little house evles working. Kay thought maybe if she did something she would feel better. getting up she walked over to here the elves were working and watched.

Fallon took another bite of ice cream and smiled at Torin. "That would be great. Especially since I'm almost always craving something sweet." She laughed. "Yeah, testing and studies have to come first." She took another bite knowing that was completely true.

Fallon nodded in agreeance with Torin. "Same. My potions always turn wrong on me." She made a disgusted face at the mention of Herbology, the only class she disliked more than Potions. She wasn't going to say anything about it though. It just wasn't worth it.

His stomach was growling and pushing him toward the kitchens and he frankly didn't mind it. He was still trying to get back on a proper eating pattern, but it was hard kicking his sugar addiction.

Diggy tickled the pear and the portrait swung open. He stepped through and smiled at the smells and sights. he sat down in one of the tiny chairs near the roaring fire. He was glad that the kitchens had house elf sized furniture.

He snagged a plate of chips and some roasted chicken. He didn't know why he wasn't eating in the Great Hall. Well he didn't want to run into Oliver or Selena. He wasn't ready to talk to either of them just yet. He dipped a chip in some mayo and popped it into his mouth.

Stepping into the kitchens, he looks around amazed. In the three years he'd been there, he'd never even been there, but he heard some of the team at practice that evening talking about how to enter into the kitchens.

He just had to try, and see if he could get in! Not to mention his stomach growling from missing supper during practice.

Seeing some small chairs by the fire, he grins, just his size! Walking over, he takes a seat. Wondering what he might want to eat, he looks around spotting another boy a few chairs away.

Diggy was biting in the chicken sandwich he has asked one of the houseelves to make for him as another boy sat down in one of the other chairs by the fire. He swallowed his bit. "Hey," he said. He wasn't sure why he had spoken to the boy but he was feeling really lonely and the only people he knew were Will, Selena and Oliver and he wasn't talking to Selena and Oliver.

Realizing he was staring, he blushes and smiles at him. "Sorry, I didn't mean to stare. The sandwich looks really good..." he adds. Looking up he asks one of the house elves if he could get one as well.

His hair still standing on end from the charms class, and then going directly to quidditch practice, he threads his fingers through his hair making it stand even more on end.

Remembering Cela and her wanting to fix his and Miles hair he smiles, leaving his hair the way it was. "I'm JD, by the way." he adds looking over at the boy.

he laughed and then took another bite of his sandwich. It was really good. The house elves at Hogwarts were almost better cooks than his dad. Though he would never tell his dad that. "Yeah its tastes good too," he told him as he watched the book order his own sandwich.

He nodded as the boy introduced himself, "I'm Diggy nice to meet you JD." he washed down his bit with a swig of his orange juice. He hated pumpkin juice. "What does JD stand for by the way?" he asked.

His mouth watering as he waits for his sandwich, he eyes the boys sandwich. "JD? Ummm, it's just a nickname, really not standing for anything particular." There was absolutely no way he was telling anyone that. The only ones who knew was his parents, Anya and himself. Nobody, nope no one could get that one out of him.

"Thank you" he murmurs, as the house elf gave him his sandwich. Taking a large bite out of it, he sighs, mmmm. Smiling as another house elf brings him some tea, he takes another bite.

Swallowing he looks up at the boy again, "I don't know if I've seen you around..." Shrugging he adds "I might have though. I'm a third year, even though I look younger." looking down at himself, his feet perfectly aligned with the chair and the floor. He certainly looked the size of a first year.

He didn't believe for once second his name was just JD, but he wasn't going to pry. "Well my real name is Dillon but everyone just calls me Diggy." Only his father called him Dillon. Or his mother when he was in trouble, well no everyone called him Dillon when he was in trouble.

Diggy shrugged. "Yeah I don't have many friends," he admitted and saying it out loud didn't make him feel any better. "Well I'm a fifth year even though I look like a third year." His feet were touching the floor but he was sitting in a house elf sized chair. "But I think I've seen you on the pitch or something. Don't you play for Ravenclaw?" he hoped he had seen the boy in blue quidditch robes.

"It's a nice nickname" he says with a smile. Glad the older boy wasn't asking more about his name, he sighs with relief. He respected those who respected his secret.

His eyes looking at him curiously, he nods, thinking to himself, he realizes he's kind of the same way. Though all his friends tended to be girls. Other then Simon that is, and Miles...though he didn't know him very well.

His eyes widening, he realized how he found the boy familiar. "Yes, I do! And...you play for Slytherin!" Thinking back to the previous term, he remembered seeing him on the pitch during the last match, that Ravenclaw had lost once again.

Well Oliver hadn't been able to find Cameron following the incident in dance class and with pout in place, he wandered into the kitchens in need of something sugar filled to cheer him up.

Like Gandalf, he followed nose... to a tray of cookies at the other side of the room. The pout subsided a little when he laid his eyes on the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.. nommy. He grabbed a couple -and it was then that he spotted Kay.. looking all sad as she watched the house-elves. “Hey Kay.” He greeted the wee Hufflepuff and took a seat at a table near where she was standing. He gestured for her to sit. “Everything alright?”

Turning to the person who had called out to her, she saw Oliver standing there. He had cookies in his hands and walked over to sit down at the little table. "Umm Hi." She said turning away from him. How was she going to look at her friend? She run off the last time they had talked.

*Everything alright?* He had asked. Was it? No definitely not ok. But could she tell him that. Turning around to look at him she wiped her face off to make sure he couldn't tell that she had been crying. "Sure. Fine. Everything is great. You?" She said taking the sit next to him. "I was...I was just looking for..." What was she looking for. Looking at the cookie in his hand that was the answer. "Cookies. Yes cookies I was hungry." She said looking at the floor. *Wow that was bad.* she tought.

Jack walked into the Kitchens. He asked the House Elves for a mug of hot chocolate and he sat down.

He finished off his chicken sandwich and he washed it down with the last of his chocolate milk. A house elf came and topped him off. "Thanks," he called out. "Yeah I like it. My twin brother's nickname is JoJo." he told him. They were the only two kids with nicknames now that he thought about it. "So where you from?" he asked nipping a cookie off a passing tray.

Oh good, he was right. That was a relief. "Yeah I'm a chaser for Slytherin. We're playing Saturday actually." he told him. He was thinking they were playing Ravenclaw but he didn't want to bring that up in case they got into a house fight and he frankly didn't have the energy for another row like the one he had with Oliver.

He really liked this girl because she had an appreciation of baked goods. And that was something that he really loved, so anyone that got it was amazing in his books. "Me too. Why I hate having sugar free things. It's terrible. I wouldn't want to wish it on my worst enemy." Well, maybe he would on Lucille... "Yes. But after this Term and colleges, I'm free from studying." And that made him really happy.

He snorted as he saw that she didn't seem to like Herbology. "Not a fan, huh? That always was my favourite class. For a few reasons." One being a pretty redhead that he missed.

Oliver raised an eyebrow not sure why Kay's greeting was so hesitant. And then she turned away from him and the boy frowned. Riiiiight. Clearly everything wasn't ok, but Kay was denying it and the sixteen year old didn't like to push it if she didn't want to talk to him.

Oblivious to her tears, he had to force himself not to pull a face when she asked how he was. Pretty crappy after dance class to be honest. “Yeah.. I'm good.” He lied like a pro and smiled at her and held up one of the cookies. “Want one?” Grin. Sugar: the perfect antidote for the blues.

But it was kinda difficult to chat to someone who wouldn't look at you and Oliver sat forward a little and eyed the Hufflepuff. Had she been crying? Oh noes. “Remember what I said about being a good listener.” He said nonchalantly so she could take or leave his offer. “If you want to chat about stuff, you know?"

Listening to Oliver say he was good, well, didn't sound like he was. Kay turned to look at him and smiled at the cookie. "Thanks. I think I need one of these." She said taking the cookie and sitting down by him. She wasn't much of a food person but Cookie. They were good for everything right?

She sighed and wonder how she could tell him about Rex, again. She looked at Oliver and smiled. She was glad that she had someone to talk to. "Well, I...I don't really know where to start. I umm I had a fight with Rex." She said very softly at the end. She didn't even know if he heard her.

God maybe if she eat five cookies, no ten cookie she will feel better or sick maybe. She took a bit out of her cookie and closed her eyes and thought about how to say what she had to say.

Fallon took another bite of ice cream and noticed that it was almost gone. There Torin went bringing up sugar free food. "If you don't mind me asking, why would you even attempt to eat sugar free food?" If they had the same thing with sugar, why would you eat the stuff without? She nodded as she took another bite. "Yeah at least that's not to far away."

Fallon giggled at Torin's snorting. It was really funny. "Not at all. I just never saw the point of the class." She wondered what his reasons were, but she really didn't want to talk about Herbology.
