"Well said, Headmaster!" he applauded rather loudly before taking his customary seat. Ahh! My, the ladies look nice this evening. I'd better say something or be on the receiving end of a hex. "Hecate . . . Lexi . . . ladies, you look stunning tonight."

Merlin, no one ever told Lexi it would be this difficult to call a former professor by his given name. A part of her still wanted to say Professor Vindictus, rather than... "Max." Realizing she may have sounded a bit awkward, she cleared her throat and gave her now-colleague a friendly smile. "Thank you, Max. You look nice, as well," she said, her words coming out much more smoothly this go round. Quote:
