Evan nodded, deep in thought. It was a good idea to suggest going to Hogsmeade. Then, he would see if Marie was correct or not. She was probably correct, but just making sure. He would ask her, once he saw her. Or maybe he should send a note, they had a game to play, after all...

He frowned when he heard a male noise. It was very familiar, but he couldn't name it. He didn't know anyone called Marco, nor anyone who would look for him. Looking at Marie with a confused look, he nodded. "Yeah... who is he?" Maybe Jimbo, the funny guy?

Marie was totally distracted with the voice that was calling out for Marco. She knew it was Carter but she still didn't know who Marco was. Maybe she should go out and ask him herself. "Um, that's Carter out there, but I don't know who Marco is." She wanted really bad to go out and see him but she didn't want Evan to be mad at her again. Maybe he wouldn't be mad at her though... after all they had just been talking about him liking another girl so maybe he was finally moving on with his life and he was ready to accept that she had another boyfriend. "I um, I'm going to go out and talk to him," she finally said as she stood up t leave. "I'm really glad I was able to help you with your homework." Which seemed like something they did ages ago. "Think about what I said about Ella. You really should ask her to go to Hogsmeade with you. I think you will be surprised at how things will turn out."

She started to walk away then turned back. "I'm glad we're friends again, I now have a reason to wear this again," she said showing him the necklace he gave her. She then tucked it back inside her shirt. "I'll see you later," she said as she turned to leqave once again.

Now to find Carter and whoever this Marco person was.

'Um, that is Carter out there...' Sure. Who else would come down the snake area, and be that reckless to shout a stupid name that didn't exist? Evan felt the anger again. His face probably showed it too, although he tried his best not to show any sign of it. Feeling all the excitement being drawn away, he stared towards the corridor in complete unhappiness. The end of his good ol' time with Marie, and time to get back to reality of the namby pamby dork. He nodded quickly, totally getting her desire to spend time with Carter. He was quite astonished, in fact, that they could stay apart that long.

He nodded again, now he would definately ask Ella to go to Hogsmeade. He had a feeling Marie could be correct, but then again, girls read signs wrongly too, i.e. Violet. Ready to walk away on his own way of common room, he halted when she talked once more. He smiled faintly, but then froze. Was that his necklace? Yes, it was! Did she really keep that too? He blinked, not knowing what to say. "See you..." he managed to mutter, still under the effect of the necklace. She was going to wear it. Near Carter. That was something to be happy and smile at; and so he did, leaving Marie with Carter, feeling quite happy and hopeful for the first time.

Now, what to do on this beautiful day?

Walking out of the Detention hall Legend was glad that it was finally over. The Gryffindor clung to his arm as the pain doubled. It did not feel like this before! He was about to climb to stairs to go back to the ground floor when he noticed a passage.

The one from the flood! Legend looked around to see if anyone was watching and then slowly entered the passage. Was he even allowed to be in here? Oh well who cared it was COOL!

Ari had only been here once before, but it was such a random spot that it was usually quiet and empty, and it was small enough that Ari didn't need her cane for it. Collapsing it, she tucked it into a pocket in her vest, touched her glasses to her nose, and crawled inside.

She was wearing her black dress pants and a white button-up shirt under her Ravenclaw vest and tie. She reached up a pale hand and ruffled her very short red-brown hair that stuck out in all directions. It was so quiet down here--at least, it usually was. Ari cocked her head to the side and heard someone breathing. She slowed. Pressing her dark glasses closer to her eyes, she paused, listening, but did not speak.

And then there was a shuffling noise. Legend spun around. Okay so maybe this wasn't a good idea. There could be...things down here. And he wouldn't even be able to see them. Where was his wand? The fourth year grabbed the stick and held it out. "Who's there?" He said loudly pointing the stick all over.

Keeping her left hand on the wall, Ari held up her right hand. "Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." The boy's voice was not one she recognised. She smiled towards the sound of his voice and came forward a few steps, "I'm Ari," she said, gesturing to herself. "Didn't mean to sneak up on you," she laughed quietly, touching her dark glasses again, compulsively.

It was early, but Ari took in a breath and tried to pinpoint his aura. She had been getting better at this recently, it'd all been coming to her quicker. He'd probably have to speak again for her to get anything. She smiled towards him and tilted her head to the side a bit.

Scare him? Legend snorted. "I wasn't scared." He didn't get scared. He was a Chosen. He was just..being cautious because it was dark. It only made sense. Waving his wand her muttered a spell "Lumos.". The tunnel was instantly brighter and he was able to see the girl's face. Wait...why was she wearing sunglasses? This was suspicious.

Shifting his wand to his other hand Legend quickly brushed his hair out of his eyes so he could get a better look at her. No...she seemed like a normal student....but looks could be deceiving.

Or maybe this passage was just making him paranoid.

"Why are you wearing sunglasses in the dark?" He asked the girl bluntly. If she was evil then he didn't even believe her name was Ari. Pssh.

Ari nodded when he corrected her. "My mistake," she said softly, holding up one hand. There was a pause, and she could tell he was looking her over. He was cautious and analytical.

She paused for a long moment when he asked why she was wearing sunglasses. Ari tried hard not to laugh or smile. "No reason," she said, shaking her head slightly. "No reason at all." Oh, this would be fun. Seeing how long it might take. She sat after a moment, still turned towards him. She ran one hand up through her hair again and pushed her glasses again, making sure her eyes stayed hidden.

This girl....seemed way too nice.

There was no way she was a real Hogwarts student. Legend eyed her his wand still held up high. He wasn't scared of a girl...it was just... she could be some scary snake like monster in reality. Hey he heard stories about it!

"Take them off then Ari." Legend demanded. Ari Pssh. Yeah right the snake monster was probably just getting read to attack. "Last time I checked sunglasses makes the dark...well darker. " And the dark did not have to be darker because....it was already dark enough.

Yeah? Yeah that was right.

She smiled and nearly laughed. "I don't think you want me to do that," she said. "I mean, if you insist, I will, but...some people look better with their eyes covered. And you're right about the dark, but it makes no difference to me," she said. Oh, this was fun. More fun than she'd had in a long time.

"This is the part where you tell me your name," she prompted, gesturing towards him.

....Why wouldn't she want to take off her glasses? Where they gonna explode and make some random red ray of like that would destroy everything in her path and the-

He was watching wayy too many old Muggle shows. "Are you a bat?...Or a Vampire?" Wait...bat's didn't turn into Vampires did they? Ah he needed to pay more attention in CoMC. But ANYWAYS this girl was suspicious.

Name? Name? Uhh no WAY was he giving her his real name- Wait a second....he had about 5 names... "Name's Shiloh....Shiloh...Art." Yeah that seemed believable."Why are you down here Ari? If that is your real name."

She laughed loudly, and it echoed for a moment in the passageway. "No. Although, my grandmother said she was bitten by a vampire, and she always told us stories about being part vampire, so who knows? But that's not why you don't want me to take them off," she teased.

She pushed her lips together when he gave her a name. She could hear the hesitation, and his energy...egh. It wasn't right. But she would play along. "Well, Mister Art--if that is your real name--" she mimicked, then very quickly added, "eventhoughi'mprettypositiveitisn't--I came down here because it's usually deserted. And quiet. And I have nowhere else to be." Bah! She should've said something to make him more paranoid. Oh, well. Next time.

Her grandmother was bitten by a Vampire? THIS GIRL WAS A VAMPIRE!! Legend was sure of it. His sister had always read Vampire books and she sorta fit the description. She wasn't really pale or anything but STILL! "If you don't take them off then I will for you Vampire Lady!" He challenged.

"Actually it isn't. I won't give you my real name till you tell me that you're really a Vampire." He really didn't want to get bit. "Well I mean....Art isn't my last name. Shiloh is my name." Legend nodded. Shiloh WAS his name...technically....one of his names....

"Deserted? No were else to be? All the things a vampire would say! Put your hands up and then no one will get hurt! I gotta tell the headmaster!" This girl was really dangerous. People had to know right??

Oh. My. GOD! Ari was cracking up on the inside. He really, honestly thought she was a vampire. She curled her upper lip at him and let out a hiss, then growled and snapped her teeth at him. Ari was naturally pretty pale, and she preferred the night air, and her grandma had really told stories like that, but she never really had a craving to drink blood or anything. She let out another playful hiss. This kid's great.

She centered herself in the middle of the passage, standing again. "Now that you know, I can't let you leave," she said firmly, trying with all her might not to smile or laugh. She snapped her teeth towards him again and took a few slow steps.

She smiled and laughed again after a moment. "If you insist," she said. Ari reached up with one pale hand and slid her glasses off her nose. She blinked towards him a few times. If he was close enough, and the light was good enough, he would be able to see that, under the thick milky veil, her eyes were a crystal green. She reached up with her other hand and ruffled her red-brown, feather-like hair again. "Satisfied?"

DUDE! Legend jumped back as the girl-Vampire Lady started to hiss that was not normal that was NOT cool. She was not a normal girl, she was a Vampire and-

Wait a second.

This all seemed too fake. Crossing his arms he glared at her as she continued to hiss. Yeah right. He dared her too attack him. BRING IT ON.

As she stood up and slowly walked toward him Legend's eyes opened a bit. He wasn't scared. Nope. Nope. She was just acting...sorta freaky but....he could deal with Vampires...or Vampire actors. "You're not scaring me." He said loudly.

And then she laughed. He knew that she had been messing with his eyes. THIS WAS WHY GIRLS WERE EVIL! Legend glared at her but then his mouth slowly opened as she took off the glasses. Her eyes were obviously different but they weren't scary or anything. Why did she think he wouldn't want to see it? "That's so cool." And then suddenly it hit him. The glasses the eyes, and then the stick she had been holding before. "You're blind." He muttered slowly.

She wasn't able to stay serious for long she laughed again, trying to hold it in. "I wasn't trying to," she managed to giggle. "You brought it on yourself."

Wow. No one had ever called her eyes 'cool'. She nodded and slid her glasses back onto her nose. "I am blind," she confirmed, nodding a bit. "So...so you really weren't far off when you mentioned turning into a bat," she prompted, shrugging. Even though bats weren't 100% blind, eh. She had to throw him a bone. Give him some credit. A lot of epople didn't pick it up right away, and it was fun messing with them. "So...this is the part where you tell me your real name," Ari teased, leaning against the side of the passage, counting one step backwards so as to not get lost.

"YES YOU WERE!-" He started but then he stopped-

She was blind.

That was so surreal. Legend had so many questions running through his brain but he didn't want to be rude. He backed up a bit without really thinking. "Yeah but you gotta admit....you do kinda look like a Vampire.....I mean I know you can't see yourself but..." Legend trailed off. That was the stupidest thing to say.

He took a deep breath, he would actually have to think about what he said. He didn't want to insult her or anything. "My names Legend Chosen." He said with a nod. "Is your name really Ari?"

Oh, my goodness, he was hilarious! She heard a slight shuffling of him moving, but because the pssage was so enclosed, there was no way of telling if he backed up or came forward or shifted his weight or what. She smiled towards him, "I'm sure I do. I don't get out much--and my parents are from Ireland, so...I don't tan, I just burn," she admitted.

Legend Chosen. The name and voice would be filed away together permanently. "Yes," she said, "Although, it's technically 'Arienna', but four syllables is hard for some people, so it got shortened to 'Ari'. So, anyway...I'm Arienna Malone, and I'm a sixth year Ravenclaw," she nodded. Ari sat back down against the wall, keeping her head turned towards him. Some people really got freaked out if she didn't.
