OOC: Before posting in this thread, you must first have been called back by Healer Moretti. To be seen by the Healer, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients first then in the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors.

Upon entering the Hospital Ward and Healing Area (either on foot or via mobilicorpus‎), you'll come upon a long hallway that eventually forks into two different directions. You'll want to proceed to the right, the direction that will take you to the Healing Area. Healer Moretti will be waiting for you. It is in the Healing Area that you'll receive the medical attention that will hopefully heal you right away and send you back to classes and your everyday life.

If, however, you aren't able to be healed right away and your character is in a rather serious condition, you will be escorted to the Observation Ward, where you will receive further medical attention.

OOC: Once your character is seen and tended to, Healer Moretti will deem them "well" and able to return to classes/everyday life. If your character continues to suffer from repeat conditions, it's likely that he or she will be admitted into the Room for Quarantined Patients. If this happens, you will be temporarily placed in the "Quarantined" user group, and your posting in the school will be temporarily limited to the "Quarantined" thread only.

I will lock these threads once a session is finished. When a new session, and a new student is assigned to the room, the thread will be reopened.

Maddie walked into the room she'd been told to go to and sat down on the bed, cold compress still on her wrist. She tried to move it, and winced. Yes, bad idea.

"Oh darling, don't strain." Lily said, entering the room and seeing the girl trying to move her wrist. Very carefully, she picked up the girl's arm, holding the wrist gently with one hand, and the arm with another.

Once again, another broken bone.

With a sigh, she turned back to her cabinet and pulled out another vial. She was going to have to restock already! "Drink this." She requested, carrying on to fill a glass of water.

'Um... OK' said Maddie, and took the glass in her unbroken hand. She drank the whole dose, and shuddered. 'That tastes... really bad!' she exclaimed

"Silly." Lilyan giggled as the child made a face. "That is what this is for." She held out the glass of water and nodded, encouraging her to drink it all.

"Do you write with that hand, dear?" she inquired, still watching her wrist carefully, "You will need to favor it for a few days."

Maddie took the water and drank it quickly.
'No, I'm right handed' she said. That was good, right? 'So I can still do spells and take notes with this hand, and I just have to... not do anything with that one?'

Lily nodded at the girl. "Correct. Make sure that you take care not to strain, or else the potion won't work the way it is meant to work, and then, the bones will set crooked."

...And she did not want to know what would have to happen THEN.

"Thanks." Carter said. He got up and taking Marie by the hand headed over to Room One. He then sat down and waited for the nurse to come back.

Marie took Carter's hand and followed him back to Room One. Once in the room she sat and waited with him. "How you feeling now?" she asked. Sure, she had asked him the same question not long ago but that still didn't stop her from asking again. She knew she shouldn't worry so much but she couldn't help it, she didn't want to see him hurt.

Normally, Lilyan discouraged visitors in the Healing Rooms, but, since this was a simple injury, she didn't much mind. "Let's start off with..." She paused, twirling her wand in her fingers as she looked at the two.

"What happened?"

Marie looked up when the healer came in. Of course, another new face. Were the Lawsons and Truebridge the only staff from last term that returned?

She looked back over at Carter when they were asked what happened. Noticing he didn't seem to sure about what to say probably because he didn't think he needed to be there Marie decided to tell what happened.

"Well Carter was playing football and he got kicked in the neck. My ex-boyfriend kicked him just because he is my... boyfriend almost boyfriend friend..." She looked back over at Carter not really knowing how to finish that sentance. In her mind he was her boyfriend but she wasn't really sure what Carter thought anymore.

"Boyfriend." Carter said looking over at Marie and finishing her sentence. "I'm her boyfriend." he said again. Boy, did it feel good to finally say that. He wasn't sure what to say next. "Anyway, I don't think it's too bad." he said leaning his head to one side so the nurse could get a better look.

Marie's face lit up and she had a smile that went from ear to ear when Carter said he was her boyfriend. For months she had been waiting for him to say he was her boyfriend. She had no idea though just how happy she was going to feel when he actually said it. Apart from her ex-boyfriend kicking Carter who was now officially her boyfriend, this was turning out to be one of the best days of her life.

Was this healer ever going to be done here so they could leave? She just wanted to be alone with her boyfriend now that she finally knew he was her boyfriend.

With one blonde eyebrow raised, Lilyan looked at first the boy, and then the girl. Boyfriend. Girlfriend. They both looked... gooey.

Oh to be young and in love.

"Well. It's not bad at all." She replied finally, with her wand, she tapped lightly on the boy's neck, mumbled a spell and the bruise faded away from his skin. "That should fix you right up." She said, pulling back.

Carter rolled his head. Oh yes, that felt much better. "Thanks Healer Moretti." he said happily getting up. "Shall we get going?" he asked Marie holding out a hand to her.

Marie watched as the bruising on Carter's neck disappeared. She was glad she had talked him into coming here. Now she wouldn't have to be reminded of Evan when she looked at him. She took his hand when he held it out to her. "Yes, I'm ready to go." she said smiling at him. She was so ready to have some time alone with him, without any distractions of those who thought they shouldn't be together.

"Thanks for getting rid of his bruise," she said to the healer as they walked towards the door.

Evan entered the room, still holding Olivia's hand. It was warm, and it felt nice. A good strenght for his splitting headache. He dropped her hand though once they both were inside. Holding a girl that wasn't your girlfriend wasn't good. Standing there awkwardly, he thought it'd be better if he sat. Glancing at the nurse, he sat down and waited.

Olivia walked into the room still holding onto Evan's hand. Butterflies in her stomach. She knew she had a big smile on her face but that smile quickly fadded as she let go of her hand. She didn't want to show that she was upset though so a smile quickly grew on her face, a fake smile of course. She sat down next to Evan and looked at the nurse and then him, waiting. She was waiting for Evan to get some sort of medication or something.

"Do you often have headaches?" Lilyan asked, flicking her wand and levitating a potion over to the boy. While she waited for him to take it, and answer her question, she flipped through her book, looking to see who else had signed in.

"Not much." Evan said while he took the potion. This headache was just a bad one, the combination of anger and wind blowing right into his face. He drank the potion, and waited in case the healer wanted to ask anything else.

"Well then, you're good to go." She waved a hand at him, to let him know he was free to leave. "That potion should start working in about ten minutes."

Evan smiled at the Healer. "Thanks." he said while he walked out with Olivia. He should learn how to brew such a potion sometime... it was really handy. Maybe the Healer would teach him..?

Teegan entered Room One like she was told to and sat down on the wooden chair, she didn't want to touch that hospital bed for it'd deem her sick. And, well, she didn't do well with being sick.

Teegan sat there in the chair waiting for the healer to come to her room. She pulled the tissue back out from her shirt pocket and blew her nose in it. Her head throbbed slightly, and in return she gave a groan. Just great! she thought.

"So, I see that you're sick." Lilyan stated the obvious, it was something that Healers and the like did, and often.

"What exactly seems to be bothering you, besides the cough?"

Teegan rolled her eyes at the Healer, obviously she was sick or she wouldn't be in the hospital wing would she? And surely she had heard the cough by now, right? Teegan gave another cough before she answered. "My throat has been hurting for a couple of weeks now. This cough started a few days ago, and my head is starting to throb." She told the Healer rather quickly to make sure she got it all out before another coughing attack hit her. "I'm not supposed to be sick. I don't get sick. I'm NEVER sick." Teegan told the healer with force. What was wrong with her! She brushed her long blonde hair behind her shoulders with her fingers and waited for the Healer to say something...anything. She wasn't supposed to be here. She wasn't even supposed to step foot in here. She wasn't even supposed to THINK about coming to the Hospital Wing. End of story.
