We snuck in here quickly" Jason laughed.
Wait? Did Rex just say he was alright with her dancing with Oliver and Kevin? Why the change all of a sudden. "Ok, Thanks Rex." She said looking around to see if Kevin had even came. Yes there he was. "So fight dance with you. Want to go over to the floor?" She asked.
Another voice from the past rang in her ears as Regina turned her head. She smirked as the lovely lady walked up next to the shiny blonde. Memories of the young student standing her ground against a particularly nasty flying Professor made Regina smile. "Well well well, its Gutsy Tommy" she greeted.
It took her a minute to take in the taller and fuller figure of her former housemate. Tomasina hadn't changed much since Hogwarts, maybe longer hair, but she still looked like herself. "Regain?" she asked with astonishment clear on her face. Of course the girl was taller than Tommy now. "You're quite the beanstalk now aren't you?" she teased. It was really good to see Regina after all these years.

Hmm, so Cela was allowed to date now. That was something new, at least she had picked a cute one, though lacking in the bravery department if she shrank back from Tommy. She wasn't scary at all if you asked her. "Yes we can wait till later for the introduction," she pointed to the badge on Cela. "Can't say I'm surprised you're head girl. Between you and Anna I don't know which one of you was more annoying." she smiled. She though Cela and Anna both deserved it they were far better students than Tommy ever cared to be.

Aww.. Bella looked so sad and Oliver felt kind of bad for her. His amused expression softened into one of kindness. He smiled when she thanked him for offering to dance with her. “'S'no problem.” He shrugged. But wait? She had no one to dance with? He raised an eyebrow. “So I'm like last option, am I?” But he smirked to let her know he was just teasing.
Oliver grinned. “I'm great.” He replied jovially. Even better after the days events on the Quidditch pitch. “It's alright. Not seen a lot yet because we're stuck in this line.” hehe. “But I can't wait to get in there.” He nodded towards the dancefloor. “Are you much of a dancer?”
Aww.. a hug. That was unexpected but Oliver hugged the young girl back and grinned. “Thank you.” He said releasing her. “It's going well.” He replied. “The crowds of fans are thinning – we should be able to get away from here soon.” Hopefully. He laughed warmly. “Of course! But only if your boyfriend is ok with it.” He eyed Rex... who actually agreed to it! Woah – now that was a U-turn. Going from getting jealous because Oliver was merely chatting to Kay to letting her dance with him. “Thanks.” He said to the dude and then focused back on Kay. “Great. That's settled then. I'll see you in there, ok?”
Oliver mock gaped at Trixie. “Yeah.” He said sarcastically. “Being under the Imperius Curse last year gave me the idea. Poor girl hasn't a clue. Jus' don't tell anyone, 'kay? Our little secret.” He winked, then crinkled his nose at his own cynical wit – sometimes it was better not to open his mouth.
Milo? Oliver didn't know the dude. “Well I hope you and he have a good night.” He smiled warmly, which morphed into a chuckle at yet another request for a dance. Phew! Good job the lad was a Quidditch player and had the energy for this. “Only if you show me yours, Trixie.” Like she would refuse. “Think there's an award for best dancers?” Because with Trixie on his arm, they would have it in the bag... not that Oliver was overconfident about such things or anything.
Aww.. Tommy was coming over. Oliver gave his sister-in-law a hug and pecked her on the cheek. It was really good to see her. “Of course I am.” He smirked. “Why? You worried about seeing certain people? I bet you made one or two enemies while you were here.” He winked. heh. Oliver could just imagine what Tommy had been like at school. “Is Excelsior coming?”
He nodded in agreement. “She said she could do with a break from studying and she wanted to see someone called Bluebell.” What a bloody weird name. Where was Ems anyway? She hadn't come this way yet. Maybe she'd chickened out of coming. For someone who wanted to be a brave Auror, she wasn't half timid in social situations.
It truly was nice to see Oliver and he was clearly in his element right now with girls smirking and smiling at him. Yep, he was a Greenwood alright. Tomasina thought to herself as she walked over to him. She hugged him back and kissed his cheek as well. "There are just a few people I don't want to run into." Namely Nico. It wasn't that she didn't want to run into him she just didn't know if she could be civil if she did.
A evil grin played at the corners of her mouth, "Only one or two. Why Oliver you think so little of me?" She had made more than a few enemies, and there were more than a few fights as well. She nodded. "He's going to be late. Its Quidditch season," she explained. And she really should have been at home working out the kinks on the new line of brooms they were about to unveil, but she couldn't resist a good party.
Tommy smiled, "Well Ems and Bluebell were like peas in a pad as I recall. I would think she would be the one person Emily was keen to see." Tommy played on the quidditch team with Eleanor. Thought she didn't remember her well. "How Emily is doing all that studying is beyond me. I had enough of that in school." Tomasina wasn't stupid she just hated homework and classes, though she was a top earner 3 years in a row. That was enough for her.

Aww, he waved. Sarah liked Tate. He was nice. So she waved back. "Everything is fine, thank you," nod of the head. "Slight shoe problem earlier, but all fixed now." Not that he wanted to know that, but the man had asked. "I like your bow tie, sir!" Sarah called, gesturing to her neck, then his, in case he didn't hear her properly. Very nice evening attire. Mind you, everyone looked lovely. The school inhabitants sure did scrub up well.

Lorelai Bristol was NOT a fan of huuuuuge crowds, certainly not if they weren't there for her. Buuuuuut, she was happy on this night. Extremely happy. Albeit Adam had decided he wasn't coming a few months ago, and she had made plans instead of coming stag. Her unofficial date was already here, in the recieiving line alongside everyone else. Sarah Griffin was quite possibly one of the best friends ever. Like, best as in... Dorm-sharing, Lori-admiring , Guard-badgering unofficial date type.
Instead of dwelling on the fact she wasn't on her boyfriends arm right now, Lori swanned through from the entrance hall and almost down the receiving line, with a BIIIIIIIIG smile plastered on her face; simply because she had caught sight of ex-professor Bunbury's hair!
There was GOLDIE! And Sarah! And Miranda The Panda! Aaaaand... OLLYWOLLYVER/Curls/Curly Sue/It. Ohhh, they all looked so CUUUUUTE!

Because Sarah had just seen her 'date' for the evening waltz along to the Receiving Line. Lorelai Bristol was looking fab, and sparkly and.... "LORILOU!" Sarah couldn't contain it. She rushed forward and enveloped her friend in a hug, not caring if she ruffled her own dress or hair. Lori on the other hand probably would mind. "Sorry hun, got excited, and you look wonderful!" she giggled, stepping back and giving her a huge grin. "Did Adam change his mind, or am I still your unofficial date?" Hehe that was a funny thought.
Glancing up and down the line, Sarah tried to see how many more people there were to chat to. She was getting more and more eager to go inside, especially now Lori was there, she wouldn't be on her own. "As soon as I'm finished here I'll join you inside. Promise." She nodded and winked. And then she spotted the red head of the EX-Professor Bunbury. Sarah was about to wave and say hello, when she noticed the look on the woman's face. She didn't look happy. Best to keep her mouth shut then.

Barry entered the entrance hall beaming. It was wonderful to be back again. He`d missed hogwarts and awful lot over the year he`d been gone and hadn`t expected to see it again so soon. He immediately saw the long line of people greeting the guests as they entered. He recognised some faces and walked over.
Barry nodded to the professers as he passed he didn`t know any of them well they had just always been teachers not more. He stopped when he reached Neo the grounds keeper " Nice to see you, sir. How's everything?" he asked. He had liked him. Much more then their previous grounds keeper Ocean or something.
Then onto the students. First there was Sarah. Barry wasn`t really good friends with her but they'd met last year and worked together with Aaron to help Cela be found. It'd be nice to say hi. "Hey Sarah." he said then he remembered that she was a prefect. " Want to be head girl too?" he asked with a little smile.
Speaking of head girls there was the current one. And it was Cela. Barry should have known. She was always top of the class and had followed the rules, most of the time anyway. Cela looked beautiful. He liked her dress and were those high heels? Where were the good old days when she had worn flat glisso shoes. If he didn`t have his own girlfriend and the fact that he was way over thinking of Cela romanticly he might have been attracted by her. "Wow." he said with a warm" Isn`t Cope lucky to have you" If he hadn`t been scared of tripping Cela over he would have embraced her too.
Then Barry noticed a girl talking to Cela. He knew her! Her name was.....Tommy! Yeah she`d had a crush on Excelsior and Barry'd fought with he or something. All in the past now. It had been years. "Tommy!" he exclaimed. "Its been a while." Hopefully no hard feelings
And there was Raiden! Barry still remembered meeting him. Although they hadn`t talked so much since that meeting had bonded him with Raiden somehow, to Barry anyway. "Hey Man!" he said shaking his hand " How you been?" he asked. He was alone. Didn`t he have a date? Was he still over Cela?
Barry had been just about to ask Raiden if he had a date when he saw Kay and Rex ahead " Catch up with you inside!" he called before turning back to his little crowd of friends.

She always wore what she felt like, which bordered on military funk and at times completely outrageous, anything to intimidate the other fellows in her errr.... line of business. But now she felt foolish. Absentmindedly twisting the hem of her dress, she asked her old Housemate, "So, how have you been? Life seems to have treated you well." And then some!

Cela looked towards where Copernicus had gone to wait for her and bit her lip. If she wasn't actually greeting people she wanted to see right now, she'd have probably slipped after him right away. "Even Nico approves of him, most of the time." Except when he was totally pretending to be scary.
Looking back at Tommy Celandine nodded. "I like it. I like helping people and this makes it easier for people who need help to find me." She explained, referring to the Head Girl thing.

With a big gulp, Ivory took a few deep breaths and made one foot go in front of the other in some sort of semblance of walking, her hands clutching the tiny black and white polka dot purse that matched her shoes.
All around her the decorations seemed to be whispering softly, as if chiding her for taking so long to see the final results of the Decoration committee. The final result of all their efforts.
And they had a right to chide her...seeing as she'd spent the last hour in her dormitory staring at the sparkly dress in its white tissued box and willing herself to put it on while at the same time dreading it. Suffice to say it'd taken a while to muster up the courage to put the darn thing on...and yes, she'd even put on the sheer black hose her mother had insisted she wear as well. Even though they really were itchy and it took all the will power in the world to not stop right there and rub her leg against some fixture or other.
Her large brown eyes, wide and uncertain, took in the way it had all come together and as she made her careful way in the Great Hall (One couldn't really walk quickly in heels, especially if they had almost never worn them before) she looked around and had to admit: They'd done a pretty good job. Smiling now since at least she had one less fear to worry about, she tried to stand a little straighter as she approached the receiving line.
Her smile a litter wider now and more genuine since she spotted Cela and Raiden, she lifted her hand in a friendly wave to encompass everyone there.
"Hey all!" Turning to Cela, and the wonderful ensemble of beautiful-ness, Ivory couldn't resist a little whispery squeal. "Cela, I do believe you are the brightest thing here" Giggling, she admired the sparkly result of it all.

She had to step back so that she wasn't getting a pain in her neck as she looked up at Regina. "A bit of growing up?" she asked with a smile. "You might want to watch out for the clouds up there." Tommy was barely 5'0 tall. "But it fits you." Regina had always had a larger than life persona and now she had the height to go with it. "Why thank you. I wanted to look good tonight." Well she always wanted to look good but she had a reputation to uphold as Hogwarts fashionista and she didn't want to disappoint.
She frowned as Regina did that shy, shrinking violet thing she always did. "Why do you always do that?" she asked her gently. It had always bothered her.
A smile spread across her face, "Life has been really good. Excelsior and I got married. Though I'm not sure you met him. He was a year ahead of me. And the girls are almost 6 months old now." It was weird that she was excited about her daughters. She had never thought of herself as a mother. She had left that up to Egypt, but she found she was taking to motherhood like a duck to water. "Enough about me though. I want to hear what you've been up to. If you are anything like you were in school I know its exciting." Tomasina had really missed the girl when she left.

Cela looked towards where Copernicus had gone to wait for her and bit her lip. If she wasn't actually greeting people she wanted to see right now, she'd have probably slipped after him right away. "Even Nico approves of him, most of the time." Except when he was totally pretending to be scary.
Looking back at Tommy Celandine nodded. "I like it. I like helping people and this makes it easier for people who need help to find me." She explained, referring to the Head Girl thing.
She smiled at her former classmate. "Well your beautiful girl." she told her honestly. Even with that twirling of the hair thing she did when she was thinking.
She folded her thin arms across her chest. "Oh Nico approves does he?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. "Well then I really must meet this young man if he passed the Nico test." she was just teasing but they both knew it was more true than Cela cared to admit.
Tomasina nodded. And this was why she hadn't been the head girl. She liked helping people when she wanted to. "Well it suits you. So what are your plans after Hogwarts?" she could see Cela knee deep in something that would turn out to be bug juice or something. Or maybe the girl had grown up in more ways than one.

Awwww. Raiden smiled and held back a laugh. Nia wouldn't look awkward dancing with shorter people. That was just silly. Why would it look awkward?
"She's not an alumni, no." Raiden rubbed the back of his neck and shook his head. "Neptune Bott. From Ravenclaw? She wasn't back this term, though."
He kinda missed her. She'd made him uncomfortable sometimes but... he missed her all the same. For those non-awkward moments. He knew Lina thought of her as a brat, and thought Raiden was better off not knowing her, but... Raiden liked being around her. The absence had not gone unnoticed, especially when coupled with Daphne not having come back.
Daph would've looked beautiful tonight too, had she come.
"There was someone I wanted to ask, but she's not an alumni, so she wouldn't have been able to come." He shrugged. "It's not a big deal. I don't think having a date to a ball is that important, is it?"
His attention was caught by a voice calling his name, and he turned toward the person, a big grin plastered on his face. He noticed Bunbury and Truebridge, just as they both disappeared, and he gave Ivory a quick wave in return to hers, but grabbed Barry's outstretched hand and turned his focus to his friend.
"Hey! I've... been alright. For the most part." He looked his friend up and down. "How's life after graduation? You miss being here?"
Bella giggled, she wished she had a sister. All she had was her younger brother, she loved him dearly, but sometimes felt lonely having no sister she could share fashion tips with and gossip.
"I think i might have inherited mine from my mother and aunt, but im not that much into fashion really" She told Gold, gasping at herself, how could she not be into fashion? She's a girl. Shaking her head a little she added, "I mean, i have no older sister to help me really"
She laughed, a devious look in her eyes, "Im going to try and get as many boys i can to dance with me" She told Gold in hushed tones so no boys could hear her, "I came with no date you see"
Well she could try right?
Aww. Gold didn't have a sister, either. Well, not in the sister-sister sense. She totally had a bunch, in the friend-sister sense. Sachie and Lavonne and Brody and Lori. See?
"I'm an only child," she told Bella, with a grin. "But I have a couple of amazing friends, so that makes it alright. You can always talk fashion with me. Or borrow heels, if you want to. I have loads." She looked down at her sparkly heels, again. They were really pretty.
Gold loved them, obviously.
Her lips tugged up into a huge smile, at Bella's words. "I have a date, but I'm still going to dance with lots of people," she said, matter-of-factly. Because guys would want to dance with her. You know? "You have fun, Bella. Make the most of tonight." Hehe. "We can totally dance, too." Because girls were THE best. They should sooo dance together.
They could totally rock the dance floor, then.

Her smile a litter wider now and more genuine since she spotted Cela and Raiden, she lifted her hand in a friendly wave to encompass everyone there.
"Hey all!" Turning to Cela, and the wonderful ensemble of beautiful-ness, Ivory couldn't resist a little whispery squeal. "Cela, I do believe you are the brightest thing here" Giggling, she admired the sparkly result of it all.

Gold would totally have squealed out loud, if she hadn't been too busy waving, to get her friend's attention. "Lor," she said, pulling the girl into half a hug. Half a hug only, of course. Not the kind that would ruin Lor's dress, or mess up her hair, or anything of that sort.
"You look gorgeous," she grinned. Obviously. Now she wanted to see Brody, even more. Where was she, anyway? AND where in the name of Merlin's twenty-sixth pink cat was Chris? Gold pouted, at the thought.
She caught sight of Ivory, as she thought all this, and waved to the Ravenclaw. "Hey, Ivory. You look pretty sparkly."

Regina dropped it and gave a nervous laugh, shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly "Oh, I was just trying to see if my dress can get any longer, maybe as long as Cela's here." she joked. Silently she kicked herself, it was a childhood habit she had difficulty getting rid off, that emerged whenever she felt inferior or uneasy, like a nervous tick.
She listened entranced when Tommy recounted the highlights of her life, and shook her head slightly when Tommy mentioned if she have ever met her husband Excelsior back in the day. Husband! Children! She felt a tiny twinge deep down, a sad kind of envy on how well Tommy's life had turned out. She hid it with the happiest smile she could muster, cooing to hear about Tommy's 6 month old girls "Both are 6 months old? Did you have twins?" she inquired.
Her smile melted away when Tommy asked about her life. Her hands started to search for something to twist on her dress again, but caught it in time and instead folded her arms across her chest. "Oh my life? pffft" she said coolly, but her mind was racing, groping for words, What should I tell her? That I was declared dead? That I was a street rat? That I've gone all gangster like to survive? Well technically I'm not a gangster, just a hired gun...or wand... whichever would be more appropriate in completing the job. Aware of the growing silence, she meandered and finally said "I... I'm in the service industry actually, yeah.... you know, people need to get some stuff done, they put the jobs out and....I do it for them.Yeah."Yeah, right... that sounded good, sounded plausible enough.

Celandine smiled graciously but she was sure that trading compliments would go on forever if she didn't simply stop. So she didn't harp on about how Tommy was completely beautiful too.
"He does. I think they're practically friends now." Which was kind of funny to Cela. "They're both very honourable and all." Cela waved her hand in dismissal though she was still smiling, a bit ruefully now. It was important to her. Nicholai's opinions counted because they always had merit.
"Thank you." Celandine was quite cheerful about the whole Head Girl thing now, despite misgivings at the outset. Oooh. After Hogwarts. Well. "I'll get married and have babies." She informed Tommy.
Maybe other stuff too. But you know, thats what she'd been raised to think, and it was slow going for Copernicus to convince her she was not only capable of doing more, but that she'd be able to.

Cela hugged back, almost clinging to her once best friend in the entire universe, all of the good feeling and the depth of how much she had missed her Slytherin counterpart going into that squeeze. "I grew." She offered in a mumble. Celandine stepped back and made an apologetic face. "And I broke my promise. There was angst, Steely. Lots." She gave the other girl -other woman, really- a big liquid eyed look, a flash of her old self still there.
She peeked left and right, really there weren't all that many left who knew details of her conduct in her younger days. Curiousity and experimentation had been the root of it all. And of course there was a touch of rebellion fueling it too, especially back at Belles. "Good grades, and you know, everyone knows me and stuff, and I'm okay with being the centre of attention and having people look at me and things like that. And talking. In public. A lot." All good reasons.
Hearing Steelsheen's comments about what she was doing with herself, Celandine nodded knowingly but didn't say anything. Sounded kind of like what her brothers did. Boring stuff obviously. Things Celandine was aware of but strangely unconcerned by. It was ho-hum. Like going to the store for milk. Which actually would have been far more alarming and interesting and out of the ordinary for someone like Celandine.

Nia fiddled with her hands. "I kinda know her," she said at the mention of Neptune Bott. "I mean, I know of her, from in the Common Room. But not, like, as a friend." Which showed really, as Nia hadn't exactly been aware that the girl hadn't returned this year. Was the Captain really that unobservant to anyone other than her team? That wasn't too good, was it? Note to self, try to be more observant and get to know more people whilst still doing Quidditch and school work. Right.
"Oh," Nia said, stopping the fiddling of her hands and smoothing them over the front of her dress. "It's a real shame she couldn't come." She shook her hair back at the date question. "I'm not sure, to be honest," she said with a nervous smile. "I mean, this is my first ball...and when you get all dressed up and everything, it kinda completes the girly childhood dream if you're on the arm of a handsome young man." Like the prince and princess thing from fairytales. "And, I don't know, perhaps it's just me, but I do feel a bit self conscious with everyone paired up. Like I'm just going to be a gooseberry on the side." She gave a nervous giggle. No quite all dress up and nowhere to go...more like noone to go with.
Oh yes, Nia often had a confident exterior, but it didn't mean to say she didn't get nervous or worried. It was something she'd developed to not show the opposition any fear. And as she was standing in this line longer, it was daunting on her that soon she would be going into the actual ballroom. And although she was excited to see how it'd been decorated, it was a nervy thought about what she was going to do when she was in there. She wasn't the type to just head over and start talking to people. So, y'know, having a partner would...well, make things a tad easier.

Afterall, she was going to be graduating next year, and it would be good to know about the different backgrounds people she would possibly being working with.
And then he caught her a bit off guard. "Me? Why would anyone..." she trailed off, and gulped. "Erm, I guess." It was a diversion tactic. She didn't know why anyone would ask her. She was just Nia. And of course, Elan was around somewhere, but hadn't got round to asking. As for anyone else, apparently she was invisible. Or too scary to approach. Either way, not good for a 'date'.
Nia offered a small smile at his words. They were some consolation for what was going through her mind. But they didn't cover for the fact at the dance lesson she was sidelined until right near the very end. Sure, at least she'd dressed up tonight, but did that really change things? Surely people weren't that shallow?
She took a bit of a breath, and let a hopeful smile flicker across her lips. "With any luck..." she said with a slight shrug of the shoulders. "I mean, I can't be standing at the food table all night, else I'll be busting out of my dress!" She wanted to dance too. She really did - even putting in a bit of outside practice...

"Oh my life? pffft" she said coolly, but her mind was racing, groping for words, What should I tell her? That I was declared dead? That I was a street rat? That I've gone all gangster like to survive? Well technically I'm not a gangster, just a hired gun...or wand... whichever would be more appropriate in completing the job. Aware of the growing silence, she meandered and finally said "I... I'm in the service industry actually, yeah.... you know, people need to get some stuff done, they put the jobs out and....I do it for them.Yeah."Yeah, right... that sounded good, sounded plausible enough.
She wasn't fooled by Regina's little act. She had spent 2 years with the girl after all. "Its like you feel like you can't be in the same league as other people or something." she told her. "True you will never be me or Cela or I don't know Astrid, but that's ok because you aren't us." She sighed calming down not wanting to get upset at the girl. "Girl you are beautiful and you better strut through this ball like you own it and could have any guy in this room if you wanted him." she took Steel's hands and looked the girl in the eyes, well as best she could seeing as how Steel was a foot taller than her. "I've always envied you." she admitted to her. "You just have this personality that draws people to you and you can make friend in a snap. And I've always had to work so hard for the few friends that I have." She knew she was a hard person to get to know and she hoped she had gotten better over the years with that. "Tap into that diva I know you've got and let her shine through." Divas wore combat boot to after all.
Tommy tried to keep the smile off her face as she asked about the twins. "Seems like twins run in our family." she reached int her dress and pulled out a small locket that was around her throat. She opened it to reveal two smiling pictures of two identical light brown faces with curly black hair for one and brown hair for the other. "That's Ricole with the black hair and then Harlem with the brown hair." she pointed to each twin in turn. Her and Excelsior still couldn't believe they were parents.
She looked at her as Regina spoke. She really looked at her. "What sort of jobs Regina?" she asked her taking on that mother voice she swore she would never use, but Regina was hiding something and Tomasina wanted to know what it was. She took her arm and pulled her off to the side out of earshot of everyone else. "Whats going on Regina. You look like you haven't eaten in weeks nor slept and your being all cryptic about what you've been up to." She eyed her expecting her to be honest with her answer. If she thought she could lie to Tommy and have her not notice she must have forgotten who Tomasina was.

Maybe other stuff too. But you know, thats what she'd been raised to think, and it was slow going for Copernicus to convince her she was not only capable of doing more, but that she'd be able to.
She tilted her head as she took in the full picture of Celandine's boyfriend. "Well its good when your family likes the man in your life. Believe me I've been through the 'we hate the brother in law' drama and its not fun." Well Tommy never hated Nathan, disliked was a better word, but she had grown to love and respect him when she see saw how he took care of her sister and her nieces and nephews. "Is he good to you?" she asked her softly. That was all the mattered at the end of the day.
She looked at Cela curiously. "And what else are you going to do with yourself?" she asked her. If she told Tommy all she was going to do was get married and start cranking out babies Tommy was going to take out her wand and spank her with it. Tomasina had already designed and launched her first line of brooms before she was married and even after she married she still continued to work and build a career for herself.

A little laugh and Cela had to agree. "You look fantastic and sparkly too, Ivory. We'll totally dance later okay?" What? Nothing wrong with that. Girls totally could just go dance around on the dance floor, boogie and stuff. She smiled affectionately at the little 'claw. Yup. She'd totally miss her.
Smiling at the head girl, Ivory nodded enthusiastically. "Yup sounds like a plan." Especially since she doubted Cela was the type to step on toes, and besides everyone knew girls were better dancers anyway. Maybe they could get a bunch of girls together and do I Will Survive or something.
It was at that moment that Ivory felt a small twinge of itchiness behind her right knee and looking around for a quick second to see if anyone was watching, she lowered a hand to give it a small careful scratch.
Wrinkling her nose slightly, Ivory extended the hosed leg to show Cela as she leaned in to whisper conspiratorially."I have to ask..." Since well obviously Cela was way more experienced in these formal girly matters than she was. "How do girls get used to these things they're soo itchy."

He kinda missed her. She'd made him uncomfortable sometimes but... he missed her all the same. For those non-awkward moments. His attention was caught by a voice calling his name, and he turned toward the person, a big grin plastered on his face. He noticed Bunbury and Truebridge, just as they both disappeared, and he gave Ivory a quick wave in return to hers, but grabbed Barry's outstretched hand and turned his focus to his friend.
"Hey! I've... been alright. For the most part." He looked his friend up and down. "How's life after graduation? You miss being here?"
He'd find out himself, soon enough... ugh.
Realizing that Raiden was a little busy at the moment with other people who'd come to the receiving line, Ivory just beamed a smile his way and lifted up her hands in a thumbs up sign and wink.You look good she mouthed as she looked over his outfit. She'd be sure to remember to tell him later that the tie and little chains were very well suited. Suited....heh. In her head, she giggled at her own unintentional pun since of course Rai was wearing a suit. Heh.

Gold would totally have squealed out loud, if she hadn't been too busy waving, to get her friend's attention. "Lor," she said, pulling the girl into half a hug. Half a hug only, of course. Not the kind that would ruin Lor's dress, or mess up her hair, or anything of that sort.
"You look gorgeous," she grinned. Obviously. Now she wanted to see Brody, even more. Where was she, anyway? AND where in the name of Merlin's twenty-sixth pink cat was Chris? Gold pouted, at the thought.
She caught sight of Ivory, as she thought all this, and waved to the Ravenclaw. "Hey, Ivory. You look pretty sparkly."
Hearing a voice to her left, Ivory turned and snorted slightly at having a few strands of her hair catch on her sticky watermelon gloss covered lips. Bleh. How did girls handle this stuff too?! Maybe she should've worn her hair back. Shaking her head, Ivory decided now was not the time to ponder this and satisfied herself with just picking off the flyaway strands that had grown attached to her lips. Smiling in exasperation, she turned towards Gold again (this time slowly so as not to have hair in her face again) and smiled. "Thanks Gold! You look really pretty too!" And she did, she really did. Looking at both her and Cela, Ivory could only hope that when she was their age she would carry herself with that much sophistication and ladylike-ness, instead of teetering on her only 2 1/2 inch heels.
Bella's face turned up into a smile, "Really? I could borrow some heels?" She asked excited, she had never really shared anything with anyone. She backtracked, "I have a brother, He's Nine. And i guess my friend Maura is like my older sister" She told Gold, looking around for Muara.
She giggled, "The girls are on fire!" She joked, "Thanks you too, and yeah we should totally dance tonight" She said giving her a hug.
Hm, maybe Maura would dance with her, jokes around, that'll be fun. She again looked around for her.
Aww. Small brothers are totally cute! Well, if you don't have them. Because Gold knew practically all of her friends who had younger brothers found them huge nuisances at times, and yet Gold found most of them really, really adorable. The smallish brothers, not the friends.
Even though her friends were awesome, too.
They were her friends, after all.
Hehehe.
"Totally," she grinned at Bella. "We can even swap, if you ever want to." She could do with a few flats. AND. "I would love to meet your brother! Small brothers are usually soooo adorable." Other people's, obviously. She glanced round as she spoke, and nodded at Bella's question. Fire was right. Everyone was sooo sparkly and pretty, it was amazing.

Gold blinked, when Ivory's hair caught on to the girl's lipgloss. She could remember having had that problem! Sure, it sounded -now - like it had been ages ago, and Gold couldn't even picture herself with that difficulty anymore, but the memory of the annoyance was clear enough. Lipgloss and hair seem to have a real attachment for each other, if you don't have that much practice at fashion-y stuff.
"Thanks!" She beamed at Ivory, when the girl had finally removed the hair, and turned to respond to her. "I love the sparkly effect so many people have going on for them... and how are you, tonight?"
"We will both see you inside" Rex told Barry. " Victoria and I wil look for you inside too" Jason said to Barry.
Barry waved to the four in front of him. He liked Rex and Jason but he saw them alot. He wanted to meet some of his old friends who he didn`t see alot. Barry glanced at his watch. He had about fifteen minutes left before he was supposed to meet Georgie.

Barry then turned around to see Raiden beaming at him. It had been a while since he`d seen that smile. The last time they`d met Raiden had been seriously injured after some guy broke into the school. Barry had never worked out who it had been. "Did you recover ok?" Barry asked regarding last term
"Its great! I mean I havn`t started a job or training yet. I`m taking a year off before that. I`m learning how countries work and stuff" Barry explained not going into details. Holian was a great country and Prince Dumont had been kind to let him follow him around seeing how it was to rule a country. Oh and now hogwarts. He really missed this place "Yes I miss it! I still have friends outside of hogwarts but its not the same as being here with them. You know, going down to the lake after an exam , visiting hogsemede in the winter. I never knew hogwarts was that special" remarked Barry. He realised now that they really had been the best years of his life.
Then Barry noticed a girl talking to Cela. He knew her! Her name was.....Tommy! Yeah she`d had a crush on Excelsior and Barry'd fought with he or something. All in the past now. It had been years. "Tommy!" he exclaimed. "Its been a while." Hopefully no hard feelings.
Barry looked over at Tommy at the mention of Excelsiors name " Oh you got married?" he said "Good. I always knew you would " he said quickly. Barry had forgotten what Tommy hadn`t liked him but he was going to be extra nice to her now. " How is he? Is he coming?" he asked. She looked over as someone screamed her name. She blinked as she tried to remember how she knew this boy. Ah, a Weasley. Danny. She smiled at him. He wasn't one of her favorite people, all the Weasleys were a bit odd, but he was harmless nonetheless. "Yes it has been a long time." she told him. She nodded at his question. "Yes we did," she said. They had been dating when Excelsior left school. "Oh he's fine and yes he will be here. Hes just running a bit late." she informed him.
