"That makes sense," Brody said seriously, scratching his chin. "Oh and, by the way, your furniture looks good from the top of the trees." He grinned, and hoped she had trees. That would suck if she didn't. For him, and for her. Because trees were cool.

'Heeeey, Luna!' cried Maddie happily, giving the girl a huge smile 'Doesn't it feel weird to be going home already?'


'Yep. I always make sense. Except, you know, when I'm hyper. Or I've had to much caffeine' she said, and took another sip of her water. 'Wait, what? What furniture? And... why is it in the treees?' confusing boy.

"I know!," Luna said almost tearing. "It feels like just yesterday I boarded the Hogwarts Express!". It was true that she felt that way. The experience had been amazing. Suddenly she had a great idea. "Do you want to stay over at my place?" she asked.

Nia headed for the 'Claw table, glancing round for any of the Quidditch team. Becca was at the Staff table, she'd noted that much. Probably saying her goodbyes to Lainey and Vindictus. And the Keeper had better not disappear without saying a proper bye to her Captain. Cos Nia was gonna miss her. Lots. Even after teary speeches and cake fights.

With that, she subconsciously ran her fingers through her hair, almost as if she was checking for cake residue. That had been a mad but awesome party. The best. With the best people. This term had totally been her favourite so far, and she was sad to see it end. Sad for those going - Cela was moving on too, of course - and sad because it was dawning on her that she herself only had one more year to go. That was an odd thought.

Sliding on to the bench, Nia poured herself a goblet of pumpkin juice and decided not to think about next year. Not just yet. Just to enjoy a good Hogwarts feast. And with that, she started to pile some roast potatoes on her plate.

Emily turned her head when someone sat next to her quietly. Her ruby red lips perked into a mysterious smile, almost as if it were blood on her lips. Her icy eyes stared for a moment at the person beside her.

"You look contemplative and melancholy." Emily said, "You're on the quiditch team, yes?" she asked reaching across the table and took some mashed potatoes and corn then started mixing them around on her plate.

Nia looked up from where she was helping herself to some sausages to see someone talking to her. Well, she assumed the younger girl was talking to her, since she was the thoughtful one in the close vicinity.

"Just thinking about it being the end of term," she said. "And the changes it brings." For others as well as herself. She brightened up at the question about Quidditch. "Of course," she replied with a chuckle. "I'm the Captain." It'd be a bit silly being Captain and not being on the team, afterall. "Did you see the games this term?"

Emily smiled at her and her eyes started to concentrate on the other girls. "Yeah, you must have older friends leaving I suppose."

Emily then thought of how to answer the other question. She hadn't seen any of the games... "Well... I... I didn't exactly see any of them actually..." emily said suddenly looking a little more thoughtful than she had been before, how to explain this? "You see... My twin sister died this year, and then I got a letter from one my aunt with many greats that I was to be an important person in my mothers families gypsy village..." Emily then realized how ridiculous the last part sounded, then explained "sorry It's hard to explain the last bit except that my family is different."

Emily scooped her makeshift vegetarian shepherds pie into her mouth, the potatoes andthe corn battling on her taste buds.

"However, I was thinking of trying out next year, I am very good at flying and i think I could make a fair beater." Emily smiled at her, another toothy grin. Emily had finally mastered the art of a gorgeous heart breaking smile and finally transitioned out of the awkward duck-like smile.
