She watched as the cauldron bubbled slightly before calming down.

Keefer glanced at his watch. "Merlin, we'd better get started brewing! Alright, I'll go get some of the ingredients if you start a fire for the cauldron." Keefer went to go get some water. He poured it into the cauldron, then went off to the store cupboards to gather things. Hmm. Wait, what did we need? He went back and snatched the ingredient list. Alright, let's see here. Peppermint leaves, fluxweed, catnip... Ah there it is. Ginger, orange juice, Valerian roots, ginger ale or 7-Up, and Re'em blood or salamander blood. He doubted Re'em blood would be in the student stores, since it was so rare and expensive. But to his surprise, there it was! "Yes!"
He brought all this back to the table where Lisa and the cauldron were, though it took him several trips. "I got it all here! I can't believe there was Re'em blood in there! And ginger ale!" He set it all down and let Lisa take stock of it all. "Ok, I'll get to work chopping the ginger roots up, and you can grind the peppermint leaves. Then we'll need to be working on stirring the ginger ale so it's flat, slicing up the catnip, and chopping and squishing the Valerian roots."
He began to chop up the ginger roots, tongue sticking out slightly in concentration. "So Lisa, what do you think we should add first? I mean, once the water is boiling, that is."

Giving an over-dramatic wink to her friend, she turned her attention back to the cauldron, making sure the liquid inside the cauldron didn't boil over and douse the flame. "So, how long should we cook this stuff?"
Taking a quick glance at the flame to make sure that it was in fact higher than last time, Evelyn paused in her writing the next few steps down and staaarrrrrrreeed at the flame....

Hmm, what? Lifting her head up to look at her friend when she asked something, Evelyn frowned for a moment, almost missing what the question was. Oh... "Perhaps about ten minutes. However long it takes for the puking pastille part to melt, which...it seems like it already is. Not long now." Nodding, she tore her gaze away from her friend, totally skipping the flame before going back to writing. Omg, flame.
Such a pretty flame. "When the puking pastille part melts... do you know a way we can take the bezoar out without burning ourselves?" There was no way it was going to be melting or anything of the sort in there now that she realized. They needed to find another way to incorporate it into the mix.

Adding the last powered ingrient, the hellebore, she pulled away and watched as she glanced back to their notebook. “Lemonade last, but with the others should we use a counter-clockwise stir or would a clockwise one work?” For some reason, she figured the opposite direction would be more appropriate, but she wanted to get Patroclus’ opinion on it.
Reaching for the rest of their ingredients, she glanced around. They did need to buckle down. Some of the others were done already and they still had some more to do.

As Mina added the Hellebore, Patroclus gave the cauldron a final stir, and was pleased as the mirky water turned to a dark burnt orange. He tapped the stirrer on the side, to shake off any drips, as he increased the heat, so too boil the ingredients.
Once Bubbling Patroclus took up the tea spoon, and introduced the honey to the steaming broth. As the honey hit the water, the burnt orange, lightened to a shimmering amber. The boy smiled as he inspected their pot of liquid gold.
Turning to his potions partner, Patroclus listened intently, “Yeah I think the other ingredients should be stir anti-clock wise too,” their minds were thinking a one, “Also the blood products should be added to a whirlpooling cauldron, meaning stir fast then add!”
Taking the pomegranate seeds, Patroclus held them over the caludron, “Ready for the seeds?”

Hmm, what? Lifting her head up to look at her friend when she asked something, Evelyn frowned for a moment, almost missing what the question was. Oh... "Perhaps about ten minutes. However long it takes for the puking pastille part to melt, which...it seems like it already is. Not long now." Nodding, she tore her gaze away from her friend, totally skipping the flame before going back to writing. Omg, flame.
Such a pretty flame. "When the puking pastille part melts... do you know a way we can take the bezoar out without burning ourselves?" There was no way it was going to be melting or anything of the sort in there now that she realized. They needed to find another way to incorporate it into the mix.

"Umm, well since it probably isn't going to melt..." First off though, she had to see if she was right on that part. Standing up from her stool, since she was still too short to just...look over, Evelyn switched her quill for the stirrer and stirred around the contents on the inside. Feeling the bezoar still at the bottom, and still quite stone-like, she pulled the stirrer out and put down on the side. "...we should do something else to it. Like, crush it or something."
It should be warm and soft enough to do that now right? It's been in the boiling water for a good half hour now. Seeing the puking pastille almost melted now too, Evelyn raised her wand and stopped the spell, making sure she was holding on to the top part of the little phial first though. "Finate." Moving it out of the way, the Slytherin sat back on her stool and pushed her own mortar and pestle closer to Destiny. "Can you scoop the bezoar out and put it in this, please?"
Hehe. She did say please after all...finally. "Then we can crush the bezoar..." With a clean mortar and pestle, "And put it back into the potion when it's good enough." Aaaaand, they could put the puking pastille thing in now. Raising the little phial over the cauldron, she let the melted contents pour into the mixture before keeping her hand there so the rest of the stuff could slowly drop out. 'Course, she didn't mind the steam. It actually felt nice. Hehe.

Add hellebore, stir clockwise
Shake Lemonade and leave lidless so to allow for all bubbles to escape.
Return cauldron to bubble, then add honey.

Mina smiled as she too glanced into the cauldron and nodded the colour change was a good sign for sure. Taking the stirring rod from her partner, she held it as she jotted down their observations.
Another smile gracing her face as she heard him agree with her idea of the counter-clockwise stirring. Great minds and all. "Okay, well with that decided, let's get to it," she replied as she waited for the seeds to be added.
As each seed hit the potion, she gave it a neat counter-clockwise stir. First seed...counter-clockwise stir...second seed...counter-clockwise stir...third seed...counter-clockwise stir...fourth seed...counter-clockwise stir...fifth seed...counter-clockwise stir...sixth seed...counter-clockwise stir...
Slowly, she removed the stirring rod and tapped it to get any liquid off it and head it over the cauldron. "Okay, now shall we move to the mint and fluxweed?" she asked. They were getting closer to being done really. Just the leaves, blood products and lemonade left.

Marie really wasn't the best at making up a potion put with the help of Carter she knew they would be able to come up with something here. Looking through all her notes she tried finding things that would help calm an upset stomach.
Not really sure what it was she was looking for she thought they should probably start with some water. "I think we definatly need to have water, a lot of it. We can use that as the base of the potion and as a rehydrating ingredient." Yes, the kneazle would need to be rehydrated after all the puking. "We could also maybe use a bezoar to counter act any poisons that may be in his system." Not that there should be much left in there with as much as he has been blowing chumks.
Dropping in the seeds one by one, Patroclus allowed Mina to stir the cauldron anti-clockwise. The potion for the time being seemed to be remaining amber, which Patroclus thought was good, it was a rather pleasant colour, and would possible make it easy for the Kneazle to contemplate taking.

The could always PULVERIZE the bezoar. At least then they would know that the cat wasn't going to choke on any of the big pieces. Merlin! Destiny didn't want to know what that cat would sound like with a piece of bezoar stuck in it's throat.
Pity bezoars don't melt. She wondered just how high the fire would have to be for it to melt. Unless it was just unmeltable..like Evelyn's shoes, hehe. Frowning when her friend said to crush the bezoar, with no mention of pulverizing, she picked up the spoon, and waited until she was done stirring around the potion..if that's what she was doing, Destiny didn't know.
When the phial was moved out of the steam, she lent over and stuck the spoon inside the cauldron. Now she had to try to grab the thing, and it was no help that Evelyn had said please. What if she was only being polite because this was some kind of trick, huh? No, Evelyn wouldn't do THAT..she hoped. With the bezoar FINALLY on the spoon, she carefully put it in the mortal that her friend had scooted closer to her. Grabbing the pestal, Destiny started to pulverize crush it, while Evelyn poured in the puking pastille. "Tell me when it's crushed enough, okay?"

"Mint will be good." Carter said flipping through his potion's book. He then closed it.
"You know, there's a few muggle things that may work. Whenever I sick when I was younger my mum would give me some clear soda - like sprite... or ginger ale - to drink." he said. Maybe they could use something like that.
"Also. There's muggle medicine called 'Pepto-Bismol' that's good for stomach problems and it helps with nausea too." he said.
He wondered what the chances of a Potions teacher of having those ingredients were though.

Mina handed the stirrer over and bit her lip in thought. It couldn't be as simple as just adding them all in at once, could it? No, there was no way it was that simple. Grabbing her potion journal, she flipped through ti and nodded before setting it down again. "I'm thinking we should add the Fluxweed leaves, stir twice, add the mint, stir once, and then add the oil of the Fluxweed," she suggested. It sounded feasible after all and then they could possible see how it was looking before the blood products could be added.
"You know we should probably went turn the heat down as well before we add the blood and lemonade," she added as she reached for the leaves and held them over the cauldron, ready to drop them.
