Leaning over to see what her friend was writing, she nodded her head when asked if one bezoar would be enough. "I'd hope so. It's not like the cat is that big. Do you think we should throw the whole thing in, it will dissolve, right? If the fire is hot enough maybe."
Oh gah! She shouldn't have said the 'F' word in front of Lafay. It might give her ideas.
"For the milk, we should add that last. We can add it to the potion after it is cooled off so it won't go bad being poured into a hot cauldron."
Destiny definitely didn't want to get the cat sicker.

Giving the quill back to Destiny, the Slytherin leaned her head against her palm a she stared at the list and thinking over what Destiny had said. How in the world were they going to deal with the bezoar? Did it dissolve? Well, they were going to just have to find out weren't they....
"I guess just stick it in there." she whispered, glancing around at everyone else before moving her attention back to the list. "On high heat, yea." If the thing didn't dissolve, then they could always just strain it out. Along with other parts that would probably be hard for the cat to chew or swallow. Or whatever was going to happen.
Oh yum, hot milk with the possibly horrible taste of potion. She was sure the cat would just loooove that. "Good idea." she agreed on the milk thing before moving down to the next item on the list. "Mint. Well, if we used mint leaves, those things can be quite strong sometimes so we don't need a lot." Just chewing on one of them would actually help sooth a stomach buuut... "How about if we chopped say, about 7 mint leaves and added them into the potion. With the...water? And let that simmer for awhile?" That should be enough of that right?
Gold looked up, at his face. No, that must have been a trick of the light, or something. He actually seemed pretty involved in the task they had to complete, here. Which would have been a surprise, if she hadn't come to know him so well, over the length of the term.
Xylon was intelligent. Even nice. Well, when he chose to be. Most of the time, he didn't choose that; so, you know, she couldn't exactly be objective and say he was. Nice, that is.
"We could set the stirrer to stir itself," she said, tones thoughtful. "But I think we shouldn't, when we're breaking up the Valerian." Professor Kazimeriz had always said that intent is important -- and the way you convey it across, equally so. Devoted stirring would infuse a part of their aim into the potion, itself. It would be a cause for better results, Gold was sure. She gave a little nod of her head, more to herself than Xylon.
"Two-directional, until the blossoms have disintegrated," she agreed. "It would be more efficient, that way."
"We'll let the water cool down a little, before we stir in the Milk of Magnesia," Gold said. Yes, stir in. "We can pour it in, and then let the stirrer work. Ten or so stirs should do the trick. We don't want to wait till the substance 'blends' because it's water-based in the first place, and we won't actually have a fair idea if it has, or not." Yes, ten stirs should be enough.
Unless Xylon a fair argument.
"We could add in the rest of the Fluxweed, then, followed by the Salamander blood," she suggested. "I think we should let the Salamandar blood blend on its own into the potion. No frantic stirring. It can work its own magic. But we could give the potion a final boil, to speed up the process."
She looked up at Xylon.
"... and, if we agreed upon that, that would be all, I think."
She gave him a smile, a small but warm one to show that she was glad for his help and insight, as she jotted down the rest of the procedure.

[energy, vitamins and minerals]
[] One bezoar, crushed
[to nullify the effects of any poison]

[] Four tablespoons of salamander blood [for strength]
[] Fourteen leaves of fluxweed, ground

Method:
[] Introduce the water in your cauldron.
[] Bring to a boil.
[] Add in the orange juice, and stir in one direction until it blends.

When she fell silent, he realized that they had actually agreed upon a procedure. That meant they were finally getting somewhere. Good. He looked down at her list and had to say one thing ----- Gold knew what she was doing. He had never been good at documentation. She apparently was. Of course he wasn't going to say that out loud.
"I don't think the cat would want to drink something that tastes absolutely horrible," he said. "We should add something fun. Like milk or sugar." Or whatever.

When she fell silent, he realized that they had actually agreed upon a procedure. That meant they were finally getting somewhere. Good. He looked down at her list and had to say one thing ----- Gold knew what she was doing. He had never been good at documentation. She apparently was. Of course he wasn't going to say that out loud.

But Gold couldn't say she wasn't glad they were getting along so well. They needed to, if they wanted to complete this final without blowing something up. So, laying down her quill to look up at him with calm, green eyes, she listed to his suggestion. He was right!
"I should have thought of that before," she said, with a little smile. "Good point." But there was a catch, here. Unfortunately.
"The problem is, sugar is out of the question. Cats -" and kneazles -- "Lack functional sugar detectors on their taste buds. They're there, but inoperative." In other words, sugar wouldn't help. "Milk is a no-go too, because vomitting means the body becomes relatively lactose intolerant. The kneazle will most likely vomit it right out."
She frowned, as if that could give her a solution to the problem. Chocolate. But that would be harmful, for a kneazle. "We could add some type of meat," she said, at last. "Crushed chicken, at the end, to give it a taste that the kneazle recognizes and likes."
She picked up the quill she had set down, as she spoke, and made a few changes in what she had written down, so far.
Then she looked up at him. "I'll bring the water to a boil, and crush the fluxweed leaves. You could prepare the mint and chicken, if you like." They had lots to do. Better get a start.

Xylon hadn't known any of that. Cats can't taste sugar? That was a surprise. Then again, she was the one who owned two cats (and was going to get another over the summer as he had gathered from all her happy rants). The only pet he had was a matcbox-sized turtle. It figured that he didn't know.
Plus Gold was a Know-it-all. A fiery, fashionable, redheaded Know-it-all but a Know-it-all nevertheless.
So.
"Chicken or fish," he agreed. It looked like they had settled on the former --- chicken -- and Xylon gave a short nod to show his approval.
The mint and the chicken. He could do that of course. Xylon measured out one ounce of mint, grabbed a mortar-and-pestle and got to work. Dropping the mint into the bowl, he slowly and methodically began to crush it. The moment he was done, he 'poured' the crushed mint out into a bowl and placing a lid type of item on it began to shred the meat. For someone who had no idea about cooking and kitchens, the final product turned out pretty nice.
"I'll measure out the liquids," he told her matter-of-factly. "You can go ahead and crush the bezoar."

Time to get the ingredients. Gold straightened up, and headed for the storage cabinet. She conjured a little pail, so that she could put in everything with perfect ease and, when sure that she had collected everything they would need, returned to the workstation that she was currently sharing with Xylon.
"Here you go," she said, as she placed everything on the table, neatly arranging bottles and bowls and other items, so that neither of them would have to go to a lot of trouble, to find something.
Finally, she set the cauldron, and filled it up. Not to the brim, of course. It was, she knew pretty well, never wise to do so. So she filled it about three-quarters of the way, glad that the water wasn't too much for the cauldron, or it might have come right up to the top.
She would have had to exchange the cauldron she and Xylon were working with, for a bigger one, then.
Incendio.
The fire beneath the cauldron was quite bright, the flames quite hot. Gold, satisfied that the water would have come to a boil quite soon, turned to her next task. The fluxweed. She counted out fourteen leaves, separated them in two equal bunches, each consisting of seven leaves, and placed one of these bunches in a mortar. With the help of a pestle, she began to grind the substance inside the mortar, watching the leaves break up into big pieces, and then smaller ones, as could obviously be expected.
She emptied the ground matter into a small container, and left the other seven leaves lie in their place, whole. There. Done.

Gold wasn't in her right mind, was she? She had actually complimented him. Come to think of it she had said stuff like that more than once throughout the past half hour.
He was soooo going to tease her about it later.
"Thanks," he said with a grin. "Good luck."
Eight standar-sized cups of orange juice. Xylon picked up a cup, filled it with orange juice and poured it into a larger bowl. Once twice thrice. A total of seven more times. The bowl was almost full by now. Xylon covered it too before reaching for the bottle labelled 'Milk of Magnesia.'

"Not really," he said in response to her question. "We'll measure those out when the time comes." He glanced at the cauldron as he spoke. It looked like the water had come to a boil. Didn't that mean something? He looked down at the instructions she had jotted down in her notebook. Golly it did! Xylon picked up the bowl of orange juice and tipped it.
The juice poured into the cauldron.
"Excito Orbis."

Gold picked it up with gloved hands, petted it and placed it carefully at the bottom of the mortar. Which she had obviously cleaned, after she had used it for the Fluxweed leaves. Picking up the pestle, she got to work. Crush, crush, crush. It took only ten minutes.
She looked up -- and her eyes waaaaiiiiidened! My, the water had begun to boil! Where was the orange juice?

"Thanks, Xylon," Gold said. Good thing Xylon had seen that the water had come to a boil. Of course, she hadn't been too late, and could have gotten the orange juice in there almost in time, but it was best to do things on perfect timing. She gave him a small but warm smile.
"Looks like the orange juice has blended," she said, as the colour of the mixture in the cauldron began to change. "You can see to the mint and bezoar, if that's alright, and I'll see to the Fluxweed," she suggested, as she used her wand to lower the heat, beneath the cauldron.
So far, so good.

She looked up -- and her eyes waaaaiiiiidened! My, the water had begun to boil! Where was the orange juice?
Phew.
"Thanks, Xylon," Gold said. Good thing Xylon had seen that the water had come to a boil. Of course, she hadn't been too late, and could have gotten the orange juice in there almost in time, but it was best to do things on perfect timing. She gave him a small but warm smile.
"Looks like the orange juice has blended," she said, as the colour of the mixture in the cauldron began to change. "You can see to the mint and bezoar, if that's alright, and I'll see to the Fluxweed," she suggested, as she used her wand to lower the heat, beneath the cauldron.

They hadn't blown anything up so far and that at least, was a huge relief.
"Sure," he told Gold as he reached for the Valerian blossoms. Roughly two handfuls. He brought his cupped hands right over the cauldron where he let go of the plant. It made a little splash as it fell into the cauldron but no potion was thrown out by it.
Oh no. More stirring.
He began to stir as 'vigorously' as he could. It took a while for the valerian blossoms to start breaking up but in time that did happen. Xylon continued his task, alternating directions at each stir. It was only a matter of time before the Valerian had disintegrated.
"I'm glad that bit is done," he told Gold.

"Do you think the cat would want a more watery potion, or a thicker one?" He was sort of thinking more watery than thick, only because cats drank water and milk. But Eustice was a weirdo and stole licks of ice cream, and that was on the thick side. Hm.
Ella nodded, then dropped the crushed bezoar into the cauldron. Surely if it was only a case of Fizzing Whizbees, then one bezoar would do the trick. But that wouldn't exactly be a big challenge for the class. Soooo.. they would continue.
Oh, so he didn't really agree with the muggle cat idea. Well, it was worth a shot. It probably would have been a good idea if that sort of thing was provided for them. "Okay. It was just a thought." She smiled, then took some of the knotgrass and chopped it up, before throwing it into the cauldron with the bezoar and water. Merlin, they were running out of ideas already. This potions exam was haaaaard!
Ella smiled when he said she was doing well. Really, it was him doing all the work and she was just nodding and smiling.. But she was tryyying to include herself. "Nah, you're the one who's doing great." She fought the temptation to kiss him on the cheek. No way, Potions class was not an appropriate place for that.
Uhm..
"My guess would be a watery potion." She shrugged. So, what would they use, other than water, to make it more liquidy? "Did you want to put more water in.. or something else?" She asked. Water would be quite pointless in her opinion. It's not like it had miraculous healing powers.
"Oh, and maybe we could add a peppermint. They calm down poorly stomachs, I think." She had definitely heard that anyway. Maybe her mum told her to eat one when she used to moan.

The sounds and..things that were coming out of the cat's mouth was finally getting to her, and if they didn't leave soon, someone was going to have to brew a potion for her.
She wouldn't take something another student brewed for her, especially if it was a Huffie. Destiny did not trust the Huffies.
Oh, the mint leaves were next. Picking up her quill, she wrote down the number seven. That seemed like a random number.."That sounds fine, I guess. It is hard to come up with potions to make." Not only was it hard, it was frustrating as well..especially when there was an obnoxious spewing cat in the room! "For the water, I figured we don't need that much or else it will just..muss up the potion and stuff. One and a half cups should be enough to coat the bottom. We should probably boil it, too."

Gold resisted the urge to tell Xylon to be more gentle. Letting go of something, right over a cauldron, like that could result in a big splash. Gld couldn't even begin to list the disadvantages of that.
But she stayed silent, only watching with interest.
His comment jerked her back to Planet Earth. She had gotten pretty lost in looking at the potion, to be honest. "You don't like stirring, do you?" Gold asked, though it was more of a statement than a question. His comment, coupled with the look on his face, said it all. She hadn't known, or she would have done this step, and let him do the next.
But what was done was done, now.
Six tablespoons of lemon juice. Gold measured out one, tipped it into the cauldron, measured out another, tipped that into the cauldron, continuing the exercise till the sixth spoonful had been dropped inside. The potion had grown lighter in both colour and texture now, a pale yellow-orange that was summer-like and pretty to look at.
"I like the colour," Gold said cheerfully, as she used her wand to increase the intensity of the flames beneath the cauldron.
The potion was on its way to a boil.

Longer ones, though, made her a little tired.

Their potion had turned PINK!
It was a light pink, though, and Gold preferred brighter shades of the colour. But still. PINK! It was PINK! She half smiled as she watched the contents swirl around in their container, little, circles of pinkish sheen, and then picked up the ground Fluxweed leaves. She knew their addition might change the hue, but it was something that was necessary.

She watched the ground Fluxweed leaves bunch up, but the stirrer's steady motion broke them up again. Before she knew it, they had blended into the potion, causing the pink hue it had recently been to fade into a light, light parrot green. It was floaty, a fun sort of shade.

Ingredients: [] 1 and 1/2 gallons water
[for the purpose of hydration]
[] Two handful of Valerian blossoms, whole
[as a sedative]
[] Eight standard-sized cups of orange juice
[energy, vitamins and minerals]
[] One bezoar, crushed
[to nullify the effects of any poison]
[] Six tablespoons of lemon juice
[anti-bacterial]
[] Four tablespoons of salamander blood [for strength] [] Fourteen leaves of fluxweed, ground
[agent of change]
[] One ounce mint, crushed
[curses nausea]
[] Two cups of Milk of Magnesia
[neutralizer] [] Half an ounce of cooked chicken, shredded

Method: [] Introduce the water in your cauldron.
[] Bring to a boil.
[] Add in the orange juice, and stir in one direction until it blends. The mixture attains a light orange colour.
[] Lower the heat.
[] Introduce crushed mint and the bezoar into the cauldron, one after the other.
[] Stir, alternating directions after each stir, until both ingredients have fully dissolved into the potion.
[] Introduce seven whole Fluxweed leaves into the brew. Stir purposefully, in one direction. The mixture is now a dark greenish-brown.
[] Add in the Valerian blossoms.
[] Stir vigorously, alternating directions at each stir, till the blossoms disintegrate.
[] Slowly pour lemon juice into the cauldron. The potion will acquire a yellow-orange sheen and hue.
[] Bring the mixture to a boil. [] Once the mixture has cooled down, stir in the Milk of Magnesia. Ten, uni-directional stirs will suffice.
[size=1]The mixture will turn a startling white, and then a light pink.
[] Drop in the rest of the Fluxweed leaves, and stir until they break up and blend into the potion. Direction of stirrer is unimportant, as the main reason is to prevent the Fluxweed from ‘bunching up.’ The pink will fade to a light parrot green.
[] Pour in the Salamander blood.
[] Boil the brew one, final time. Let cool.
[] Mix in shredded chicken, and alternate stirring until it dissolves.
[] Measure out a sample, and enclose it in a vial.

"You alright?" she asked Destiny after a moment or so. Her skin color just went from white...to green. Almost literally. Evelyn on the other hand, did not really care for the noises. She could stomach those. Smells on the other hand...not so much. Especially if they are too sweet.
"We should start soon....so you can get your mind off..." the disgusting noises. Yup. However, she did nod at what Destiny said. "One and a half cups seems good enough." They were making it for a cat, not a troll, so that seemed plenty enough water. "So we got the water, bezoar, mint, grass, we'll do the milk later...aaand, that just leaves the puking pastilles. Now, i never had one myself, but i know that the purple end of it is that part that is supposed to make the person stop throwing up."
Call it an experimentation she had on one of her tutors a few years back...and on her little brother. Pffft, nothing serious.
"But since the cat's body is like twelve times smaller then a human's, i suppose only a tiny portion of it would be necessary." Now the only problem was how to get the cat to eat that little portion of it. Or tell Lafay how to do it or something. That is, if their potion was good enough and to Lafay's standards or whatever.
"Well, just say...a fourth of the candy part. Should be enough. Now, that we have everything listed, how are we going to start off actually making the potion?" She had a few ideas, but she wanted to hear Destiny's first.
Mina smiled and quickly surveyed their list and jotted it down in her own journal. "That all sounds like it would work, no milk for sure," she added as she reached for their cauldron and sit int a top its stand. "Everything sounds moderately acidic and anything basic added might curdle in the potion."
At first thought, milk or cream sounded wise and the kneazle might like it, but seeing all that they were thinking of using, milk would probably only get the kneazle sicker. "Pomegrante and re'em blood? Yes, for strengthening. I like that." Yes, she picked a great partner for sure.
Hearing her Lionboy whispering, she smirked and shrugged her shoulder. "I'm sure desperate times, come to desperate measures," she whispered back. "It will work, I'm sure of it."
She wasn't not to really give up and she was once again pretty confident in her own and Patroclus' potion skills. Two heads working together and all.
"Thank you, I was starting to think people might completely forget like last term," she smiled as she glanced toward the storage room. Two people remembering was better than no one. "So, do you think we'll need anything else?"
Patroclus smiled at the girl beside him, impressed with her obvious potions knowledge. Gazing over the list once more, he pondered Mina's question, they were better off to be safe rather than sorry, "I think we have enough, what do you think, is there enough magical ingredients?"
The next big question the pair now had to ponder was quantities, how much of each thing, "I think we should start with water, just to ensure we have an easy admittable potion, I think about a litre to start." Decided the boy, lighting the burner beneath their cauldron.
Time was slipping away quickly they needed to get to work!

"Well, i think it would depend on the person." she said, opening her bag to get out her own notebook, quill, and ink. "Some people aren't able to handle a lot of sugar, and will probably end up getting sick. Like that cat. Or me. However, others seem to have black holes in their stomachs and are probably able to eat the entire Honeydukes shop in Hogsmeade in under an hour." Which was insanely gross. "Like you for example."
Now that she said that, she was soooo willing to not speak of candy for the rest of the day. Opening up her notebook, she quickly wrote down what they were doing before copying the list out of Destiny's notebook. "Right, getting the ingredients..." she repeated quietly before finishing the final word. "You get the milk, grass, and bezoar. I'll get the mint, water, and puking pastille part. We should only need a few tablespoons of the milk or so. Nothing too much."
Smiling at her friend, Evelyn stood up and went towards the cupboard that practically had everything in the world in it. Not before taking a quick glance at Patroclus though...and that girl. Mina or whatever her name was. Pfft.

Perusing the list Patroclus put forth some suggestions, “I think 3 drops of Re’em and the membrane and juice of one Bloodroot” the lion wondered if the blood would be able to be tasted by the poor kneazle. “ The leaves of 4 fluxweed plants, 6 pomegrante seeds and a teaspoon of honey…” The boy was just rattling off suggestions, he was quite certain that their potion was going to work, and the amounts so far were perfect.
“I am unsure about how much hellebore and moonstone, though…” Patroclus thought with those two they could play it by ear. Measuring a litre of water and pouring it into the cauldron Patroclus smiled, “To the cupboard!”

As Evelyn said some people can't handle sugar, Destiny wanted her to point someone out that couldn't so she could point to them and call them a wimp. However, when her friend went on to talk about black holes in people's stomachs, she widened her eyes and ALMOST let out a gasp. What..how did a black hole get into her stomach!? "Sweet Merlin, Evelyn! I'm going to DIE!" How was she able live with a black hole in there!?
She needed to lay off the chocolate before the black hole grew and consumed her WHOLE body!
She'd have to worry about that later, though, since they had a final to complete. "Milk, grass and bezoar." she repeated so she could remember. With long lists like that, she usually forgets things. Pushing off her chair, she headed to the cabinets, opening a few of them to find the grass. She didn't know if any other potion would use that stuff, but hopefully she would never have to drink it. She didn't want to eat anything her cat did. Next, she'd be stealing shoelaces, and, they just looked unappetizing.
Opening a cabinet waaaay up top, she was slightly surprised to actually find grass. Handling the jar, she examined it to make sure it was just regular grass and to make sure there were no bugs. The potion did NOT call for bugs. Pleased with the regularness of the grass, she placed the jar on a counter to find the bezoar. What did they look like again? She didn't know, but she did know where them things came from. Eww! She kinda felt bad for the people that had to go and retrieve them. What a horrible job. She found the bezoars in the cabinet and grabbing a good sized one, she placed that next to the jar of grass.
Now, just the milk. That stuff was gross..unless it had chocolate in it.
Walking to the fridge thing, she rummaged through it to find the..nasty milk. Gross. She was glad she wasn't a cat and had to drink that stuff. Grabbing the whole container, she picked up the jar of grass and bezoar before heading back to her table.
She just had to wait for Evelyn now, so they could start!

She gave him a little nod, her way to say that she could understand because, you know, sometimes stirring can get pretty exhausting. Especially if it has to be done for long times. Gold usually used spell-work to take care of it, but sometimes a potion requires you to do it yourself. She didn't mind, if it had to be done for short periods for time.
Longer ones, though, made her a little tired.
... and ZOMG!
Their potion had turned PINK!
It was a light pink, though, and Gold preferred brighter shades of the colour. But still. PINK! It was PINK! She half smiled as she watched the contents swirl around in their container, little, circles of pinkish sheen, and then picked up the ground Fluxweed leaves. She knew their addition might change the hue, but it was something that was necessary.

She watched the ground Fluxweed leaves bunch up, but the stirrer's steady motion broke them up again. Before she knew it, they had blended into the potion, causing the pink hue it had recently been to fade into a light, light parrot green. It was floaty, a fun sort of shade.

Xylon could see the excitement dancing in Gold's eyes. Pink. Girls seemed to love that colour infinitely. He had no idea why but he knew for a fact that Gold even used pink ink.
That was something he hadn't seen a lot of other girls do.
The pink of the potion had given way to parrot green. The shade was altogether lighter but more like him. Stereotypes aside, pink is kind of for girls. Ya know? Xylon thought so at any rate.
He filled a tablespoon with salamander blood and let it drip into the cauldron. Once twice thrice. Four times. The moment the fourth tablespoon had been emptied inside, Xylon set the potion to boil.
"Nearly there," he said.

Gold looked down, at her notebook. She had crossed out the steps they were past, as well as the ingredients that had already met a potion-y fate inside the cauldron.
My. Hard to read. She could tell they were going to need a proper, documented sheet to hand in, to Professor Lafay.
She decided to get to work on that, while Xylon measured out the Salamander Blood. Picking up a clean sheet of parchment, Gold dipped her quill in PINK! ink and began to copy down what she had written in her notebook, making little changes as necessary.
By the time she was half-done, the potion had begun to boil. Gold switched off the heat, to allow it to cool, and returned to her documentation. She could have sped up the cooling process with the help of wand-work, she knew, but she had a feeling that might tamper with the potency of the Salamander blood. Best not take risks.
Plus, this gave her time to wrap up the written work.

Gold looked down, at her notebook. She had crossed out the steps they were past, as well as the ingredients that had already met a potion-y fate inside the cauldron.
My. Hard to read. She could tell they were going to need a proper, documented sheet to hand in, to Professor Lafay.
She decided to get to work on that, while Xylon measured out the Salamander Blood. Picking up a clean sheet of parchment, Gold dipped her quill in PINK! ink and began to copy down what she had written in her notebook, making little changes as necessary.
By the time she was half-done, the potion had begun to boil. Gold switched off the heat, to allow it to cool, and returned to her documentation. She could have sped up the cooling process with the help of wand-work, she knew, but she had a feeling that might tamper with the potency of the Salamander blood. Best not take risks.
Plus, this gave her time to wrap up the written work.
Yep.
Gold looked up from her work, and gave Xylon half a smile. "Indeed," she said, as she emptied the bowl of shredded chicken, into the cauldron. This step required stirring, and he could do without more of that!
Clockwise stir, anti-clockwise stir. Clockwise stir, anti-clockwise stir. Clockwise stir, anti-clockwise stir. Gold looked down, into the inside of the cauldron, and gave a contended nod. The shredded chicken was beginning to blend in, disintegrate and dissolve.
AND the potion was changing colour, again. When she finally removed the stirrer, it was a pale blue, a colour that had a faint touch of shimmer to it, and was calming to look at. Like faraway oceans.

Brew a potion to treat a sick kneazle. Kneazle is vomitting.
Ingredients: [] 1 and 1/2 gallons water
[for the purpose of hydration]
[] Two handful of Valerian blossoms, whole
[as a sedative]
[] Eight standard-sized cups of orange juice
[energy, vitamins and minerals]
[] One bezoar, crushed
[to nullify the effects of any poison]

Looking down at the cauldron, Xylon was surprised to realize that this was it. The potion. It was complete.
Bending down ever so slightly, he inspected it. It was a pale blue, a soothing colour that pleased the eye. That at least was a good sign. Better than a potion that was electric green and belching out copious amount of smoke ya know. Or something else of that sort.
"Nice work," he grinned as he enclosed a sample in a vial. He taped a small section of the vial and labelled it.

Setting the vial down, Xylon looked up Gold. "Want to name the potion?" He asked. She would probably like that. Gold had a tendency to name everything, including the broomsticks they temporarily rode in flying lessons. That much probably everyone know by now.
He wondered what to do next. Were they allowed to leave now? The tall boy looked around, in search of Professor Lafay.
