Now it was his turn to stir. He stirred 10 times clockwise, then once counter-clockwise. He then stirred another 10 times clockwise, then another time counter-clockwise.
"I wanted to make sure it's mixed together really good." he said. You know, just in case Marie was wondering what he was doing.
He then looked into the potion. "It looks a little gross. Maybe we should strain it." he said. He was sure the little kneazle would appreciate not having to drink the little bits of knotgrass and mint that were floating around.
He then took the parchment and updated it.
Marie looked up from adding the last two ingredients only to see Carter's pink cheeks. Aww, she could still make him blush even after being his girlfriend for nine months.
"Sure, I can srain it. Once it cools that is." She looked around but didn't see a strainer anywhere near them.
"I'll be right back, I'm going to go find a strainer," she said as she walked off towards the cupboard. After several minutes of looking through the pantry she finally found what she was looking for.
Once back at the table she looked at the potion. It looked cool enough to strain now. Just to make sure though she waited another couple minutes and updated their parchment first. She then handed a phial to Carter.
"You can hold this while I strain the potion into it." She then put the strainer over the phial and ladled the potion into it.
Almost finished with another final.
