Ooh! Oooh! Eli waved his hand frenetically about in a pick-me sort of way. "Professor Gold! I mean Professor Laksh! Whatever! I have a question!"

He bounced up and down excitedly, straining to raise his hand so she would pick him. He wanted points and also chocolates. And he really did have a question, of course.

Nymphy wanted to go next, but he asked a question to be active in the class

"Professor....Lakhash is it? Ummm........what do muggles use to clean their bathrooms??" he said, wondering how ever they could do it without magic.

Lori beamed at the thought of a TOY alien and nodded. She would ask more about this birthday present after class, you know... Professor Goldie miiiiight just get a bit annoyed if Lori kept nattering. It wasn't HER fault necessarily.

She just liked talking to her best friend.

He looked up as Professor Lawson spoke to him, "Oh Merlin yes sir," he squeaked scrambling out of his chair as if it were on fire. He jumped up and snatched the pass from Professor Lawson and high tailed it out of the room room toward the bathroom.


He has walked back into the classroom without that uncomfortable pressure on his bladder. He plopped back down onto his beanbag and settled in for the lesson. He gave Destiny a funny look as she spoke. A turtle that breathed out of its butt! How cool was that. He had to find that turtle. He smiled as he thought about asking his dad for one of those turtles.

He raised his hand, "Professor Lawson can I go after Selena?" he asked.

"But Professor Laksh, I don't want to do your lines!" he said, having a frown on his face. Oh this class was so much fun, he couldn't wait until it was his turn to be up there and teach. "What do aliens have to do with the real world? Oh, and Wizards listen to the WWN for news and the like." he said, remembering her question to him.

Alex nudged him annoyed, "Just do the lines." Alex stated rolling her eyes annoyed. She didn't complain after reading the note now did she?

Marcus grinned from his position on his NEW bean bag thanks to the very awesome Patroclus for swapping with him. He nodded at both Fallon and Dillon, "Of course you can both have a go."

He turned his attention back to the front of the class where Gold was still standing. "Okay Miss Laksh, I think that will be enough for today. Five points for your very detailed presentation on Ben 10." He looked around the room and until he found the young Slytherin. "Okay Selena, it's your turn."

Fallon smiled at Professor student Lawson, who had moved bean bags after his last one...collapsed. She now had to figure out what she was going to talk about. She really hoped whoever was in front of her didn't take what she eventually decided on. Fallon smiled at Gold, I think that's her name..., and waited for Selena to start her 'lesson'.

Okay. She had definitely dozed off, because the next thing she knew, there were students standing at the front and she had NO idea what the hell was happening.

One thing was for sure, they were talking about...random things. So...yeah, that was good. Blinking away the confusingness from her eyes, Miranda turned her head as another student asked to talk next...which, made no sense to the Captain, but her hand went up in the air and before she could stop herself... "Sir, can I go next?" HEHEHE!


Now...to listen to the others and get a clue about what the hell this class was about. Snort.

Selena nodded and stood from her very comfortable spot on her bean bag. Rawrs. Okay... now... what should she do it on? Whatever came to mind first. She took a deep breath and smiled at the class. "Okay, so, I'm 'Professor' Selena Zabini-Riddle," she said, "And I'm going to talk to you about the the amazing muggle invention called the iPod," she said. First thing that came to mind was music, and music led her to her favorite muggle invention the iPod.

"The iPod is an electronic, portable music player designed by the brilliant company named Apple," she started. "An iPod can be connected to a computer and then with the use of a program from Apple, you can download music onto your iPod," she said, "the iPod has many different generations and Apple has even created something called the iPhone and the iPad. The three are pretty closely related," she continued. "At first, the device was a bit large and had no color, only black, white and shades of grey, but over time Apple has made it sleeker and far more advanced. In the beginning it was only able to hold songs, then it gradually led to games, pictures and now even videos, as a matter of fact, some iPods can even record videos," Selena said. She looked around to make sure no one was bored. Given, it wasn't as interesting as the Prefect's or Alex's, but she was trying!!! "If you like music, I suggest you get one, because it's small and easy to use, I mean, I haven't managed to make mine blow up yet, so I doubt you guys can mess up on using one," she said with a smile. Which was funny because she was good at that, making things blow up by accident. When she tried to do it on purpose... not so much...

"Questions?" she asked.

Alex raised her hand, "Does it work in Hogwarts? What color is the sky? How old is the Ipod?" Alex asked hoping to anger her friend. She smirked at Selena, payback.

"Professor!! What can they do besides music? Can they play the tellyvision shows?" he ask, not really bothering to raise his hand.

Resisting the need to glare at the two she smiled brightly. "Well, Miss Malfoy-Lupin, the iPod has worked for me in Hogwarts so far, except for battery is an issue because it does run out, but if you go to the Room of Requirement and ask that they have an outlet, it usually helps me charge it," she said patiently, "The sky right now is a very nice shade of blue, maybe you should decide on your own for that though seeing as everyone views the world through different eyes. And the iPod is pretty old, but they keep releasing newer ones, and modifying them so it depends on which one you are referring to," she said. Alex was dead after this.

She bit back a sigh and looked at Zane. "Well, Mister Hayes, the iPod nano, fifth generation, Chromatic, can record videos, I believe, as for the iPod touch, they can connect to the internet, store applications that can help you, like a dictionary or compass, and it also provides entertainment because you can download games on it," she explained, "The iPod can store television shows, but you need to purchase and download those first and only if they are available and compatible with the iPod, because some of them, for example the iPod Mini, cannot store videos," she finished. She elt smart. But he called her professor and made her feel old... ugh. She now understood why some professors were always so angry now.

Marcus eyed Miranda warily, he really hoped that the girl had gotten over her brain malfunction and she wasn't going to get up in front of the class and be silly. "You can go after Dillon." He made sure to give her a warning look before focusing his attention on Selena's presentation.

Raising his hand in the air and making sure not to put it so high this time, he didn't need to pull another muscle. "Professor, is Apple the only company to make this sort of electronic device?"

If so they would be raking it in without having any competitors.

Alex rose her hand again, "Professor Zabini-Riddle, is it true muggle items such as I..thingy can't be played in Hogwarts? And How old are you? And How long has Apple been around?" Alex asked knowing she was going to be killed by Selena.

"Uh....you mind explaining that in terms to where us simple-minded folks can understand it? Like, what makes an iPod a nano or a mini? What is a downlod thingy? and what's the Enter-net thing?" he asked, this time polietely raising his hand.

Destiny was TOTALLY lost at what this girl was talking about. It had something to do with music and an Ipouch-a-pod, but she still didn't understand. She absentmindedly rubbed her forehead, trying to take in all this new and crazy information.

That didn't help much.

She raised her hand high, waving it about to get the girl Professor's attention, "Professor..person! Is this company a REAL apple, and if so, has anyone tried to EAT it?" That's what this company gets, for naming themselves after food. At least it wasn't named pie..or CHOCOLATE. "Ohhhh! And what is a compyoutator?"

Muggle words, pshaw.

Selena turned to look at the professor. "Well, Mister Lawson, no one else makes the iPod other than Apple, however there are various other MP3's, portable music players, that have been created by other companies, such as Sony, they create music players as well, and the iPod came after all the other MP3s, so they seem more advanced and the design is much more appealing to people," she answered.

She then looked at Alex. "Some muggle items cannot be played in hogwarts, I think it has to do with the magic about the school that can throw off many of the electronics. I am not answering any questions that do not have to deal with the lesson," she said. "And Apple has been around since 1976, founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne," she added. She glanced around.

Marie had been sitting there on the couch just listening to everything that was going on. She really didn't find the subject very interesting so she had decided not to participate in the conversation. She had been fascinated by watching Student Lawson give the professors a hard time though.

Once he said the next student could come speak she decided to tale that opportunity to move to the floor... right next to Lawson. Yep, she was going to stay as close to him as she could.

Sliding off the couch she inched her way over to him not even realizing that she was able to move her left arm. That is until she was sitting right next to him and had put BOTH her hands in her lap... and the saw wasn't in her hand.

Looking around she seen it was laying just a couple of feet from her. Hmm, funny she didn't even realize she had let go of it. Must have been focused on sitting next to her new favorite student. Leaning forward she grabbed the saw then placed it on Lawson's lap. "I believe this belongs to you." Yep, he could have it back, she wanted nothing to do with it anymore.

WAIT!

Muggle gadgets don;t work at Hogwarts.

Raising her hand Marie asked, "How is it that YOUR ipod works at Hogwarts when it is a known fact that muggle gadgets do NOT work within the school." Mmhmm, explain that one.

Alex giggled at Selena's reply, "Muggle Electrics don't work in Hogwarts Professor so yours can't work here unless it's running purely on magic." Alex repiled amused. "Because magic does interfer with the electesic items.. but it is powered by a competter so maybe it's not Electirc but will run out of juice." Alex was proud of herself for solving that mystery.

Hand still in air, Miranda STARED at Professor Lawson, waiting to hear him say yes or yes, or yes on wether she could stand and speaketh later on. But the look he was giving her made her want to squint. And she did. Squint. Hm...maybe she could talketh of brain malf- no. Better not. But after some more INTENSE staring, she grinned. "Awesome! Thank you, sirrRrrrrr!" RRrroll of the tounge.


Ooooooooooooooh, IPODS!
"Professor, miss," she raised her hand, a look of confusion, "If that is an EYE Pod...are ther also NOSE pods and other body parts Pods?" Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

"Well, Mister Hayes, they are determined by their functions and are named so because the iPod mini was considerably smaller than previous ones, then they did get smaller, the nano came afterwards, half the size of a mini," she said patiently. "The internet is a system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Internet Protocol Suite to serve billions of users worldwide. It is a network of networks that consists of millions of private, public, academic, business, and government networks of local to global scope that are linked by a broad array of electronic and optical networking technologies and it carries information on various topics," she said.

She then turned to Destiny. "Miss Shepard, the company is not a real Apple, it is just the name they have chosen, for reasons I do not know of," she said. "I suggest you do not try to eat it seeing as they have branches all over the world," she added. But it would be interesting to watch her try to eat it... "The computer is a machine that contains data," she said simply.

"Then perhaps there was a charm placed on it," she said simply. After all, her father had gotten it for her and who knows what he did to it. "And Miss Malfoy-Lupin, if you know the answer to a question, don't ask," she said. Alex was annoying her... on purpose... and she knew it.

And for the Finale, "Your just being mean to me because I figured out how your.. Thingy works.." Alex grinned amused. She rose her hand, "Can you use Ipods to say hit someone?" Alex asked obviously not being serious.

"Uh, Professor ZR...I'm sorry, Zanbini-Riddle's just a mouthful to say, I don't get it. You're using a lot of muggle words and I'm kinda slow." he said, shrugging his shoulders.

Oh..

That was boooooring! Destiny was hoping the company was a HUGE engorgioed apple. How SWEET (hehe) would THAT be!?

She could make the biggest apple pie EVER!

And, of COURSE, she would eat it all by herself. She would never share pie with someone. Unless that person was Evelyn..or Marie. She nodded her head in understanding, when she still had NO idea what the girl was talking about. "What kind of 'data' does this compyoutator have? Is it like secret spy stuff?" If it did, Destiny would soooo get one!
