Marcus had found himself a nice big squishy looking bean bag and took a small running jump at it and landed with a loud thump, followed by a popping noise.

He watched with amusement as the foam beans started to roll out of the now split bag.

Oh he was supposed to be listening to the NEW Professor. He immediately raised his hand, "Um excuse me Miss Malfoy-Lupin can you repeat that? My bean bag popped and I just missed what you said."
Haha, that was too cruel even for him.
"Nah, I'm just kidding ya. But I have a question. What does this Professor say about pregnant women? Don't their taste buds change when they are pregnant?"
If that wasn't true then his wife had some very weird taste buds then.
Marcus gave Gold a wink and then looked around for another bean bag to sit on because his was broken.
He raised his hand again, "Excuse me Miss, but can I change seats? I don't like this one anymore."

Gold placed a hand on her mouth, she was trying that hard not to laugh at Professor Lawson's actions. Her eyes twinkled, and she suddenly realized something - he was a student, now. Well, a temporary student, but still! Professor Lawson = Student Lawson = Ideas!
Yes, ideas. Gold quickly tore a page out of her notebook, scribbled something on it, scooted closer to Professor Lawson, and passed it to their ONCE Muggle Studies teacher. Mwaha! Passing notes in class!

Alex pulled out her wand, "Accio Note." She stated simply opening it up and rolling her eyes, "No note passing in my class Prefect.." Alex added before turning to the class, "Any more questions?" She asked eyeing them.
Xylon raised an eyebrow. "I believe it doesn't, ma'am," he said. His voice was polite. There were races the world at large barely knew, America didn't 'contain' them. There was also the fact that, even if it had contained a few of every race those people would have been seasoned by the States and not their homelands. So yes flawed study.
But he lowered his hand and pretended to be jotting down what the new 'professor' had said.
When was Gold going to come up?

"And if those statistics are correct then that would make me a non taster because I only like sweet things." he shifted around on his bean bag...well actually he was now sitting on the floor because all the beans had gone from the bag.
Well that sucked! Who would want to be known as a non taster? He wanted to be a SUPERTASTER!!!
Because that sounded so much cooler.

Marcus took the note from Gold and gave her a suspicious look before unfolding it and he just had time to quickly read what it said before the Professor STOLE it from him. He chuckled softly and then quickly whipped out some parchment of his own.
Well he actually stole it from the kid sitting next to him but he was sure they wouldn't mind. And then wrote back to the Prefect.

Mmhmm, Evelyn was in a horrible mood. She forgot to take the potion the night before, resulting in very limited sleep, plus she was hiding the stupid hammer under her cloak in her lap, her black eyes itched horrible which she COULDN'T itch since her hands were stuck and all, and Lawson...
Well, she wouldn't get into that.
So, sitting next to her friends, the Slytherin listened to the others speak as she stayed, not surprisingly, silent. For one, she was still trying her hardest to get the hammer unstuck from her hands. They would not BELIEVE how she was able to feed herself this morning...
On the bright-side though, she was able to twitch a few fingers!! MWaha!

Gold chuckled, as Professor Lawson read her note. It had been easy, to slip him that note. Or so Gold felt, until the note had suddenly risen into the air, and headed for Professor Malfoy-Lupin. Such as the fact that the note had been robbed.

She had slowwwly picked up Professor Lawson's response as she spoke and, quickly opening it now to read it, Gold vanished it at once. "Fiiine," she whispered, to Professor Lawson. "Do you think the new Professor will take off points from our houses, if we continue to talk?"

"To answer your question I guess she didn't do a trial with pregnant women because during the times they were pregnant and weren't such they're taste buds would have completely changed thus throwing off the test results." Or it could be inaccurate, for example, portions given might not be exactly the same, so would the results be inaccurate?" Selena asked. "And since they were given different foods what happens if one of the subjects had a reaction to it unknown to the scientist?" she added. She didn't even know what she was talking about. But if it would make Alex mad... she wanted to see.

Jordan scowled, this chick was uptight! He'd hate for her to be his actual teacher, points off for everything. Wait what were points? Oh yeah marks... for each house. Hmmm. He shook his head at her, she needed to relax or no one would pay attention. Well he wasn't going to if she kept this up.
Alex glaced at him, "Yes well I believe you deserved it but I can't have that distracting my class." With a wave of her wand and a muttered finite the pink hair was gone returning the brown mop of hair that Zane had. "Yes, any more questions about the subject before I turn this class over to.. uh Prefect.." Alex didn't know teh Gryffindor prefect.
"Thank you professor, the one that had cast it wouldn't undo the spell." he said, smiling.

Busted again. He had been so much better at this when he had been a teenager. Obviously his reflexes weren't as quick anymore.

Her head popped up, when Professor Malfoy-Lupin spoke again, however. "Gold," she supplied, cheerfully. Since ze 'professor' did not seem to know her name. That was a surprise, to be honest. Pretty much everyone around here knew her name. Maybe because she was a Prefect.
She leaned in, to whisper to Professor Lawson. "Looks like she heard us," she said, in those low, low tones that are all hush-hush and cool. "Trust me, you weren't. Compared to Professor Malfoy-Lupin, you deserve twenty-six medals for being nice and kind and fun." She felt a twinge of unhappiness, as she said that. She had heard Professor Lawson was going to leave, and she wasn't happy about that.
To shake her thoughts off this, Gold resumed her drama queen act by burying her head back into her arms in a look-at-me-I-am-soooo-upset sort of way. That was, until Professor Lawson said it was her turn. Gold nodded, rising to her feet. She had done her best to annoy Professor Malfoy-Lupin, and she wondered if this was time for payback.
Oh, well.
She headed to the front of the class, and nodded to Alex. "May I take over?" She asked, politely.
OOC: Editinggg because I missed a few posts, and Alex is still ze professor. So, whenever she's ready to allow Gold to take over, I shall post again. =]

Alex asked turning towards him her eyes wide hoping it was a loud no she wasn't allowed to actually remove points. OOH she was relived! Alex flew to her sit and smiled innocently. Alex nodded afterwards pointing to everyone and giving Gold a begging look, "I hate teaching." Alex told her after a moment of just sitting. "Oh, and I'm a Slytherin.. uh Prefect Gold lying to me just makes it worse." Alex told her from her spot safely over next to Zane, she was so giving the Professor everything she had.

Wait wait wait. Frowning, the Slytherin looked to her other side towards Destiny before leaning in to talk to her. "She isn't...really aloud to take points is she?" she asked quietly, hoping to Merlin that wasn't the case. Nah, Lawson wouldn't allow that.

This class was officially INSANE.
Destiny sat back on the sofa watching as Crazy Lawson flopped around on a beanbag like a fish out of water. When he popped it, she couldn't help the little laugh that escaped. It was kinda funny.
Probably because Lawson was all OLD and he was acting like he was a child. Pfft, Destiny was more mature than him..
Okay, that was a lie.
She listened to the student Professor person speak about something, not really knowing what she was talking about. She did, however, hear her taking points off of Evelyn.
Noooo way!
They could take off points!?
She looked at Evelyn, and shrugged, "I dunno. But if we can, I soooo want to go up there again!"

Nodding at Alex, Marcus thought it best to speak up before the kids tried to do something to her. "Only I can deduct points. I may be temporarily playing a student right now but I am keeping an eye on the rest of you."
He gave Alex a round of applause as she took her seat, "Very well done Alex. Five points go to you for your well researched presentation."
Marcus then turned towards Gold, "I do believe you're up Miss Prefect."
