Patroclus could do noting but watch wide-eyed as the Real Professor dealt with the weeping Purple headed boy, Patroclus racked his memory to see if he knew his name, but surmised that it was Eli, as he was sure it was not Destiny, Evelyn or Marie. “Take all the time you need Axe...I mean Sir” Mwahahah Power trip!
“And Destiny yes, lots of people died, but we can’t say one side was good and one was evil.” He smiled at the Slytherin as she stood to leave, “I can tell you all about the Turtle Wars another!” Sure he was talking about the Trojan War, but he thought he could make up something funny about the Turtle Wars too.
Turning Back the remaining class Patroclus acknowledge he other answers. “Alex I think it is? That could be seen as a very simple explanation, but yes it is true.” Patroclus sighed a little put off by the first year’s lack of enthusiasm.
But once again it was Gold to the rescue! “Ten points for Gryffindor Miss Laksh, I am very impressed with your knowledge of the Trojan War.” Turning to the rest of the class, the Lion continued, “As detailed by Gold, The Greeks, or Achaeans as they were known at the Time, smuggled their way into the City of Troy in the bowels of a Wooden Horse, the symbol of the Sea God Poseidon, a Trojan favored deity. In the dead of night they issued from the horse, and in a rage of steal and fire ended the 10 year War!”
Patroclus hoped he was still engaging the small percentage of the class he started with! “Now I have to option we can do! ONE I think it would be fun if with the use of the bean bags as a mat, we try building a human Trojan Horse, or TWO using the bean bags we stage our own re enactment of the battle of Troy, using the beanbags as weapons, and the couch pillows as shields! What do we choose??”
OOC. The pillows are very soft and so too are the bean bags, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY any one will get hurt, in either game. So have fun and BATTLE!
Alex backed away, "I think that'll end horribly wrong." Alex stated raising her hand, "We already have three.. four students that got sent to the office and everyone is a little insane, who knows what might happen." Alex added on the end agreeing with the female prefect and how did this Gryffindor know her name? hmm.. Zane and Selena must of said it.
He had stepped down, Patroclus had taken over and ------ those Slytherin girls and that purple-haired boy who Gold seemed to have adopted (he needed to tease her about that) were suddenly fighting. It was getting a little mean but not enough to actually make Xylon very concerned.
Then the chaos totally escalated and Professor Lawson had left with the purple-haired kid and the Snakes.
Ehz?
Xylon raised an eyebrow at Patroclus's suggestion. Coming so soon after Lawson had departed with a van of troublemakers in tow, it sounded like it could cause even more trouble. "Sounds fun but it might stir up trouble," he said, raising a hand. "If there's more of that, I might just go mad...... professor," he added, realizing he had been speaking to Patroclus like he was a classmate and not a professor.
He still had no idea how everything had happened.
But he knew it had happened fast.

Jessica's time on SS is now limited thanks to that big and BAD thing called real life
She had no idea what had happened, or how. There was what her mother said, every time she and Sachie, or she and Lavonne, laughed more than was usual for them - 'Cut it out, before one of you starts crying.' So THIS was what it truly meant. Too much fun = tears.
Or chaos, at any rate.
"Of course you have to go next," she said, placing a warm, gentle hand on Eli's shoulder. "Eli, you shouldn't -" Oh GOD, he was crying. Next second, Professor Lawson had taken over again, and Gold realized how unfair it was that something that he had meant for their benefit, something that had been supposed to be fun for them, had to turn out this badly for the Muggle Studies Professor.
She bit her lip as she thought this, jerked out of her sudden landslide of thoughts only when Professor Lawson spoke again.
"Of course, sir," she said, at once. "I'll make sure everything stays fine, until you come back."
Which was when Eli slipped something into her hands -- a note. Gold opened it, all quickly, and saw what was inside. "You'll be fine," she managed to whisper to Eli, as he left the classroom. "Trust me, Professor Lawson won't let anyone say anything to you." She wished there was a way she could say more, comfort the poor kid, but then he was gone, had followed Professor Lawson out of the classroom.
Right.
Time to act normal. Because Gold knew she couldn't run after Eli, even though she wanted to.
Lord, NO. Gold's hand shot up into the air. She was no longer the disruptive student, here. She couldn't afford to be, right now.
"With all due respect, sir, I think option number two could end up badly, given the present condition of the class and its inhabitants." Translation: Who knew what further chaos and drama it could create? "I don't think we should be taking chances. I believe it would be safer, and just as fun, to consider only on option number one."
They could fix up the bean bags later, if they had to because of that. Magic would be handy, there. But Gold was seriously not willing to take part in a full-blown fight, even if they only got to use soft-ish pillows. Someone might hit someone in the eye, or trip someone over, or decide to use the commotion to cause another argument, or maybe another scene like the one that had just happened. They couldn't be too cautious.
ESPECIALLY, right now.

Gah! Everyone was a critic!
A tad disheartened Patroclus resigned to the fact that his fun lesson would not be allowed to happen.
"O.K. Well considering some think the Trojan Re-enactment sounds like a bad idea, we will just have to make the Human Horse Pyramid! To do this we will need a few spotters to help people onto each others backs and also to catch anyone falling! So come on everyone! Up we get, stronger students to the bottom and small ones wait to climb to the top!"
Patroclus grabbed the left over beanbags and used them to pad the floor, still upset that they weren't going to have the pillow fight

Mina looked up and blinked. They were going to make a what? Why would anyone want to make something out of bodies? Muggles were strange, it was final.
Raising her hand, she waved it about. "Professor Hudson, where exactly do I go?" she asked. There was no way, she was going near the bottom and she didn't completely trust but a handful of the students there to hold her up, if she was near the top. Seriously, if she trusted anyone, it was probably mainly her fellow third years and above.

Alex really backed away feeling like running out of the door, "Noooooo way." Alex told him firmly, "I am not standing on anyone's back whats so ever." Alex protested this loudly, she prefered the other idea!
Gold could see Patroclus's ideas going right down the drain. It looked like most of the students had been strained enough by the chaos that had sprung up a while ago, to back off.
Now Gold had never allowed anyone to climb on to her back. The sole exception was Aaron, who had initially clung to it without her permission, and who she had then let cling. Because he was her Keeper Rose. Hers. But Keeper Rose was - would always be - different. He was twelve, and he was one of her favourite people. Most of the students in this classroom right now, on the other hand, didn't even make it near her list of favourite people, because she only knew most of them by sight or name.
But she knew Patroclus wanted them all to have fun, and he must be pretty disappointed by their lack of enthusiasm, already. So she raised a hand, "I guess I can give people a hand up," she said. She gave Patroclus - Professor Hudson - a smile. Which faded when she saw Alex's reaction out of the corner of one, big, green eye. Eh. She looked from Patroclus to Alex, and back again, before raising her hand again.
"If it makes people more comfortable, I can conjure chairs, sir," she offered. That way, nobody would have to climb on anybody's back. Less chance of people accidentally letting go, or of people losing balance.

That was as much as she could do, to help.
Patroclus was utterly depressed, his lesson was burning all around him. No one as enthused about anything, but due to never give up attitude he was not going to let it get him down!
Changin tack again, he tried to get the class alive again, without them having to touch each other, trust each other, and as it was becoming evident like each other. Patroclus found it quite a sad fact that, even though they were one school everyone was so unwelling to put house squables, and friendships aside just to have a bit of fun. Oh well!
"No thank you Miss Gold it is OK, seeing as though no one seems very keen on roleplaying games, we are going to play a game of Celebrity Heads, but using the names and attributes of the Gods and Goddess worshiped by Muggle during the Trojan War!
To those of you wishing to take part, I will ask you to sit under the board here, and I will write the name of God or Goddess above you, and you will have to work it out with Yes or no style Questions!
Say I was Zeus, I would go, am I male, Yes, am i a weak god, No, am I assiociated with water, No, do I have a wife, Yes, am I Zeus! TADA!

Who wants to play?
Please someone say yes!
From the back of the class, Emmy raised her hand, and spoke. "I'll play!" actually, she quite enjoyed reading Greek Mythology, so maybe this wouldn't be too bad...

Oh, that sounded like fun. Safe fun, to be exact. Gold raised a hand, at once. "Me, Professor!" she said, cheerfully.
Though, of course, the game sounded like a muggle one. She hadn't played it before this way, at any rate. Something similar, yes, but never this. Which was why Gold did not lower her hand after her cheerful response, but instead said, "Sir, could you please elaborate on the rules?"
Maybe tell them if each of them would be assigned a different celebrity, or if there would only be one celeb to focus on, for all of them. Stuff like that, that Gold wasn't very sure of.

Okay, so they weren't doing the human pyramid thing now? That was seriously fine with Mina though, but this other thing she was cool with.
Raising her hand, she smiled. "Me! Professor Hudson. I want to play!" she replied. Games were fun and since it didn't involve climbing on each other, she was so in.
Hearing Gold, she nodded. Yeah, maybe some rules would be nice. She was a fan of mythology, but how did this game work and all?

Finally! Success!
Patroclus beemed as he first saw one hand go up, then another and another! If wasn't currently the teacher, Patroclus would have laid down and done the On-Your-Back-Turtle Dance, but there would be time for that later, now more rules!
"It would be my pleasure Prefect Laksh! I will give each player a god or goddess, and you will ask me Question to which I will say yes or no, and by those answers you will be able to widle down the list of possible suspects!"
Patroclus hoped that was a good enough elaboration, if not they would just learn as they went!
"If you three would like to come to the Front" Patroclus smiled at the students with raised hands! He moved three Beanbags under the board, "A bag for you Mina, One for you Gold, and I am soory but I don't know your name, we are?"

Righto.
"... and we have to think of only Greek gods, right sir?" Gold asked. She wasn't sure, to be honest. She knew exactly how to play the game now, courtesy Patroclus's excellent explanation, but she didn't know which gods and goddesses they would be focusing on!
She skipped up to the front of the class, and sat down. She felt like she was under the spotlight now, hehe.

"Yes, Gold we will just be using Greek Gods!" Professor Hudson smiled at the girl, " Well take a seat Emmy, and we shall begin."

"When ready girls.........."
Mina smiled and nodded. Oh, she was ready for this game. It kind of sounded like the one Carter and her were playing by the front gate. Hopefully it would be just as fun.
"Am I a female?" she asked. It was simple and they were to ask yes or no questions, right?
Hmm. Okay, lets start with a simple one... "Am I male or female?" That should give her at least something to work from - hopefully...

The First Questions!
The game was underway!
But they was structured a little wrong, "Your questions have to be structured so I can only say yes or no! But I will let you have this one! You are both Female! So remember every Yes and No questions only!"
Patroclus smiled, he hoped these instructions were clear now!
"Sorry! I didn't catch that bit before!" Hmm. So, I'm a goddess, am I? Well, that's good, for starters...
Next question time... "Am I... A beautiful goddess?" Hopefully this would set her well on her way to... Points!

OOH. Fun! Gold was as ready as she could be, for the game to start. When Professor Hudson gave them to go-ahead, she was about to put forward her first question, when something struck her.
"I'm not representing a god or goddess, am I, sir?" she asked. "I mean," she went on, "Should I use 'I' when I ask the questions, or 'the god or goddess'..." She trailed off, unsure if her question made sense. Oh, well. She could explain her meaning, with another question!
"Is my - or the god's or goddess's, whatever I'm supposed to use here, sir - beauty regarded as a universal truth?"

Mina nodded. Okay, she was a goddess at least. That was a start. Tilting her head, she thought for a moment. "Am I a associated with nature?" she asked. There were a good few goddesses and she need to narrow it down as quickly as she could.

Patroclus smiled, Emmy had got it, "No need to apoligise, and and this is a hard one, I will say No, as you are not the most beautiful! I hope that makes sense" the Boy professor nodded, allowing the girl to think on his statement.

Like, say, Aphrodite or Apollo's.
Thank Merlin for Gold, she had brought up a question Patroclus had not answered, "Gold you are, the God or Goddess, so your Question would be 'Am I regarded as a Universal Truth?' to which I would reply Yes."
Patroclus could see he had a worthy challenger in Gold

Mina's question was just as good as the others, she was narrowly down the realms, "No" Patroclus replied with a smile.
Emmy thought for a while - that still left her with at least two obvious possobilities - but how to narrow it down?!
"Am I... A goddess of marriage?" I just hope I'm on the right track...

Patroclus was impressed Emmy was powering through, "Yes" Patroclus replied, knowing the young Hufflepuff was one name way from guessing correctly!
Emmy beamed, delighted with herself, and said, "I that case... I may be wrong, of course, but... By my deductions, that makes me... Hera?" she finished hesitantly, hoping against hope that she'd got it right.
