Muggle Studies 2 Professor Lawson had gotten up extremely early to prepare the room for the days lesson. He made sure that every tool was in its proper place and that each work area was clean and all safety guards were in place. He knew that he was taking a huge risk in letting the students whom he was sure that probably half of them had never even seen a muggle tool before let alone try and use one. Before opening the door, Marcus took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. This was going to be an interesting lesson. He threw open the door and stood back to let the students file in. "Please come in and take a seat. Keep the chatting to a minimum and DON'T touch anything." ooc: This class will start in approx 9 hours. So just RP your charrie taking their seat and I ask that you please keep the chit chat to a minimum. |
Ella walked into the Muggle Studies classroom with a curious expression. It looked very... different in here, but interesting at the same time. Muggle-related things always interested Ella, but she wouldn't deny that it was weird. "Hello professor." She said kindly and took a seat in the middle of the classroom. She didn't know what to expect from the Muggle Studies lesson today, but maybe it could be fun.. |
Patroclus was very excited for Professor Lawson's latest Muggle Studies Lesson. After the small note on the end of last classes homework, to bring construction instructions, Patroclus had been waiting with increasing desperation for the class to commence, and at last it was. Moving into the classroom, Patroclus expectation were exceeded by the vision before him. Tools littered every bench, and the smell of saw dust filled the air. Seeing the teacher in the center of the room Patroclus expressed his overwhelming sense of joy, "Morning Sir, I am so, so, so Pumped for this lesson". He moved to a desk with his building plan tucked under his arm. |
Luna sat down in her seat and got ready for her Muggle Studies Lesson. "Good Morning Professor Lawson, I'm so ready for this lesson!" Luna greeted. Professor Lawson was one of her favourite teachers and she loved this subject. Luna was very excited to see what this lesson would bring. |
Entering the classroom, Jake was just a little shocked by the sight and the smell of powertools and workbenches. Ew. Hard work. The boy went ahead and took a seat, watching Lawson carefully. "Don't ttttouch anything?" he repeated. And he really couldn't help it. Jake reached out at the nearest tool, some kind of wrench thingy... and touched his fingertip to it. Bahaha. |
Gabrielle walked into the classroom and speak "Good day, sir" and pulled out a quill, a piece papier.Gabrielle than waiting for a professor enters a task. |
Mina walked into the classroom and looked around quickly. Yes this was definitely different. "Hello, Professor Lawson," she smiled as she made her way fully into the room and over to a seat. The thought of actually working with her hand and muggle tools really hadn't entered her mind even though she figured that was what they were doing, until she saw all the strange tools around her. Pulling her plans out, she set them beside her quill and notebook. Yes, this was going to be interesting for sure. |
Celandine arrived in class with her chosen plan thingy. Not that she knew precisely what it was for and stuff, but she'd followed the instructions and brought one at least. She looked around curiously, expression briefly puzzled before she relaxed. Kind of looked like the dungeon at home. |
Okay so maybe she felt like she was late because she was still looking for for what to create for this lesson. But, now that she did, she definitely did NOT run to the class and slow down around the corner to compose herself before walking to the classroom. "Hello Professor." she mumbled quietly as usual, not really all that smiley today before walking into the classroom...and stopping. Wow. This...looked...like a torture chamber. Hmm, best to perhaps stay close to the door... |
Whoa! "Good day, Professor Lawson," Gold said, a big roll of parchment tucked under an arm, and her bag shouldered over the other. She looked round the classroom, taking everything in with bright, green eyes, before figuring out where she wanted to sit. This lesson seemed like it would be fun. Rawwr. |
Nymphy sat down and got out his bird house. He had written speically his father to send him one. His father was a Muggle and lived next to a Walden-mart.....or something like that. he would know the perfect one to pick out. Plus, this gave Nymphy a chance to show his father that wizards did muggle things too......(even if only in class, but no one is telling his father) |
"Hey, Sir Lawson!" The young 'puff said cheerfully as she skipped past the professor and into the classroom. Her eyes scanned the entire room as she took a seat in the front. She was excited about today's lesson, she loved to build things. Or atleast, that's what she told herself growing up playing with legos and other building toys. She knew there was a big diffrence, but she didn't think the task would be too hard. Her hands in her lap, she swung her legs and gazed at all the tools, trying her best not to touch them. |
Emma entered the room. Woah! It's changed a lot in here!, she exclaimed. She smiled, "Hello Professor Lawson!" she greeted, as she took her seat. She got her books out and quills. She was ready. |
Noir walked into Muggle Studies classroom..she looked around and gasp..she saw so many muggle tools in the classroom.."Hello Professor Lawson" she smiled.."This lesson is going to be interesting" she thought..she looked around to find a seat.. |
'Hello, Professor!' said Maddie cheerfully, nodding at Lawson. She looked around at the classroom. It sure was different... it reminded her of the DT rooms at her muggle school. she took a seat and found a book to read in her bag until class started. There weren't many other people here... |
Oh oh oh oh....a WOODWORKING CLASS??? Sarah beamed as she entered the Muggle Studies classroom. She was a muggleborn, she KNEW what alot of the tools were, her dad had some of them. This was going to be fun. Now, where was that plan she'd found? Her dog really would like a new kennel. She rummaged around in her bag as she made her way into the room, finding an empty space to park her bum. "Hello Professor Lawson!" Sarah grinned, producing the paper with a flourish, and placing it on the desk area, and her bag on the floor. |
Oh for the love of Merlin..... toooools! A room full of the fruit of every Muggle man's dreams. Looked just like Stepfather's shed back home. Fletcher didn't like those memories, so as tempting as it would be to snag a hammer or screwdriver or two and slip 'em into his pockets, the boy quietly sat down and kept his hands to himself. For once. |
Brant walked into muggle studies and sat down. Looking around for people that he knew. Brant couldn't wait for the class to start. He loved Muggle Studies. |
Fallon walked into the Muggle Studies classroom dressed in her new sneakers, jeans, and an old T-shirt. She had forgot what wearing sneakers felt like for she had been wearing heels and sandals, even as the weather turned colder. She smiled as she saw all of the tools that her dad had worked with, unsuccessfully most of the time. "Hello Professor Lawson. How are you today?" She had always found him to be an interesting Professor. Plus, he taught one of her favorite classes. |
Selena entered the classroom. She looked around. Ooh... it looked dangerous in there. Hehe. Selena took a seat. She wanted to touch the tools... they looked like they could seriously hurt someone... "Hello Professor Lawson~" Selena said happily. She had made sure to take in her daily dose of sugar before entering class. Hehehe. |
Alexandrie entered the second class from Muggle Studies with her building plan hesistantly. She took her seat and glanced around silently. She wondered what the plan was for. |
Skipping into the room oddly not hyper but just in an odd mood, William skidded to a halt and blinked. The room looked like a dungeon gone wrong. Or a torture chamber. Either way it kind of creeped him out. Frowning a bit he sighed shaking his head as he tossed a wave at professor Lawson. "Howdy professor, how are you today?" he asked before making his way over to a seat and sitting down. |
For once, Destiny and Marie walked into a classroom together. There was no pulling on the rope whatsoever, and it seemed like the two were actually getting along. Were they pretending? Maybe. Walking into the..whatever this place was, since it was NOT a classroom, Destiny did not even acknowledge Lawson standing there, and she tried to drown out his voice by humming extremely loud. Heh, it didn't work since she still heard him telling everyone not to touch anything. Like she would want to touch anything anyway. Everything looked so PAINFUL and SHARP. Oh. Painful and sharp. With a smirk on her face, she walked, with Marie, over to the table Evelyn was seated. Heehee, this rope was coming off today. It was going to be the rope, or Marie's wrist. Whichever that sharp thing was easier to cut through. |
Amy grabbed a seat when she waked into the room. Once seated she looked around, it was just like a tech room from her own previous school. She placed everything on the desk and waited for the lesson to start watching people file into the room. |

He rapped his knuckles on the desk to get everyone's attention. "Okay as you can all see, the classroom looks a little different today." Which he knew was kinda obvious but he thought he would just point it out again. "This is what your ordinary muggle carpenters workshop looks like. Now before we start getting into the fun stuff. Did everyone remember to bring their plans/instructions to class? And do you all have protective clothing on?" |
