Located near the entrance of the Great Hall is a booth that has a rather large symbol stuck to the front of it:

Are you looking for a job where you can work side by side with the Minister of Magic and make a difference in the wizarding community? Then you've come to the right place! This booth is where you can learn all about the awesome Ministry of Magic.

Standing just behind the booth are two Ministry of Magic employees:

Samuel McDean, Department Head for the Magical Law Enforcement, is wearing an orange polo shirt with a pair of blue jeans; his shoes were just a normal pair of cool slide on shoes that he just happen to find in his closet this morning. He's standing there with a green lollipop in his mouth as he waited for the lil' munchkins to come and ask him questions about the Ministry. If they are lucky enough, they might even get to have one of those green lollipops in the jar that was sitting in front of him on the booth!

Even though he was rather new to the Ministry, Cale Newell felt very professional in his new purple tie and matching shirt. It was...weird standing here, presenting students (some of whom he had actually attended SCHOOL with) with information and advising them on their future careers. That was ok, though because Sam was here to help him--he was older. Therefore wiser. Cale was glad he was doing this booth with him and not someone crazy...like his Uncle Ben.

As he waited for the students to approach, he straighted the stacks of pamphlets on the Ministry on the table in front of them. There was also a jar of jelly slugs nearby, just WAITING to be earned by all the eager young minds.

Selena walked up to this booth quite interested. She turned to the guy wearing an orange shirt and smiled. "Hello, what do you do in the Ministry?" Selena asked.

Oh, WAIT. He needed a pamphlet! Reaching over to the stack of pamphlets that was located in front of Cale, he took one and offered it to the girl. "Would you like a pamphlet?"

But she could keep her options open! "What exactly do you do in that department?" Selena asked curiously. Selena took the pamphlet and smiled. "Thank you," she said.

If she didn't, she probably wouldn't be standing here right now. Truthfully, he started to think about what he wanted to do when he grew up when he was eleven years old... but he changed his career ideas every year.

"We deal with bad guys!" He answered. "Well, actually, that's not all we do. The Law Enforcement Department also deals underage magic and muggle objects that have been illegally enchanted. We also deal with spell, potions, etc. that are fake and useless." That was a lot of information, wasn't it? "Are you interested in fighting criminals? Or are you interested in going to another Department? The Ministry offers lots of opportunities for different jobs," he said as he nodded his head.

Tori entered the Great Hall to check out the job fair. As she entered, she went to a both and heard the msn saying he was in magical law enforcement. That sounded interesting.
"Um, hi, so what kind of jobs are in Magical Law Enforcement?"she asked him intrigued.

Enchanted objects? Selena wondered what they could be. Maybe a charmed iPod? Hahha. The iPod was already magic enough for her!!"So... what muggle objects have you come across so far that was enchanted?" Selena asked.

As another girl came up to visit Sam, Cale decided it was his time to step in. "Well, I'm not on Law Enforcement, but I'm on the Accidents and Catastrophes level, and we've had enchanted Legos run around the office," he explained with a grin. Granted, that was before his time but--it was still exciting, yes?!

"It was an escaped project from Law Enforcement, right Sam?" he asked, looking at his booth partner for confirmation. He cast a glance across the Great Hall at Anna's booth--Booooo. Why wasn't her booth over HERE by him?! He could talk to her in between students ~~and keep an eye on Toussiant as well~~

He honestly had no idea. Was this the right booth? He peered around the Great Hall again and frowned a little. It looked like the closest thing possible. After all, there was nothing that blatantly said 'Auror'. Still, he wasn't sure he wanted to work at the Ministry; the ITF sounded much more appealing. But then, maybe the Ministry would have some information about Auror's. They had to have some. Right? Hopefully. Maybe. It was worth a shot.

OOOOH more visitors! Cale ripped his attention away from Nico and Anna across the Grand Hall--Toussiant was slimy but not stupid enough to try anything sneaky amongst all these students AND his colleague's husband to boot, so there was no need to spy on them anymore. Much. He plastered a smile on his face, hoping he didn't look TOO over eager or excited.

"HI! Interested in the Ministry? Here, have a brochure, even if you're not!" he said, taking two pamphlets and handing one to each of them.

Ok, maybe he'd been sneaking TOO many jelly slugs from the jar next to him.

Sabel's head turned as he blinked. "Kellen?"

He had to blink again, considering something was moving inside the other boy's pocket. Ooohhkay then..."I'm looking for the Auror's booth, and this seems the closest possible thing." Another blink. "What are you doing over here?" Kellen did not strike him as a Ministry type of fellow, though possibly a laywer in the muggle world.

Or mind. He nearly jumped a mile when a man came up to them and started shoving brochures in their faces. Not one to like people running up and sticking their face in his, he found himself poking his head out from around Kellen's shoulder, blinking at the man. Was he somehow related to Neptune? Because, he sure had that Neptune vibe about him. "Do you...know where the Auror booth is?"

'Hallo!' she said brightly 'I was wondering... since before I found out I was a witch, I'd always wanted to be a lawyer. Do you have any kind of magical lawyers at the ministry?' she hoped that wasn't a weird question.

"We offer a lot of jobs in my Department. We offer jobs that involve fight crime and bringing in the bad guys to be trialed in Wizengamot. We have jobs that deal with fake spells, potions, etc.," he explained. "We also have jobs that deal with underage magic and muggle objects that have been illegally enchanted."

He reached for one of the pamphlets, and then he offered it to the girl. "Would you like a pamphlet?"

Samuel was trying to think of some enchanted objects they had come across, but that was kind of hard since he hasn't worked in that Department for a long period of time. He was about to mention the watch he had enchanted for that demonstration, but then Cale mentioned those Legos. Oh, YES! He remembered those. Well, he had heard of those. He hadn't worked in that Department when that went on, but he had seen some files about the runaway Legos.

"Yes, it was an escaped from from Law Enforcement," he replied. "A weird package was sent to use and inside the package was a lot of different items. Along with the Legos, there was ornaments, cushions, and a remote control... just to name a few."

Did he just hear someone ask where the Auror booth was? Sam immediately turned his head towards the kid that had been talking to Cale. "Hey there," he said. "I'm Samuel McDean, Department Head for the Magical Law Enforcement. Are you thinking about becoming an Auror?" He probably was since he was wondering where the Auror booth was.

"I don't think we have any magical lawyers at the Ministry," he answered. "I can say that working for Wizengamot would probably be the closest thing to being a lawyer."

Selena was confused. "Er... excuse me for asking... but... what exactly are legos?" Selena asked as she blushed. She knew it was muggle, but since she was a pureblood and her parents really never let her play with toys she didn't know what it was. She really was confused. boo her!!

"They're muggle toys," Cale explained with a smile. "They look kind of like plastic building blocks, only they have these little peg things on them so you can snap them together and they won't fall apart. They built themselves into a LION and it tried to attack us...I think." Maybe it was a sphyix...ah well. Something in that general family.

Since people were asking more questions about Aurors and stuff, his eyes wandered over to Anna and Nico's booth again. Blehhh. Just looking at him annoyed him.

They didn't know what Wizengamot was? Well, Sam did need to remember that they were still only students and had much to learn about the big Wizarding world. "Wizengamot is the high court in the Ministry," he explained. "It has about 50 members, and they trial the criminals that are brought in by the Magical Law Enforcement Department."

"Fighting crime is such a dangerous task, especially if you're an Auror, but it gives you a sense of achievement when you captured a bad guy," he stated. Who WOULDN'T feel like they achived something when you've captured one of London's most wanted? Hmm?

"The Auror deal with the wizards and witches out there that use the Dark Arts. If you're not looking for THAT much action, we still have the Magical Law Enforcement Squad that deal with just little crimes that you see on the streets of London." He paused for a second before adding, "As for bringing in the bad guys, we'll bring them in for interrogation... or if their crime was worse, they will be trial in the high court and possibly be sent to Azkaban."

Leaving the Gryffindor house table, Josh wandered among the job fair booths aimlessly for a couple of minutes, until his dark brown eyes spotted the Ministry booth. He wanted to be an Auror. Right. And Aurors were working in the Ministry. Right. So, he was supposed to talk to the guys there if he wanted to learn how to be an Auror. Right.

''Heeyy!'' so he ran to the booth with a huge grin looking all hyper as usual. ''I wanna be an Auror! I wanna be an Auror. I am good at kicking bad guys. Is one of you an Auror?''

"Errr...Sabel Dakest." He held out his hand in greeting. "I'm...yes...interested in a profession as an Auror." If it was considered a Profession. Probably best not to mention he didn't want to be involved with the Ministry. Unless the ITF was inside the Ministry. Hmm...

"Interesting. Ok, I definitely want to be an auror. I'm really good with my wand."she said, flashing the ministry man, Sam, an impish grin,"So, what subjects do I need to have to be an auror?", her brown, widen with curiosity.

OMG hyperrrr child!

Sam moved the container of lollipop over when he noticed that the child that had just come up to him seemed just a tiny bit hyper. Giving him candy did NOT seem like such a good idea at the moment. "Hey there," he greeted the child. "Oh, so you want to be an Auror?" It was kinda of hard to get passed the fact that he wanted to be one when he had said it TWICE. "Kicking bad guys?" That's new. "What makes you think you have what it takes to be an Auror?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

Sam gave the man a handshake and said, "It's nice to meet you, Sabel." He looked at the group of kids around the table, and he knew most of them were interested in doing something along the lines of an Auror -- or at least, the ones he talked to were. With all this recruitment, the future Auror Division was looking quite full! Yayy. "Why are you interested in becoming an Auror?" He asked.

Sam grinned when the girl said she WANTED to be an Auror. Now that's the attitude he was looking for! "That's great," he exclaimed. "Well, I would say you need to know something in all the subjects, just so you have common knowledge of everything." Someone never knew what they were going to be faced against in the Wizarding world, right? "But the subjects we look at most in OWLs and NEWTs scores are Potions, Herbology, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms, and Transfiguration."

"Are you good in all those subjects?" He raised an eyebrow as he waited for her reply.
