Lachlan the Lanky
 

As you crest the staircase coming up from the sixth floor, you'll notice a statue to your right. Lachlan the Lanky is a great landmark for a meeting place.

Jay ran up to the statue, he leant his head onto it and started to cry.

Lissa walked now, noticing Jay against the statue, crying. "Jay," she spoke softly, wanting to talk to him. "What did Lily-anne do?" she asked him.

"Wasn't her." he replied swiftly.

"Well then tell me...EVERYTHING," Lissa told him bluntly. "I'm not here for game and fast replies."

"Fine! I almost kissed her!" he said angrily. "Happy now? 'coz I aint" he said.

Amy walked past the statue just in time to hear jays snappish retort, she began to run, tears burning in her eyes as she ran to the common room

Lissa didn't do anything new, she wasn't shocked, well she didn't show it. "Do you have feelings for her?" she asked. "And NO I'm not happy."

Great she heard someone shuffle. AMY. "In fact that just dampened me mood, I'm sorry that I spoke to you today, some best friend," she said and followed Amy, knowing her it would be the common room.

"I don't know!" he said snapping at her. "Look, sorry for yelling I am just really mad with myself, I am doing what Maddie did almost. I think I might have but what about Nico? I don't want to hurt Nico or Amy." he replied. He noticed Lissa running away and started to cry, he slid down the wall and just sat there... motionless. "What have I done..." he said putting his head into his hands.

Lissa stopped in her tracks when she heard Jay speak again. "I know you don't. You know you can't control your feelings, no one can. It's life, you can't go back. What's done is done." She spoke turning back to him. "I think that you may have feelings for two girls, that isn't your fault and no one can get mad at you for it, not even Amy."

"Yeah but leaning in to kiss Lilly-Anne basically screwed me up didn't it. I just didn't know what I was doing. It will be awkward between me and Amy, Amy and Lilly-Anne and Me and Lilly-Anne." he said

Losing it in that second amy ran back to him I HATE YOU! She screamed at him slapping him and disolving into huge tears I TRUSTED YOU I LIKED YOU SO MUCH but now she sniffed I HATE YOU, STAY AWAY FROM ME! she turned back on her heel and sprinted away

Jay totally baffled about what happened just realised she slapped him, he had enough, not enough energy to barely stand up and just fell down. After a few minutes he got up and his nose was bleeding, "Ok who made me fall forward?" he said trying to stand up but unable. He then looked up to see Amy running, "Oh no." he said crying.

"True," Lissa spoke walking to the staircase and sitting on it. "People always make mistakes, and this will probably be classified as one of the worst but..." she trailed off, not knowing what to say.

Lissa closed her eyes as Amy came back, screamed then slapped him.

Lissa walked towards him and tried to lift him up. "No one, you just fell," she said hoisting him up. "You can't do anything about it. If I went who knows what will happen."

After Lissa pulled him up, his blood still dripping on the floor, "Why the hell did I have to? WHY?!" he said, almost falling down again but regaining his balance.

Lissa grabbed his clothing and dragged him to the stairs and made him sit down. She leaned down to they were eye contact. "Listen, it wasn't your fault! I bet your brain did nothing when you nearly kissed her!" she told him, she felt like slapping him too. "Now, should I go to the hospital Wing and find a spell to clear the blood from your nose," she offered.

"No, I don't mind. I deserved it, in fact to be honest it was me thinking about not hurting Amy that made me lean back otherwise I would have been slapped by Lilly-Anne yesterday... Guess that it doesn't matter anymore," he replied, noticing she was urging to hit him too, "Go ahead, I don't care anymore, in fact she should have slapped me twice, then I couldn't talk." he said.

"Well at least your brain worked then," she told him. She sighed, she wasn't going to hit him but she might have. "Do you realise how stupid you sound right now. I'm not going to hit you I don't want to hit you anyway. But the way that your acting now makes me."

"But it didn't work. I got annoyed at you when you were trying to comfort me, she heard. I told her that it would affect us but in the end we both got hurt..." he replied, hoping that Amy could hear what he was saying, a tear coming from his eye. He felt a bit lonely inside now, he just lost most of his friends.

"Of course it affected you both. But I have no idea who it affected more," she said. "How does your brain work anyway?" she asked him, trying to lighten the mood and trying to make that tear from his eye go away.

"It doesn't, It affected her more, all I got is a bust nose, she will be upset for days... then again so will I so I don't know, I have lost her and maybe even Lilly-Anne because of that stupidity, and to be honest I don't think it works at all..." he said, finally standing up. "Dunno what to do now, I ain't going to the common room, i think Lilly-Anne will be there, I might just uh... well I don't know." he addeed.

"Hey, just stay here then you can head back when everyone will be asleep," she spoke. "I'll be here alright. I was with you since day one, when we first met and I'm here now," she told him, she wasn't going to leave until he was going to.

"Sure." he said sliding down again.

"And I uh, have no idea what I'm going to do, so I'm gonna stay here for a bit, hopefully everyone will be asleep when I get to the common room," she said.

Jay just nodded, there wasn't anything to say at the moment. "Be Right Back," he said forcing himself to go outside for a second.
