Simon looked at the next cloud. "Well this one looked like a diamond too me." Simon wasn't sure but it did look like a diamond from where he was laying.

Turtles on their back! That reminded Mina of something she saw once. Turtles with stuff on their back and they did stuff. Crazy ninja stuff. She wondered if the cloud turtles were ninjas too.

Quickly, she jotted it down in her journal and looked back up.

It was a spider! Okay, it was fluffy spider in the sky, but it still looked mencing to her. Spiders and her were no kind of friends, snakes on the other hand, that was different. Glance back to the ground, she looked in the direction of the forest. Mister snake was probably still there, she did miss him. Yes, she would have to find him one of these days.

Shaking her head, she added the spider to the list and looked back up. Yup, more fluffiness and pillows in the sky. Okay, maybe this wasn't as easy as it sounded. Everything was starting to look like pillow again.

Giving her eyes a quick rub, she looked back up and squinted again. There was something there. Okay, it could have been anything. It looked like it had long legs.....GRASSHOPPER!

"Grasshopper! I see a grasshopper and it's dancing!"

Okay, maybe it wasn't really dancing. It was the cloud moving, but in her mind it was dancing!

Thinking about a turtle on it's back reminded her that day in Muggle Studies, where Patroclus was doing that funky turtle dance! She glanced over to him, but turned away quickly; he was with Evelyn!

Grr.

Writing down in her notebook, on how she saw a spider, she placed it down and look back towards the sky. A grasshopper? Grasshoppers don't dance, do they!? Destiny didn't know, but Mina was a Ravenclaw, which meant she was SMART and she'd know if they dance or not. Weren't these cloud shapes supposed to have some sort of meaning? Heh, she was too comfortable to pick up the list and read the meanings. "Oh no! Look! The dancing grasshopper is going to crash into the turtle!" The turtle would be on it's back then!

"Doesn't that cloud look like the muggle box!?"

If Mina knew what the muggle box was, that is.

Mina continued to look up at the sky as she watched the grasshopper dance across. Perhaps it wasn't a dance, but more of a flutter. Wait, did grasshopper flutter or was that just birds and butterflies. Well, they had wings so it was possible. Yeah, the grasshopper was fluttering. Hearing Destiny, she looked at the fluffiness which was the turtle. "OH NO! Mister Turtle cloud thingie, you need to move or you will be on your back." she yelled.

Yes, she was yelling at cloud animals in the air. She looked and sounded crazy, she knew that. But it was important. But of course, the cloud couldn't hear her and the two clouds collided. Apparently Mister turtle wasn't a ninja after all and Mister Grasshopper was just rude and fluttered into whomever he wanted. Mister Turtle was on his back and Mister Grasshopper was dancing over him. Rude indeed.

Again she glanced over and blinked. A box?

"Like a tellievisor? That muggle box?"

The cloud was all boxy like and it kind of looked liked it could be one, so just jotted it down anyway. She kind of knew what a box meant, but the muggle box was confusing.

Dropping her notes, she looked back up and squinted her eyes a little harder. All the shapes were starting to look a like and that was not cool at all. There had to be something cool there and she would find it!

Destiny watched in HORROR as the dancing grasshopper RUDELY butt bumped the turtle onto his (or her) back. Scoffing, she raised her fist to the clouds, "You will pay grasshopper!" Yep, that particular grasshopper cloud would pay when the weather gets even warmer and the sun VAPORIZES it!

She hoped she would still be there to see the THAT happen.

Oooo! Mina knew what the muggle box was! "The telliwission, YES!" Destiny wondered if she, too, watched those spy things. How cool would THAT be? She wouldn't be the only spy in the school now. That conversation will have to take place later though, for they were in the middle of a class and Mina had just seen the most AMAZING thing EVER! "A castle! Hogwarts castle is better though.. Merlin knows what cloud people do in their spare time." Pffft. They probably go around riding cloud ponies. How much fun could that be?

Snickering at the thought, she once again scanned the skies for some clouds. They were everywhere, but only a few actually looked like something, "I see a dinosaur!"

Rawr.

Carter looked at the next cloud. "Hmm... I see a spider." he said. He then looked over at the list. "We've got five already?" he asked. Wow, time sure flied when you were having fun.

Juuust about to sit up and shake anything out that may have been in her hair, thinking that she should've brought a hair tie, Evelyn paused when Patroclus said something about living next to a divination professor. "You do make me happy!" the boy smiled, "However your inability to see the man with a beard, does not! Look just there, I dont see how you get Christmas out of that, Mushroom from a Palm ok, but christmase tree." The boy's tone was light and jovial, he was not angry at Evelyn, not at all, more at a loss at how there were seeing things so differently.

Spying the Niffler, Patroclus agreed it was a Niffler, but he decided to have some fun, "Thats not a Niffler, thats a Blast Ended Skwert!" The boy couldn'help but laugh, It looked nothing like a Skwert, "OK i lied it is a Niffler!"

Scanning the clouds Patroclus searched for a clear shape, something they could both see, "That one," the boy drawing a massive circle above thier heads, "looks like a pile of Mash Potato!"

Then again all clouds did!

Mina kept one eye on the rude grasshopper and shook her head. Who would have guessed such fluffy cloud creatures were so RUDE. The grasshoppers day would soon come and she would so celebrate that day. Now, just if Mister Turtle could get back off his back. If only he was a ninja, he wouldn't be in this situation. Didn't his mommy turtle tell him being a ninja would help him one day.

All cloud turtles should be ninjas.

Oooo! She got it right. It was a telliewission! Those were fun. Loud, but fun. Yes, they were. Oh she would have to watch some of the box over break. No lesson meant more wission time for her. Yuppie! Blinking, she nodded and looked around in the sky. "It's like a tiny version of Hogwarts. Itty bitty Hoggiewarts!" Obviously, it couldn't compare to the real Hogwarts. It was like tiny and the real one was like BAM huge like. "Pffft, you know they are lazy and rude like the grasshopper and prance around on cloud ponies or something."

Maybe all cloud folk were rude too? Poor cloud turtles stuck with such rudeness.

Blinking, she tilted her head back and stared at the cloud. Haha! "I see it too! It's all RAWR! Maybe it will eat Mister rude Grasshopper!"

Now that would be fun to see. Tiny grasshopper and RAWR! dinosaur.

Taking her notes, she wrote it down and giggles at the thought. She was going to rawr all day now. It was fun to rawr! Maybe she could pop in on someone and totally scare them with it. Oh the giggles, she would have from that. Holding back a tiny snort, she looked back up and squinted so her eyes were just small slits. "DUCK! A duck with a fan!"

Gold, who often found happiness infectious, chuckled. "Thanks for taking a look at it, sir," she said, as she was allowed to take the page back. She clipped it to her notebook with a paper clip that had been lying around in her stationery set, before turning to look at the sky again.

OOOH.

There was a particularly floaty, frothy bit of cloud, over there. Right there. Blue-pinkish, and all fluffy.

"I think that one looks like a kitten," she said, all affectionately. Because kittens are love. LOVE. Of course. "It even has pinkish ears." She was pretty sure the cloud was a kitten in disguise. Pretty sure. "What do you think?" She asked Dianna, eyes full of their usual sparkle, the kind that you can see in a gaze that tends to be cheerful.

It was nice to be hugged by Rae after what seemed like eternity. Plus Professor Reynolds seemed okay about that. Xylon grinned, before allowing his hazel eyes to rest on Rae.

"Reckon we should start cloud-watching?" He asked. Unless she didn't want to. Maybe they could sneak out of the place then. "I think that cloud looks a bridge, no?"

What did a bridge signify anyway? No idea. Maybe he ought ot take a look at the board after all.

Lysandra looked at the cloud that Noir was talking about and said It looks like a duck to me. Don't ask why becuase I don't know. she said laughing. She then added extra notes to her notebook.

Pffft! "Well, I don't see how you can't see the Christmas tree!" she tried to say seriously, though fell into a quiet fit of giggles soon after. She made him happy? Well that made her happy! And her depressed mood from the conflict with Destiny completely disappeared as she paid attention to Patroclus and the clouds.

WHAAAT?! "That is not a blast-ended skrewt!" Why would he think that? Surely he was able to see the long snout and cute ears...and the tail! OMG IT WAS SO CUTE! "Pffft, it is so a niffler..." And she officially named it Orion. In her mind that is. Patroclus and his weird cloud bearded man probably just didn't have the brain power to see it. Then again, he was seeing a bearded man....

However, then next one he pointed out definitely made her laugh. "You are right on target on that one." she said, trying to look for others. There was one, that slightly looked like a heart, but, well... remembering that this was divination class and these clouds were supposed to have 'meanings' and all, she thought it was best not to mention that one. Instead... "Aw, that one. Looks like a snake."

Hehe.

Rae glanced at him when he said the comment about starting... Well, she had already seen 3 and asked about one, but oh well, who knows where his mind could've been. "Yeah that looks like a bridge.. What about that lion i said before, do you think it's a lion?" Rae felt a little stupid repeating herself.
Rae got out a notebook and started to write down the things she had seen...

She had asked about a cloud? He needed to snap out of it! Stop daydreaming and actually start paying attention.

"Sorry," Xylon said, as he turned a pair of hazel eyes to the cloud she was talking about. "Looks like a lion," he agreed. "Though I can't see the tail," he added with a slight smile.

"Can you?"

Errrrr... Rae didn't notice that part. "I only was looking at the mane..... I'll start looking up the meanings... Is there anything else you see?" Rae went back to the notebook and wrote down the meanings she looked up next to the word



Well, now that THAT was done, she didn't have to focus any more on school work.. Unless Xylon saw more, which was fine anyways. Rae looked at her notebook and the meanings of the shapes. she was quite happy with the results she got and they were all pretty obvious. The axe probably described her parents, the lion whose meaning was important man was Xylon of course. The fountain made Rae smile because she was sure that right at this moment she was overflowing with happiness. A bridge.... Hm.. Well Xylon first saw it, and she did after, did it mean it involved both of them? Xylon was no doubt a life changing person to HER, but could it possibly mean an event?

"Duck..got it" Noir nodded..She continued to look at the sky.."Umm..That one looks like a heart I think" she said..

Xylon grinned. "It's still a lion," he said. "I mean, I'm sure lions can exist without tails."

Right.
Not that something he wanted to think about.

He looked down, at the list she had drawn up. He had seen a bridge and a tail-less lion so far. The bridge, that much was pretty clear to him. Rae was a life-changing person alright. "The event probably happened by the Wishing Fountain," he said quietly to her as he drew up a list too.

"That one looks like a grasshopper," he said, shaking himself out of the thoughts of Rae. Which were prone to attack him all the time. He couldn't say he didn't enjoy them.

Dianna looked at the cloud Gold was looking at. Hmm.. yes but it looked different to her..
"Looks more like a leaf to me.." she said. "But yes if you look at it in an angle-" she tumbled to her right, "Yeah.. a kitten!"

"How about that one? Looks like an octopus." Dianna said pointing at the sky.

Rae laughed a bit... "Or maybe the lion swung his tail to the side of his body that we can't see?" Tail-less lions? "But I guess the lion could just not have a tail." Maybe he didn't want it to have a tail..

Smiling at the thought of this lesson. Could it be a more perfect lesson? Outside, watching clouds with Xylon and then getting graded on something she would do any day not in class? Perfect. Just like the fountain in the sky, overflowing happiness. Rae hadn't even thought once of the inheritance that is supposed to be delivered to her tomorrow, or that she will also be nameless in a day.

"Yeah I see the grasshopper.." Rae looked at Xylon's notes. Summer delights... Excitement rose and then once again, overflowing happiness. "Seems like our future's run together.." Since most of her shapes led to him and it seemed that his shapes led to her.

Leaf? Gold could not, for the life of her, figure out how that kitten-cloud looked like a leaf-cloud to Dianna! She chuckled, at the randomness of it all, before propping herself up, back not too straight, chin resting on hands, and elbows resting in her lap.

"Gosh, you're right!" She said, looking at the Octo-cloud. "That could be a leg. Tentacle." Whatever. "OH, and that could be an eye. But," she frowned slightly. "It seems to have one and a half eye. Eyes."

Eep.

She sat up straighter, her eyes trained on another, bluish cloud in the far distance. "That one looks like an angel," she pointed out, eyes lighting up once again. It certainly seemed to have 'wings.' Floaty, blue-white wings. Like wisps of smoke, only far more solid.

A spider, okay, maybe she could see that but she was still going to stick with it looking like a fork to her. Sitting up she finished writing the symbols down that they seen. "Looks like we have the five that we need." Which meant they were free to chat quietly until the profeessor was ready to continue with the class.

Now, what to talk about. Up until this class they hadn't even seen each other since thier argument. Marie knew they couldn't just act like nothing happened. They still had a lot to talk about but she knew class wasn't the time or place to discuss things.

Yeah, cue awkward silence here.

Xylon chuckled. "I like that idea. Sounds much better than assumption that tail-less lions can exist."

Future. Together. Those were the two words Xylon heard. Or maybe those were the two words that seemed to linger. He nodded, a half smile etching itself on his face. Summer delights. "You're coming over for the summer, aren't you?" He asked as he attempted to look for the cloud that she had thought looked like an axe. At length he found one.

"I've found the axe cloud thingy," he said, still smiling lightly.

"Good point." Dianna shuddered.



Pointing at a big cloud Dianna smiled.
"A Frog! But if you look closely it's legs seem to be sticked together like a mermaid's tail.." she said.

Rae turned her head and gave him a look that said 'seriously?' when he asked the question about summer. Half of her wanted to reassure him and be nice, the other half kinda wanted to be sarcastic... Maybe her answer was in between. "Well where else would I go?" Not that he was the only option, Destiny invited her as well, but shouldn't he know by now that she would want as much time with him as possible? Especially before he leaves.. He found the axe, it felt like a search and find game, where one searches and the other finds... Or something like that. Power to overcome difficulties, they could overpower anything together right? Rae took his hand and closed her eyes as the warm sun soaked into her.

Remembering the meaning of the axe reminded her of the event tomorrow will bring, she will need to go to the owlery and wait for... Whatever she was supposed to get. Maybe Xylon would meet her there? She took a mental note to ask later and not disrupt this absolutely perfect class.
