Diggy heard someone shouting WAIT and he thought they were talking to him. So he stopped and turned to look and saw a little boy chasing after a flyway hat. He reached to scoop the hat up when the boy did a face plant. He dropped Stark who hissed at him and shot off back toward to the castle. He reached down for the boy, "Hey you alright there?" he asked trying to pull the boy to his feet.

Selena walked down the corridor. She was quite bored and planned on walking down to the lake again for some drawing or writing. She saw a boy fall. That looked a bit like the boy at the feast. Oh dear Merlin, he had just fallen. Selena walked quickly to him with a small smile. "Hey, are you alright?" Selena asked worriedly as she offered him a hand. That fall had to hurt.

" Oof." was the one sound Logan made when he hit the ground he blinked embarssed by his clumsiness when someone asked if he was alright hesitantly he nodded. " I'm okay." then je let the older boy help him to his feet. "t..thanks for catching my hat" He said as tried dusting off his new school robes. He looked up ans saw the girl from the feast standing next to him and he blushed even more embarrassed. " I'm okay." he said again.

"Are you sure you're not bleeding or anything of the sort, Logan?" Selena frowned. "Your name was Logan, right?" Selena said hesitantly with a sheepish smile.

He looked up when another Slytherin came to the rescue of the fallen boy. At least something good had come out of that house 5 am breakfast they had with Professor...Merlin he couldn't remember his name. He smiled at the girl. "Hey," he said to her.

He hauled the little boy up and onto his feet. "Oh its no problem." he grinned. It was never fun to fall flat on your face when no one was around. He put this boy's hat back on his head. But why he was wearing it he didn't know. You only had to wear them in class. "So whats you name? I'm Diggy Greenwood." He held out his hand for the boy to shake.

" Oh, I'm okay.. really." he reassured selena he thought her name was. " Thanks for asking though."

Logan smiled back at the older boy as he introduced himself." I'm Logan Breske." He said shaking the boys hand. He looked at the girl from the feast. " and this is.. Selena???...Ummm." he rubbed his neck and looked at her. He had forgotten her Last name.

"Hello," Selena smiled, "my name's Selena Vivianne Zabini-Riddle," she said as she held out her hand politely. "And you are?"
"Well... if you're sure..." Selena said a bit hesitantly. She really hoped the boy hadn't hit his head too hard... It hurt, she'd tried it before.

Diggy jutted his chin out at the boy's hat. "You know we only have to wear our hats during class," he explained to him. He was obviously a first year and trying to impress someone. "Are you a first year?" Though he already knew the answer to that question.

His eyes crossed as the girl went through her laundry list of names. Wow, she had to be another crazy girl with a long name like that. And she said it all in one breath. That was a feat. He shook her hand, "Dillon Greenwood is the name." she smiled at her. He had to be polite regardless if she were crazy or not.

"Pleasure meeting you Dillon," Selena said simply. The boy was giving her an odd look as if she was crazy. Maybe she was since she was probably seeing things. "Is there something wrong?" Selena asked. What did she say? She didn't say much besides her name...

Oh crumbs! He straightened up his face. He hadn't meant to give her a funny look or anything but her name was just....well he guess he had been dealing with too many crazy girls he was starting to think they were all crazy. "Oh nothing. Just thinking about feeding my cat when I get back to the common room." he told her covering up quickly. "Its nice meeting you Selena." Maybe she wasn't like that girl in the library. "Are you liking Hogwarts so far?" he asked for a lack of anything else to ask her.

"You have a cat?" Selena smiled. "Hogwarts is fine so far, I keep getting lost," Selena admitted, "but the scenery is nice and picture-worthy, so it makes up for it..." Selena said. "So, what year are you?" she asked.

Diggy grinned and nodded. "Yep I've got a cat familiar." he announced proudly. He knew it what it felt like to get lost in the castle all the time. "Thats what happened to me too. I thought I was going to die because I never could find the Great Hall." he admitted. "I'm a fifth year. Even though I look like a second year." he laughed. "Where are you from?" he asked her. Since she seemed normal he wanted to keep talking to her.

"I've lived in England my whole life," Selena sighed. "Gets kinda boring really..." Selena shrugged. "I live with my mother and stepfather in England... but when I'm with my father, I go to Italy," Selena added. "What about you?" The boy didn't seem that bad.

Right. That meant Gold had his year down, correctly. Her lips turned up in a pretty smile, when he asked if there was any subject she did not like. "As a matter of fact, yes," she said. "I don't get Herbology very well. Potions -- well, I can get a brew down, right to a T, but I'm not a natural at it. I work best with subjects that require one to think, interpret and be very hands-on. Those that combine creativity and fun."

Fusses over? Hey! Gold grinned. "Only child," she said, brightly. "I kind of wish I had a big, protective brother, sometimes. But if wishes were horses --" She trailed off, letting the sentence hang in the air. "So. Aiden. Are you an only child, too? Or luckier than me?"

He nodded as she talked, "Well I was born here. I mean in London. That's where I was born," Oh Merlin he was rambling. Someone stop him please. "But we like to travel. And my mom's family lives in Ghana. That's in Africa. MY dad is Scottish so most of his brothers live there. Except my uncle Oliver. He's our Quidditch captain by the way." He shrugged. "I live with both my mom and my dad and I have 6 brothers and sister. And I have a twin brother, but he goes to a muggle school in the United States. He's kinda like Tony Stark. Ironman. Thats his favorite super hero," He took a breath, and thankfully he stopped talking.

" I am sure." he insisted when she asked once more.

" Really?!" He asked he asked after when Diggy told him he only had to wear his hat in class. " I thought we-" Logan rolled his eyes up towards his head and frowned as he reached and pulled the hat off the top of his head and stuffed it into the pocket of his robes. " Thanks Diggy! I thought since i was part of our uniform we had to and no one else told me any different."

Diggy giggled, "Yeah we don't have to wear them all the time. Shove it in your pocket," he told him. He smiled. "Hey don't worry about it. Thats what your housemates are for." He gave him a playful punch in the arm. "So where you coming from Logan?" he asked turning to walk over to one of the many alcoves. He sat down and Stark came walking over with his tail in the air eyeing Diggy up and down. Stark wound through Diggy's legs purring the whole time. "This is Stark." he told Logan pointing to the fat tabby cat.

" The common room I thought it would be nice to take a walk." Logan said stumbling over his shoe lace once omre only thing time catching himself as he followed after Diggy over to the alcove. Logan used the moment Diggy stopped to point out his tabby cat to him as a time to re-tie the loose shoelace then he reached to scratch the cat behind the ears with a smile. " I don't have a cat. Just Fallon He's a crested owl I brought him with me... He's not a new owl like most everyone else in first year has..." It was Logan's time to ramble. " But I didn't want a new owl Fallon has been my dad's owl. He's a good owl too. Guess thats cause my Dad is good with animals and Creatures..Thats the department he works in at the Ministy." He continued.

He nodded, "Yeah I needed to get out of the common room too. Sometimes it just gets so stuffy in there and you just need a break." And plus there were some kids in there shoving each other off the couches and he just didn't feel like dealing with that right now. He watched as Logan scratched Stark behind his eyes. The cat closed his yellow eyes and purred softly. Diggy had to smile. Anyone who could make his evil cat happy was ok in his book. "I was supposed to get an owl for my birthday a pygmie owl like the one my dad has, but then Stark came along." He nuzzled his cats furr. "Oh really? My dad is totally obsessed with dragons a few years ago he brought a hatchling home from the reserve. They let us keep it till it hatched. Then the silly dragon burned down the pool house. My mom was not happy about that. It was funny watching her run around the place yelling at the dragon and my dad trying to put the fire out." Diggy had to laugh because at first everyone thought him and JoJo had burned it down. Destructive as they were they would never burn down the pool house. They liked the pool house.

Now the neighbors' dog house was a different story. That dog had it coming.

As he continued to ramble on, Selena smiled. "That nice, a huge family you have there," Selena giggled. "I'm a bit jealous. 6 brothers and sisters? I'm an only child," Selena said. "And it's nice, to have all such a nice background," Selena added. Africa and Scotland? That was cool. "A twin brother? Are you guys fraternal?" Selena asked, "and who is Ironman?" Selena added. Must be a muggle thing.


"Well... okay," Selena sighed. "How'd you fall anyways?" Selena asked.

Mel raised and eyebrow, did Bella want her to get a detention. She sighed and rolled her eyes wait for Bella to actually say what she wanted to say. "Yeah, but I wasn't," she spoke quietly, but just enough volume for Bella to hear her. She should of been there defending her friends but she wasn't, she did throw a dungbomb after all, she wasn't happy nor proud of it.

She followed Bella's gaze and stared there for a while, just thinking about her past present and future to come at Hogwarts. She wondered if she would get into trouble, become very bad and lose out on the chance of getting to be a prefect or worse Quidditch captain. She did want to be one of them but she would rather be both.

So, there was a subject that Gold Laksh actually didn't care for! Despite her explanation of how she wasn't a natural at potions, nor much of a herbology fan, he figured she excelled in both anyhow seeing as it sounded to him that she - and her mother - were quite concerned about her high marks. "Herbology is all right," Aiden added with a indifferent shrug. "And I do like Potions, although it's not my strongest subject.." He always had a tendency to add 'too much.'

He smiled when she told him how an older brother would have been nice for her; not that being an only child didn't have its benefits, but Aiden was glad that he did have a sibling. "I have an older sister," he told her, smiling. "Madison. I'm lucky; we actually get along pretty well.. with the occasional quarrels, but you know."

"We had a wonderful potions master, last year," Gold mused. "I'm sorry you won't get to know him. Professor Kazimeriz. He was Deputy Headmaster, and... he was amazing. I mean, he was well over a hundred years old, but I've never seen anyone half as talented. He was scary, too," she added, as an afterthought. "In a totally cool way."

"Lucky you," Gold said, with a light smile. "But I'm glad I have wonderful friends. They make up for my lack of siblings." She glanced at her wristwatch, as she spoke, and realized she needed to be somewhere. Oh, shucks. "Aiden - I have to run. I'll catch you around, mmkay? Have fun at Hogwarts." She gave him a quick, little wave, then turned around and headed off. Ugh. How could she have forgotten?

... and now she was going to be late.

An only child? What sort of fun was that? "Well we have plenty of toys and things at my house you can come over anytime. My dad makes the best cheeseburgers ever I promise," It was so much fun at the Greenwood house and not that his dad was back home everything was right as rain. "Yeah I have two older sisters and an older brother and then three younger brothers. I'm the older twin." He was rather proud of that. Though JoJo was slighty more mature than Diggy was.

He shook his head. "Nope, we're identical twins," he told her proudly. "And my little brothers are identical twins too." He loved being a twin, even though he missed JoJo. "Oh Ironman is a superhero. I read muggle comic books and he's my favorite." he explained. He loved his comic books and his super heros.

Selena was quite shocked at the invitation. "That's a really nice offer, but I can't intrude on your family like that," Selena smiled. "So many siblings, I guess that's a good thing, to have older siblings... they can help you with your problems," Selena said. "So why isn't your twin here? Why'd he choose a muggle school?" Selena asked. It would be nice if she had an older sibling... or a twin. She'd settle for either. "Comic books?" Selena said, "no offense, but aren't you a bit too old for comic books?" Selena asked with a smile.
