Nessa needed a break from being inside the castle for a while, so she headed towards the corridor opening, leading to the courtyard. As she stood upon the steps, she began to feel the cool breeze brushing against her face. She looked beyond the courtyard to see miles of adventure. Putting a smile on her face, she began to step out of the corridor and onto Hogwarts grounds.

It was time for a walk. A walk in the snow and the cool air that was such a refreshing relief from the stale and stagnant air of Hogwarts corridors. A small smile touched his lips as he felt a small flake of snow brush across his cheeks. Stopping with his hands in his pockets, he tilted his head back and opened his mouth to catch some of the drifting snow. It was nice, to see snow. Admitidely, he missed that about Canada.

Having just finished lunch, and spending most of her time practicing her spells, the little puff ran out of the castle with her kneazle at her heals. She did have to make a pit stop to her dorm for her cloak and yellow beanie but wasted no time it putting the cloak on as she opened the doors to the grounds. Adjusting the oversized beanie on her head, she grinned when spoting a familiar face.

Arya skipped over, leaving her kneazle to hop on one of the windows. "There's food in the kitchen if your hungry, Sabel." Grin, grin. HUGZ.

Sabel staggered a little bit at the surprise hug he recieved, his grin widening as he hugged her arms in the best reciprocation he could manage. "Now what in this currently white world told you that I was thinking about food?" Perhaps it was the attempting to eat snow, sky and all manner of rather unconsumable air-water-based products. It was fun though. There was that.

"The fact that you were eating snow flakes. Not a very filling meal." She gazed up at him, but didn't release him from her hug. "The meal in the Great Hall was MUCH better." Honest. She went for seconds and everything, even gave some to Perseus. Thought the kneazle was more interested the flying owls. "What are you doing out here? Besides having lunch?" Arya adjusted the beanie so that she could better see Sabel.

A playful pout laced Sabel's features as he looked down at Arya. "You ain't never caught snowflakes before? It's like icecream. Fills in the cracks. Just less...sugar-coma inducing." Tilting his head, he reached up with one hand and readjusted her hat so it covered her ears properly; no sense in her getting cold. "As for what I'm doing out here. Not too sure. Can't use the 'lost' excuse anymore, so I guess, just wandering about. Enjoying the weather. Yourself?"

"Of course I have," She said with a grin. "You just seemed like you were hungering for more than just a few flakes of snow." She listened to his reason for being on the grounds while he adjusted her beanie, she really should shrink it, but it was Noah's when he attened the school and she loved it just the was it was. Someday she would grow into the beanie. "Me and Perseus," Her eyes flickered over to the kneazle who was now perched in one of the openings playing with the snow. "Just came out for some fresh air. Not sure what were gonna do yet."

A small smile touched his lips as he looked over to the kneazle on the window sill. Merlin was a bit of a grump today, or any day that it came to snow. Pity. The two could have played together. "Shall I leave you two to your grand adventures?"

She shook her head, pigtails shifting slightly on her shoulders. "Nope, your always welcome to join us on our adventures. Whatever they may be..." And according to Perseus it was to play in the snow, which...wasn't a bad idea. Snow was always fun to play in, then they could go for some hot chocolate. "What do ya wanna do? Build a snow man? Or something else?" Her eyes flicked around the corridor.

"I am up, for whatever adventures you and Perseus wish to partake in. But first..." He unwrapped his arms from around Arya and gently used his fingers to close her eyes. "No peeking." With that said, he reached up and gently removed the beanie from her head, pulling out the orange earmuffs he had bought her at Hogsmeade and placing them over her ears. That complete, he then replaced the Beanie, smiling at how cute she looked. "There. Now you are ready for any and all types of adventure."

Arya was curiously excited as to the reason for her eyes being covered, but she didn't peek. And not peeking was HARD. Cause she wanted to see what he had. "Whatcha got for me?" She said curiously. She shut her eyes tighter when her beanie was removed, her little ears growing cold from the slight breeze. Just as quick as the cold came it was gone when she felt something warm slide over her ears and her beanie replaced. Peeking her eyes open, she released her grip on Sabel and brought her hands up to feel the new addition to her ensemble. Eeearmuffs. "Ooh, thank you Sabel!" She wraped her arms back around him, cause gifts required thank you hugs. "What color are they?" It was important, and she couldn't see them since they were on her head for the duration of her time spent outside.

A small laugh left Sabel and he returned the hug warmly. "Orange. I hope that's okay. The color...seemed to suit you. Warm...bright...smiling." He gave a small shrug and a gentle squeeze. "If you want something else, I'll return them and get you something a little more suitable."

She LOVED orange, so it was more than okay. "It my favorite color." Which was her way of saying that she loved the gift he had given her. "Want something else? Why would I want something else? I love my gift." She glanced back up at him with a small smile. "Thank you, Sabel." Annnnd here comes another hug.

Chuckling, Sabel gave her another warm hug. "I'm glad you like them." He rubbed her back a little as they stood there in the falling snow. "Though...I don't suppose they are great for camoflauge."

Arya shrugged, stealing a glance at Perseus as she searched for a spot to build a snowman. "Doesn't matter, Truebridge is gonna teach me the disillusionment charm, so I won't need to have them for camoflauge." Her eyes found a spot near the end of the corridor that seemed to have plenty of snow, just waiting to be used for childish games. "There." She nodded over to the spot, leaning away from him slightly but still close enough to feel the heat he was emitting. "That's where we'll build Frosty." Then they were headin to the kitchens.

"Frosty eh?" Sabel chuckled and shook his head, shifting about so that she could hop on his back for a brief piggy back ride. "Do we have a nice top hat, button nose and eyes made of coal for him?" It was nice that some of his friends knew muggle references, made things a little easier. He had to wonder though, besides Merlin's beard, what wizards referenced.

Arya wraped her arms around his neck as she hopped on his back, kicking a bit of snow as she did so. "Yup. Though I don't have a top hat, I do have the button nose and we can use stones for his eyes." It could work. "He'll be Frosty the wizard snowman." Oh yea, he would be awesome.

"Frosty the wizard snowman." Sabel mused, starting towards the desired locale. "So...Merlosty?" It could work. They might have to find a way to fashion a robe then, or a cape, because capes were just epic.

"Yes, Merlosty the snowman." She giggled, watching as Perseus pranced a few feet infront of Sabel to the side. Aparently he wanted in on the wizard snow man building as well. He could find the stones.

When they reached the pile of snow, Sabel gently set Arya down, being mindful of the interested kneazle. "Alrighty then. One Merlosty coming right up." Sounded like some strange form of ice cream. With that in mind and a grin on his face, he set about starting to roll the snow into a semi-ball.

Swinging her pigtails over her shoulders, she started to help Sabel with rolling the snow into a ball. Perseus had aparently lost intrest it what they were doing and went off to chase a few birds that had been perched on a nearby bush. "So how big do we want him to be? Two or three balls of snow?" They could have easily done this with magic, but where was the fun in that?

Sabel paused to consider the question, glancing about at the snow avaliable. "Well...three is the general norm. Bottom, middle and head. And we should have enough snow. So..." He glanced back at her, grinning. "Three?"

"Three it is!" She grinned back at him before glancing around at the snow they had. "I think I'll start on the middle snow ball, that way we can put it on him when you finish this one." Kicking a bit up snow up, she went to another pile of snow and began to roll it into a ball as well.

"Sounds like a plan!" With that he continued rolling the ball of snow about with enthusiasm. It was a little hard to pack, but the challenge made it all the more fun. A few liberties were taken of tossing a clump of snow here and there at his friend, but none to hurt.

Arya was workin hard on her little ball of snow, cause the first wizard snow man had to be perfect, when she was attacked by clumps of snow. "Hey!" She said with a small laugh. Ceasing patting her decent sized snow ball, she picked up a few clumps of her own and tossed them in Sabel's direction.
