And there he was. *Fangirl squeal!* She gestured for Carter to follow her as she walked up to Evan. "Hi Evan!" she said happily. She was about to hug him but then stopped. Riiiight, not supposed to do that. She wondered if Evan would notice her not hugging him. Whatever, back to more serious matters. She opened to her mouth to say something, and quickly closed it, thinking of the right words to say. She stood there awkwardly and just STARED right at Evan, not saying a word.

Carter spotted Evan. Really? Did that guy just follow him around? He was everywhere he was. Walking with Violet he said to her. "I'll catch you later." He walked behind Evan and mouthed to Violet 'Talk to him!' while waving. He then hurried off and hid behind a nearby boulder.

She didn't hug him! That was progress.

Gold listened, in silence, as he listed off the subjects. When he asked what she was taking, she bit her lip. She couldn't possibly list her subjects, could she? Well, she could, but it would take a while.

"Everything?" She said, quietly. It was as much of a question, as it was an answer. She didn't even know if she could get the NEWT's. She had, what, eight outstanding OWL's, right now? The rest were E's. God, that was a disaster. She needed at least ten O's, in her NEWT's. Or she was never going to be able to look any professor in the eye, again.

Dylan's eyes widened. "Everything? But you will implode. That's like 12 NEWTs. You couldn't cope with the stress, Gold." That made him concerned about her health. He had struggled revising for his OWLs, and now she had to revise for 12 NEWTs. Oh how he hoped he could help her through them. But he was probably going to leave at the end of the year anyway. He wasn't needed here anymore.

"I guess I will be seeing you in all of my lessons then." All five of them. What a loser he was in comparison to her.

Kevin wandered along the corridor heading towards the grounds humming to himself he was wanting to meet some new people and maybe find a date for the ball that was coming up he was rather nervous

Since when had Violet been friends with Carter, and to such a great degree that she dragged him to Evan? He tried his best not to show a disgusted face. But it was really hard, because Carter was with Violet. Oh, wait--this meant he'd also see Violet drool over him. No, no, he did not want that! He waved slightly and tried to smile at Violet as a greeting, but failed. Smiling around Carter was never going to happen. He could only glare and growl at the boy. He didn't like Violet's stare. He could sense it, she was about to hug him, right in front of Carter...
...or not. Just as Evan was about to say something mean to the guy, he decided to leave. Well, that was relief. A huge one. He disappeared before Violet could make her move. And, talking of moves... it was time for Evan to move, too.

"I'll... see you later, too." he muttered, and started to walk away to the grounds.

Violet snapped out of her daydream with a blink. "Wait, Evan." she said and walked back over to him.

"I was wondering if sometime you could teach me football." she said nervously. "I hear your good at it, and I wanted to learn how to play." She avoided eye contact this time, and looked at the ground as if she saw something interesting. Awkward.

Evan halted as he closed his eyes in why me? thought for a moment, before he faced Violet again. Why did he always have to see her almost everywhere he went? This new Violet was much less annoying than the mean one, but still... she was too keen on him, which overwhelmed him. Though, this time she was taking it slow... wonder what caused that.

Upon hearing what she was saying, he was so surprised that he untentionally reacted with "What?" although he heard it quite clearly. "You want me to... teach you football?" Even though the sentence was only one question, the meaning had many hidden: a) where did she learn that he was good at football; b) why was she suddenly interested in; c) why didn't she want it from Carter; d) did she really think she could play it, considering the slides on the dirt? He raised one eyebrow, looking very sceptical. "You mean the football, right? The one at which you often fall, hurt yourself, head the ball and slide on the ground..?" Just making sure, 'cause she definately wasn't the type to like and stay interested in it more than a few minutes.

Eek! Was football really the way Evan described it? If so Violet didn’t want to play it, but at least she could use the spell where you don’t get dirty like Carter had mentioned; and she could go to the hospital wing if there was any injures, but she hoped it wouldn’t get to that point. She waited a second shuffling her feet, until she finally nodded. “Yeah, that kind of football.” She replied. “That fun, little, sport.” She added. Lies! She probably wouldn’t think its fun ‘cause of injuries and stuff, and it defiantly wasn’t little. At least it was a sport.

Leilani wandered out if the castle. Good, there were people here. She was finding herself a date, and she was going to find Selena a date.... Whether she liked it or not.

Cupping both hands over her mouth and practically screaming, Lani called out.

"Hey!! Does anyone need a date, or know someone who needs a date to the alumini ball?!?!"

Well, that was one way to do it..... Seriously, what had been in her breakfast?

Gold shook her head. "I need the grades," she said quietly. She wasn't going to implode, she knew she could handle everything. She had handled the OWL's, hadn't she? Though she had to admit, her grades were less than satisfactory, for her own self.

"I guess." She looked up at him, and gave him a little smile. The first she had, in what felt like days.

Marie was heading out to the courtyard enjoying the fact that she could go where ever she wanted without dragging Destiny along. Life was so much easier not having someone tied to you.

Just as she was about to step out into the courtyard she noticed Carter. Was he... hiding... and if he was, who was he hiding from? Sneaking up behind him she put her hands over his eyes. "Guess who," she whispered into his ear.

Carter smiled and pulled Marie behind the boulder with him. "Hey you. How's it going?" he asked her. He then looked back over the boulder to see how things were coming. No hug. That was good.

Dylan frowned, "You don't need 12 though. How many do you need to be a Healer? Like 7?" He didn't really look into it. He didn't want to be a Healer so he didn't have to.

He smiled back at her. She was smiling. Yay. Now to stop her hating him. That was going to be a hard one. But he had done it in the past, he could do it now.

That kind of football? That little sport? Evan looked even more sceptic of Violet's interest. First of all, there was only one kind of football; and secondly, it definately wasn't little considering the amount of money in the sector, and the people watching it. Only the value of a big team like Real Madrid was over 500 million euros; and over 700 million people watched the World Cup finals in Germany in 2006. Was she sure she knew this sport? Well, it was obvious that she didn't since she wanted him to teach her, but did she really want to learn it? He shrugged at last. "Okay, if you really want to learn it..." If it helped Violet to behave around him, he would be more that willing to do it.

"Have you got a date yet, for the ball?" He couldn't see her going alone, but just making sure before he made his final decision on who to ask.

"Hey yourself," Marie said. "Why are you hid..." She followed his gaze over the boulder and seen Violet and.... EVAN! "Are you spying on them?" she asked with a evil lettle grin on her face.

"Why is Evan talking to that... that... person?" She watched them trying to hear what was being said. Why would he even want to be anywhere near her after all the things she has done to hurt others. She is a evil, no good person who doesn't deserve to have Evan as a friend.

GASP!

DON'T DO IT EVAN! DON'T ASK HER TO THE BALL! She screamed in her head. She really wanted to run over to him and slap some sense into him... you know before he made thre biggest mistake of his life.

Okay, this was going a bit better now. "Yeah, I mean football sounds really...fun." she said nodding.

Le gasp! Hehe, she liked this topic, but thennn remembered something. Cue sad face. "Yeah, I'm going with Dillon Greenwood." Oh, it pained her to say that in front of Evan, anyone else she would have been more than happy to tell them but she didn't want to tell Evan the boy she liked. "Are you?" she asked. 'Cause if he was Violet had to confront some lucky girl and tell her off.

Evan didn't believe a bit that Violet thought football was fun, but he didn't question. Maybe she would really like it... though, if she did, she was more prone to becoming one of those fan girls Evan always hated. 'Oh Ronaldo, isn't he hot? Oh Torres, we love you! Oh Messi, how talented you are!' If she was going to talk about how cute, say, Torres was with him rather than analysing the game, he would as well skip it. He took a mental note to warn her before starting the lessons of that issue.

Reliiieve. Violet already had a date. So she was totally out of question, great. He was less than unlikely to have asked her if both Mina and Ella had found dates, but still he did consider her for one split moment. And now, he was very happy that she got a date, so much that he smiled.

"Not yet, I have two girls in mind. I also thought about you--" for one split second, then he had realised what he was doing and focused on Mina and Ella "--but now that you have a date..." He grinned largely, showing no signs of disappointment in her already having a date. It wasn't great that she wasn't going to drool over him, but what?

Why was Evan smiling?! Wasn't it a BAD thing that he couldn't go with her?! All these questions started forming in her mind and then...

SAY WHAT?!?!

Evan thought about her? She blushed and wanted to give him a hug-But now he wasn't thinking about her because she had a date! Greaaat. She had mixed emotions at the moment. Part of her wanted to faint of small flattery and part of her wanted to beg him to still go with her. "No, wait! If you want to go with me I mean like..." She wouldn't just tell Dillon that she found someone she liked more, that would be low. "I don't know." she finally finished with a sigh.

She was deep in thought, but wait Evan was also curious about two other girls? "Who are the two other girls?" she asked. Because she never really realised that other girls could like Evan too, she was usually just too focused planning 'Violet and Evan World'.

Carter was about to say what he was doing when Marie noticed exactly what was going on.

"Evan is talking to her because she's being nice. She hasn't hugged him or declared her love to him." he explained.

Wait... did he just...? He did! Carter didn't expect his plan to work that well.

And of all the times for Violet to actually have a date she had to choose now! Hopefully that meant that Evan wasn't going to go after his friends next.

Marie couldn't believe what she had just heard. Evan had actually thought about asking Violet to be his date to the Ball! Had the boy totally lost his mind? He seriously couldn't be that desperate that he would ask HER to be his date.

She looked over to Carter, "She's only being nice because she's up to something. Violet never does anything that won't benefit her. She only thinks of herself." She stood back up, "I'm going to go knock some sense into that boy," she said as she started to walk over to where Evan and Violet were standing.

Walking up behind Evan she gave him a thump in the back of the head. "Have you lost your mind? Why would you even consider asking that to the Ball?" she said glaring at Violet. There were enough girls in the school that he did NOT need to consider asking Violet for even for one milisecond.

Evan raised one eyebrow at the uncertainty of Violet. She wouldn't just leave Diggy now, would she? No, no, he couldn't afford that. Why had he told her anyway? It was only one seconds' thought, before he realised his fault and composed his thoughts. Seriously... had he got no mind?

"You cannot just leave Diggy now. 'Sides, I'm sure those girls haven't found dates yet, so I'll go with them." The end. He hadn't been thinking when he considered Violet and now he didn't want Violet, thus no need for her to dump Diggy now. "Oh, Mina and Ella. Know them?" There were a lot of Ellas in the school, but he didn't specify. Hehe. He didn't think Violet would confront them or anything, but just in case.

Just as he was about to excuse himself to search for Mina and Ella to show Violet he really didn't want her, he suddenly felt a small pain in the back of his head.

"Ouch!"

Turning, he came eye in eye with Marie. Had she been listening to them? He rubbed his head. Luckily, it was a light hit. "It was just one second's thought." he said with a small shrug.

"It was just a second's thought? Are you crazy... Why on earth would you even tell her that? You do know that you'll probably NEVER get rid of her now." He had now just given her reason to believe that there may someday be a chance that they could be together. "Seriously Evan, do you like having... HER follow you around like a puppy trying to get your attention all the time?" she glared over at Violet then looked back to Evan. She really did want to know what was going on in that little brain of his.

Violet glared at Marie. "Why can't Evan and I ever talk without you ruining it?" she asked. It seemed whenever she was talking to Evan, Marie had to ruin it.

Violet tilted her head to the side and looked at Evan. "Oh, well can I dance with you at the ball?" she asked. Hmm, Mina she wasn't quite sure who she was, although she had heard of her. And a Ella ? The only Ella Violet knew was Ella Westwick. "Do you mean Ella Westwick? She's one of my friends, her, a boy named James, and I were all best friends and met eachother on the Hogwarts Express on our way here in our first years." she replied.


Woah, wait just for a second?! "But you only thought about me for a second?" she asked, it was obvious by the look on her face she was deeply hurt.

"Wait! Wha--" Carter started. But it was too late. Marie was on the scene and there went his plans. He paced around in circles trying to think of a plan. When nothing came to mind he groaned and then went out and stood next to Marie. Hopefully Violet could keep her temper. They had made so much progress!
